they all got the same heartbeat, but her's is falling beind Patch gripped his claws into the soft loamy dirt, before averting his golden gaze up towards the new DNA digimon. He gave a curt nod before turning his sights on one of the last Floramon. He hissed, his lips curling to reveal his sharp teeth. He launched himself forward once more with a cry. "Neko Scratch!" His front paws wheeled forward, scratching into the flower-like Rookie. He flicked his tail out, letting it curl around the Floramon's ankle and yanked forward. The flower fell forward with a yelp. As it looked up, it would be met with Patch's molten gaze. "Cat's Eye," he would hiss in a sultry voice. Addi glanced over at Adam, blue eyes wide and alarmed at the display of violence going on before her. While Adam seemed proud of his digimon fighting, Addi clutching her digivice tight to her chest as her eyes darted between Patch and his opponent. "Patch..." she whispered breathlessly. Patch dodged an oncoming attack, skidding around the other Rookie before flashing his claws once more. A stream of data surged from the spot where the Floramon had been standing, leaving Addi staring in shock at the spot where her Digimon stood, eyes closed as he absorbed the floating bits of data. As the fighting continued,Adam noticed how uncomfortable the violence was making his friend. He looked down at her with a worried look and then had a realization while watching Patch absorb a fallen digimons data. Adam and his digimon had gotten so used to having to fight for their lives that they had stopped being all to worried about all the violence they had to commit in their wake. Addie was new to this world though and had yet to see the horrors that they had. Not wanting her to have to see any more of it he pulled out his digivice and spoke into it softly.

"Remeane pull back! Scare them off but don't hurt them anymore. They only attacked us because we are in their territory I bet. There is no need for this. End this now."

The DNA digimon nodded and just silently stepped in front of Patch to keep the young rookie from attacking any more of the floramon. They then looked back at the young rookie and shook their head and then pointed a claw at Addie who was rather shaken up by the whole experience.

"We're sorry Patch and Addie. We have been fighting for so long that we just expect one to break out. We never meant for either of you to see such violence at least not from us. We hope you can forgive us."

The DNA digimon then turned back to the Floramon with a cold look on their face.

"This young human girl has chosen to spare your lives even though you attacked us unprovoked! We now give you this chance to leave with your lives. Now be gone!"

As the gruff but sweet voice of the combo digimon rang through the air it created another orb of energy in it's hands and then jumped up into the air.

"Static force!"

Unlike last time when they launched the attack the dna digimon just fired the blast down at the ground in an attempt to scare off the floramon. When the digimon landed they walked over to Addie and knelt down on one knee as if they were a knight bowing to their princess who they were charged with protecting.

"Can you forgive us?"

Adam rubbed the back of his head with a apologetic look in his eyes.

"Yea me too, can you forgive me? We are just so used to having to defend ourselves..we didn't stop to think about how the violence would bother you. I'm sorry Addie please don't hate us!"

Adam bowed his head in shame hoping that he hadn't lost his friend because of his thirst for battle.

Adam couldn't help but blush as Addie hugged him but at the same time he couldn't help but feel a bit sad. She was so cheerful and sweet to be around and yet he had introduced her to such violence and now she was choosing to leave. As Patch said that fighting was what he was meant to do Remaene shook their head standing up once more. They then walked over to the young rookie and put a paw down softly on his shoulder.

"Fighting doesn't have to be your only purpose for living anymore. Yes you must fight to keep your tamer safe but now that you two are together you don't have to live a life of just fighting anymore. Our purpose as partnered digimon is to make your tamers feel safe,loved and happy. It doesn't have to take shape in the form of fighting."

The DNA digimon then split back into two in their rookie forms and walked over to Addie, both looking rather sad to see her go. As they watched her put on her backpack, the twins couldn't help but throw their arms around Addie in a furry group hug. They let the hug last a second before they pulled away, both trying to smile.

"You better not be a stranger. We can fly and will come looking for you."

"You be safe sweetie, we will be thinking of you. You're always welcome to travel with us."

As his digimon said their goodbye's,Adam felt his heart ache a bit as his friend got ready to leave. He decided to just walk up to her and return her hug with a warm gentle hug of his own. When he let go he held up his digivice.

"If you ever need us we are just a call away. If you are ever in danger or just wanna hang out don't hesitate to call us."
