Holy halo - The Holy ring around Gatomon's Tail protects him against Virus digimon and their attacks. [Virus Resistance] Battle Synopsis▪ ▪ 56% Experience until Mega335/600 Posts▪ | The Tamer and Digimon duo wandered the Digital world, having heard rumours about an interesting treasure in Nanosphere Forests. Some Digimon had mentioned they found an oddly shaped Digi egg nobody was actually able to lift. They described it as being silvery, with wings and a crest of love engraved at the front. No matter how she looked at it, that defenitely sounded like a Digimental. It was as good a reason for adventure as any, and Yana wasn't one to shy away from it... However, today she was clearly absent from the whole thing, devoid from her usual cheerfully sweet look as she looked around with Ari by her side. The past few days had been... Troubling... Yana now knew something was wrong. On more than one occasional she had felt something wrong inside her, when comfronted with some of the many evils who made their home right here in the Digital world. Corrupted Digimon... Evil Cultists... Dark destroyers... There was no end to the menace to all peace loving Digimon and humans, and while she had manage to cope with it since she got here, she couldn't bring herself to accept it. And thought it always bothered her, it never did so the way it did now. Seeing how far and how low these dark powers were willing to go seemingly brought forth darkness within herself, at least that was how Yana saw it. But Ari had other ideas: For a long time she had been advising Yana - warning her even - that she should express her true feelings more often, even if that meant feeling angry at others. The girl had a hard time wrapping her head around this notion; she'd been educated to be kind, loving and accepting of others faults, always see the best in them. But recently she'd been meeting more and more individuals who were utterly and completely without any sliver of positive that she could see. "Wherever light exists, so will Darkness. The brighter the light, the deeper the shadow...", She would admonish, "But there's only so much Darkness one can lock in before being consumed." She wasn't the type to get angry... Or so she thought... But remembering that feeling in the sewers made her shudder and shake her head defensively: A feelingt as vile as the water they were sloshing through. Why did Ari urge her into such a thing?! "No... That's not me...!! No way I could every hurt anyone like that!", Yana cringed at the thought, shaking her head, "No matter what!!" This was the one problem with Ari's approach. She had no way to convince her partner that accepting her anger wasn't the same as yielding to it every single time. Her love was unending... Yana was the kind of girl whose love ran deeper than most others, but the reverse of a strong love was also an equally strong hatred. As much as she denied it, the more time went on the more she started accepting that truth. But did that mean she was just condemned to give in to her hatred? She couldn't accept that! She could never accept such a thing, turning into the very thing that drove her to such extents. As they looked for the digimental, Ari was also desperately trying to find something to distract her tamer, hopefully the same thing they'd been searching. "Oh...? Nana-chan, look!!", Ari called out, tugging Yana's skirt and pointing away. Yana turned her gaze and adjusted her glasses, astonished. Right in the middle of a clearing, shining under the sunlight... Stood a Digimental!! And what more, the crest it bore was the same as the one hanging from her neck... Yana's crest of love. Shoving aside her doubt, Yana waddled over to the Digimental crouched, holding onto it and feeling the cool metal against her palms, and hoisted it up... |
