"I thought you've had enough of large trees..."

Grace wasn't wrong. Juliette was tired of wandering through trees, only if she didn't know where she was going and if she was desperately lost. Julie liked adventures, just not the tough part of getting lost. She made sure to look for landmarks and mark places as she passed them. That was one of the many servings of advice Ferghus had given them. He was very helpful and not at all harmful from Grace's initial reaction. 

"I haven't. I just don't like getting lost." She said as a matter-of-factly. Grace nodded silently as they wandered through the woods. It was a lot different than the forest they were lost in. The fauna and flower were a lot different, not to mention the change in temperature as well. It was because they were in the South Region did she feel extremely hot. She had to take off her shirt and walk around with a t-shirt because of the heat. The action would cause her grandmother fuss at her, but she wasn't here and if she was, she'd join Julie by doing the same.

"Thanks for agreeing to come along by the way," said the girl with a grin on her face. 

"Anytime. I love adventures too ya know. I get to meet amazing Digimon and humans."

Julie laughed and nodded. "That's a great attitude to have." 

Her laughing ceased as she heard a snap of a twig not too far from them. "What was that...?" She voiced as Grace grew still and alert in her arms. "I don't know..." voiced the Yukimibotamon.

Adam and his twins were so excited! They had come up with the smart idea of forming a group of heroes like the digidestined of old comprised of people from all walks of life and from all over the digital world. They already had one member signed up named Alenaii who had digimon twins like he did in the form of Terriermon and Lopmon. This made the young jungle boy and his digimon fill with hope as they jumped from tree to tree with ease. Adam had dressed himself in a new pair of cackie shorts, a thin black sleeveless shirt, his rather worn out hooded green trench coat which now had all the crest symbols in a circle on the back with the crest of light in the center. He also wore his green sided digivice around his neck and his food pouch on his hip but still refused to wear shoes. As the group jumped through the trees, Adam noticed Remy's ears moving which meant company.

Adam let Remy lead until a young human and a baby digimon came into view. Remy and Renae decided to stay up on a thick branch as Adam charged ahead a little bit closer to get a better look at them. They looked lost and scared but he could tell that they had kind hearts. Adam just smiled and let himself drop off the branch so that he would land in front of them. Once he landed he stood up with a bit warm smile on his face to show he meant no harm. He then whistled with his fingers causing Remy and Renae to drop down beside him, Renae giving a small giggle and Remy just giving a small wave. Adam then stepped forward.

"Don't worry we won't hurt you! My name is Adam and these are my digimon Remy and Renae! You looked lost so I thought we should drop down and help you. I have lived alone with my digimon in this jungle since I was eight. We know it by the back of our hand..well paws in their case. It's not very often we get tamers this deep in the jungle. You must be super brave."

Renae then stepped up and waved gently at the girl and her baby digimon.

"My family and I are like the guardians of this place but have recently been gathering others to form a team so we can protect all of the digital world. It will be like the digidestined of old. We are known as the Lightsworn. Please allow us to escort you safely from the jungle.

Remy then looked at the digimon in the girls arms and smiled a small smile.

"You're gonna grow up to be a strong one I can tell."

Julie could feel Grace shake in her arms. She gave the Yukimbotamon a stroke on the head for reassurance. Julie hoped she knew she wouldn't let the small creature pass harm's way. And besides, the boy in front of them seemed harmless-- him and his two Digimon by his side. Julie has never seen the two of them before, and she wondered just how many Digimon there were out there in the big world.

Grace decided to speak up for them. "We're not lost. We know exactly where we're going!" She said with a 'hmph' at the end. Julie shook her head with a smile and patted her Digimon on the head again.

"What she means to say is, thank you for your concern. We actually wanted to venture out here. We were lost before but we made sure to not let it happen again."

Brave? That was a word they both haven't heard regarding themselves. Julie never considered herself brave, especially due to her dislike for violence. She would run away or reason with the person before striking them in any day of the week. Grace, on the other hand, reveled in the compliment and looked up at Julie. "Maybe they're not that bad after all." 

Julie laughed at her comment and listened to the two Digimon. The first one, the one called Renae, wanted the two of them to join some sort of team.

"Team?" Julie voiced. She never thought of joining a team when she arrived here, but maybe she should consider it. This was a big world, as she previously thought: It was too large for them to take on. "I'm not sure..." she voiced and looked to Grace for her input. Grace only shrugged and looked to the both of them.

"Julie and I would like to venture more into this forest. We're not ready to go back just yet. And yes. I will grow up to be strong. Thanks for noticing." She said with a wink.

"Would you like to join us for our walk?" Asked Julie as an afterthought. Who knows: Maybe they could change their mind about joining after she gets to know them a little more.

Adam smiled and nodded when the young lady named Julie asked if they would like to walk with them. Even though he wouldn't say it out loud it was probably a good thing that Julie asked them to walk with them. Even though her digimon had a lot of fighting spirit he was still at the baby level and since the jungle was full of dangerous insect type digimon. He didn't want his new friends to get hurt. As they walked Adam heard Julie say she was unsure about the whole team thing. Adam cleared his throat and put his hands in his pockets.

"It's not just an ordinary team! The team we are forming's job is gonna be to travel all over the digital world and help digimon or humans that need us and to fight back against evil digimon like that new tyrant Rustmon and his flunkies who want to spread darkness all over the world! We are known as the lightsworn and together we will bring the light back to this world and send those evil digimon packing!

Remy smiled and patted his tamers back as he excitedly thrust his fist into the air full of determination. Remy always thought despite how childish and a bit naive his tamer could be at times that his heart was always in the right place and that with that much love and determination in his heart there was nothing that the young human boy couldn't do. Remy looked at Julie and her baby digimon.

"We are gonna be like the digidestined of legends past. They were a group of mighty humans and their digimon who saved the digital world from darkness and destruction from countless threats. Don't worry it won't be all fighting though I promise. Even though I love a good brawl sometimes a loving hand..or paw in my case is needed to get the job done. So if you aren't a fighter it's not a problem."

Renae nodded at her brothers words and ruffled her tamers spiky brown hair as he marched along just thrusting his arm up and down with excitement as if he was in a marching band.

"We met this human girl named Alenaii and her twin digimon Terriermon and Lopmon and they joined the cause to help us in our task. So what do you two think? Sound like a fun adventure?"

She liked his cause. It was refreshing to know that there was some good in this world. People, good, noble people like this boy, were needed to help keep this world and the human world at peace. Julie never thought of herself as those kinds of people. Sure, she wanted a safe place to live in and without worries and troubles, but she didn't feel capable enough of providing that security for others. 

It was kind of like the police or being a copper. She admired their jobs and was glad that people were willing to sacrifice their lives for the greater good, but Julie herself couldn't imagine doing that. She wasn't brave enough and violence bothered her. That doesn't mean to say she would do nothing if she spotted someone in trouble. It means she wouldn't willingly go out and seek danger. 

"Digidestined?" asked Julie. "I've never heard of them," she voiced and looked down towards Grace for an answer. Grace shook her head and made a shrugging motion to signify she didn't know either. "It's good to know one does not have to be a fighter to join..." she said as they continued to walk. "Your partners are very brave and noble," she said to Adam. "They'll make fine warriors and 'defenders of the light'. "

"I'm noble too!" voiced Grace as she looked up at Julie as they walked along the forest. "It sounds exciting too but..." she looked up at Julie as she trailed off. She knew her Tamer wasn't a fighter. In fact, she was looking for ways to head back to some place called 'London'. Grace didn't mind as long as she took her with her, but she knew she wasn't going to want to get her hands dirty. Grace thought like that too sometimes, but the thrill of being victorious and the center of attention won each and every time. 

"I'm sorry, Grace. I just don't know." She didn't want to put Grace in danger, either. She was still a baby and Julie grew to love the white, fuzzy creature in the short amount of time they've known each other.

"Oh!" She said in an afterthought. "Where are my manners. I'm Juliette, or Julie for short, and this is Grace, my companion. Pleased to meet you all."
