DANCING UNDERNEATH THE SKIES OF LUST "hmph. mighty empty today." the green haired woman spoke to herself, commenting on the lack of boarmon in the mangrove today. they were her regular source of food, easy to catch due to their low intellect and mobility, and delicate to taste. it certainly beat eating roachmon carcass, which is something she'd like to say she hadn't done before. she was currently perched in the branch of a tree, about two or three stories from the ground. it made for an excellent view of the grove, well, at least a better view of the grove. it was so ridden with plant-life that it was difficult to make anything out unless if you were somehow flying above it. not that she minded - the growth here was fascinating. it was perhaps one of her favorite places in the digital world, so wild, so lush. she could spend all day here and write an entire novel about why. but perhaps, that would be best for a later date. she attempted to adjust her skull-helmet, but was interrupted by a loud roar. from her knowledge, it had to be some sort of dinosaur digimon. not good, no, not good at all. "spirit engage, energize, whatever. activate!" asuka spoke to her d-tector, frantically pulling it out to call upon the spirit of wood to aid her. within seconds, it responded, combining with her body and the earthly nature spirit to create a small plant-like digimon. a palmon, rookie level. likely not good enough for what was coming, but better than her human form. maybe. as expected, moments later, a rampaging monochromon appeared from the brush. it was clearly pissed off, asuka didn't know why, nor did she care, but she did know that this thing had already spotted her. it let out another feral roar upon locking eyes with hers, causing a somewhat dramatically sized drop of sweat to trickle down her face. "i wish this form didn't have such stubby legs. poison ivy!" the plant-girl yelled, extending her talons towards the dinosaur. she knew the attack stood no chance, but maybe if she aimed towards somewhere vital...like the eyes. bingo. they made contact. the dinosaur screamed. he would now be suffering a rather painful rash - directly on his eyes. now that he was unable to see, escape would be a pinch, but could she do more? could she take down this beast? did she care to? these thoughts rushed through her head, before she decided that it would ultimately just be best to leave. the extra data wasn't worth potentially getting killed. flight over fight, it seemed. as she went to use another poison ivy attack to leave the scene of battle, she tripped over a small rock, falling flat on her face. rock, no, that wasn't a rock. as she looked, she noticed it to be some sort of egg, having some sort of leafy design to it. she couldn't pass up grabbing this thing, whatever it was. the palmon grabbed it, and before the dinosaur could turn around to blindly charge at her, grabbed to a nearby tree with her vine-like talons. she was gone, at least to that sucker. too easy.
