Cameron Faulkner | TAMER + DIGIMON |
PERSONALITY Cameron is a simple man. He follows simple ideals: be nice to others, hold the door for people behind you, don't swear in public. Simple stuff taught to every kid who isn't a delinquent. Of course, there was stuff he wouldn't do around his parents that now, he'd jump on the chance to. For, all of his bravado and physical strength, Cameron is very easily confused and talked into situations he has no part of. He doesn't mind it really, after all for as long as he's been the way he is, the people he knew never came to him in hopes of school help, no they came for the hulking, hormonal, young man that is Cameron Faulkner. So why should he mind? It's just another way to show off his proudest achievement. While he was rather hot-headed as a kid who would often say the first thing that came to his mind, he has broken out of that awful habit. After graduating high school and actually applying himself to something else besides his fists, he’s learned to actually think before acting. All a part of growing up he believes and now that he is in college he’s been trying to maintain a decent amount of study time along with his regular practice. With three older brothers Cameron has always felt the need to prove himself. To him, his brother's were everything, idols, mentors, teachers. If everyone was against him, he knew for sure that his brothers would always be by his side. Somewhere along the line he started to grow jealous of the three, they were big, strong men who he just wanted to be as big, and as strong as. So he did what he thought he should. He challenged them to a fight, and another, and another, and another. Each fight, no matter which sibling he fought, ended in his defeat. It didn't stop his drive, he was going to get to their status. He still isn't over his one-sided sibling rivalry and still strives to be stronger than they are. Better than they are. He knows now that he is by far stronger than them now, but it still doesn’t feel that way. That there is something missing from him that all three of them now have. Whatever it is, he’ll work hard till he has it too. No, until he has MORE of it than them, if that’s possible. Is it possible? With his brothers always doing something impressive, Cameron has never really has the chance to garner praise, so the few chances when he does he tends to let it go to far to his head. Now, being away from his family, it’s changed somewhat, he won’t be earning praise for strategy or smarts, but one thing he knows he has over everyone else is his physique. He can go a bit overboard with this as he never misses the chance to rip off his shirt and show them to anyone who he believes doubts him or his ability. What Cameron values more than anything else is strength. He’s always felt that if he couldn’t convey his feelings to someone that he always could through a fight. Now, that doesn’t mean he’d go around punching random people if he couldn’t force a word out, he isn’t some delinquent. That’s what boxing is for. He’s always been able to let go and keep calm, hitting away at his coaches pads, or punching a sandbag until he couldn’t anymore. Fighting another person in the ring is by far his favorite though, putting all of your feelings into your fists just feels natural to him. His feelings hit hard though, and no one yet has been able to take him down in the ring and he’ll try is hardest to make sure it stays that way. One thing he hates above all else is people making judgments about him by just looking at him. He knows he can be a bit imposing sometimes but that shouldn’t make him hard to approach. He’s just a normal young man after all: He likes to laugh, hang out, try his chances with the ladies, play video games, and well, box.
APPEARANCE Cameron is a tall man, standing in at an even six feet. He has an untamed haircut that is only cut if regulation demands so with his Dad’s headband tied tightly around his large forehead. He has a beige complexion and tends to tan easily and his hands are rough to the touch because of his daily regiment. Despite his career, the young man is clear of any of the usual boxer signs. No cauliflower ear or misshapen noses here. The boy wouldn’t hear the end of it if he’d sown up for dinner with those types of bruises. No, any hits he takes is usually taken to the gut, but every now and again he’ll gut a scrape on the cheek that’ll break skin, so he usually has a small bandage on after every match because of a stray fist. He wears a red muscle shirt sporting his school’s emblem on the left breast, though he tries his best to hide it under his black blazer when the weather permits, though it always worn in the fall. His fall attire is finished with a pair of black jeans and a pair of daily chosen running sneakers. INVENTORY ○ ITEM - description ○ ITEM - description ○ ITEM - description BIOGRAPHY Cameron Faulkner is the youngest of four sons reared by Jennifer and Lewis Faulkner. The couple made a decent living, acceptable as middle class in America. Lewis owned and operated his own small gym, while Jennifer was a Per Diem Nurse at a local hospital. To say Cameron loved his parents would be an understatement; he absolutely adored the two and in his own way, tried to impress the two whenever he got the chance. Though if he were asked, “Who is the most influential person in your life?” he’d quickly answer his three older brothers. The three were his elder by a modest 7 years and when he was growing up, the boys were basically attached at the hip. Cameron idolized them, and was always trying to find ways to be with them. When they went out with their friends, he’d try to sneak out with them. When they were playing their games, he’d try to be the fourth player and when the brothers competed with one another, Cameron would always try to sneak his way into the same competition. As he and his brothers started to age, he became agitated. His brothers were starting to grow up and stop doing what they used to, and just as he got old enough to understand exactly what they were doing years prior. They were high school kids now, and were always studying, so being the annoying little brother he was. Cameron would always find ways to agitate them and fight with them. Sure they still had their moments when they would all get together and do something but it wasn’t like how he was when Cameron was young. He was especially annoyed when he began getting the same teachers that taught his brothers. Cameron wasn’t as gifted as they were when it came to academics. It seemed like he had to work harder for what naturally came to them, and the various teachers didn’t waste a second to point that out. Of course, when this rage reached its peak, he went to go fight his brothers and unceremoniously they accepted. The results of these fights were always the same, an utter defeat, him once again being uncomfortably intimate with the floor. He began to question what the point of fighting these pillars was, while his father had decided that Cameron needed an outlet of some kind before he did serious damage to others or himself and introduced the raging youth to boxing. Boxing was his way out; no one was a better boxer in the family than him. He was well-versed in pugilism and it showed in the ring. His body began to develop, and as he continued aging it became more apparent. He was proud of it, it was his own. Sadly, his grudge against his brothers was still there, and the fights continued on but no matter what a 3v1 fight would always end in the latter’s failure. The cause of these fights were always the same “they were bigger than him” he would shout. Not in the literal sense but in a different way. Their names carried weight; weight he knew he’d never carry around the suburban town. He wasn’t studious, he wasn’t the one winning national science fairs, and he wasn’t the one trying to become a lawyer. He was Cameron the family’s best puncher, and just knowing that’s all he would ever be made him a lot more sad than angry, but he had to mask it for his own sake. The years would soon go by, high school would become a memory and he found himself thanking his skills in the ring. A scout his coach had connections with approached the young man, telling him he'd be able to pay for his college education if he joined his boxing team. Cameron was more than willing to take on the once in the lifetime offer. Sure, he'd have to study harder than he ever has but if this would get him closer o the pedestal where his brothers sit than it would all be worth it. One day, after weight training, he just decided to waste some time online. When he sat at his desk his screen seemed to, well open up with a kid-like creature popping out straight onto his lap. APPEARANCE Kiimon have the usual shape of Fresh Digimon and Q is no exception. He is round, purple and has two large eyes. Instead of a normally white sclera, the newborn has deep black eyes with whte iris in the center. Simple yes, but it's common for all life to start at the most simplistic of stages, right? PERSONALITY Its common for most demonic digimon to be expert pranksters who love to feed on the misfortune of others, except Q isn't like most from his "family". Similar to his Tamer, Q's drive is simple, to be stronger. When someone steps up to challenge him, he wants to show them their place beneath him. That's why he chose Cameron as his Tamer, their aren't many humans out there with the aura of power and authority, and with Cameron's help, one day he might be just that. BACKGROUND Q hasn't exactly been around a long enough time before he met Cameron to warrant him having meaningful memories. He was born as all Digimon are, in a standard digi-egg. While most are under the care of a guardian Digimon at birth, it was a different case for Q. When he hatched he was alone and had no other choice but to start wandering. Hopping through the digital world, being ignored and pushed around by tougher, older Digimon. That was until he heard the voice of people through what he could only describe as a hole in the sky. he Curiosity took over the impish Digimon and because of it, he found himself thrusted into an entirely different world. At least it was a soft transition, and to boot he landed right into the lap of someone who he felt safe with as soon as he locked eyes with him. | BASE FAMILY Nightmare Soldiers BASE SPECIES Kiimon BASE ATTRIBUTE Virus BASE TYPE Dark |
