Praesidium’s walls are considered the safest in Europe…and they should be, too, to keep out the constant threat of a Feral menace. Ever since the Black Death struck the world and decimated the population, supernaturals have been forced to step up and care for their mortal food source. Considered “Guardians” in modern 2036, they take care of and protect their “Wards”—species that they feed from for clean, safe blood and energy. The only problem is…not everyone is fond of this dynamic, despite how long it’s been in place. In Praesidium, we encourage community and camaraderie; this is a place to build friendships and families, to protect your kin and your life and most importantly, find like-minded individuals who understand and accept you. Not everyone is fond of being forced to live within a walled city for protection against stronger, vicious outside forces, though. It’s unsettling…..tell me. Do you feel caged, yet?
