"Back to the concrete jungle"

It was time for a get away for the trio and unlike all the other times they needed a bit of time off, they decided it was time to do something they had not tried to do by themselves. They were headed to the human world! They decided to go somewhere they had only been once before. They used a digital portal to go back to the human city known as New york. Unlike last time however, Adam made sure to bring a pair of flip flops and made sure his clothes were not torn so that he didn't look like a homeless savage.

Once the group arrived in what looked to be a dirty alley, Adam could hear Remy sigh from on top of his head. The male twin always hated coming to the human world because it reverted himself and his sister back to their in training forms. As he sighed, Adam just reached up and poked the digimons nose with his free hand as he used one arm to hold Renae.

"It's not that bad Remy. I just..I needed to get away for awhile ya know."

Renae then looked up at her tamer with sad eyes. He had been through so much in such a short amount of time and looked so worn out. She could see why he needed to get away. She just giggled softly and nuzzled into her tamers arms to get his attention. She then stuck her tongue out playfully at him.

"We are only gonna be here for a human day. Let's try and do something fun yea?"

Adam looked down at Renae and nodded before walking onto the side walk and began to head towards what seemed to be a shopping district of sorts. As he walked, the young jungle boy couldn't help but jump at all the loud cars and yelling people. Why was the human world so loud? It didn't take long for the trio to reach what seemed to be a large..what did the humans call it..mall? When they went inside it looked like it had multiple levels and different kinds of stores. Before Adam could ask his partners what they should do first, the digivice that Adam hung around his neck began to go off signalling that one of his friends was close by. He couldn't help but wonder who it was.

WHEN SHE WAS JUST A GIRL, SHE EXPECTED THE WORLD

This was exciting for both Juliette and Grace. Grace had never been to the human world, and Julie had never been to New York. Adam and his digimon were kind enough to invite the two to New York and Julie has always dreamed of going.

Yet when they arrived, an unexpected thing occurred. "Oh..." said Julie as she stared at the Nyaromon in her arms. "You reverted back?!" She said and looked to Adam for an explanation. His companions seemed a little annoyed, but not otherwise shocked at their reverted states. Maybe this was a common thing for digimon. "What fun thing are we going to do here?" said Grace with less enthusiasm than Julie expected.

Renae couldn't help but giggle when Juliette saw that her digimon had reverted back to her in-training form. Getting tired of Remy's figiting on top of his head,Adam picked Remy up and decided to hold onto him with his arms as he was doing his sister. As Juliette looked to him for an explanation Jack looked down at his two digimon and they just shrugged and Remy let out a loud huff which got him a paw to the head from his sister.

"Larger digimon can't maintain their forms for long periods of time in the human world. Their world is all digital meaning when they digivolve they have an infinant supply of energy to sustain them and keep them powered up. The human world isn't like that, it's more organic which means less energy to draw from. The bigger and stronger a digimon is, the more data they need ya see. So when we came to the digital world, they had to shrink down to make the trip."

When Grace asked what kind of fun things there were to do in the human world, Remy smiled and wriggled around in Adam's arms excitedly.

"There is so much cool stuff! They have tons of human restraunts and game stores and toys and a bunch of cool stuff!"

When Remy was finished speaking, Renae smacked her brother with her paw  again and then made the shhh noise with her lips before looking around and then looking at Juliette and Grace.

"Us digimon can't talk loud while we are here or the other humans will freak out. We gotta pretend to be stuffed animals or something so that we don't draw attention to ourselves."

Adam nodded in agreement.

"Renae is right. Now Juliette and Grace, what do you feel like seeing first?"

Juliette listened to his explanation with interested. "Huh. Well that makes sense," she stated after Adam was finished. Even though she believed Grace would blend in quite nicely in the human world in her Salamon form, once she opened her mouth it would be a different story. A talking dog? And a mouthy one at that? She would be snatched away from her and be experimented on like some sort of alien creature.

But she was an 'alien-type' creature, wasn't she? If it wasn't human, then it must be alien--meaning that it is not normal or average. Grace was digital even though she looked, felt, and sounded real...wasn't she?

Grace rose her eyebrows at Remy's response to her question. "Besides the food...that all sounds like children's games. I'm thinking something more... sophisticated," she said with her head held up high. Julie couldn't help but to giggle at her Digimon.

Julie nodded at Renae's suggestion and looked down at Grace. "Did you hear that?" she asked the Digimon. "Yes," replied Grace with a sigh. "I suppose I have no choice..."

The girls looked to each other in thought as Adam asked what they wanted to do first. "Sight-see?" suggested Julie while Grace shrugged at the idea. It wasn't a bad one at all.
