"She was the first to escalate the battle by attacking the tamer, trying to keep his partner from digivolving... Something you'd expect to see in a war rather than a fighting tournament.", Yana answered sternly, clearly surprised to hear that she was actually a nice girl outside of it, looking around the arena with an ominous look, "This place must be getting to her... Don't let it get to you too."

Yana shook her head, visibly disturbed by the implications. If this tournament was making good people lose their morals by lowering themselves to Crow's level, than his purpose with the tournament was clear, at least one of them. Using people's own flaws to nurture their inner darkness? It's as bewilderingly machiavellian as frighteningly barbaric.

"I don't really know that well either, but I think they're some kind of Digital Police?", Yana commented, scratching her head and adjusting her headband softly, "I didn't really know what they were until after a few days in the Digital world. I don't know if they're all like Jeremiah but i defenitely don't trust them after I saw what he did... He acted as if... Digimon were mere tools that could be disposed of at will. I can only hope they're not all like him."

In the meantime, Ari just giggled at the rare sight of a cute, cat like Panthermon. She would pet his head, whispering soothing words, "Rest up~ You have a big fight ahead..."

Panthermon let out a almost soft growl like a purr as the gatomon gingerly petted him. Meanwhile, Zachary was surprised to hear what Yana had learned. Zo had attacked another tamer in an attempt for a competitive edge? His heart broke a bit, to know the cute girl he met and that Panthermon had befriended as well... became some sort of powermad tamer. He was speechless, even more so when he learned that Jeramiah was a part of some police force-- and how he disregarded digimon life like that. This tournament was becoming a real nightmare. 

"I... I can't say I feel any different, or corrupted. I have no clue why. Maybe its because Panthermon's nature is that he is kind of a darkness creature to begin with," Zachary said, wondering a bit as he looked to Pantherm. "Thing is... I told you before I sort of 'dreamed him up', right? Well Panthermon when I designed him, was to be a warrior of darkness. Or rather, a good digimon with dominion and power over darkness. Darkness that used to fight evil... does that make any sense?" Zachary asked, trying to get a better way to say how Panthermon's nature was to be the ultimate 'darkness slayer' almost.

That said, Zachary looked at the fight pairings and saw he was going to fight Jerimiah next. A gulp escaped him and Panthermon looked up to see it. "Well, that's that. It was nice knowing you..." Zachary said with a touch of sarcasm.

Panthermon soon stood up and turned to Zachary with a stern look in his eye. "Don't start giving up just yet. He may be strong and have a good share of abilities we might not possess. But power alone does not win fights." Panthermon said. "You know as well as I do, a fight is determine by strategy as much as raw powers or abilities. Even with a disadvantage, we can easily counter it if we use our heads. Besides, unlike Yana... you can give me more power than the divivice alone can provide. I am not the least bit worried we can make it out of this in one piece. "

"I hope your right, buddy," Zachary smiled at Panthermon, and gripped his digivice.

At that time, Panthermon's body glowed. "Panthermon... Digivolve to--- MYTHOLOMON!" the glow grew brighter and his form shifted-- becoming larger, and he soon emerged as the much bigger, flaming-winged panther with the jewel and armor on his body. Turning around, Mytholomon looked to Yana and Ani and nodded to them.

"Wish us luck out there. " Zachary said, mustering up a confident smile. He waited to see Yana's words and hope he could give this Jeramiah a fight to make the crowd's opinion change.

Apparently Zachary didn't feel any different... Yana wanted to feel relieved, she wanted to relax and sigh that at least another one of her friends hadn't been haunted like like, but she knew she couldn't. Even though Rei showed obvious signs of her taint, the same signs Yana registered whenever she acted different, it was impossible to say that anyone would feel the same way. His comment about his partner being a creature of darkness did set off some alarms: He was like kuro then...

"Yeah... You mentioned that.", she nodded; even now it was hard to get her hand around a human creating a digimon out of the blue, "Like a dark Knight then...?", crossing her arms, Yana pondered if that was the idea he was getting at. He didn't get a chance to answer this as he was soon comfronted by the match ups for the quarter finals, and Yana gasped at his opponent, "J-jeremiah...!!"

Zachary was equally frightened even behind his sardonic humour, but Yana didn't bring herself to chuckle, or even have time to reprimand him: Panthermon beat him to the chance. Seeing the duo muster up resolve for the coming fight like that inspired her. Nodding resolutely, "Good luck!"

"See you in a few~!", Ari waved them off

Well then... Time to watch the fight!
