PERSONALITY Anais is a calm, simple, yet outspoken and determined young commando, who nonetheless wields wisdom far beyond her years, courtesy of a long time spent in the digital world as a child. Raised by a military father, Anais reacted to the tough love with a rebellious streak, speaking out her beliefs, whims and desires without a care in the world. If anything, she inherited his pride and strong will and strove to find her own path, build her own legacy. It all changed after her first venture into the digital world. The friends she met there, the adventures she went through, it all held a deeper meaning than any experience she ever had before. When she came out, even though no more than a few hours had passed, Anais had changed a great deal. After fighting so many battles, she came to understand her veteran father like never before, relate to him even. From that point on, she'd more readily submit to her father's training, at times even seek it herself. Her determination blossomed into a hard working drive to follow Nikolai's footsteps, only ready to branch off the moment her path lead away from his: She was still her own woman. Even now, her blunt yet caring nature drives her to scolds her brothers when they get soft, using her own strength as a challenge to make them improve themselves. That said, she's not really willing to let them try and fail if she has a chance to do it herself. While off duty, she relaxes a bit, allowing herself to have fun, even if she's not nearly as wild as she once was. Anais is straightforward and single minded in the pursuit of her goals, preferring a simple approach and often trusting her gut feeling. When drunk, her outspoken nature turns into a rather short temper... SKILLS FLAWS ● Uncanny Eyesight - It might seem dubious given how her eyes are often covered, but the fact that she can still see like that should be proof enough. She typically never pulls her bangs away unless she needs to shoot something really far away or wants someone to look into her eyes. ● Wisdom - She learned and matured a lot during many years worth of time in the digital world as a child and a teenager, and learn to trust her instincts and experience. Combined with her own honesty about her own feelings and motivations, she has a good insight concerning whether others are being honest about theirs. ● Hard Worker - Her pure, unadultered focus can easily turn her into a workaholic who sees nothing but the finish line. ● Commando - Being trained by her father with the ferocity of a drill instructor, Anais knew how to fight from the moment she could stand on two feet. She excels at sharpshooting. ● Menacing glare - Anais is the kind of girl who always means what she says, and when she 'barks', she will most defenitely 'bite'. If by some reason she has to threaten someone and her eyes are visible, a determined glare filled with killing intent is often enough for most foes to back down. ● Overbearing - She is blunt, determined and domineering, especially when dealing with those close to her. She doesn't hesitate to point out mistakes in both her colleagues and relatives, quickly rushing to do things herself instead of letting others. ● Blunt honesty - Anais is honest to a fault. Nuff said. ● Tsundere - Romance is the one side of her personality that couldn't mature while in the digital world... Due to being cold and prideful, she finds it difficult to admit when she has feelings for someone, and her normally self assured, resolute speech easily turns into a mumbling mess of words. ● Poor sense of humour - Her honesty and tendency for taking things literally get in the way of a good joke. Being drunk helps, but not much... ● Her way or the High way - As a child, she was stubborn and selfish. As an adult, she's pretty inflexible. APPEARANCE Anais is a tall and statuesque young woman, with a lithe, athletic build. Aside from her light blond hair and hourglass figure, her most striking feature is without a doubt the ever present bangs covering her hazel eyes, which look cold and focused even when she's not working, even if few people ever see them... She keeps her hair loose, but sometimes ties it up in a ponytail, especially while in battle where she might need her visual acuity for sniping. SPOILER: Click to show INVENTORY ○ M14 DBR - A specially modified, semi automatic battle rifle (M14 EBR). This actually fires special BB rounds that are especially damaging to data. In the real world, only stray digimon can be hurt by it, but in the Digital world, its no different from any gun. Since it's a digital weapon, its power is tied to the wielder, being treated like a regular attack up to rookie level (weak damage to champions). It's data locked to Anais' digivice, so it will jam if anyone else tries to fire it. In the real world, she's only allowed to carry this weapon in public during a digital crisis. ○ HK Mk23 - Another specially modified weapon. This sidearm is faster to draw and aim, and its her primary weapon in a pinch. It fires the same Anti-data BB rounds as the rifle, so its damage is tied to Anais' own power as a tamer up to rookie level (weak damage to champions). Before being modified, the gun was a gift from her father when she first joined the military. It's data locked to Anais' digivice, so it will jam if anyone else tries to fire it. ○ iC DIGIVICE - Her standard issued DATS Digivice. It displays data from Digimon she encounters and allows her to enter the digital world at will. It has a bunch of other nifty but standard functions, such as beeping when another digivice is nearby, etc. BIOGRAPHY Anais was born in Moscow, to veteran soldier Nikolai Nestivedrov and his wife. Being the eldest daughter, she never experienced as much pressure to train and grow strong or even join the military. Yet being raised in a house surrounded by boys, guns, and talking of soldiers, she promptly developed into a bit of a tomboy, even if she wasn't too keen on whatever training her father put her up to. As a child, she was selfish, stubborn, and headstrong, determined to do things her way, learn things herself instead of listening to others. This simple desire to follow her own path eventually lead her to seek out something her father forbade her to do: Seek entrance into the digital world, even as a child. There, she lived many months of different, fascinating adventures, making a close friend in Lena the Palmon. Back then, Lena was the fun loving, yet level headed foil to the much wilder Anais, but as the years passed their relationship took the opposite dynamic, and Lena would end up being the one motivating her partner to let herself go and have fun more often. Regardless, she emerged from the Digital world a changed woman, with a newfound understanding of the life of a fighter, her father's life. The friends she met and yearned to protect and the enemies she strove to defeat all taught her one thing: The Digital world was as dangerous as it was beautiful, and there laid her true path in life. Though Lena followed Anais out of the digital world, the loss of her digivice made her unable to help her partner digivolve ever again, with the added difficulty that she now had to hide her new best friend from her father. This was perhaps the last rebellious act she ever had against him, as from then on she fully immersed herself in training, using the Russian Military as a stepping tone to join DATS, and be allowed to fight side by side with Lena once more without having to look over her shoulder. And eventually she did it. She hoped sudden motivation to train and learn to fight would motivate her siblings to do the same - holding herself as a rival and an obstacle for them to overcome - but alas that didn't go as expected, at least not for all of them. Regardless, once she finally joined DATS, her greatest goal of young adulthood was now complete. She was allowed to have Lena as her partner, and go in and out of the digital world at will... But the real question now presented itself: What next?

APPEARANCE PERSONALITY Lena is a playful, cheerful, happy go lucky type of Digimon. She isn't the smartest apple in the bunch, but she has good instincts and a thoroughly honest nature. Like Anais, she has great insight on other people's feelings, especially those close to her, and Anais herself even more so. If annoyed, she's far more prone to fits of short temper than her partner. She's usually pure, innocent and straightforward, but gathering data and digivolving to higher forms heightens her sense of humour and mischievous nature as well. Unless she has something to pique her interest, Lena is very lazy, quite literally preferring to vegetate over doing things. This shows a stark contrast to her more active side when adventuring, hinting to her whimsical nature. BACKGROUND Lena first met Anais as a Tanemon, more than 10 years ago. The two, together with a few other children and digimon travelled the Digital world, going through all sorts of adventures; some fun, others less so. They stopped a evil digimon from heading into the real world on more than one occasion, but after all those years worth of time adventuring, the children eventually had to go back. Though Lena had digivolved as far as Ultimate form when Anais had her crest, returning to the real world cost all the children their Digivices, and with them the power to make their partners digivolve. Even worse, in order to stay with Anais, the two girls had to face a far worse foe than any evil digimon: Anais' father. He wasn't too keen on having "stray" Digimon stay in the real world, much less at his own house. Thus, Lena hid in the garden, while Anais took up gardening to spend time with her best friend. Eventually, she became a full flegded DATS agent, and Lena was formally allowed to stay with the human girl as her partner. That day, their adventures would begin anew.

Recovers 5% Health each turn while under the sun. ATTACKS ○ SEED CRACKER - Spits seeds at the opponent in order to distract it and buy time to escape.

Recovers 5% Health each turn while under the sun. ATTACKS ○ STICKY BUBBLES - Tanemon Spits out out sticky bubbles of pink sap. Due to the stickyness, these can cling to the opponent's body until pulled off - being especially effective if they hit the opponent's eyes - but they don't hurt too much on account of Tanemon's level.

DESCRIPTION PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ PLANT NUTRITION - Due to its plant Physiology, Palmon can recover health in the sunlight and/or when its root-like feet are grounded, due to deriving sustenance from both. Recovers 5% Health while under the sun and 5% when grounded. ATTACKS ○ POISON IVY - Strikes the opponent with its Ivy like fingers. If she focuses this attack on a single opponent, she can use the Ivy to bind it and paralyze it, but only if that opponent is Rookie level or lower. ○ SLEEP SPORE - Shakes its leaves to put an opponent to sleep for two turns, unless woken by an attack. This normally affects a single opponent, unless more than one are directly clustered around Lena and inhale the spores directly. Opponents higher than rookie level won't fall asleep, but will simply be numbed and slowed for 20% speed for that turn. COOLDOWN: 1 post after effect ends. ○ INGRAIN - Lena plants her roots (only doable on plantable soil). This halves her speed but allows her recover 10% health for that turn.

DESCRIPTION PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ PHOTOSYNTHESIS - Due to its arid plant Physiology, Togemon's ability to derive nutrition from the sun has been greatly enhanced. She recovers 10% Health each turn in regular sunlight, 5% Health in cloudy sunlight, and 15% Health under an arid desert sun. ATTACKS ○ PRICKLY BANG BANG - Togemon hardens the thorns all over her body and shoots them in a single direction. It staggers if it strikes at point blank and hits only a single foe. ○ MACH JAB - Unleashes a flurry of punches at Maximum speed. Strikes with double speed if she focuses on a single foe and keeps her feet rooted. ○ COCONUT PUNCH - Lena winds her fists and punches with several powerful thrusts, finishing with a double fisted slam. Focusing this combo on a single foe keeps him staggered, dealing double damage if the full combo hits. COOLDOWN: 1 post ○ NEEDLE SPRAY - A repeatable and quickly executed attack in which Lena spins at high speed, hardening her thorns and shooting them in every direction.

1. Anais' weapons: all good, and very DATS-fitting, but aren't gonna be able to damage Digimon of her own level I'm afraid. We've set up a weapons shop for progressive weapons that are more damaging, but for now, these are only really going to effect Rookies, and do minimal damage toward Champs.
