Haru hadn't been here for the start of this mess, but certainly was there for the end of it. Once the black guilemon had been soundly beaten, and she'd made sure the unconscious girl wasn't dead, she had begun to make her way toward the spire, at the top of which had been a mechanical monstrosity of a Digimon. However, it soon crumbled beneath his weight and the beast fell to its death. It's minions scattered, and everyone seemed to take a collective breath of relief, especially Haru, who could now get a better grasp of the situation. There were people around. Humans. Digimon. She'd seen them in the chaos, but was too preoccupied to deal with them. V by her side, the blonde made her way closer to the remains of the tower in some hope of getting answers as to how or why a Digimon would do this to its own. Her curiosity seemed to be shared by a few Digimon, residents of terabyte who likely wanted to see for themselves the apparent mastermind. There was probably some closure to be had there, and with it the peace of mind of knowing the cause of this nightmare was over.
But it really wasn't, was it? That'd be too easy.
Just as soon as the locals seemed to begin counting their blessings, some battered, bruised, bleeding lunatic pulled himself from the rubble. He dramatically shouted expletives and promises that this act today was just the start. He cursed kings, rulers or something along those lines and gave the name Daichi Kumo. This Daichi Kumo claimed he was "The wrath of a land wronged" and before finally taking his leave he crypticly warned of "The Seven" were coming before flying off into the light of the digital sun. Haru watched as he became a black speck in the far distance, knowing better than to have tried picking a fight with him. Never mind his insane Digimon transformation, the guy survived what was easily a thirty story fall. He probably had it in him to punch the digi right out of her mon. The orphan used the rim of her hat the filter the sunlight out so she didn't blind herself staring at the sun, turning her head to V, asking him a thousand silent questions that he had not a single answer to, silent or otherwise.
"Dammit..." she'd curse under her breath, letting the tip of her bat grind in the dirt. She was more upset than she felt she should be. Maybe it was because this was by far her favorite place in the digital world? Whatever the case, she couldn't help but wish there was more to go on.

or a moment, Hunter wasn't certain what happened. At one moment, they were fighting the Devimon, which had promptly been deleted by Lisbeth and Annelise, the next, the Brooklyn Spire was nothing but a pile of concrete, steel beams, and broken glass. It was absolutely beyond him as to what had driven the others helping fight back against Ginkakumon to just simply blow up the damn building and damage everything around it for a large area. Did they have any idea how much money it would cost to rebuild the Spire alone? Thinking about how much the city would be paying out in repairs made the young Tamer cringe.
Alecto, who was still in her champion form as Witchmon, slowly began descending down towards her Partner. To say the Digimon was miffed, was like saying the sun was a little warm. She had wanted to fight against Ginkakumon very badly, to prove that she was superior to this apparent harbinger of doom. If he wanted to play the villain, than she wanted to show the little upstart up with a Aquary Pressure to the face.
Both hadn't expected when Ginkakumon was revealed to actually be a human Spirit Wielder, and both had been absolutely floored when the man Digivolved into, what Hunter's Digivice would attest to, a Mega-level Digimon. If this Daichi Kumo could have Digivolved to the Mega-level the entire time, then he more than likely could have destroyed everyone who fought against him and the entire city within at least a few minutes time. Alecto seethed at this information. If she had attempted to fight that monstrosity, then she may very well not be standing-errr, floating- here right now. The fact that the apparent Champion level had just been playing with them did not sit right with her. She had to get stronger and fast.
For her and her Tamer's sake.
Hunter, in the meantime, was trying to decipher what Daichi had said. The 'wrath of a land wronged'? 'Free of his prison'? 'The Seven are coming'? It all sounded very doomsday prophesy nonsense, but considering the fact the man could have destroyed them all at any time, the white-haired young man was more than inclined to believe him. Who exactly were these 'Seven', and what of this 'land wronged'? He'd have to start making some inquiries to the rest of Hades Company, and possibly around the other cities. Perhaps the Jijimon who had saved him back in the desert knew a thing or two.
Quickly sending a message to the leader of his team, Hunter mindlessly fiddled with the pocket knife in his hands, the same one he had jumped at a BlackGuilmon with. "First he invades the city, causes hundreds of millions of bits in property damage, then spouts some doomsayer phrases and flies off into the sunset... I get the feeling we haven't seen the last of that bastard."

His body felt strange, weightless, unmoving, as if it did not belong to him. It felt like many parts all at once, there was no darkness yet no form within his vision, just light. A warmth glow filled every seperated particle, as if it were telling him it was going to be ok. A flash of light, brighter than the light that had been the only thing in his vision for what felt like an eternity. How was his brain functioning. After the flash it brought darkness, not an evil darkness or a darkness brought in fear. The warmth of the glow was still present within him, yet he could not see.
The truth of it was, the twenty two year old man was unconcious, his body having reformed from the digital data that it had been transformed to upon being pulled in to his computer screen. Deep within the forest he was at rest. His ears would detect sound, fluttering of leaves, the sound of a ball bouncing against the ground. His mind, his heart, his head. They all told him one thing. WAKE UP.
His eyes fluttered open, the light stinging them, yet he managed to perserver, taking in his surroundings, his brain could not fathom what had happened. His memories told him the story, sitting at his computer, the flashing light, the feeling of weightlessness, the flash of light...and now here he was. A strange forest. Perhaps he had been sleep walking? perhaps he had ended up within the haining forest, or even the forest at the meetings of the two rivers in Selkirk. Yet it did not seem like that.
Scanning the area, his eyes drifted over the bouncing creature, the snow white head that bounced up and down all crazy like. it didn't seem to register at this moment. He continued scanning before his head snapped back to look at the odd animal. Now anyone whom knew Sebastian would know of his love of animals, he did work in the zoo. He had never once heard of nor seen an animal like this. It was so cute, yet his mind, the strange occurances. Everything frazzled him.
Hey mista, are choo okayz" the creature spoke, its vocals somewhat like an infant in terms of sound, one just able to sound out the words. So yeah a talking snow head that could speak. "AAAAAAH" screamed the man. HIs brain seemed to fry at this point and he succumbed to the sweet sweet darkness.
Yet upon opening his eyes, he would be greeted with the face of the creature directly in his line of vision. Not looking at him, but somewhat deflated upon his chest. Snoring gently away. His heart raced, but something within him halted him from screaming, or waking the adorable creature from its slumber. Instead he would simply lie there, allowing it to sleep some more. Thoughts ran through his head but logical answers all seemed to be halted. Try as he might he could not come up with anything that made sense.
He must have lay there for about an hour before the creature stirred, having stared at it for the entire time, Sebastian had come to grow fond of the strange thing, it was so frigging cute. "Oh sowwy Mista" it said as it puffed up before bouncing from his chest. Sebastian would sit up, his hair obviously a mess, sending a hand to try to comb it he would smile awkwardly, somewhat out of fear, but somewhat out of adoration for the alien. "It..It's ok, you looked...comfortable..." "Oh, i was mista, i, i been waiting, for long time for you. two hole dayz" the creature would say in a shy tone, the white around its cheeks reddening in shyness.
"What, what do you mean waiting for me?" "Yous my padner right?....yous came to get me....i beenz all alone" the creature would say, as if it could not contain itself, the creature burst in to tears. This shocked the man whom was even more shocked by his actions, instinctivly he reached over to grasp the creature, noting its sllimy body yet he would not care, he pulled it close to him yet said nothing, only holding it as it sobbed. What am i doing, why...why do i feel responsible for this...thing Sebastian would say to himself.
"So how do you know me.,,i mean you know me if you were waiting for me right?" Sebastian asked. "Nopeee, i just,,i just feel itz, yous my padner and i'm yoors. Digidestined alwayz havs padners. I is Yukimi Botamon, and yous be?" the creature asked as it tried to control its breathing. ...oookaaay, well i guess partners is better than being alone right? so until we know whats going on i guess we can be partners, I'm Sebastian, Sebastian Devaroux" the man would say.
and thus begins the story of a long and sometimes trialling friendship.
------
Having walked through the forest, the duo had exchanged stories, getting to know one another, Sebastian had learned that his new friend was a female after mistakingly calling him a dude. Yukimi had explained everything she knew about the digital world though it wasn't much given that at most she was a week old, she did have a built in memory of the Digivice, a strange device that somehow found its way in to Sebastians pocket which apparently meant that he was for sure a digidestined.
It was an interesting talk, a lot to take in too. and some things he really found hard to believe, but they continued to talk and exchange stories, Sebastian more so due to the little types somewhat limited life span. As they left the forest Sebastian would stop, seeing the ruins of the town. "What happened here?" he asked, though really he was simply saying it out loud not actually asking anyone in particular. "I dunno Sebwaton" the Yukimi Botamon located in the tamers hands would say.
Walking through the destruction, the duo would stop to help pull people and other creatures from the debris, on their walk Yukimi had explained about the digital world and the creatures, yet though keeping a cool composure, he was freaking out at helping these creatures. They all looked strange and strong. Much stronger than the floating slime ball in his hands, he walked through them as they began to shift rubble. Honestly he was in a bit of a daze that he had no clue where he had ended up. He was trying to take everything in but really. It just wasn't going as well as he had hoped.
"BASTARD" screeched the little infant within his hands, bringing Sebastian out of his daze. "HEY HEY HEY, we don't say that word, its bad, were did you even hear that anyway?" Sebastian said, his face flushed with embarrassment, for a young infant digimon her voice was sure loud. "he said it he said it" Yukimi Botamon said bouncing from Sebastians hand and bouncing to the man whom had uttered the curse word, the man with the witch like digimon. "Yous yeah youse, don't say that, bad word baddd worrrrds" the infant shouted bouncing around the man and the witch. Ugh why him thought Sebastian as he hung his head in shame walking towards the man and the witch. "I am so sorry for Yukimi Botamon, she's a little umm different" Sebastian would say, his face scarlet from embarrassment.

◄ WHEN SHE WAS JUST A GIRL, SHE EXPECTED THE WORLD She winced as she felt a warm, slimy sensation on her cheek. The sensation soon moved to her forehead and she felt little pads press against her stomach. Julie groaned and opened her eyes to a greyness. Blue eyes interrupted the view and looked at her with concern. "You're awake!" cried Grace as she smothered Julie with more 'kisses' in the form of lick. "I was so afraid you weren't going to wake up! I would have to find a new tamer but no one can ever replace you or your fabulous way of-" "What happened, Grace?" Julie interrupted as she gripped her head in pain. Grace didn't like the thought of being interrupted, but she indulged her Tamer in a story of what transpired. Julie's face grew redder and redder with each word that escaped her mouth. "That really happened?" It seems she didn't even make it to the actual battle. How embarrassing. She was useless. Why was she even here if she could get easily knocked out by a rocky Digimon? She blinked away a few tears of frustration and looked around at the mayhem and the empty space that was a building. "What...happened to the Spire?" Grace shrugged and looked around. Her eyes spotted the same girl that helped save Julie. "Don't know, but let's ask your co rescuer, with me being the main one of course." Julie got up with a wobble and made her way towards the girl and her Digimon. "Hello," she said as dizziness forced its way back into her being. "I just wanted to thank you fo- oh my," she said and lowered to the ground. Her head was pounding she felt nausea well up inside. "That's not a good sign..." Grace said in worry. Haruhi Ryuukami , Hunter Gaul & Sebastian Devaroux

60% Experience until Armor Ult 121/200 Posts | The city was a wreck. Digimon were hurt, missing, or worse, and the only defense that was mounted had been by the few timers available at the time! Wasn't the digital world supposed to have barons or knights or something?!
Hard hid her face under herhatt while V took a look around. There were a few figures scattered about in the distance, people left over from the fight, maybe looking for answers of their own. Before he could take off toward them tough, he spotted the girl Haru had tried to save. Thankfully she was indeed not dead. The Veemon tapped his tamer on the leg to get her attention, though the bright haired youth was about to get it herself anyway. The blonde turned to face her, giving her a quick once over. She looked fine. At worse she might have a concussion. If this attack was over, then she should be good, as long as trouble didn't go around looking for her... Or vice versa.
Haru just shook her head in response to the strangers thanks. "Don't. There's no need. The creature was paralyzed when I got here, all we did was finish it of- You should sit down..." Haruhi would say flatly, no real sound of concern in her voice. She wasn't the caring type after all. Sure, one could say she'd saved the girl. But Haru thought nothing of it. It was just a thing that happened. "You might have a concussion... I'm not a doctor or anything but you didn't look too roughed up, and you were unconscious when I found you... Head trauma would explain it. You feeling dizzy? Can you see all right? If your vision starts to spin, or your head starts to either hurt or feel numb you should probably get going... Also try not move around too quickly... And of course, avoid colliding into stuff." the sportswoman would say. She'd had a few concussions before and knew how to deal with them, in that there wasn't much to do about them.
"What she means to say is 'You're welcome, I'm sure you'd have done the same'," V would say with slight chuckle. "I'm V, this is Haru. You were on the ground when we got here. We lent a hand. No biggy, yeah?"
"Yeah... Hey, you don't happen to know how this all started do you? When we showed up, there was this nasty Digimon on top of the tower, and the streets were filled with black guilemon. How'd it get so bad, so fast?"

◄ WHEN SHE WAS JUST A GIRL, SHE EXPECTED THE WORLD The girl didn't seem to care one way or the other that she saved her. Grace seemed to catch on and let out a 'hmph' to her first reply. "She's right," said the Salamon. "You should have a seat here," she pointed to a flat-looking rock and brushed off the debris with her paw. Julie obediently followed the instructions and took a seat that was offered to her. She eyed the woman and her Digimon curiously and listened to her explanation. "Concussion?" she voiced aloud with worry. "That doesn't sound good either," voiced Grace who hopped onto her lap and curled onto her legs. Her head did hurt, but that was expected since she did land on it. "I can see well enough, thank you," she commented while she placed her hand on the sore spot of her head. She nodded her head at the woman's instruction of not moving too quickly and regretted the action. Their attention was turned to the blue Digimon who spoke for his Tamer. Julie smiled and Grace muttered something along the lines of 'Sounds better,' but Julie wasn't sure. "It was a biggie for me... who know where I would have ended up," replied Julie. "And it is nice to meet you both." Julie would have definitely done the same for these two or anyone else who needed her assistance. She may not be very effective on the battlefield, but she can assist in the aftermath. Haru asked her if she knew how this all happened, and Julie frowned and shook her head no. "Oww," she replied and held her head again. "We didn't get here no too long before Julie got hurt. We don't know what happened," replied Grace. Haruhi Ryuukami , Hunter Gaul & Sebastian Devaroux
