PERSONALITY Wisely may look like a sweetie, but that all changes once he opens his mouth. Blunt, crass, and foul-tempered - hidden behind a stoic facade hides his inner feelings and insecurities that he left buried under his hate and self-loathing. At his core Wisely is a kind and caring person but due to certain circumstances he instead hardens his heart spitting out cruel words with his sharp tongue in order to stop himself from being emotionally hurt. This isn't an excuse as he knows he is a complete and utter jerk - but chooses to be so under fear of being considered 'weak'. In public he's cold, standoffish, and decisive with his choices not letting others persuade his thoughts and motives. However, at home with his family he is almost another person - a loving brother and son to his family - though a bit chilly - he has good intentions and is highly protective of his loved ones. When in private however, Wisely sits alone in the dark his mind now free of distractions as he tears himself down inside. Calling himself worthless, stupid, and unfit to have such a loving family. His fears are unhindered when alone and relentlessly rip his confidence down into tatters. He tells himself that doing so makes him stronger and able to face the next day - but there are times he sometimes wishes to end it. In the end there are several layers to the personae that is Wisely Sage - but even he is unsure which is the 'real' him. Yet, despite it all his heart is filled with love and hope as well as a burning courageous spirit that is just waiting to be set free. He is not wise like his namesake - he is instead a reckless, foolish, hardheaded youth who crawls around in the darkness - hoping to someday find his light. He may not be all knowing, brave, or charismatic - he will surely stumble and fall, gracelessly and without tact. But he would push through - because everyday he hopes to wake up to the smiles of his family and remember that 'things will get better".
APPEARANCE Stands at 6'0 even and weigh around 190 pounds. He's kinda on the thin side but not unhealthily so. Has pale white skin, snow white short hair, and ice blue irises. For clothing he often wears dark colors such as black, blue, and purple as well as the occasional brown, green, and red. Has a body art tattoo on his right arm as well as one over his right eye. Hoodies and jeans with skater shoes are his go-to brand of clothing has a few piercings as well - one on his upper right earlobe and another on his tongue. INVENTORY ○ D-TECTOR - His digivice, found it in his room and now has a digital ghost haunting him, great. ○ SMARTPHONE - A pretty old, cheap, smartphone with a cracked screen - still works though. ○ WALLET - Holds his money, ID, and credit cards attached by a metal chain. BIOGRAPHY Wisely Kenneth Sage was born into a broken home. The father was a dead beat who abandoned the mother after getting her pregnant for a fourth time. No longer able to deal with the 'expenses' he hightailed it out of there forcing the mother and her four children to move into Brooklyn, New York in one of the many ghettos. This was the life Wisely grew up in - as the second son and second eldest child of four siblings. Wisely grew up way to fast - some would say. Already jaded and apathetic towards the world and everyone in it barring his family. He was angry and bitter and quick to turn to violence. School didn't set him straight either as he continued to produce low grades barely scraping by as well as getting into trouble. Violence was his comfort as he often gotten into fights with other students - mostly the older kids. After another suspension his mother spent a whole month's paycheck in order to get her son psychological help. The psychologist didn't help much - but the realization that his mother would go through so much just to help him cowed him quickly. And by middle school he mellowed out quite a bit, doing a little better with his school work and staying out of trouble and fights. At home he shaped up to be a better brother - as the eldest had ditched the family once he turned eighteen. Refusing to be like his father and brother - he took it upon himself to be the 'man of the house' taking up the housework and watching his little sisters when his mom worked a late shift. His mother and sisters loved and adored him which only made him want to protect them more. There were many nights where he fell into depression and angst but he learned to bury the feelings deep inside so not to worry his family or give others a reason to see him as 'weak'. It was in his last year of high school did he come across a strange device when doing extra essay work in the school computer lab. Thinking it was some sort of weird toy he decided to give it to lost and found only to find it on his bed next to his smartphone the next day. Weirded out he went to sleep having strange dreams of a humanoid creature who called itself "Lobomon - the Spirit of Light" and how Wisely was chosen to wield it's power. He tried to ignore the dreams but eventually the spirit came into the waking world and only he could see it. Aggravated at first he wanted nothing to do with it or the digital world - he had heard the stories after all. But the spirit was persistent and managed to use Wisely's one weakness - his family. Offering the teen the power to protect his loved ones finally persuaded him to accept it's power - unaware what dangerous future he had brought upon himself... | NICKNAME Wise, Wise-Ass, Ken.
