PERSONALITY The first thing people might notice when they first meet Elise is likely the fact that unlike what her name suggests, Elise is quite a friendly person on the surface. Prone to approach situations with a smile and a gentle and caring demeanor most might mistake her for a pacifist, and with her desire to solve conflicts through words rather than fists that might seem to appear to be the case. It wouldn't even be wrong to say that Elise is somewhat of a peculiar person, having a rather dry, borderline weird sense of humor that one often jokes would fit an elderly lady more than her. Nevertheless, behind this initial impression of a sweet and caring lady slumbers a much more tragic soul. As the master of the 'Crimson Moon school' Elise is also known as the 'Crimson Witch', a testimony to her brutal and borderline savage nature on the battlefield. Stories have often gone the round of how skirmishes involving her turned downright into a bloodbath. When properly agitated or provoked into a serious conflict Elise shows a reckless abandon for her own safety, but also a much more aggressive and vicious demeanor. The type who would kill anything that is perceived as even the slightest threat or nuisance, people often wonder how this woman can be the very same Elise they know during their more peaceful times. The truth for that however, a truth only a handful of people are aware of is the fact that Elise had bonded with an incredibly ancient spirit. This spirit, known as the 'Spirit of Rage' bestows a great power upon the vessel, at a very desire consequence. Although physically hinted to be as strong as an Ultimate Digimon even in her human form, the immense power of the Spirit of Rage comes at the consequence of driving the user mad with unbridled fury, making them in essence a Berserker. This has been shown to even affect her physically, for example when not in her Digimon Form, and under the influence of her spirit Elise's hair glows red due to the inability to concentrate on suppressing its power. Still, Elise is a woman with a fair share of regrets. Having entered the previous war alongside her brother in arms, the legendary Red Mantle, the conflict came at a personal cost for Elise when a hostage situation involving her little brother went out of hand when the boy valiantly tried to stop the criminals from within, leading to him being killed for his defiance... As a result Elise became somewhat of a pacifist, retreating into the Digital World after the war ended and started a life as a hermit, although her heart is filled with grief at the loss of someone precious, perhaps the reason why she is so protective over others, Elise has an intense hatred for the Seven, to the point that when they escaped from their prison she decided it was time to start aiding her old companion: By joining the Red Mantle and his Watchers...
SKILLS | FLAWS | ● Legendary Martial Arts Master - Having learned her own martial arts style, Elise is known to be considered nearly without peers when it comes to martial arts combat, to the point rumors say the only one who could beat her in a fisticuffs is Daichi Kumo, who is also her sworn nemesis from the past war. But now that the war ended...
● Loyal - Even in the face of overwhelming odds Elise's loyalty goes without any questions. If she believes in your cause, then she will support you from start till finish as long as you continue to stick with things. Some even compare her loyalty to the code of honor a knight might have.
● Charismatic - Surprisingly enough despite her pacifist nature Elise is the type who can easily rally people to her cause with just words and her pretty looks alone already. Although it might also have something to do with the fact that she has such a powerful presence.
● Wise -Being close to 60 years old does have its perks when it comes to an assortment of life experiences. Having experienced so many facets of life, it wouldn't be a surprise to call her a sage when it comes to certain matters.
● War Veteran -As a veteran of the previous war Elise has her fair share of combat experiences, and as a result has learned both how to lead and how to strategize in combat, but it's been known that she much rather plays the role of the soldier rather than the general. | ● Chained Rage - Everyone who knows the stories is aware of the fact that Elise is like a ticking time-bomb, and that pissing her off is the last thing someone wants to do. When seriously angered Elise turns into a rage-fueled berserker mode that can only be pacified by knocking her out or by means only one person knows/is capable of.
● Retired Hero - Being one said to be able to fight on par with the Seven and even heroes like the Red Mantle, Elise's retirement from the battlefield, and a life as a hermit has mellowed her combat skills. While she is still a very powerful combatant in her own right, she will need plenty of time to be able to reach her prime once more.
● Last of a Clan - Having lost her family in the war, partly as a result of their association with her Elise has grown rather distant behind her gentle nature, and as a result is unable to truly bond with people on a intimate level.
● Pacifist - Although she has taken up the mantle of a martial arts master, Elise is known to have become the type of prefer solving matters with words rather than fists, some might see this as a weakness, rather than her being kind enough to give people a chance to reconsider their death-sentence
● Gluttonous Eater - Some say it's a miracle that Elise doesn't get fat with the amounts of food she eats, although her metabolism is weird as hell... Albeit never get asked to pay her bill, or your wallet will die. |
APPEARANCE Despite the fact she is already nearing the sixty in age, a long exposure to the Digital World has led Elise to retain the youth she had during the war, to the point people would barely believe she has aged. Looking like a young adult, perhaps in her mid-twenties at best Elise has a slender build body with a white skin color. If one was to go further into describing her features then they likely will notice her long brown hair and blue colored eyes next, while for clothes she usually wears rather modern and stylish yet casual outfits what fits her quite well.
INVENTORY ○ Holophone - A special device that she always carries with her. The Holophone is mostly the same as a regular cellphone but seems to allow the user to project a small hologram of themselves while communicating with someone. Alongside video and audio feedback this is quite a fancy device that even works with older phones! This particular Holophone seems to be modified, and has a strap on it with a famous anime character, a gift from her late brother... ○ Bandage Wraps - No, not for her chest but for her fists, because unless your name is Dachi Kumo her fists are gonna HURT you. ○ Clan Emblem - A peculiar little emblem, seems related to her martial arts clan.
BIOGRAPHY War. War never changes. A lesson that rings with a sober tone in the mind of Elise von Eisenberg, whose life as the living host of the Spirit of Rage began in a small rural village in Germany. Belonging to a family of wealthy landowners who were descendants of the town’s first settlers, this did hardly anything to elevate Elise’s social status among her neighbors and, as such, she had a fairly ordinary childhood. It was a life she shared with her younger brother, whom she doted over fiercely. At the age of fifteen, during a summer camp excursion, Elise found herself swept up in a peculiar chain of events that would ultimately pull her into the Digital World, and it was in this strange new dimension that she was contacted by a mysterious entity, who taught her of the existence of its inhabitants, the Digimon, and informed her that she was to become this faceless creature’s living vessel. On numerous occasions it compelled her to accept its presence, yet Elise refused defiantly each time. It was only when an attempt on her life was made by a feral Ogremon that Elise was forced to accept the contract with this ghostly presence. Within a matter of moments, she had become host to the fearsome Spirit of Rage. Though not an unpleasant or asocial figure in its own right, the major drawback to acting as the Spirit’s vessel was that its overwhelming power was not so easily contained by whomever it chose to harbor it. Soon, stories began to spread throughout the Digital World of a girl whose hair glowed with a burning crimson light, lashing at her foes with the ferocity and power of a savage predator. They called her “the Berserker”. But, as she was inexperienced and unable to truly control the Spirit’s might, Elise had nearly lost her mind to the wrath until a young man—a hero whose identity was lost to the pages of history—succeeded in pacifying the young woman, earning her trust and friendship for his courageous act of compassion. When the war with the Seven had begun, both the Digital and Real Worlds were embroiled in conflict. She was swift to join the cause of her new ally and comrade-in-arms after a failed attempt to recruit her to the side of darkness, opposing the Seven with her newly strengthened resolve. But, all is fair in love and war, and the Seven were not opposed to exploiting those Elise held close to her heart in order to further their own ends—and they did so in the most diabolical way. A hostage situation broke out in Germany, motivating Elise to abandon the battle in the Digital World and return to her once-idyllic hometown. There, she was met with the sight of her family tied in binds, prisoners of the Seven. They demanded she give up her place in the war, and she would have easily complied if it meant preserving their safety, but her little brother—knowing that it was a betrayal to the ideals of justice and her personal code of honor—sought to avoid the worst case scenario. Brazenly, he defied his captors— —A gunshot rang out, followed by several more. Before her very eyes, Elise’s family was slaughtered like cattle, punished for their attempts to defy the whims of the Seven. Losing all control, the Spirit of Rage overtook her mind and body once again, transforming into the dreaded Lilithmon and quickly decimated those responsible for taking that which was most precious to her. But the damage was already done, and it did nothing to quell her lingering anger and grief. Simply by being what she was, her family’s safety, and their lives, were ultimately compromised. By the time she finished burying them, Elise returned to the Digital World sometime after the war had settled, having learned that the Seven were finally imprisoned for their treachery and cruelty. The nameless young man, who had succeeded in helping her harness the power of the Spirit of Rage, learned of the tragedy that befell Elise and reminded her of a grim, sobering truth before he mysteriously vanished from the records of history: the life of a hero is, ultimately, a lonely existence. Overwhelmed with sorrow by this painful reality, Elise retreated to the unknown corners of the Digital World to live out the rest of her days as a hermit, secluding herself within an abandoned temple complex within the deepest reaches of the Nanosphere Forest. But when a group of children found their way to her personal sanctuary with their Digimon partners in tow, she was confronted with an unusual request: having heard rumors of a legendary master of the martial arts, they wished to be trained by her in the ways of combat. Having no personal experience in physical combat herself –– that was a skill bestowed to her by the murderous Spirit of Rage –– she reached the conclusion that, by imparting knowledge and wisdom to these youths, she could bestow upon them the power to prevent future tragedies like the one she was forced to endure. Given a spark of hope, Elise adopted the role of teacher and coined her own style of martial arts called the “Crimson Moon School”, passing the techniques she learned from the Spirit’s power to the children she came to call her students. Over time, her own expertise would improve as she learned and passed her knowledge down, and it came to pass that she could truly be considered a master in her own right. But, this moment of respite and spiritual healing would not last. Whispers of the emergence of Shin-Sekai and the possible return of the Seven had forced her old brother-in-arms, who had adopted the title of “Red Mantle”, out of hiding, and that such an act was her cue to return to the battlefield as well. It was time for the heroes of new to join forces with the legends of old. Are their combined powers enough to drive away Shin-Sekai and prevent the return of the Seven? Only time will tell.

DESCRIPTION The SPIRIT OF RAGE is an ancient spirit, perhaps even one of the most ancient ones currently found in the digital world. While the absence of a vessel has turned it into nothing more than myth within the Digital World for countless generations, the recent emergence of a vessel for this spirit has made its existence become confirmed as a fact rather than a fairy-tale. While the SPIRIT OF RAGE takes no physical form, it is known to emerge as a mental presence in the vessel's mind and when influencing their host turns their hair into a crimson color. However, rumors say this SPIRIT slumbered for such a long time as a result of the consequences having a vessel would cause upon the digital world. In the end while the SPIRIT OF RAGE bestows great power upon the wielder, it also drives them into an unbridled rage-induced madness, turning them into nothing but a mindless Berserker. Rumors say only two individuals have been able to retain their sanity under the influence of this spirit, Elise being one of them... At least as long as she has the means to concentrate on suppressing its power.

DESCRIPTION While resembling most Black Renamon Elise's S-HYBRID form seems to be accompanied by her martial arts dogi outfit!
PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ CRIMSON MOON SCHOOL - As a practiced master of martial arts combat, Elise receives a passive +10% bonus to her physical attack power, and each attack will have the possibility of landing a second consecutive blow at 75% of its original power.
ATTACKS ○ SHADOW DANCE – Elise accelerates herself to the point her movements appear blurred, crossing great distances within a short time frame to deliver a counterattack before the enemy has time to react. Allows her to evade one attack at her level or lower and dish out 50% of its original damage to the opponent with a minor chance to also inflict BLEED status, shaving off 2% of the affected target’s total health each round. Stackable up to five times, and requires the target to heal or Digivolve in order to purify this condition. COOLDOWN: 3 rounds ○ NUSSKNACKER – A straightforward, albeit crude strike that involves delivering a bone-shattering kick to the nether regions of a target, stunning them for a full round. Any Digimon that is of Champion level or lower can be affected by this attack, but stronger targets won’t feel a thing. COOLDOWN: 2 rounds ○ FALLING LEAVES – A maelstrom of fallen leaves obscures Elise’s form as though she were a mere trick of the mind, giving her the capacity to evade any attack directed specifically at her for a full round until she reappears a slight distance away from her original location. Elise may only evade attacks up to Armor Champion strength or lower, as anything higher may have the potential to entirely bypass the illusion. COOLDOWN: 2 rounds

PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ CRIMSON MOON SCHOOL: FURY – Employing fragments of her own energy to augment her martial skills, Elise’s melée attacks are able to bypass up to 50% of an enemy’s existing defensive enhancements or barriers. Additionally, as was the case with the lesser iteration of this passive, each attack will have a possibility of inflicting a second, consecutive blow at 75% of its original power. ○ RISING ANGER - Whenever Elise takes combat damage, she gains a stack of RAGE. For each stack she has, she receives a passive +20% bonus to all of her offensive parameters. At five stacks, RISING ANGER becomes RAGE UNCHAINED, granting her the physical strength of a Digimon at the Ultimate level and a passive 5% health regeneration effect for five full rounds, at the terrible price of her rational thinking skills; the line between friend and foe is erased entirely, and targets are chosen at random. After the fifth round, all stacks of RAGE are exhausted, resetting the counter to zero. ○ UNSTOPPABLE FORCE - As an avatar of wrath, Elise is immune to crowd control effects, and any stun or root effects will only slow her down by half of their original duration.
ATTACKS ○ INNER TURMOIL – Lunges forward with an aggressive punching attack, sending an explosive burst of dark energy into the opponent upon physical contact in order to inflict internal wounds that shave off 5% of the target’s health every round. This effect can be stacked up to three times, and healing these injuries requires the usage of two recovery techniques or with Digivolution. COOLDOWN: N/A ○ CROSS-COUNTER - ○ CROSS-COUNTER – Elise can intercept a single physical attack of equal power or lower by directly enduring the blow so that she may inflict a punishing counter-strike while their defenses are temporarily compromised. A successful hit will reset any status enhancements present on the affected enemy. COOLDOWN: 2 rounds ○ PREDATOR FANG – A vicious attack where Elise attempts to grapple an enemy and plunge her teeth into their flesh, absorbing pieces of their very structural data in the process. Not only will this restore her health by 50% of the damage inflicted, but will inflict the target with GORE status, hindering their ability to fight by making them become forced to return to a weaker evolutionary stage for four turns. To use this attack, however, it requires Elise to have accrued five stacks of RAGE through her RISING ANGER passive; once used, all stacks are depleted. COOLDOWN: N/A but can only be used once a person. ○ CRIMSON NAIL - A flurry of sweeping slashes and swipes are made by Elise that can be chained together a total of five, consecutive times, although doing so increases this attack’s cooldown period by an additional round. COOLDOWN: 1–5 turns

PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ STEALTH FLIGHT - A form that is more useful for aerial reconnaissance and less for actual combat, Elise can take to the skies and bend the photon particles surrounding her body to conceal herself from sight in a manner similar to invisibility. As long as the stealth effect is active, Elise cannot be targeted by attacks or passive effects. Executing an attack of her own instantly drops the stealth cloak. ○ SIREN'S DIRGE - While under the effects of STEALTH FLIGHT, all of Elise’s attacks are able to directly influence Digimon up to one stage higher than herself. ○ QUIET RAGE - Surprisingly enough, Elise’s legendary anger as Velgemon seems to have diminished just enough to give her a small degree of control over her own actions. In the event she is actually hit (but not targeted) by an enemy attack or passive effect, she can retain the cloaking effect of her STEALTH FLIGHT passive. Area of effect attacks will automatically negate the cloak.
ATTACKS ○ SHADOW CLONE - Elise molds darkness energy into a tangible copy of herself, which then seeks out a target at its own discretion; it is only capable of basic attacks and has none of the benefits that Elise herself possesses, and is only able to endure a single blow. But, should an enemy strike the replica, it will explode in a torrent of energy tendrils that will attempt to restrain the foe for the full duration of their next round. COOLDOWN: 2 rounds ○ MOONLIGHT SONATA - Elise’s feathers begin to vibrate at high frequencies, causing tonal distortions in the form of a haunting melody that puts all within a 100-meter range into a deep sleep for two rounds; even deaf targets will be affected, as the soundwaves will still be able to hit their eardrums if left unprotected. Any damage deal to sleeping targets will automatically wake them up. As it functions similarly to the way sonar does, however, all one must do to avoid being put to sleep is to hide behind a large enough object. When enemies try to conceal themselves behind none-physical objects (for example energy-based barriers) the sound will become amplified and they are put into an even deeper slumber for an additional round. COOLDOWN: 3 rounds ○ HARPIE'S SHRIEK – An ear-splitting screech is emitted by Elise that also functions using the same sonar-based principles as MOONLIGHT SONATA and therefore bears the same characteristics and weaknesses as the aforementioned technique, but will inflict BLIND status to all within its 100-meter range, forcing the affected victims to make a roll for each attack they make as a means of determining their final target. COOLDOWN: 3 turns ○ TROUBLE TUNE - Elise caws out a dreadful song from the back of her throat, releasing a pulse of darkness-infused sound energy over a 100-meter area that imparts the TROUBLE ailment, a particularly nasty effect which causes any damage an affected target inflicts against her to be evenly distributed amongst themselves and any allies presently fighting with them for a duration of three rounds. COOLDOWN: 3 turns ○ HIDDEN PAYLOAD - Used on an ally of her choosing, Elise will attempt to latch on to them and pull them up into the sky before entering stealth via her STEALTH FLIGHT passive, imparting its effects onto the targeted ally as well. COOLDOWN: 3 turns

PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ CRIMSON MOON MARTIAL SCHOOL : WRATH – Empowered by her insatiable drive to quell her unstoppable anger, Elise’s melée attacks are powerful enough to completely bypass any defensive enhancements or existing barriers they have erected. Her physical strikes alone are more than enough to overpower all but the hardest material substances, as well. ○ SURGING CHI - Though not as powerful as she was in the prime of her youth, Elise is still a force of nature that should not be underestimated, as she demonstrates through the overwhelming presence of her own spiritual energy. Her endurance, speed, and defensive abilities are all on par with Digimon up to one stage higher than herself and she receives a passive 25% health regeneration effect, but her raw physical strength is only comparable to Digimon of her own level. ○ UNRELENTING FORCE - As an avatar of wrath, Elise is immune to crowd control effects, and any stun or root effects will only slow her down by half of their original duration. ○ AURA OF LEADERSHIP - Those who fight at Elise’s side as Lilithmon will find themselves empowered by the strength of her presence alone, improving all of their combat parameters by half of their original value and diminishing the potency of crowd control effects by half.
ATTACKS ○ CRIMSON SPHERE - Elise thrusts a palm forward and creates a large, orb-shaped vortex of scarlet energy which violently tears into the foe’s body with the force of a hurricane localized toward a single point, sending them hurtling away a considerable distance upon the sphere’s inevitable detonation three seconds later. It has the added benefit of being executed at 150% of the strength of a typical Mega level attack, but will only affect targets within melée range—seriously, just stay away from her if you don’t want to get hit by this move. ○ DANSE MACABRE – Moving with such blinding speed that only a Digimon of Super Mega level could hope to match it, Elise proceeds to unleash a devastating flurry of claw swipes at her victim of choice, each blow able to strike the target at full damage, regardless of their defensive parameters. Furthermore, this move can be chained up to four additional times, either by herself or in tandem with the clones created by her LUNAR SHADOW attack, but will impose an extra round of cooldown as a result and will cause the replicas to instantly dissipate. COOLDOWN: 1–5 rounds. ○ LUNAR SHADOW – Elise can summon up to four, imperfect replicas of herself with the offensive parameters of an Ultimate level Digimon and the defensive resistance necessary to withstand up to two Mega level attacks. Perfect for training or decoy purposes, Elise’s replicas share her CRIMSON MOON SCHOOL and UNRELENTING FORCE passive effects and have no limit to their lasting duration, but are restricted to performing basic actions. COOLDOWN: 3 rounds after the last clone is destroyed or used for DANSE MACABRE ○ BLOODY BARRAGE – A coordinated combination attack using her LUNAR SHADOW clones, Elise directs each copy to deliver a physical strike at full damage before attempting to latch onto the target of choice, rooting them in place while the real Elise closes the distance and unleashes a large scale version of CRIMSON SPHERE that damages the foe for 500% of its original iteration’s value. Its degree of difficulty in terms of execution ultimately requires precise timing for it to be a success, which may explain why Elise rarely uses this technique. COOLDOWN: 5 rounds ○ MEDITATION STANCE – Elise adopts a calming posture and focuses her spiritual energy into a restorative field which can either heal herself or those around her. Choosing to heal her own injuries permits her to recover up to 60% of her total lost health, whereas healing her allies will replenish only 30% of their maximum, but does so over a 25-foot area of effect. COOLDOWN: 4 turns ○ AVATAR OF RAGE - While few who have seen this form are still alive to tell the tale, during the times Elise is truly pushed to her limit her enemies are destined to experience the true terror of the Spirit of Rage. Upon reaching zero health Elise will be rendered unconcious for a moment when the Spirit of Rage fuels her body with its energy, causing the young woman to become surrounded into a maelstorm of energy. At this point Elise will undergo a Bio-Merge with the Spirit within her, allowing her to tap onto the powers that once made her considered a legend by becoming a Super Mega. While this transformation grants Elise a full health recovery and regeneration, it comes at the consequence of corrupting her appearance into a unrecognizable form, to the point some speculate she is a whirlwind of malevolent energy, although those who would pierce beyond this whirlwind would see that the Lilithmon form has actually had her hair turn into a crimson color, suggesting that Elise has quite literally blend with the power of the Spirit of Rage entirely. COOLDOWN: N/A Once a thread upon defeat.
