TEAMS INFO
Teams themselves are very simple things. Mostly, it's a small group of members who have experience with each other and like to work together a lot.
MEMBERSHIP
To start out a team, you need at least 2 members ready and willing to participate. At any time, a team must have no less than 2 members. Membership is fluid, so you can easily allow members to join and leave as they wish, so long as you don't go outside those bounds. At anytime, a character can be in a maximum of 2 teams.
BENEFITS
So why join a team? The benefits of being in a team are several. First off, being in a team makes you and your Digimon work better together. In addition, this will allow you the added benefit of traveling with a party instead of alone, much bettering your chances for completing events, dungeons, and various quests. Teams also can purchase benefits such as traits - which are very essentially bonus passive abilities!
EQUIPMENT
Another benefit of being in a team is that you have access to more equipment. Being in the Human World, one takes things like homes and vehicles for granted. In the Digital World, it is hard to buy and maintain these things on your own.
Team leaders can buy special items at the Triton Base Expo, such as equipment, traits and upgrades to their base.
Teams, once formed, are eligible to buy a base sub-forum in any given area. This will cost 4,000 bits, and will allow the team leader to create a sub-board in any area that they wish. In this area, they will be given a fully functional base of command with all of the accommodations that they could possibly ask for.
ORGANIZATIONS
Organizations are a team upgrade that is globally available once a team has met the requirements of 8 members AND have been deemed worthy enough to become one. No amount of bits or members will earn a team the right to become an Organization. After becoming an organization, your team will be established harder into the site plot and will influence the world more than ever. Additionally, your team will earn an Organization Shop - a shop that will be posted in your sub-board upon upgrading that will allow the purchase of many things - such as mercenaries, weapons, advanced defense systems, and coffee lounges.
NB -- You may only make use of one team's traits and equipment one at a time, if you are a member of multiple, in a single thread.
