PERSONALITY Kotone is a young woman that knows what she wants and doesn't let anyone stand in her way of getting it. Decisive and confident, she waits for no one when it comes to reaching her goals and is very much independent. Relying on other people is something she loathes to do when it comes to taking action, often finding others a hindrance due to her abrasive and intolerant personality. However, she does react well to those who care competent, and would make a decisive leader should the situation arise- she's a strong advocate for taking the initiative. The girl is far from being unintelligent. Besides receiving very good grades in school academically, Kotone is adaptable, observant, and quick on her feet in most situations. Socially, some people don't find her to be especially good company. Being opinionated, sardonic, and brutally honest - often to the point of being rude- has hurt many of her relationships. She is often terribly inconsiderate to the feelings of others and is well aware of that, but doesn't feel the need to correct or change herself. In fact, she typically keeps herself emotionally distant from even friends- talking about her feelings leaves her deeply uncomfortable, and because of that would much rather smother her hidden desire to become closer to people. As a proud individual, emotional vulnerability is something she fears deeply. She has a difficult time letting go of negative emotions, which manifests itself with impatience and frustration- Kotone would much prefer to snap at people rather than confide in them. SKILLS FLAWS ● Courage: Kotone simply refuses to let herself be afraid, even if she is very much so. She hates the feeling of fear, and will always do her best to shake it off and do what needs to be done. ● Logic: She is a logical and straightforward thinker, and- at least in circumstances that don't involve her personally- she's quite good at resolving disagreements and is blunt about telling people how to do so. ● Games: Kotone is naturally talented at all sorts of video games- her favourite strategy, if possible, is the "quick glass cannon" approach: strike hard before the enemy even knows what hit them, all or nothing with one strike. ● Outward Confidence: Public speaking? No problem- no stuttering, speak clearly and evenly. Approach someone potentially threatening? No problem- head up, straight back, look them right in the eye- showing fear is not an option. ● Bilingual: Half-Japanese and Half-"American", Kotone learned English from her Caucasian father and spoke it at home throughout her childhood. ● Physical Ability: Kotone speaks as if she were big and strong, but she is actually quite nonathletic. While she doesn't have a problem walking for long periods of time, strenuous activity quickly takes a toll on her, and forget about physical struggles- she simply doesn't have it in her to win in most cases. ● Intolerance: As mentioned, Kotone is generally intolerant with other people. She isn't afraid to let someone know if they're irritating her, whether it's in good fun or if they genuinely aren't able to do something. It can lead to a lot of hurt feelings. ● Worst Case Scenario: Kotone is quite mistrustful, often assuming the worst when it comes to the intentions of both friends and enemies. It takes a very long time for her to let her guard down, and in fact she would prefer not to do so at all. ● She Can Dish It Out, But: She can't take it. Kotone has her feelings hurt quite easily, but rather than show it, she would most likely retort back and try not to cry in her room later- she isn't as tough as she likes to put on. ● Rash: Her desire to quickly make decisions can get her into trouble- often, she reacts too quickly, not leaving enough time to think things over thoroughly. APPEARANCE Kotone is no typical "kawaii" Japanese girl, thank you very much. First of all, she isn't even fully Japanese, and you certainly won't find her wearing miniskirts and heels on her days off. Unlike many girls her age, she is for the most part indifferent about her appearance, preferring not to wear makeup and keeping her dark hair short and manageable. She does take care to dress sharply and cleanly however, with a subdued sense of boyish fashion. Cold grey-blue eyes peer out from underneath a blue hat, is worn whenever possible. She's not by any means large, and most people would actually describe her as "small", much to her chagrin- the girl has genetics to blame for her somewhat delicate hands and slight frame. Kotone has done little to work on her physical ability either, so don't expect her to run fast or jump high. INVENTORY ○ Stylish Blue Hat - Don't touch. ○ Cellphone - Now obsolete with newer versions available, but she doesn't particularly care. ○ Wallet - ID Cards, Money, and credit card for emergencies only. BIOGRAPHY Being born a "halfie" in Japan didn't make life easy for Kotone. While some were impressed with her fluent English skills at an early age, being somewhat unique in appearance brought on bullying from her peers throughout her life. Teachers that just wanted to go home at the end of the day did little to help her, while her parents were either both out working or fighting with each other to help. And so, as a young child, Kotone was left to her own devices. She had just a few friends and distanced herself from her bullies as much as possible. Through trial and error, she figured out a few defensive strategies- not react at all and hide the hurt, or hurt their feelings right back. When her dad left to go back to America, Kotone knew he wasn't coming back. She and her mom moved to a smaller apartment in Tokyo, where they would live until present day. Despite her hurt, she tried not to think to think too hard about it- crying about it wouldn't make him come back, and she had enough problems at school to deal with. It was at this time she abandoned her legal surname and began to use her mother's surname in introductions. Unfortunately for her, harassment in middle school only got worse. Not only did she look different than everyone else, but by this point she had become somewhat of a loner, rude and prideful now just by defensive habit. Still, eventually she did make friends with a group of other girls- they pressured her into hanging out with them and she gave them a chance, only to be cruelly betrayed. It's an incident Kotone prefers not to speak of, but it's powerfully embedded in her memory- it solidified the mold that made her the young woman she is today. She swore to herself not to be so weak again, that she would not let herself be picked on and she would be confident and cool- no one would be able to get to her if she didn't let them... or at least, that was the plan. So far, so good.

PERSONALITY Like a dog, Tosa is fiercely loyal and will do anything for her master. She is extremely eager to prove her strength to Kotone, and is quick to whisper violence, mischief, and revenge in her tamer's ear. However, at the moment she doesn't mean any serious harm- it's just that all she thinks about is Kotone and wants to please her. Because she's so fresh out of the egg and idolizes her, it's Kotone's influence that drives her to think about such things. BACKGROUND Being so fresh out of the egg, Tosa has little memories to speak of. The human world is a strange and scary place for a baby digimon, so Tosa quickly went into survival mode to search for her partner, which meant mostly blowing bubbles at stray cats and small dogs.

PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ FLEXIBLE - Essentially being just a blob of slime, like many fresh digimon, Tosa is flexible enough not to be hurt badly in the event of being thrown about or squished, as long as it's not too badly. ATTACKS ○ BUBBLE BLOW - Blows bubbles at the enemy made of the same toxic material as her body. Not all that damaging, but can cause nausea.

PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ MULTIPURPOSE EARS - As a Pagumon, Tosa's ears have multiple functions- she can fly at low levels or use them like one would use hands. ATTACKS ○ BUBBLE BLOW - Really the same as her fresh attack, just a teensie bit stronger as an in-training digimon.

PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ PURPLE FOG - At will, Tosa can continuously breathe out fog to cover the are with a dark mist. This makes visibility difficult. Affects rookies and under. ATTACKS ○ FRIENDLY FIRE - Shoots a single fireball at the opponent from her mouth. Will take a moment to charge up with a large inhale. ○ FLUFFY ATTACK - Tackles the enemy at full force- nothing more, nothing less. ○ PURPLE HAZE - An extension of Tosa's Purple Fog ability- the fog that Tosa breathes out becomes poisonous to all who breathe it in, friend or foe. Can only be used once per thread and lasts at full effect for two posts before only having a weak effect on the third, then fading out to regular fog after that.
