"Are you sure you wanna try this, don't get your hopes up Sebastian...it might not work" The somewhat familiar voice echoed, it had a robotic like zing to it now though, the twinkle seeming machine like, yet emotion still poured form her vocal chords, they still shown within her face and no matter what, those eyes. Those gorgeous eyes would always belong to her. Who was he meaning you ask? His old digimon Penguinmon, i say old simply because her form had been lost, her form completely vanished after the defeat by the phantoms, before the god pulled them aside and invested his trust within them. He had even revived his friend, though upon the digimon returning to her rookie form she had taken a different turn, a somewhat more mechanised appearance in the colour of Jupitermon, the digichome yellow appearance, perhaps this was a manifestation of Jupitermons power that changed her, perhaps not. All Sebastian knew was Penguinmon was gone in appearance but her spirit, her kind and gentle heart, that was now within Sparrowmon. "I'm sure Pengu...sorry Sparrowmon, no wait, you know what, you have so many forms we should just call you one name, what name do you prefer, anything you want and thats the one we go for ok?" Sebastian would say to the flying mechanised bird. "Ok, i liiike"

It felt like hours before the flying creature decided, they kep making their way up the vast hill which was said to hold an ite that Sebastian needed to do something he had wanted to do for a long time, That was of course "Jasmine" the voice from the creature flying beside him uttered. Oh yeah thats one ability she loved from her new form, the ability to fly. She wanted that and it turned out her champion form and her armour champion form had not granted that ability, yet they each granted a unique capability it was not the one she had wanted. "Jasmine?" "I...like that name" "Perfect, Jasmine it is then" Sebastian would say before rubbing the chin of the flying digimon. She giggled gently as they reached the top of the tower. "Look there it is" she exclaimed. Sebastian would feel his gut churning, twisting, if this worked...if this were truely magical, well then, it would seem he may have found a way off the digital world, yet according to the digimon he had met up with once more, alone, the Shamanmon explained that returning to and from the digital word was a piece of piss for those whom carried the D-3's. Something that none of his felloew "friends" had pointed out may i add, which was a shame because he was feeling rather homesick, he wanted to see his friends. His mother, his father, not so much his brother or sister because of something that happened way in the past. Yet all he knew, from every inch of his body to the core of his heart was, he just wanted to go home. He was desperate to see his mother, she must have been so worried about him.

At the top of the hill sat in the grass was a singular tv with the old style rabbit like antenna's. As Sebastian approached it, his hopes seemed dashed, how was a tv going to send him home, he was looking for a portal, or something similiar, this...this just wasn't what he was expecting. The joy he had been feeling, the hope that had allowed him to get this far left him as he plopped himself in front of the tv screen. "I'm sorry Sebastian, i, i tried to warn you not to get your hopes up" Yet Sebastian wasn't listening, his knees rose to his chest his arms came down to hold them as his head hung in shame, he was crying, tears fell to the ground. His heart, it hurt. It hurt so much. His heart just broke, he saw his mothers face, it had been so long, months on end since he had seen her, and he was now unable to picture her smile or recall the sound of her voice. Metallic wings, soft hands seemed to comfort him, "Sebastian look" the hands of the metalic bird would move down, touching the digivice hanging from Sebastians belt, it was glowing an odd gold colour. "What the hell" Sebastian would say in between sniffs, wiping his nose with the back of his hand, he would take the device from Sparrowmon or well it was Jasmine now and inspect it. The only thing that came to his mind was to well, point it in the direction of the tv. As he did, the tv flickered changing channel to channel, growing brighter before bursting in to a beautiful white light that enveloped the tamer and his digimon. At this precise moment, before their bodies were pulled through the tv a stange "HUH" filled the ears of the duo before something else grabbed on to them.

The grip of the other creature was strong, yet there was nothing the duo could do, as their bodies drifted in to data, they were pulled in to the tv and like when he was pulled from his computer screen, Sebastians body returned to that weightless, shapeless form that just existed, that could do nothing but drift in the singular direction that the white light was pulling them across. Then they appeared, in a strange room, filled with people and books whom oggled at them. Sebastian felt the presence release him and screams filled the room, he turned only being able to get a glimpse of an orange tail as it smashed through the window. Now people looked at him and Jasmine. "Sebastian" Jasmine would say obviously worried. "Run" Sebastian would reply. The duo broke from the building running outside and in to the street,  running along the street that looked so unfamiliar, it was only when he reached the thames river did he realize were they were. "Oh my god, Jasmine, we are in london...its the human world" "OH so we can go to your home now right?" "Not quite, we need to get a train to edinburgh then a train to galashiels,

"Oh my god, it tastes, so different, the bubbles, the flavour, I have never had pop like this" the flying mechanized bird would say. Sebastian would smile gently as he watched the creature drink its ice cream float, honestly the looks he was getting didn't bother him what so ever, he had never been the type to care what strangers thought. So the two drank their float as they waited. Bits were useless here, but Sebastian still had his wallet, inserting his bank code he would find his money had been untouched, give or take a few direct debits of course, but without doing any shopping for the past eight months, well he was richer than he had been in a long time. So he had purchased his train ticket, and they duo had sat at mcdonalds and devoured proper food, Sparrowmon wanted the nuggets but Sebastian had managed to push him from that due to the fact he evolved in to a large chicken and that would be cannibilsm in its tastiest form. So after the duo finished, they waited for their train. "OH, you guys have trainmons too in this world" Sparrowmon would say, obviously chuffed that he knew a digimon in the real world.

"No, thats just a train, your the only digimon in the real world Jasmine, these are just machines, no concious or self ability to do anything, Humans made them you see" Sebastian would say to his friend as they got on board. Sebastian had taken to holding Jasmine like a toy, though she was much bigger than any normal toy, and heavier due to the mechanised parts. They would get to their seats easily enough though and would be enjoying seeing the scenary, Sebastian loved it, seeing such familiar scenes, it took a few hours but eventually the duo got to Edinburgh, a city in which Sebastian had spent many a wild night, he had actually met the love of his life here, he had also become the "other" woman here, having become involved with his best friends boyfriend, but that was a story better left for another time, if ever. Sebastian and Sparrowmon would be left sitting for half an hour before the train to Galashiels, so they would wander around the station, getting something else to eat, the duo seemed to be so hungry, perhaps dimension or world jumping did that to you right. So they would eat more and more and more. Eventually the train they were waiting on came. Waiting to get on a strange looking someone caught Sebastians eye, the man was wearing an incredibly large trench coat and a hat, it was bloody roasting by the way, but he was so covered, yet a small orange tint, like not make up orange, not you've been tangoed orange but like bright ginger orange. Nah, probably a convention or something was going to be happening, Sebastian knew about cosplay so that was probably it, his time in the digital world had made him cynicle, thankfully though his mark was purified, he was no longer haunted by the phantoms of the past. He could move on.

With the card reader he had been gifted, and the potential installed within Jasmine, the cards by his side, the male and his partner would flow on, the train pulling through the country side, a tear seemed to fall from his eye, he felt something, warmth, comfort, safety being back in his own world, not needing to worry about digimon coming to attack him. It was nice. "It's pretty here, the air smells nice," Jasmine would say gently as she sat upon the seat, her wings folded as well as they possibly could be. "It is, we are coming in to Galashiels, this is out stop, from here we should probably go say hi to my mum, knowing her she's had the frigging army out looking for me ever since i went missing" Sebastian said with an eye roll, yet his stomach fluttered, he was so excited to see his mother, he hadn't seen her in about six months or something, was it more was it less? it felt like it had been forever and today, today he would get to see her, max and elsie again.

The train came to a halt, the duo exited, Sparrowmon was given looks but honestly the two really did not care, Sebastian wasn't about to leave Sparrowmon in a land that she did not know, she was there for him, well Penguinmon was, but they were the same being right, they were like one part of the same whole in the long run. Sebastian didn't know, something was off about her.....Sebastian just didn't feel as though she was the same digimon he had met before. But he had pushed this from his mind, she had done so much for him and regardless he would never allow her to think he doubted her. So the two would head on up the road, through the strees, up by iceland, all while answering questions by Jasmine, climbing up thestairs, stairs that used to kill him, perhaps the digital world had helped his stamina, the running the fighting everything had helped push him onwards. Round the corner and along the street, Sebastian would look at the car park, the car was there, she wasn't out. She would be in, checking the time upon his digivice he would smile, he had arrived on time, she wouldn't be getting ready to walk the dogs, she would most likely be watching tv or something. GOD GOOD TV, how it was missed.

Down the small alley, turning to see the door a few feet ahead, he saw blurry figures move through the strange glass, "Whats wrong Sebastian" the digimon would say gently, her hand rested upon his shoulder. Sebastian would look at her, twinkling of tears threatening to fall from his dark brown eyes, "It's been so long since I saw her, that well, im kind of scared" Sebastian would say gently, figdteing with his fingers. "Just take your time, we have time now, we are here, and your mother is over there" the digimon uttered. Sebastian would smile softly, taking a deep breath before walking forward. A couple of knocks on the door, his hand shakilly moved to the handle.

The door opened, "Mum" he uttered. Then all hell broke loose, skidding paws hit the lamanat flooring, padding and skidding, soon a force struck the boy, he giggled trying to quell the beasts that ferociously tackled him, the black greyhound, the tan and white saluki cross both whined as they licked the boys face over and over. Jasmine had flown upwards, revealing her guns. "I'll save you Sebastian" "No no its ok" he managed to say, though this meant a pair of tongues found their way in to the mouth. Jasmine halted. "Sebastian" a females voice said. The dogs seemed to understand, moving, slinking to the living room. Standing up Sebastians eyes caught his mother, and honestly he had never seen a true beuty, she was there, skinnier than he remembered, a little bit more tired, but she was there. Then, Then she was in his arms, crying on his shoulder, holding him as if her life depended on it. "Is this your mother" the bird would say still with her guns out. His mother looked up, before screaming and passing out.

She awoke, and the two talked, Sebastian explained everything,they went to the shop to pick a few things up and on there return there was something, different the dogs were not as happy, they kept away from his mother, Sebastian didn't notice, happy to see his mother, Jasmine kept commenting, she was rude, she kept hinting at a smell, and when he left to get some juice he returned to find she had attacked his mother. He already thought she was different but this was the last straw. "HOW DARE YOU, HOW FUCKING DARE YOU HURT HER, WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE, GOING AFTER MY MOTHER, YOUR NOT PENGUINMON YOUR NOT MY FRIEND," Sebastian shouted as he stormed in front of her, forcing her to the door, "Sebastian, its not, shes not, you dont" she tried, but sebastian was haing none of it. "PENGUINMON WOULD NEVER HAVE DONE THIS, SHE WOULD NOT ATTACK MY MUM," he said as he pulled the digivice from him. Throwing it to the ground he would look at her. "I don't know you"

Then he slammed the door in her face.

Little did he know that the creature behind was not his mother, but a power hungry fiend. Yet the two would continue to talk, Sebastian filled her in on the digital world properly, his adventures with penguinmon...then her death...he told her how he never trusted Sparrowmon, it felt wrong, felt like she wasn't the same creature. Then there was a knock at the door, it opened. "Hello" the sound of Melissa, his best friends voice rang through the house. He ran to her hugging her, another one he would have to fill in, she like usual hugged his mother and then noticed the necklace. "Loveley necklace Janice, Sebastian hadn't noticed it, he had seen the symbol before, he just couldn't, he couldn't picture it. Yet instead he smiled gently to his mother and began to fill his friend in on what had happened

So they got re-aquanted, telling each other about their lives, about what has happened, she was engaged, engaged to a man that sebastian had once given a quick handjob to while she was in the same bed, but that was waaay before they were going out, no it was when Sebastian was the other "man" but hey things happen. Sebastian couldn't help feel the niggling in his mind though....he had been so mean, he had been awful to her, he had been absoloutly disgusting to Jasmine...sure she was jealous but....he let everything slip out to the one who protected him, ok so she was different, so what...she wasn't penguinmon, but that wasn't her fault, it was his. "Come on Melissa, i wanna go find Jasmine, i can't leave her wandering alone" he said as he rose. Melissa was about to do the same but his mother stood up. "NO DON'T" Sebastian looked quizingly at his mother. Drool left her mouth as she laughed. "I followed you, i wanted to know why he took an interest, i got rid of your digimon, and you didn't even know i wasn't her." His mothers hand shot out, grasping Melissa by the neck, as she did her body morphed into that of a large spider..Sebastian hated spiders.

It was as if he had changed, nothing surprised him, even his mother morphing, right now he had to focus on his friend, on keeping her safe but then. "What did you do to my mother" "She's taking a nap in the bedroom with those mutts" the spider uttered. He wished he had his digivice, he wished..o hgod Jasmine, JASMINE KNEW, she tried to warn him. "Sebastian." sobbed Melissa, she was so scared, THEN SMASH, the window blew in and gunfire was shot at the face of the creature, her surprise wouldcause her to release Melissa whom Sebastian caught, They turned to run but the champion knocked the attacking bird away and spirder webs caught Melissas back pulling her back in to the grasp of the spider. The spiders back was by the computer. WEll well well she came back, i was hoping to savour you all, but i guess killing you all now makes more sense" The digimon said. "Wait wait please no, don't look i'll go with you, i'll do whatever you want, no struggle nothing, You can torture me, you can." "You can take us both, you can do whatever you want, we wont do anything to stop you, just...just don't hurt the girl, " Sebastian was shoked, Jasmine offered herself up to torture for a girl that she did not know, because she was special to Sebastian. If he hadn't been so stupid in not believing her, in being more mature in listening to her. This wouldn't be happening, it was all his fault completely. "Please, please i swear please" "Please please please" Melissa would say softly through tears. "Oh this is delectable, but let me say something. Gigyas sends his regards." Sebastians eyes widened at the name.

The spiders hand raked across her throat, splitting it open with the sharp claws. The girls eyes widened, her hands flying to her throat, but it would do no good, for the slit would allow the creature to yank the head from the shoulders. His best friend...dead. Sebastian just froze, today...today was supposed to be a happy occasion, it was supposed to be something that brought him happiness, yet Gigyas had taken that from him. How did he know, how did he know were he was, how did this digimon get to this world. It just, nothing made sense to Sebastian, yet a voice, it pushed through him. Jasmine was shouting his name as the spider moved towards the digimon, her hand moved and soon his digivice was in his hand. He moved quickly, His hand grasping the card, he had never really utilized the card reader aspect of his digivice before, but he grasped a single card, A quick scan, oh the irony. "DIGIMODIFY: ARUKENIMONS STRING" he shouted. The light from his digivice stirring, yet it would be Sparrowmon whom acted.

Her mouth opened and webbing would shoot forth, covering the creature, she thrashed trying to cut it but she knew the power of her own string, alas during her thrashing she slit the necklace she was wearing which landed with a soft thud. Sebastian would run forth as she was unable to move, his digivice facing the computer, With one push the digimon would be pushed in to the digital world. Now Sebastian had to think, he used his mothers rug, which by the way seemed to contain the entirety of the blood from his best friends body. Rolling the body and the head in this, [while also barfing] he would then utilize his digivice to send her to the digital world too. She had no family apart from her fiance, he would tell her what happened. Show her. but now he had to prioritize. He ran to the bedroom and checked his mother whom was contained in webbing along with the dogs. JAsmine made quick work of it and they seemed to be ok. He would write a quick note, leaving out what had happened to Melissa. While he did this Jasmine would have noticed the necklace, she knew the crest. Thus the digimon wouldhold on to it. With the note done Sebastian would open up a portal. he would be facing her, the creature whom murdered his best friend, she had just managed to push her self from the webbing, the rug containing the corpse of Melissa had rolled past her, down the hill. Sebastian was shaking, he was denumming. Anger surged through his body, Gigyas., he was the reason for this. He was the reason that the creature had came for him ,that the creature had murdered his best friend, had turned him against his other best friend. "You killed my best friend, you turned me against Jasmine, you hurt my mother. You, your a creature of darkness, you and gigyas, you kill, your never going to understand, you dont know the bond of friendship, the bond of love, you will never understand, so you take that away, you corrupt" Sebastian would say.

His anger, his love, the bond of friendship he had lost, it all flowed through him. "Sebastian" Sparrowmon whispered. "I'm sorry Jasmine, i know your not penguinmon, i know your the same as her but your also different, your you a perfect combination of the two" he would say as tears flew, he forgot himself and he grasped the digimon. "Your my best friend, you were willing to give up your life for Melissas, you...my friend..." the light erupted from the necklace just as Arukenimon released her Spider Needle technique, yet the light seemed to halt their movements. The crest of friendship, a digiegg that held that seemed to form around the duo before entering the digivice, yet Sebastian and Jasmines show of friendship on such a trying day, that was what activated it. The light erupted from the duo as Jasmine's form rapidly grew, expanding into that of a giant bird. Her blue form revealing itself as Sebastian would be found upn her back, unable to move properly as if he were buckled in. "What the" "I am Thunderbirmon, the act and kind words of friendship has awoken the digimental, I will protect you Sebastian, i will never let you faul, I could not protect your friend, but i swear i will protect you," she would utter before screeching.

As she screeched and flapped her wings, the weather changed, she easily dwarfed Arukenimon, Thunderbirmon was glorious, the blue form, the armour like feathers, the red mask, she radiated power and her size showed she was no push over, she had yet to move other than bat her wings, yet the weather changed, thunder burst from the skies and connected with the spider, not once but twice. Who said it never struck twice right. "You migth feel a tingle" Jasmine uttered as her entire body began to glow yellow, what was unique was Sebastians body also seemed to turn to this lightning, this yellow digiparticle, all forming in to one shape as it shot forth, piercing the body of the spider whom screamed, her scream filled Sebastian with joy, yet he was still empty, how could one be happy, yes the duo had avenged his bestfriend, but she was still dead, he had lost a friendship, "You lost a friend, we can not leave this place, we can not go back to the human world, we can not be with others." Jasmine said, sadness in her voice. "your right, we can't risk anyone else getting hurt because of who we stood up to, we can't go back, we need to make sure never to stay with someone to long, if they need help, we can help out, but we can't risk them being to associated with us...i can't risk anyone else...not even you falling to him, he can't be allowed to hurt anyone else i love" Sebastian would say. "Can i get off please" he added.

Thunderbirmon or Jasmine as she was known would release her static, allowing him to drop from her, heading to the river were the body was loded. "We should put her in the lake, she loved to swim" Sebastian would say softly and thats what they did, they together packed the rug with heavy rocks and Thunderbirmon lowered her in...sebastian did somethin he rarely did, he sang gently a song they used to sing together. A song that would stay with him for ever and keep the bond of friendship strong, she may be gone...but their friendship would live on.
