Hello is this the tamers union? Hi, yes this is Maildramon. I usually help deliver packages. But today I am sick and stuck in Tecton City. Think you could send a couple tamers out to pick it up and deliver it? It's going to a small shop owner. Monochromon; he's located near you guys in Overdell Plateaus. Thanks for doing it. I'm sending the bits now.

As Ryuu had received the information about the job and the payment up front. He'd scan through the list of available members and note only one free. Frowning he'd turn to his side list, one provided to him by allies and from the web when searching up mercenaries for hire. He hated to give outsiders work but if a job needed doing he'd do so. It was then he'd message his member over their chatroom.

Once Confirmed, either she was to take a friend or he was to hire another. He'd send the two selected and approved the full log. So we you two to go get and the package real quick. Details:I want you both to meet up and go meet Maildramon in Tecton city and collect the package. Once collected contact me and I will confirm this with our client and inform the destination we have the package. Once this is complete and confirmed, start heading to overdell plateaus; be mindful of random encounters and any bandits as the area gets dangerous mid day into the night. If you all drop off the packat to Monochromon's shop at Overdell Plateaus and it's still in one piece, I will see if I can't scrounge up an extra for your bits.
Meanwhile in Tecton City
As the message was sent the two would receive it nearly instantly, as the Maildramon laid groaning in it's bed waiting for the doorbell to ring for it's package. Sick it slowly nodded off. |

Right after she hung up with her conversation with Ryuu, Juliette sighed. She wasn't great with missions. For Heaven's sake she wasn't great at much of anything but getting into trouble. The last responsibility she had was a mission she, Damien, Silica, and Adam were tasked to do, Grace nearly got knocked out. Julie couldn't live with herself if she ever allowed anything to happen to her friend. They needed to become stronger, and Julie knew she was a hindrance in that goal.
Grace overheard the conversation and was staring at her Tamer with her wide, blue eyes. "Well? We're going to do it, right?" Julie forced a smile on her lips and nodded. "Yes, we will. But we need some help with this one..."

Maybe they didn't need help, but it was always a good idea to work in teams. She brought Matt along, and she was glad he was willing to assist. It was an easy mission however: How hard could it be to deliver a few packages? Julie knew all too well that if something seemed easy at first, there was always a catch.
They arrived at the door of Maildramon's and before she knocked on it she gave Matt a look. "Ready?" she asked with a grin.

Matt rubbed the back of his neck and shook off what little sleep he had gotten the night before.Jullie had contacted him about delivering a package for some Digimon up in the city; of course, when she first spoke he had hoped she wanted to do something more... Romantic, but comme ci comme ça he'd do anything for his silver-haired pal and her adorable little dog thing.
Glancing over at Julie he nodded and stretched his arms over his head, "Yep, let's get er done" he yawned. Look alive Matt! You're on your first mission! Monodramon barked from the catacombs of Matt's mind, 'How about you relax and let me get some quality time in with Julie V' he replied through thought.
Monodramon scoffed and faded into Matt's conscious, "So what are we delivering again? Or was this an excuse for you to hang out with me?" He narrowed his eyes, a smirk creeping across his mouth, he knew she'd probably laugh at him, but he couldn't help it, he had a weakness for exotic hair colors.

Deliver the Goods
As the two had arrived and rung the door bell a rather sick and sniveling digimon would get up and answer. Arriving at the door he had a surgical mask upon his face as he handed them the package. "Sorry about making you both do this. Just keep an eye out as you make your way to overdell plateaus; there has been rumors of troublesome looking digimon along the way and for the love of all that is good be careful once you get t the invisible bridge; goburimon is a trickster and a tad bit smarter then your average."
With those words exchanged and the package he'd shut the door behind him and head off to bed. It was up to them to deliver said package
While in Tecton City
As the two make their way towards the target they'd run across many suspicious looking digimon. A few rather thuggish looking as they passed eyeing the box. It was then a tiny little Mushroomon walked up to talk to the two.
"So whats in the box chief, you delivering something to someone in town?"The tiny questionable looking digimon grinned wide as he tried to stop the two questioning them about such interesting topics. But it wasn't until the tried to stop them that a Strabimon had landed swift before them tackling past stealing the package and took off running along the street running down the alley way. Once one arrives in the alley way there are several Strabimon all questionable, but only one has the box. So how will our two delivery substitutes deal with the situation? |
