HOW LUCKY WE ARE TO BE ALIVE [LEYTON/ZO]

Brennan laid on the sand, taking in the warmth that radiated from it, just taking a break before exploring more of the Digital World, at this point, he'd already discovered how to get back home, but he didn't particularly want to, this Digital World was much, much better than that excruciatingly boring school he was regularly forced to attend by law. He let out an exasperated sigh and opened his eyes, staring at the dim blue sky and slate gray clouds. Another sigh escaped Brennan's mouth and he closed his eyes, not sleeping, simply dazing. Dora the Dorumon, on the other hand, was digging around the sand feverishly, something that he wouldn't normally do if there were strangers around, but the two had found an isolated corner of the beach where they could relax in peace. After a few minutes of feverish digging, Dora had created an appropriately sized hole for him to sleep in, so he hopped inside, paced in a circle, and laid down, closing his eyes as his partner had just minutes before. The two quickly dozed off, neither quite asleep, but both extremely inattentive to their surroundings, Brennan curled up in a tight ball, and Dora right beside him, nestled in a small nest/hole/thing.

The white hair's cruiser screeched across the sands of the Coela Coast, one of his favorite songs blaring through the speaker of his phone; a mix of metal and rock blasting aloud. 

Sand clouds trailed the motorcycle as it beamed down the coast, Leyton had an overly excited smile on his. His little bike was tearing the beach up, figuratively of course. He popped a wheely and let out a pleasure filled howl. "Wooo baby, let's get it!" 

His digivice began to beep and vibrate; a tamer was near? Looking around he spotted a purple ball of flesh and a human lying on the beach, in one sharp turn Leyton made his way towards the pair. "Yo!"

"Yo!" Brennan heard someone say, and with a groan, he opened his eyes and stood up, dusting his clothes off. "Hello to you, too..." Brennan muttered groggily. As he examined the person, he realized two things, a.) he was riding a motorcycle, and b.) Brennan had seen him somewhere before. "Wait a minute..." Brennan said, his brain still trying to wake up from daydreaming, "Wait, of course I have! How could I not have remembered you? I do have a perfect memory after all... We met in the desert, not too long ago." He nodded, the full extent of his memory finally back. Right on cue, Dora woke up, saw what he supposed was a new person, and crept beside Brennan, fighting off his shyness just in case the person was not friendly.

"Who are you...?" Dora asked, before realizing he had met this person before, "Wait, I know you!" He exclaimed, waving his stubby arm. "I can't believe I almost furgot you!" Dora said, "Nice to see you!" Dora was deliberately avoiding proper nouns, for he had forgotten Leyton's name, because unlike his tamer, Dora's memory was... crappy, to say the least. He would forget his own head if it weren't attached to his neck.

Leyton sat up on his bike and slammed down on the break, stopping a few inches from his acquaintances, "Well well, Brennan and my favorite Dorumon hanging on the beach.What are the odds?"

It appeared Bren Bren had some trouble remembering the white haired shamen of suave, but Dora knew him all too well. "Hey, hey, hey," he responded hopping off of his ride. 

"What brings you two to the beach? Looking for some digi ladies?" he laughed, though he was entirely serious, some of the Digimon on this plain could pass for tens in the human world, it was unfreakin' believeable.

"Hey, Leyton." Brennan said with a wave as Leyton greeted them. Dora, on the other hand, was much more excited, shaking giddily, having someone other than the annoyingly arrogant Brennan to talk to always made Dora happily, but that didn't mean Dora didn't like his partner, he just got... sick of him sometimes.

"Yay, yay, yay, Leyton!" Dora chirped, any hint of shyness gone, after all, he was already acquainted with Leyton. Then Leyton asked if they were looking for digi-ladies, and then laughed. Dora laughed as well, and Brennan simply smiled, laughing wasn't really his thing... "Well..." Dora started, "We're not particularly looking for digi-ladies... but I'm not saying we'll complain if we find any!"

Dora seemed as though he was finally done talking for a few seconds, so Brennan took the opportunity to try to get a word in edgewise. "Say, Leyton, what're you doing around these parts?" Brennan asked, "Are you looking for digi-ladies?"

Digiadies? Well wouldn't that be illegal for him? Meeeh, he'll stick to the ladies of ring bound, there were three after all his odds were great. 

These brothers really were new to the digital world, they ain't even try to assess if Leyton was a friendly brother or not, just chummy, chummy, Dora of course was okay, and Brennan was a really good brother they were both even ring...bound... worthy.... 

"Hey do you two brothers wanna join my team?" he asked head tilted. Extending a hand he showed the duo his ring, the ring of those bound to the club. "I think you two might enjoy it, see this ring?" 

He flashed the ring to Dora, knowing that he was the lighter of the two, "It could help you two with all sorts of evolutions."

Leyton abruptly asked Brennan and Dora if they would like to join his team, flashing a silver ring with a crimson red gem. He said they might enjoy it, and knowing that Brennan would be reluctant, he told Dora that the ring would help him with all kinds of evolutions. "Wow! That's so cool!" Dora started giddily, "Joining your team would be super amazingly awesome!" Dora exclaimed with no hesitation.

Brennan, on the other hand, was not so eager to join Leyton's team, he didn't fully trust the man quite yet. "Your team, you say?" Brennan asked, raising an eyebrow, "What is this team all about? Are you deliberately avoiding giving us information about it?" Brennan asked, taking a second to take a breath, "Also, which evolutions in particular would it help us with?" He asked, wanting to know the full story before he committed to anything he could end up regretting.

Leyton gave the duo a toothy but mischievous grin. He would never give them false info; they were way too cool. "Well we're just a group of individuals who seek to help each other through thick and thin, a family unit if you will." 

He shined his ring, fidgeting with the blood stone a tad bit, damn thing was a nuisance, itched his finger like crazy. "I have no reason to like to you Bren, and honestly the type of evolution I'm talking about is dark evolution. A type of evolution acquired through sheer bad luck or even some good luck. It's amazing." 

He rubbed his chin and turned off his ride, "Imagine getting Dora to an insane level of power, it'd be hard to control but with one of these you both can control the form with relative ease." he flashed the ring once more.

"Well we're just a group of individuals who seek to help each other through thick and thin, a family unit if you will." Leyton said, it was a bit too vague for Brennan's taste, but it didn't sound like a bad group. Leyton then stated that he had no reason to like Brennan, and the he was talking about dark digivolution. It had a bad ring to it, BRennan didn't like it, but what Leyton said next intrigued him. He talked about an insane level of power, but that it would be hard to control without a ring. "Dark evolution..." Brennan repeated, "I will admit, I have absolutely no reason whatsoever to like or want this evolution, but I am intrigued. Give me more information on the group itself, Leyton, and I just might join." Brennan said, but now, Dora seemed as though he was against the idea.

"Dark evolution...?" Dora whispered, terrified, "It doesn't sound... natural, Leyton. How do you know we'd be able to control it with relative ease?" Dora asked, his voice quivering with fear.

Leyton crossed his arms and smirked, "Well our leader is hot, that's all I needed to know." he laughed at the young man's caution it was fascinating, to say the least. Warning, of course, came with interest. 

Turning his attention to Dora, the white hair noticed the poor wolf Digimon was shaken up by the top of dark evolution. Would it be a crime to lie to such a sweet Digimon? There had to be some way to get him on board. 

"Well Dora, I assure you it's safe, it even gives you a boost in power. Imagine the strongest you've ever felt and multiply it by 10, heck even 20 if you want." slicking back his hair Leyton fell into thought. 

Maybe they were still too green to join, neither of them seemed abrasive. "I mean I get it if you don't wanna join, and just so you know dark evolution is entirely optional."

Leyton assured Dora that Dark Digivolution was safe, then commented that it was 10 to 20 times more powerful than anything Dora had ever experienced. He then assured them that Dark Digivolution was entirely optional, and that he understood if the two did not want to join. This seemed to calm Dora down, but Brennan was stubborn as a mule, and refused to give in until he was provided with more information. "Alright, that is all fine and dandy, Leyton, but I still need to know more about this group. Hell, I'm pretty sure you haven't even told me what the group's named. Wait, did I just say pretty sure? I meant entirely sure. I do after all, have an eidetic memory." Dora rolled his eyes at this comment, snorting.

Leyton let out a hardy laugh, "Never mind man, you wouldn't like it." the white hair waved off the previous conversation. "So you like my new ride? Got her in the city." 

He pointed at his motorbike, "Rides like a smooth lover." he pat the seat. The bike wasn't that smooth at all, in fact Leyton was sure if he hit a curve fast enough he'd go flying off... Damn thing was a safety hazard but damn was it a sweet ride. 

HHe could probably ride her all day and never get tired.

Leyton said that Brennan wouldn't like it, and that instantly shot up both Brennan and Dora's curiosity, but they decided to leave it alone-- for now. Then, Leyton began to talk about his new bike, and how cool it was. Brennan and Dora nodded in unision, "Damn thing is pretty fine, Leyton." Brennan agreed.

"Indeed it is, that's for sure!" Dora chirped, also agreeing. Then, Brennan could contain himself no longer, he HAD to know more about this group Leyton was talking about.

"Alright, I'll bite, Leyton. How do I go about joining this group you are a part of?" Dora nodded silently, agreeing with Brennan, but not having anything to add.

A nomadic life style formed from necessity as he searched for a partner to take the light orange and pink digivice that he kept on a string around his neck and hidden under his matted fur. This life wasn't horrendous, but it certainly was not pleasant. Tate often found himself met with false hope. He'd find humans only to realize that they certainly weren't his new partner. He was beginning to think that no one could replace his old one. Eventually, he stopped assuming every human child he came across was a new partner. Over the past decades or so, more and more humans started arriving in the digital world. So, when he over heard the two young men talking, he decided to watch them from the dunes of the sandy beach. What were they speaking of? Hrm, he could only wander as he eyed them silently.

Leyton scratched the back of his neck, that was weird his use of reverse psychology worked, "Well all you need to do is go to Necropolis, look for the garden, there you'll find Claire or Walter more than likely and then just ask to join." 

The white hair cracked his neck, "but before yu think of joining how about a spar?" Leyton summoned his data bands, this time they became black.

"If you're up for it."
