regarding staff -
as some of you may or may not know, the staff team has been rather busy as of lately.
▪ king is out for an unknown amount of time due to personal issues. any threads that he was participating in should be left on hold until further notice. any events he was npcing will be taken up by somebody else.
▪ bees is still partially out for about a week, but still has time to do staff work here and there.
▪ i, personally, have been busy as of lately and haven't found much time to post. however, my activity should be returning to normal fairly soon.
▪ usagi has been busy with school - but is trying to find time to do NPC posts and the sort.
Due to this we will be holding staff applications very shortly! Additionally one of the previous mods will become an admin! woo!excitement! additionally, gms will be given the power to do shop purchases and approve profiles.
regarding the tournament -
the tournament is finally coming to a close, though not without a lot of pain. it may be some time until we do another tournament event - however - there will still be loads of plot events and minibosses to come, many unlike anything seen so far.
regarding changes in cards -
several cards were changed - and you should update your card decks in your digivice thread with the new descriptions if you have them. these cards were contained in the apocalypse set and are listed as follows:
108. DEATH - Summons 3 Sealsdramon companions for 2 turns.
109. WAR - Using this card will cause a thick, wooden wheel to appear in front of the user. Spinning it will cause it to land and launch a high-velocity elemental beam -- aimed by holding the wheel's handles -- with a sixth of a chance to be either fire, ice, electrical, arcane, or dark damage, and the final sixth to be a healing burst, to be calculated by dice roll.
110. CONQUEST - A battle song starts to echo and the ground begins to shake. Any allies of the user nearby gain a 50% boost to defense and power for 3 turns. Lesser enemies may be knocked down or off-balance by the ground's shaking.
111. PESTILENCE - Floods the battleground with 3 metre deep water for 5 turns.
the new descriptions are:
108. DEATH - Summons 3 Infested Skullknightmon for 2 turns. Each of these summons obey the summoner completely and cannot be turned against them by any means. Additionally, they are infested with hundreds of stinging insects.
109. WAR - Sends the user's Digimon into a berserked state, increasing their power by 150% for 2 turns. The Digimon does not feel pain during these turns.
110. FAMINE - A ghastly mist covers the battlefield, preventing the enemy from using any healing abilities (including passives and items) for 2 turns.
111. PESTILENCE - A swarm of flies fill the battlefield - biting any enemies and causing them to suffer from System Rotting for 4 posts. This causes the inflicted to feel sick and eats away at their data - causing them to take an increasing amount of damage each turn they are inflicted with the sickness.
If you have 110. CONQUEST, you keep that card, but rename it to 110L. CONQUEST. This card is now legacy and will never be given out again.
