PERSONALITY Mayumi, or Mayu, as she prefers to be called, is usually all sunshine and smiles. Typically she is cordial and cheerful, if somewhat shy. When meeting new people, she often speaks with a small voice and mild stutter until becoming comfortable with them. While she enjoys people, this young lady would much rather be the background friend than the one leading the pack. Rarely ever is a frown seen on her face, even when clearly hurt. The girl tends to bottle up her feelings, opting to keep negative emotions inside her own mind. Despite being outwardly cheerful, her inner thoughts are often angry or fearful, perhaps even sad or guilty. Not only that, but they are easily triggered by the smallest things. At times she feels overwhelmed by this, but will almost always do her best not to show it, even if her attempts at hiding it are poor. If pushed, however, another side of Mayu comes out. Give her a reason, even a petty one, and she will make every attempt to make your life a little more miserable. Her attitude toward those that anger her is not to fight back, but is to get malicious- she could drown in the satisfaction of a successful sabotage. When masked by her Digimon form, Mayu feels relaxed, and with "Command"'s guidance, her personality becomes something entirely different. The Spirit of Surveillance becomes her strength and guardian, something she can rely on to help her manage her emotions and steer her in the right direction. She feels relieved to be able to rely on her Spirit in that way, and is content to follow the recommended directions. In Digital form, she takes on a primarily serious and silent temperament, only speaking when necessary- Command is stingy with information, viewing it as an extremely valuable commodity. Little should be said without some sort of price tag attached.
APPEARANCE A young lady at high school age, always seeming to have a smile on her face. Long hair is neatly tied back at the sides, but is mostly allowed to grow long down to her waist- bangs are cut and styled short and evenly, with a break in the middle. Mayu is slightly plain-looking, of average height and weight, but pretty all the same. While the girl's smile isn't a good indicator of her emotions, her eyes are- they glisten with unspoken emotion, and while she might not verbally speak her true thoughts, they speak volumes as to what she is really thinking. INVENTORY ○ SNACKS - Mayumi is always carrying some sort of snack with her whenever possible. All of her workstations and personal bag are well stocked with snacks and other instant foods. ○ CLOTHES - A change of plainclothes is always handy, just in case. BIOGRAPHY Mayumi was born in Tokyo, Japan to a family that consisted of herself and, Mr. and Ms. Kitano. Her family was your average middle class folk, her father working long hours at the office and her mother an elementary school teacher. She was always shy and sensitive, and was sometimes teased for it. However, she usually got along well with other children, and other kids and teens as she got older. She never had a boyfriend, nor any real best friend to speak of. But she was content being the decorative friend in the background, playing computer games in her spare time, and just living peacefully from day to day. But walking home in the dark one day from school at age 16, she was abducted. She'd been missing for two weeks. They got her back, of course, but not all in one piece- as what might be expecting, the girl wasn't quite the same after that. She tried to be, but everyone could see that there was something... off, about her, after that incident. She'd always been somewhat shy, but seldom angry or overly emotional. They never found the culprit, and Mayumi refused to speak of what happened. She had no desire to share her experiences with anyone, and just wanted life to go back to normal. But besides the obvious mental wounds she carried from her abduction, she brought something else back, too. A strange device, without explanation. She took it everywhere with her, sometimes attaching it to her phone or bag as a keychain, sometimes carrying it in her pocket. She was always extremely careful not to lose it- it became a safety blanket, of sorts. Unsympathetic and unknowing of what happened to her, some girls in Mayu's class began to bully her in her senior year. Opting not to burden her parents or teachers with the problem, she kept it to herself. APPEARANCE The Spirit of Surveillance has no solid physical form or body, but instead manifests itself as an overlay over Mayu's vision when in Digimon form. It appears to think independently of Mayu, advising her through different situations with "on-screen" robotic text. Mayu refers to the Spirit as "Command", and may occasionally speak to it directly. DESCRIPTION The Spirit of Surveillance hungers for information, and is never satiated. It desires to know all and see all, constantly gathering and analyzing information for its own storage and purposes. This Spirit sees information as power, which it desires ravenously. The Spirit is extremely self-preserving, and will do anything to avoid destruction. As such, it typically advises Mayu to avoid combat when possible. All odds and situations, worse and best case scenarios are analyzed to give itself the best possible outcome. It also has very little sense of morality, signaling Mayu to cheat or do other dubious activities if deemed beneficial. PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ GEARED UP - Commandramon is fully equipped with tough armor designed to help her withstand blows. General impact damage and elemental damage are both reduced by 20%. ATTACKS ○ M16 ASSASSIN - Holds down the trigger on her assault rifle, firing off three bullets. ○ DCD BOMB - Pulls a small grenade off of her armor that can be detonated at her will. Has a 10 meter radius at detonation, with the center point causing the highest amount of explosive damage. Only one of these bombs may be out at a time, with a two post cooldown. ○ PIXEL CAMO MODE I - Mayu all but disappears, the pixels on her body ( including her eyes ) changing to match exactly with her surroundings. This makes her undetectable by the naked eye, but does not change her body in any other way, and all attacks are still effective should they strike her. Using any other attack while hidden will cause her to become visible again. PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ ANTENNAE SENSORY - Stingmon is extremely good at detecting others through vibrations in the air. Should others come within a 40 meter radius of her, she'll be able to sense their precise location without the use of sight or sound. ATTACKS ○ EXO SHED - Creates a decoy of herself by shedding her exoskeleton. The decoy- controlled by Mayu- can move and fly short distances, but cannot attack or talk. It is paper thin, crumpling on contact. In addition, shedding her exoskeleton removes any physical status effects afflicting Mayu, such as burns or freezing. Only one Exo Decoy may be out at a time. Automatically dissolved after two posts. ○ SILENCED STING - Using the spikes on her arms, shoots rapid-fire stingers at the opponent. The stings themselves are painful, but not inherently damaging on their own- but their venom is. Each turn that passes for five posts, the venom becomes more potent, painful and draining, becoming near debilitating up to champion level digimon by the final post. After the five posts are up, poison effects fade rapidly but may remain for a while longer at a very minor effect depending on the level of the target- at this time, the enemy may be poisoned again. Firing off these stingers is entirely silent. One post cooldown, results do not stack if more than one stinger strikes the target. ○ PIXEL-CAMO ALT-MODE I: PHASMID - Mayu nearly disappears, the pixels on her body ( including her eyes ) changing to match almost exactly with her surroundings- it's more of an advanced form of translucency than complete invisibility. This means she can be seen with the naked eye if one looks closely enough, particularly if she moves. Attacks may be used during the time cloaked, but will increase visibility by 25%. This does not change her body in any other way, and all attacks are still effective should they strike her. Can be used for any number of posts up to four, but must cool down for an equal amount. ○ SWARM ENGAGE - A diversionary attack that summons a hoard of stinging insects, their direction controlled by Mayu. Relentlessly stings the foe for two posts, causing painful swelling and welts as well as obscuring vision. The swarm is able to split into any number to attack multiple targets, though this will decrease their effect. It would still be quite painful even if the swarm was smaller, though. PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ SCOUT MONOEYE ANALYSIS - Each Digimon, ally or enemy, is immediately analyzed for strengths and weaknesses, giving Mayu a base 20% offensive bonus to every Digimon on the field, separately. For each turn that passes, more information is constantly gathered, increasing her defense by 10% for each Digimon, again counted separately. Maximum stats from this passive per Digimon are 20% offensive boost and 120% defensive boost. ATTACKS ○ RIOT CONTROL - Throws a grenade that detonates on impact, releasing tear gas into the air that affects both humans and Digimon, even leaking inside armors. Mayu of course, is excluded from these effects. Like tear gas in the real world, it irritates membranes and causes symptoms such as extreme coughing, crying and blindness, and difficulty breathing. Essentially, it fully stuns and blinds those who breathe it in for one post, though residual effects will remain on field for three posts before mostly dissipating. Inorganic Digimon, such as some Digimon from the Metal Empire family, may or may not be affected. Must cooldown for three posts. ○ SURVEY BUG - Sends a mobile robotic insect as surveillance in difficult-to-reach areas. This insect is controlled via the Spirit of Surveillance's visual overlay. It skitters around the ground like a spider, but can jump short distances. Due to its tiny size, it can easily go undetected in most situations, but if compromised, Mayu is able to trigger detonation which does very little at all, other than destroying the bug. At the most, it might cause a burn as if one were splashed with oil from a hot frying pan, even on a human. ○ PIXEL CAMO MODE II - Sealsdramon's Pixel Camo has been drastically enhanced. Same as in Commandramon form, Mayu disappears entirely, and can't be detected at all- not by the naked eye, heat, sensors, or movement. As well, only Digimon with especially exceptional hearing will be able to hear her movements. Again, she may still be struck by attacks, and using any other attack while hidden will cause her to become visible again- the only exception to this is Death From Behind, and instead she will become visible after that attack is complete. Can be used for any number of posts up to five, with one less than the number used as the cooldown. ○ DEATH FROM BEHIND - An attack dealing a large amount of damage, intended to assassinate opponents. May only be used during Pixel Camo Mode II, and will break invisibility. Appears behind the opponent, striking their analyzed weak point.
