Degas yelped as the cat turned and attacked him. He sat up afterwards a disheveled mess. Not quite what he was hoping for but he did like it rough. You are a total pain in the ass. He shrugged.

He guess he came on too strong. Something he had a tendency to do he guessed. He sat there a moment more his head slightly tilted as he looked after panthermon. He wanted to cuddle him again sometime. Something told him not today though. He'd have to catch him some other time when he didn't look s irritable.

Honestly you really do have a death wish. What was death but the end to life. He didn't really care if he died. So long as he went out with a bang.

Degas got up and brushed himself off. All's well that ends well. Seriously. What he got out alive didn't he? Pretty good by his standards. Also better than a hospital.

Get back to work or I show you naked Gazimon. Degas quickly went back to work making sure everyone had the materials they needed and removing scraps out of the way. That was one image he hated more than anything. His inner demon could be a real buzz kill.

"You have a very handsome partner." He said walking up to Zachery when all was said and done. He looked over to Yana and her partner as well. "You are a cutie as well." He said smiling at the white kitty.

Gatomon... his inner demon sighed. He really knew how to irritate him. He loved it but wouldn't continue. With things done he was ready to leave.

"With all these cute digimon I can't stand it. I have to go." Degas said chuckling and heading for the entrence. "Call me sometime sweetie." He called out to pathermon just to see that annoyed stare. He laughed and motioned Gabby for his pay before leaving.

Thankfully for Panthermon, some of the baby digimon were recieving a welcome distraction in the form of Oceanis, having only just digivolved into Gummymon. The little ones were bouncing around him excitedly, eager to digivolve themselves. That may take a while though. even Oceanis was unsure how he had managed to pull it off. It had just happened. Not that the babies cared, for they were demanding him for a repeat performance. "Again! Again!"

Children, so easily entertained.

"I-I'm not sure how I did it," Oceanis tried to explain, "It just happens, you know?" The baby digimon 'awed' in disappointment. Digivolution looked so cool, and they wanted to see it again. "Can't you, like, concentrate really hard?" one of them asked, pleadingly. Oceanis sighed. These guys weren't going to stop were they? Maybe if he just concentrated, that would be enough. Try and fail and they'd give up.

"Ok, I'll try," he said, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath. He began to concentrate, concentrating on getting stronger, on changing form. He didn't expect it to work or anything, but at least he could put on a show.

And then it happened.

Light engulfed Oceanis and all of a sudden, his form began to change, growing arms, legs and a tail, gaining a defined head and body. When the light faded, no longer was there a Gummymon, but what turned out to be a Snow Agumon. The baby digimon cheered as Oceanis looked over himself, his jaw hanging slack. That had actually worked!? He couldn't believe it.

Oceanis then noticed that the children had gone quite and looked up from himself. They were all sitting around, eyes closed, concentrating as hard as they could.

Oceanis couldn't help but laugh.

Crystal flew down to the playground, and helped in any way she could, but she couldn't help but laugh as she watched the Panthermon tear into a guy who almost literally jumped onto it. She managed to fix the last step on the slide... and then she tests it herself to make sure it wouldn't fall apart if one of the little ones slid down it.

Yusuke on the other hand, after helping with the floor, had started to move the furniture in to the building, and since the furniture was somewhat smaller is size, he was able to do it mostly himself.
He just finished setting a chair down when his phone beeped at him. "Oh, great... It's 6PM at home. Their gonna be worried about me." he says to himself as he went up to Gabby, about this time Crystal came inside and remarks "Wow, it looks as good as new!"
"Gabby, is there anything else you need?" the blond teen asks as he puts his phone in his pocket "I could go get something from my world and bring it here if you need it."

"Alright, you deal with the slide, ill see if I can make some Monkey bars!", Yana answered, grabbing some metallic rods, needing the help from some of the other workers to bend and weld them in place. But after a good bit of effort, she finished her build, and one by one so did Zack, Degas, and everyone else. Yana finally wiped the sweat off her face as both her and and Ari were done with her work. She couldn't help but ponder on Zack's story, however... Seemingly the reason he was so good with cards was because he was actually brought into the digital world thanks to a strange blue card... His Digivice was similar to Haru's, maybe her story was similar? She made a mental note to ask her later... The argument between the snuggly Gazimon and Panthermon defenitely served to entertain the babies some more, most of whom cheered for the latter - who up until now had begrudgingly allowed himself to become a playground - while the former shooed them away more often than not. That said, it wasn't as if Gazimon didn't have his own fans among the kids, he most certainly did, they were just fewer in number. "No need", she answered Panthermon, "We're finished, the kids have better things to play with!" And indeed they had. Just as Ari finished saying this, all the baby digimon hurried over to their new playground, just as Gabby was busy indoors, moving furniture around. Of course, one of their fellow workers clearly wanted a different kind of playmate, As he turned his attention to Ari, she reflexively grabbed a nearby bottle of water. "Thanks... And here, you look thirsty~", Ari teased, chuckling and offering the Gazimon a bottle of water. He could most certainly use it, in more ways than one. It was only then that Yana finally noticed Oceanis was gone, where had that gummymon gone to?! "Oceanis...! Where are you?!", she asked, visibly concerned. "There he is, dummy!", Ari pointed to the SnowAgumon, unlike Yana she had seen his final digivolution. Inside the building, Gabby, Yusuke and Crystal soon got finished with the furniture, and the Gabumon wiped her hands, proudly looking at their work, "No, you've already done more than enough!", an overjoyed Gabby answered Yusuke, filling his hands with bits, after which she quickly hurried off to pay the same amount to every other nearby tamer. And one by one everyone went their separate ways, with Ari bowing at the Daycare Digimon and waving at everybody else, "Hope to see you all again soon. I had fun working with you...!" "See ya~!", Ari waved as the duo headed off... They had done good work, and they all deserved the rest. Construction posts done!! Full rewards + bonus for everybodyyyyyy!
