Paradise in the sky, That's what many believed white gold city to be and that's where the trio's search for the power to defend the world had brought them. Once the trio used Renae's Halsemon form to fly up to the city they decided to stick it out in rookie form for the time being. They couldn't help but be an aw at the sights they were seeing. This city had to be the most beautiful place in all of the digital world. It was filled with different types of Holy digimon like Patamon's angemon's and even angewoman. They couldn't afford to be distracted however! They had to stay focused on their mission which was finding the king of all treasure, the golden digi-egg of miracles.
"Alright you two, we need to stay focused and be on our best behavior. This is the purest place in all of the digital world and if the rumors are to be believed this is where the leader of the entire digital world Jupitermon resides. We can't screw this up! I refuse to screw this up!"
Adam then pulled out his digivice which locked onto the eggs signal and took off running as fast as he could on the solid cloud ground. As their tamer ran as fast as he could,Remy and Renae took off after him looking at one another as they did, their feet pressing lightly on the ground as they quickly caught up with him so that they three of them were running in a line.
"I've never seen you so passionate about a treasure hunt before sweetie! What's gotten into you?"
Adam just grinned at his female digimon as he followed the signal on his digivice through the streets. He truly didn't have much of an answer for the motherly digimon. It was something about being in this place that seemed to fill him with energy. As he ran he looked at Remy with a smile.
"You ready to golden armor digivolve?"
Remy just nodded with a grin as the trio reached the building where the powerful signal was coming from. It was a large cathedral looking building. Seeing this Adam removed his hood and the trio opened the doors together. The Cathedral was huge with large pillars and pues and in the very front of the room sat a large alter. On the alter sat what they had searched for, the golden digi-egg. Adam just grinned and smiled and walked up to it, Remy following him. Once they reached the alter Adam took hold of the golden digi-egg and tried to pull it free but it wouldn't budge. Instead of getting angry like Remy seemed too, Adam just looked up through the colored windows as the sun shined through. Adam just sighed and looked back at his digimon.
"Guys? Do you mind giving me a few minutes alone?"
Before Remy could protest Renae walked up behind her brother and took his paw in hers and nodded at Adam.
"Take all the time you need sweetie."
Remy seeing his tamers emotional face, nodded and smiled.
"Go for it man. We can worry about the egg later."
The two digimon then walked out of the cathedral leaving Adam by himself. Once his digimon were gone, Adam sat down in one the seats and just bowed his head. He usually wasn't much for faith and believing in a higher power but with how crazy things had gotten it began to make the young wild boy double guess himself. He had seen digimon die and be reborn, he was in a world full of legends and he was in a city rumored to be watched over by a god like being and with the world going into disarray Adam decided that maybe instead of actively hunting for power and trying to force things to go his way maybe it was time for him to ask for a little help.
"I don't know if anyone is listening or if you even care...but my mom and my dad used to tell me that if you worked hard and did the right thing, the person watching over us all would sometimes grant miracles and take care of us. I used to believe in making my own fortune through hard work and struggle but..I recently met a woman who helped me realize that I have been selfish. I have been making excuses for why I haven't reached out to my mother and father when in fact it was just me. I have been scared for the longest time that they wouldn't want me how I am now."
Adam kept his head bowed as tears began to slowly flow from his eyes and down his cheek. He was so absorbed in his thoughts that he didn't hear Remy and Renae open the large Cathedral doors to check up on him. As the young boy cried he couldn't help but picture his crying parents wanting their child back.
"I don't know if anyone can hear me but please help me! I have been torn between my two homes for so long! This world has been all I have known for the longest time and I'm scared to leave it in it's time of need! Please if someone is there, help me get the power I need to save this world so I can answer my parents prayers and return to them! Please help me with this miracle. This is all I ask, I don't want fame or money..just the ability to save both my homes!"
As Adam bared his soul and was finally honest with himself, the golden digi-egg of miracles began to glow with a bright golden light filling the cathedral. This caused Adam to stand up and walk up to the alter where he gently put his hands on each side of it.
"I don't know if anyone is listening but from the bottom of my heart, thank you."
Remy and Renae then walked up behind their tamer and put their paws on top of his causing him to smile back at them. They then lifted up the egg together causing it to glow once more as well as Adam's digivice. He just smiled and took a deep breath.
"Golden armor engerize!"
Once he spoke the words, the golden digi-egg of miracles joined it's twin inside of Adam's digivice and then both golden eggs shot out two golden beams which hit both digimon causing them to be swallowed up by golden orbs.
"Renamon golden armor digivolve to!..Magnamon!"
"Renamon golden armor digivolve to!..Rapidmon!"
Once both digimon were released, they put their hands on their tamers shoulder and Adam just smiled at them.
"Together we can grant everyones miracles."
(Takes place right before the Jupitermon plot thread)
