Judging by Rukia's age she'd either be a first or a second year in high school, so Katsuo could either be a friendly senpai or classmate that the girl already knows.
Nothing really that special in mind for these two or reasons why these two could be friends. Just two students in the same school, who just happened to bump into each other and became friends, or something like that.
With Rukia's habbit of adding story telling into conversations, which contain truths and lies, I'd imagine at first meeting Katsuo finding this habit rather odd, but would every now and then try to tag along with the game and do the same. Though, him having a terrible poker face, he'd always lose.
In addition, the guy would probs have some interest in trying to style Rukia's hair and throw in comment like "Aren't those cat ears getting kinda boring? Why not try something new, like dog or mouse ears?".

Ah, another Spirit User. Well seeing as how it's Japan, my original intentions was to have her be a Sophomore, since they have the whole three year system going on. So playing around with a senpai could work. There's also me needing to do an origin thread for her, and playing around with her job at a maid cafe. I don't have that many threads going on right now, so whenever is fine.

Well, if she's going to be a sophomore, that'd make her a second year in high school, so they'd be in the same year. So would the two being in the same class jive well with you?
Also Katsuo ending up in the Digital World around the same time as Rukia had and the two bumping into each other is fine by me, so an origin thread with the two works just fine with me.
Katsuo making visits to the maid café as a customer also works, so those work too.
I'm fine with either threads, so I'mma let you decide if you want the origin one or the maid café one. Also if you want me to start the thread, then just tell me and I'll get it up for ya.

Ah, in that case, I want to do the maid cafe one. Been looking to do that on another site, but haven't gotten around to it. I've still gotta reply to Jazzy tomorrow, so you can start the thread.
