S.O.S [Adam/ask]

It was dark in the Digital World. Probably night time. Lots of digimon were curled up against each other, sleeping peacefully. 
The silence in Emerald Mangrove was soothing, yet chilling in a way. 
Though, in the middle of the jungle, was a small campfire still lit. Next to it sat a lonesome Gabumon, holding something.. or someone in his arms. It looked frail, tiny. 
The light of the campfire shone on the face of a little girl, her cheeks were feverishly red and her eyes were closed. 
With a sigh, the Gabumon pulled her closer, so she could snuggle into his coat. It looked like the rookie was waiting for something because his eyes were darting around the area. 

"Mmmm.." mumbled a voice, and a smile played on the Gabumon's lips. "Hey pipsqueak." the digimon murmured in a loving tone. The little girl's eyes opened, hazily staring up at her digimon partner. "J-Johaan?" She whispered, before weakly grabbing a fistful of his coat to pull herself closer. She didn't say anything, but the Gabumon didn't need to hear because he already knew. She was just worried about her other digimon's wellbeing. She left at dawn but had yet to return to their base. 
"She'll come home, Hannah." He told his tamer in a soothing voice. Johaan then looked at the direction that she was supposed to emerge from. "She always does." He then added, trying his best to hide the worry in his tone.

On the other side of the forest, a tiny Salamon was trying to escape from a pair of champion digimon. God knew for what reason, to be honest. They saw her and immediately started chasing. 
Her tiny paws hit the damp ground as she was desperately trying to shake off her pursuers until her paw was stuck between a root. The rookie collapsed into the mud, the berries that she had gathered during her travels now scattered around. 

She shut her eyes tightly as she heard the footsteps approaching, their heavy huffing indicating that they were probably tired from chasing her. 
'I'm sorry.. Johaan..' was her final thought.

Adam Jackson

Adam just couldn't believe it! If his digivice was to believed someone very special to him was in the digital world! The trio had been sleeping at the top of of a rather large tree when his digivice had begun to beep and vibrate like crazy. When he finally answered the device he was greeted with a picture of someone he thought he would never see again! The powers that controlled the digital world had sent him a picture of his little sister Hannah and two digimon, a Salamon and a Gabumon along with a map to their current location. Once the young tamer put on his trade mark coat that he had gotten from their father the trio set off to find them at top speed.

As the trio traveled, Adam remained completely silent and focused on his digivice so that he could reach his sister and her digimon as fast as he could. Their tamers unusual silence worried Adam and Renae but didn't fight it because they knew how they would feel if they had been separated for so long. As they got closer and closer to their destination, Remy's eyes began to twitch as he heard a small voice as well as fast moving foot steps. The male digimon quickly stopped his sister and his tamer and pointed down at the ground where A Salamon had fallen, being chased by two champion level digimon. When Remy looked over at Adam to find out what he should do his tamer just pointed down toward the Salamon causing the digimon to nod.

"Got it!"

Remy then let himself begin to drop down from the tall tree he was standing in. As he fell Adam's digivice began to glow a bright green causing Remy to be swallowed up by a bright green energy orb.

"Renamon warp digivolve to!...Ware Garurumon!"

As the ultimate level digimon landed in front of the Salamon he looked back at the small digimon with a smile.

"Don't worry I'll keep you safe."

The ultimate level digimon then looked back toward his foes with a grin.

"I'll end this quick."

Remy then ran at his foes and as he got closer he jumped into the air and kicked the air with both legs sending out two blades of hard light energy at the two digimon.

"Circle moon kick!"

As Remy fought, Adam looked down at the Salamon before jumping down to him, gently helping him to his feet. He then smiled at the little rookie digimon.

"Hello, my name is Adam Jackson. I think you're one of the partners of someone very special to me. If you are one of the partners of Hannah Jackson my little sister will you take us to her?"

Suddenly the Salamon heard a voice yelling 'got it!', and the little rookie feared the worst. What were they gonna do to her? Though then she heard that same voice digivolving, and her eyes snapped open.
Was that.. Johaan?
No. Johaan couldn't digivolve yet, not after what happened to them before they met Hannah.
The Salamon watched in awe as a Were Garurumon jumped right in front of her, shielding her from the two champion digimon that chased her. "J-Johaan?" She stammered, as the Were Garurumon turned to her and told her he'd keep her safe. No.. that wasn't Johaan. Though she yelped as a human had jumped out of a tree, startling her.

The Were Garurumon then charged at the champion digimon that now turned around to flee as they saw an ultimate defending the Salamon. They had no intention of dying right now.

Then the human helped her to her paws, and she backed away a little. Whoever this was, she didn't know their intentions. Though as the boy mentioned that his name was Adam Jackson her eyes narrowed. Wasn't that Hannah's last name as well?
"You're.. Hannah's brother?" Her eyes lit up in amazement, perhaps he could help her! But.. in these past two days Hannah had never spoken about having a brother. "Wait.." she muttered, her eyes narrowing just slightly. "How do I know I can trust you?" She then asked.

On the other side, Johaan couldn't sit around and wait any longer. Maybe his sister was in grave danger, and he wouldn't know it.
The Gabumon turned to his tamer, who stared into the distance with unfocused eyes. "Hannah?" The rookie carefully asked, seeing her eyes dart to him. "We're gonna look for Lifa, okay?" Johaan suggested, slowly getting to his feet and holding Hannah bridal style. She nuzzled into his chest, and Johaan wasn't sure if his words had registered into the sick girl's mind.

After a few minutes of walking, he noticed a Were Garurumon fighting two champion digimon and-- what looked like a human talking to.. "LIFA!" Johaan shouted, staring at her with wide eyes.
The Salamon turned, looking surprised to see her brother away from their base. "Johaan?"

As the champion level digimon ran away, Remy returned to his rookie level form and quickly made his way to his tamer and the young Salamon. The two boys were soon joined by Renae who gently waved at the little Salamon in front of her. As the Salamon asked how she could trust them Adam pulled out his digivice out from under his shirt and pulled up a hologram copy of a family picture of an 8 year old him as well as a two year old Hannah with their parents.

"As you know, time travels half the speed in the human world as it does here. Four years have passed for her making her 6 and 8 years have passed for me making me 15."

As Adam was getting ready to explain more, he saw something that instantly made tears stream down his cheeks. He watched as a Gabumon arrived holding his little sister who at first glance did not look all that well. Without another word Adam just broke into a run and as he reached the gabumon and his sick looking sister, Adam dropped to his knees in front of them.

"Hannah! Hannah it's me Adam your big brother! I'm here for you..oh god..how did she get so sick?"

Adam looked at the Gabumon frantically.

"You! Johaan was it? How long have you been with my baby sister?! How did this happen to her!?

Seeing his tamer begin to panic, Remy walked up behind him and patted his shoulder softly.

"Calm down Adam, yelling won't help her. We have to keep level heads."

Adam nodded, his tears soaked with tears. While this happened, Renae picked up the herbs and berries that the Salamon had dropped and then looked down at the little rookie.

"You were going to use these to make a medicine yes? What form do you want it in, paste or liquid? I'll help you make it so we can save her."

Lifa watched the Were Garurumon degenerate back to his rookie form, at that point, the strangers were joined by another Renamon. A black one this time.
Her question was answered by a hologram picture of a young boy and what looked like a toddler. A toddler that looked very similar to Hannah. There were also two adults beside them, Lifa assumed those were their parents.
"I see," Lifa said, a huge smile appearing on her face. Though before she could say anything else, her brother, along with Hannah, appeared on the scene. "Johaan?" She asked, and in a blur the boy that had been talking to her stormed over to her brother. Lifa ran after him just in case he would try something funny.

The boy fell on his knees in front of Johaan who held Hannah to his chest, eyes slightly narrowed as he wasn't sure what was going on.
Hannah looked at the boy, her eyes hazy and distant. It didn't look like she noticed Adam. Johaan's expression changed from hostile, to guilt. So this man apparently knew Hannah. He boy began to ramble, and without a second thought Johaan gently offered Adam to hold her.
He noticed the boy's frantic look, before the boy continued his rather frantic speech.
"I'm sorry, sir." Johaan began, unsure of what to do. "we've been with her for two days, she arrived like this and we aren't sure what's causing it." The Gabumon rubbed the back of his head.

The male Renamon walked up to the trio, and then pat the human boy's shoulder.
"I agree." Johaan said, as the Renamon said that yelling wouldn't help. "Besides, you'd upset her by yelling." He looked at his tamer, who had her eyes squeezed shut and looked like she was about to cry.

Lifa, now turning to the black Renamon that started picking up the herbs, smiled happily at her. "Yes, I was hunting for these berries in hope it would help Hannah feel better. We've been trying to move but it's difficult as her fever won't break." The Salamon then looked at Hannah. "We're trying to feed it to her in a liquid, since she isn't holding any food down."

As Johaan held Hannah out to him, Adam just cradled his little sister in his arms gently as if she was the most fragile piece of art in all of the universe. As the Gabumon agreed that he shouldn't yell Adam just nodded and held his sister close, putting her head to his chest so that she could listen to his heart beat to hopefully keep her calm. As he did this he listened to the male rookie tell him that his sister had arrived while she had been sick. Adam then gave the rookie an apologetic look.

"I'm sorry I yelled at you. I just have been away from her for eight years..we were supposed to grow up together but never got the chance too. I've missed her so much."

Adam then kissed Hannah's forehead softly with a worried smile.

"Don't worry sweetie, we're gonna make you all better. You will be running around and playing in no time I promise."

As Adam cared for his baby sister, Remy couldn't help but smile. He had seen Adam be the warrior,the hero and the adventurer but loving big brother was something entirely new and he had to admit he liked to see it. Once he saw that his tamer was calmed down, Remy walked over to his sister and Lifa and listened to the Salamon tell Renae that the berries were supposed to make Hannah feel better but that they had to be in liquid form.

"I'll go get us some water for the medicine."

Without another word, Remy jumped into the trees and was soon out of view as he looked for a clean source of water. Once he was gone,Renae walked away from Lifa just long enough to grab a medium sized round rock. She then stomped on it as hard as she could to break it in half, turning half of it into a stone bowl. She then grabbed a large leaf off of one of the trees and sat it down on a boulder as a plate.

"Luckily you picked the right berries and that I used to have to make medicine for Adam all the time when he was young."

Renae then sat a berry down and used half of the broken rock to gently crush it against the leaf and then used her finger to scrape the paste off of the leaf and into the stone bowl. She then did this with the rest of the berries until they were all paste inside of the bowl. Once that was done Remy returned with a hollowed out log full of clean water. Seeing the medicine paste he just gently poured some of the water into the bowl with a smile. Renae then picked the bowl up and gently walked it over to Johaan and offered it.

"Give her this, it will make her feel better. Adam sweetie, let Johaan see Hannah. He will give her right back, won't you Johaan?"

Renae then gave Johaan a look as if to ask him to play along. Adam then held hannah out gently.

"I hope this works."
