PERSONALITY Cassius is a man who has seen humanity at its best, and at its worst. He knows just how far humanity will go to achieves its own ends, and knows how to manipulate it for his own. Behind his mask of civility and charismatic charm, he holds a disdain for mankind, for its governments, and especially those who claim to support 'just causes'. Despite this deep, contempt, he wears a mask of civility, charisma, and witty charm. No sense in acting like an animal after all. He's a rather successful businessman, running his family's company with the skill and efficiency to make his predecessors proud. He's also surprisingly skilled in the kitchen, able to cook up mouth watering dishes, as well as identify what ingredients have been used in a dish by taste and scent. Due to the harsh events in his life, he's developed a bit of a fearless and confident streak, feeling perfectly capable of handling any situation thrown in his way, facing it with a laugh and a smile. And yet, despite the civility and charm, despite his deep apathy from humanity, deep down Cassius is a lonely man who longs for companionship. However, after the loss of his wife and child, he's fearful of losing anyone he gets close to. Best to keep them from a distance. It hurts less when they die.
APPEARANCE Cassius stands at 6'2'' with a lean, yet muscular build, honed through military training and service. He has long, straight reddish-brown hair reaching down to just past his shoulders, and grey eyes. His face is long with sharp features. He would even be considered handsome, were it not for the severe burns covering his face. Even still, not that bad looking. In terms of clothing, Cassius always dressed in style, always seen wearing a grey business suit with a white dress shirt, fine black shoes and a red tie. A golden ring rests on his left ring finger. He always seems to have an uncanny ability to remain stylish, even in tense situations. INVENTORY ○ Combat Knife - A little keepsake from his time in the war, and boy does he know how to use it. Who needs guns when a good slashing will do? ○ Phone - A businessman's work is never done, even when you're in the digital world. Who knows when you need to call about a business decision, or something else of equal importance. ○ Pendant - A memento from his late fiance, and the only reminder of his life before the war. Just try to take this away from him. I dare you. BIOGRAPHY Cassius Saint's father was Nathanial Saint, owner of the electronics company 'Saint Electronics'. Hoping to keep the company in the family, it was expected of Cassius to take over the company. As a result, Cassius was educated at a young age the ins and outs of the corporate world. While attending business school, he met and developed a relationship with a Russian exchange student, Svetlana. After graduating, Svetlana had to return to Russia, though now carrying Cassius' child. The two were planning to reunite and marry. And then, World War III broke out, and the two were separated. Desperate to try and be with her again, Cassius enlisted in the armed forces, training as a soldier and being sent into battle. During his term of service, Cassius managed to take part in and survive a number of battles, all the while trying to get himself reassigned to the Russian front, trying to keep in contact with Svetlana. He finally got his wish, during the battle of Moscow. During the chaos of that battle, Cassius searched for his beloved and child, having learned they had been unable to evacuate the city before the battle began. He managed to find them, meeting his young daughter for the first time. And tragically, for the last. A wild tank shell blasted into the building they were in. The resulting blast killed Svetlana and their child, as well as severely burning Cassius' face. Rendered unconscious during the explosion, he was found later by his men and brought in for medical attention. To add salt to the wound, he would later discover the tank shell that had killed his love and child were from his OWN SIDE. They were victims of friendly fire. Due to his burns, he was rewarded the purple heart and honorably discharged, sent back to the states to sit out the rest of the war. Despite his family's wealth, he refused to undergo plastic surgery to restore his face. He had seen the blood and carnage at Moscow, and how innocent lives were destroyed, and all for what? Because of some message that started a war. He intended to keep his burned visage as a reminder, of just how low humanity can sink. After being released form the hospital, Cassius began his work and eventually assumed control of Saint Electronics. His iconic burned face and charming personality made him something of a celebrity, but even being a king of filth, still means your surrounded by filth. Despite the smiles and the laughs, Cassius grew disdainful of the world around him. And then, it happened. It happened one night, when he was in his office. The air began to distort and suddenly a strange form stumbled out. A Troopmon. Leftover from the war of the Seven, it found its way into the human world to avoid being sealed with the rest of the machine digimon. Cassius watched as the digimon regressed to its most basic form, and quickly spirited the little digimon away before anyone discovered it. As he nursed the digimon back to health, he learned of the digimon, and the digital world. A world where digimon fought for what they desired, and made no attempts to hide what they were. Monsters. APPEARANCE  PERSONALITY Kane is a fighter through and through. Having fought in the war, combat is the crux of his existence. He seeks strong opponents, and glorious battles, desiring to grow stronger. Due to Cassius saving his life, he has an unwavering loyalty towards him, and fully trusts in his commands. That isn't to say he can't function on his own. He's capable of improvising on the battle field and holding his own in battle. BACKGROUND Kane was originally one of many. One of the many, MANY Troopmon who fought in the armies of the Seven against the forces of the Olympus XII and the Sovereign. Kane was severely damaged during the final battle and while stumbling across the battlefield, accidentally found himself wandering into the human world, where he de-digivolved into Bommon. Thankfully he happened to stumble into the office of Cassius Saint, who spirited the injured digimon away and nursed him back to health. Grateful and now loyal to him, Kane educated his new tamer in regards to the digital world and digimon. Through his recovery, a new ambition began to grow within the digimon. DESCRIPTION PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ INFALLIBLE BODY - A Troopmon is essentially digital energy stuffed inside of a rubber suit. As such, it lacks bones, internal organs, and the ability to feel pain, allowing it to keep fighting at full strength despite any damage it takes. Immune to pain, and resistant to physical debuffs, reducing their duration by 1 post (minimum of 1 post). Debuffs of champion level and above are unaffected. ATTACKS ○ SHOCK STRIKE - Charging electricity through the metal ports on its fingers, Troopmon delivers a powerful open palmed strike to the target, sending a burst of electricity through them. ○ GAS GRENADE - Troopmon pulls a gas grenade from the pack on his back and throws it. DESCRIPTION  PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ FRENZIED VIOLENCE - Every post Tankmon attacks in, he gains a point of FRENZY (these points decrease by one for every post he does not attack in). When he accumulates four points, Tankmon's stats increase by 100% for 1 post and his cooldowns are reduced by 2 posts. After this duration, the FRENZY points are reset to 0. ATTACKS ○ ROADKILL - Tankmon charges at his opponent, slamming them with all his weight and running them over. ○ FIRING SQUAD - Tankmon lets it fly with both of his machine guns, the bullets tearing into the target and inflicting bleed on the target, dealing additional damage over the course of 2 posts. 1 post cooldown after bleed duration. ○ DUST CLOUD - Using the his treads, Tankmon is able to kick up a massive cloud of dust, dirty and sand, limiting visibility and reducing accuracy by 30% for 2 posts.
