PERSONALITY To describe Laila, is akin to describing an onion, it is concealed by layers and only by peeling each layer and giving it a detailed look can one truly come to comprehend the core of the individual that she is. The first layer is often said to be the thickest and most difficult one to peel away, and for Laila this is especially the case. In the end, if someone continuously gets burnt in their attempts to show kindness to others, it's only natural for them to become afraid of being burnt yet again, right? This was exactly the case for Laila. Ever since the incident during her childhood the girl became the source of a local superstition. The loss of her beloved parents, and the coldness that followed caused Laila to pull a shell around her feelings. By adopting a distant, and seemingly indifferent demeanor the girl attempted to close off her heart from the world, in fear of being burnt once again. It's quite clear that Laila's personality is slightly different than most. The first, and perhaps most noticeable trait to this layer is associated with Laila's seemingly cold and apathetic nature toward her fellow humans. Due to the events of her childhood, there is only one thing of importance for Laila, to track down the people responsible for her family's demise, and for that goal the end justifies the means. As a result Laila wouldn't shy away from manipulating people, or even kill them if necessary, and without a second thought crossing her mind. It's quite noticeable that Laila isn't the type to express her emotions through expressions to strangers, believing such things to be a weakness for others to exploit. Instead she has decided to adopt a figurative mask, usually concealing her emotions behind a neutral expression, and a emotionless tone. Indeed, she might appear as a traditional cold and cruel survivor who is willing to do anything to survive, but at the same time there is still the fact this is only one side to her. Towards her partners Laila shows a remarkably different demeanor, one that clearly seems an echo to the gentle girl she had once been. Laila is incredibly protective over the Twin Digimon in her care, perhaps because she believes those creatures are much more genuine when it comes to expressing their true feelings and intentions, what erases Laila's suspicion about what others might think, or whether they are scheming something or not, due to the honesty in those Digimon's actions. If one does gain Laila's trust she seems to show a more gentle and timid demeanor, a bashfulness likely associated with her inexperience on aspects of friendship and companionship. It's also during those moments that Laila's traumas, and the vulnerabilities associated with them become more evident. The first and perhaps foremost ones is Laila's fear of the dark. It's easy to notice that moving outdoors during the evening is quite stressful for her, the shadows that prowl the night making her borderline paranoid, and when cloaked in true darkness the poor girl truly develops a hysteria. This fear is associated with the first incident. When her household was attacked during the middle of the night, Laila had been forced to hide herself, the creeping darkness that surrounded her, accompanied by the terrifying sounds of the rampaging conflicts throughout the mansion would have been enough to traumatize any child. Laila had been forced to experience this at such a tender age, and when DATS and the police came to investigate, the sounds that came from nearby reached her, the girl broke out into loud cries, to be found by her rescuers. Ever since that event Laila always has some source of light with her, for the darkness brings forth the terrifying memories of the past, and it isn't unheard of for the girl to have a mental breakdown if she is exposed to the dark for too long. Rising up to a meager five feet and three inches tall she might be considered just a little bit below the average on terms of build, and her thin frame is accompanied by a slightly pale complexion. If one was to describe one of Laila's charms, then it would likely be her eyes. Her eyes, a purple color have a certain mysterious allure to them, and some people often seem to believe that whenever a storm would approach, they would turn a darker tint, albeit this is merely speculation that has led many children to try to do a staring contest against Laila, to amusing yet embarrassing results. Another feature, perhaps a more noticeable one at that is the fact Laila always has some sort of covering over her hands, usually a pair of black gloves. The true nature of this accessory is found in the existence of physical reminder of a past event. If one was to remove the gloves, they would very easily notice the darker coloration at certain parts of her skin, a reminder of the injury she was inflicted with during the incident that consumed her family. Her lavender colored hair is usually kept down, with a braid on the side that seems tied with a black ribbon, and seems surprisingly enough well-maintained. Quite likely a result of her fondness of a certain memento that came in the form of a brush. On terms of her clothes, She wears her lavender hair down and with a braid on the side, tied with a black ribbon. Her outfit consists of a dark purple collared jacket over a white blouse and brown tie, along with a short skirt and heeled knee-high boots. INVENTORY ○ ITEM - Change of clothes ○ ITEM - Cellphone ○ ITEM - Pouch that has a flashlight and a knife in it BIOGRAPHY To understand Laila's story, one has to first understand the significance in the connection between the Lancaster family and the Digital World. In the end it all began there... Back when the Digital World was first discovered by the Japanese Government, the existence of this new world kept a secret from the world, there had been a handful of individuals who had been exposed to the existence of this world, even before the organization known as DATS came to be. Indeed, Laila's parents were some of the few who had, at that time already experienced the adventurous, but often also incredibly dangerous existence of the Digital World. After their timely return from the Digital World Laila's parents decided to devote their lives into the studying of the Digital World, and the existence of its denizen, the mysterious entities known as Digimon. As Researchers who had not only experienced the Digital World first-hand, but also had the companionship and aid of Digimon partners, Laila's parents were happily accepted into the ranks of the, at that time elusive and secretive DATS organization. For years they spend their time researching, often serving as pioneers in the various creations, some even said they had a hand in developing the technology that allowed people to produce the Digivices, but whether that was the truth, or merely a rumor was never confirmed. Nevertheless, as one might imagine Laila's childhood was quite peculiar as a result. Born to a pair of researchers, most of Laila's early life was spend in the laboratory with her parents and their Digimon, and although her parents were affectionate and dotting parents, the lack of an ordinary environment did have its impact on her. When children would go out to play in the park with their friends, Laila instead received lectures about Digimon, or the Digital World, or sometimes even played with the two partners of her parents. In the end the child's world was entirely limited to the mansion her parents lived in, and the laboratory they conducted their research in. At the tender age of eight, when according to the latest research of her parents, that children were the most sensitive to bonding with their Digimon, Laila's parents had conducted a rather peculiar experiment in an attempt to provide their daughter with a birthday present she would never forget. Their research involved the 'bond' between a Tamer and Digimon, and while they were actively monitoring the countless streams of data that were flowing through their computers, they eagerly waited to see if their experiment was a success, to actively call a Digitama into the real world. Astonishingly enough it did work, for a Digitama started to materialize in the room, right before little Laila who was watching the event with curiosity and disbelief. However, it was also that experiment that unfortunately made them discover a secret, a secret so incredible that some darker force desired to keep it silenced. For Laila it was a day she would never forget, in the end she had been laying in her bed when suddenly her mother came rushing in, a worried look on her face as she told her to quickly grab the Digitama and follow her. Masked burglars had invaded the mansion, and while the security guards were clashing with this foreign force, they were ill-prepared for the Digimon that accompanied the invaders. When they caught up to her father, he told them to flee and hide, in the end DATS was on its way with reinforcements, and after handing her mother an disk told them to go, just in time for the duo to see his partner digivolve and fight the invaders. Her heart must had skipped countless beats as they rushed into the garden of the mansion, when to her disbelief the building was set ablaze, and before either could try to rush back in, the two of them spotted one of the masked invaders walk out of the flames, prompting her mother to push Laila into the bushes and hush her, hoping the burglar didn't see her. With baited breath Laila watched the burglar approach, gun in hand and pointed toward her mother as he demanded something about a disc, and yet the moment her mother tried to order her partner to Digivolve a single gun shot resounded through the cold air. Indeed, her mother had been shot, and a black Dinosaur had appeared at the burglar's side, seemingly attacking her mother's Digimon and easily besting the poor creature. However, it was the moment the burglar grabbed the disc, that sirens resounded in the distance, and seemingly wary of the approaching sound the man fled the scene. With the arrival of the DATS officers Laila broke out into tears, and no matter how much they tried to comfort her, the girl continued to weep as she hugged the Digitama closely to her chest. In the years that followed little was discovered about the burglars of that night, aside from the fact they were members of a terrorist faction. Of course, wary of the possible return of those wicked fiends Laila was left in the care of a highly ranked DATS officer who became her adoptive father, and yet as Laila grown up the only thing that plagued her mind were the memories of the loss she had been forced to endure. Why were her parents so brutally killed? She wanted to discover the truth, and it was for that reason that she lived, studying into the footsteps of her parents, in the hope that someday she'd be accepted as a member of DATS. However, her goal wasn't something noble like saving the world, or keeping the balance between the real and digital worlds. She wanted to uncover the truth, and make those people pay for killing her family.... And the Digitama? Although it remained dormant for years, it seemed that on her seventeen birthday the egg did hatch, not just in one... but two Digimon!

DESCRIPTION PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ Demoralize - Although Coco is considered the sweeter of the duo, her aura is one often considered corrupted and terrifying by her opponents. Enemies who face her in combat have their modifiers reduced by 25% as long as they are champion or lower ATTACKS ○ Assassinate - A dreadful ability of Coco, while usually staying at the backline, this little feline is able to exploit the vulnerabilities of her enemies. If the enemy is stunned, or she attacks them within stealth she gains a damage buff that makes her considered equal to an Armored Ultimate, has a four posts cooldown ○ Ying-Yang Roar - Coco releases a melodious mewing, moralizing allies with a passive +30% to their strength, speed and defense, and demoralizes enemies for half the amount. Lasts 3 rounds, has a two rounds cooldown from the point of expiration. AoE, has a range of 50 meters. demoralize only affects enemies up to champion ○ Sneaky Kitty - Stealth move, allows her to sneak around for three rounds, two rounds cooldown from the time she exits stealth. ○ Decoy - Tosses a projectile at the enemy that explodes to take the form of a item to serve as a decoy. If champion or lower the enemy will be forced to spend one attack on the decoy before it is destroyed. Can be used while in stealth without breaking it, however has a three rounds cooldown. ○ Two kitties is better than one - A combination attack where Coco and Terina use Kitty-cat eyes and Assassinate in rapid succession. DESCRIPTION PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ Guardian of the Shadows - While Terina is a frontline fighter, her sister Coco has always been one to remain in the background. Coco is considered a supportive ally, making herself able to buff Terina up to 50% in parameters at the cost of not directly attacking her enemy. Instead all her attacks (aside from the combination attack and her counter) only inflict status effects. Terina will lose this buff for one round if Coco uses any attacks aside from Keeping the Balance/absorbing an attack does not count as attack. ○ Strategist - Coco is a more behind the scenes fighter, as a result her ability to support her allies is considered first-class. Any cards or buffs used upon her or her allies last one round longer than normally. additionally they increase their effectiveness by half, if no % is given it merely provides a passive +20% to their parameters. ATTACKS ○ Seduced by Darkness - Giving the enemy some tempting words Coco is able to manifest her temptation as a ranged projectile, that if it hits the enemy will inflict them with Hollow Love, this will lower their parameters by a 10% debuff for three rounds, can stack up to 5 times, each hit inflicted resetting the duration, but can only be hit once a round with this. ○ Void of Darkness - Conjures a portal that will absorb a single attack up to Ultimate and store it within the darkness. Three attacks can be stored maximum, upon which Coco will fire the attack, alongside its original effects and properties (like buffs) at the enemy. Only one portal can be made a round, and has two rounds cool-down after the counter is used. Either Ladydevimon can't attack during the turn she absorbs something, or this attack goes onto a one-turn cooldown. Counter-firing can either happen right after the third absorb, or whenever Ladydevimon decides to use it. ○ Dark Embrace - Cuddles are love, cuddles are life. Coco can empower someone by creating a phantom of herself to embrace an ally, this will recover her, and their ally for 25% of their health, has a 3 rounds cooldown. ○ Dark Decree - This temporarily lowers an enemy's parameters by 50% for one round due to commanding aura of Ladydevimon this move only affects enemies up to Ultimate. Has a three rounds cooldown ○ Dark Dreams - Releasing a toxin into the air Coco is able to try to put enemies up to Ultimate to sleep. Upon success the enemy is considered asleep for two rounds, but any action made toward them will automatically wake them up before the attack is made. Three rounds cooldown from point that Dark Dreams end (AoE) ○ Keeping the Balance - Both Coco and Terina spend one of their actions this round to use a combination attack, launching a torrent of light and darkness based energy upon their enemy. Due to the two combining their essence this attack is considered of a unknown property, ignoring defensive buffs or passives that would otherwise negate or lower its damage value. If the enemy has their speed reduced this attack gets a offensive boost equal to the amount of speed lost.  ○ BLAZING FIRE - Fires a fiery projectile at the enemy, that if the enemy gets hit burns them lightly for 3 rounds, enemy can only be set ablaze once more after two rounds passed from the point of the last effect. ○ Retaliate - By soaking in the attacks of the enemy, Terina is able to lash back at the enemy, increasing a passive +20% for each attack she endured up to a 100% boost for 5 attacks. A minimum of two rounds is needed between each retaliate. ○ Double Typhoon -Combo Attack- - By spinning their bodies in perfect synchronization Terina and Coco are able to produce a fair-sized typhoon to rage over the battlefield. This takes up their entire turn, but they gain a heightened defensive boost of 50% each, and get immune to melee attacks from Rookie or below enemies. Champions and armored ulti merely lose some of their power when attacking the duo during Double Typhoon, and ultimate or higher are immune to any reduction. 3 rounds cooldown, and this attack takes up an entire round.

In this form Terina releases a aura that inspires heroes to go beyond their usual limits. Grants a 25% buff to the user, and allies their parameters. ATTACKS ○ Hypnotic Suggestion - By setting their gaze upon the enemy Terina can attempt to provoke a specific thought into the enemy's mind. This debuffs an enemy's confidence, granting them a -30% to their offensive power for three rounds, two rounds cooldown from the point Hypnotic Suggestion ends. -requires eye contactt- ○ Thousand Paws of Fury - A powerful combination of sweeps and slashes are made by Terina, inflicting a potential bleeding effect upon the enemy for three rounds, bleeding can only be applied once a round per Digimon, and stacks only up to 5 times (each bleeding inflicting 1% of their HP in damage), inflicting bleeding beyond the max stack causes the duration to merely reset. ○ Kitty-cat eyes - A stun attack that is initiated either before, or during an enemy's physical attack. Terina is able to use a doe-eyed look upon the enemy to try to force them into a stunned condition for one round. This attack has a 2 rounds cooldown, and the effect ends upon being hit by an enemy attack -affects up to champion, requires eye contact- ○ Nekodamashi - An evasive attack, by gaining a passive +50% speed buff to her next action Terina attempts to avoid her opponent's attack (keeping in mind the details of said attack) and then strike her enemy with her tail. This can be used to help an ally avoid an enemy attack if they are near her. Two posts cooldown ○ Two kitties is better than one - A combination attack where Coco and Terina use Kitty-cat eyes and Assassinate in rapid succession. This doesn't trigger their cooldowns, but due to the surprise element can only be used once upon an enemy each thread. this use is shared by the twins

DESCRIPTION PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ Holy Warrior - Having always been on the front-line, Terina is just as much of a warrior as one might expect, even after becoming an Angewomon. However, Terina's true expertise has clearly revealed itself to be weaponry. Whenever Terina wields equipment, whether used by cards or a technique she gains a passive boost to her parameters alongside the instant knowledge on how to wield it. Common= +20% Rare= +30% Super Rare= +40% Ultra Rare +50% Special +100% Techniques provide +75%. Additionally, with this passive Terina is able to 'boost' a none-technique attack into a 100% power (aka regular technique) attack, but this takes up one of her actions for that round. ○ Blessed by the Light - Terina recovers her health passively by 10% for each round as long as she fights within a source of light. If this is natural sunlight she will gain +20% instead. Additionally she can not be affected by status effects up to her level as long as she fights within the light. ATTACKS ○ Unlimited Blade Works - A pun that Laila insisted on Terina using. This technique allows Terina to manifest verious weaponry, usually bladed swords but also bows. This technique lasts for three turns, has a two rounds cooldown after expiration and grants a +25% boost to Terina's Holy Warrior. ○ Divine Onslaught - Terina summons a volley of weaponry to attack the enemy with. This attack is considered the equivalent of a  Mega-tier attack, but requires a full turn to charge up and has a five posts cooldown. This attack will tear through barriers up to Mega and ignore defensive buffs from Ultimates or lower. ○ Starlight Breaker - Totally not a magical girl's attack, still it packs a punch. When used it fires a large lazer beam at the enemy, if there is a natural light source present this attack will hit at 200% power and stun Virus or Nightmare Soldiers for one round. Stun can't be chained/two rounds cooldown if used on virus or nightmare soldiers ○ Divine Light - Creates a projectile of golden energy and shoots it into the air. The battlefield will become lit up in a bright sunlight (considered natural sunlight) for three rounds, the counter starting from the next round, has a two rounds cooldown after the sunlight ends. o By the light, be cleansed! A peculiar ability of Terina. By unleashing a flash of white light Terina is able to remove status effects and debuffs from her and nearby allies, and remove buffs from enemies for one round/a buff reset up to Ultimate. Has a three rounds cooldown ○ Keeping the Balance - Both Coco and Terina spend one of their actions this round to use a combination attack, launching a torrent of light and darkness based energy upon their enemy. DESCRIPTION PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ Light & Darkness - Having become a perfect synchronization between the two sisters, this Mastemon seemingly inherited the ability to draw upon one of their abilities at will. Mastemon can swap the effect of Light & Darkness with one of the sister's passives, but this can only be done once every three rounds ○ Strategist - Retaining the intelligence of Coco, this Mastemon is considered an excellent strategist, granting any buffs or card effects to last two rounds longer than normal. Additionally, the effect of said buffs increase with a value of x1.5 unless they have no % listed, if they don't it will simply grant a passive +20% to their parameters. ATTACKS ○ Chaos Degrade - Due to being a representation of the power of Balance Mastemon is a natural enemy of the forces of Chaos. Aside from her attack being considered of an unknown property, hitting at 200% power and ignoring defensive buffs up to Ultimate (Mega ignore half), it is known to be especially dangerous to those influenced by chaotic energies like Dark Evolution. When this attack hits a Dark Evo it inflicts double damage (400%) and stuns the enemy for one round, alongside reducing their dark evo timer by one point in duration. Has a four rounds cooldown (attack's look depends on the weapon wielded, if unarmed it will be a sphere of energy) ○ Armory of the Void - Conjures a weapon out of a small dimension that Mastemon has control over. This weapon grants Mastemon a +25% to her parameters as long as she is wielding this weapon, this weapon will ignore 25% of an enemy's defensive buffs if the enemy is lower than a Mega). Has a four rounds duration, three rounds cooldown from the point the buff ends. ○ Astral Recall - Conjures a portal that will absorb up to two ultimate attacks. Can store up to three attacks before launching them back at the enemy, attacks will carry all effects and properties of the initial attack. Three rounds cooldown after counter (but only one Astral Recall can be used each round). Additionally, absorbing two attacks with a single Astral Recall will demand two Digimon actions (aka take up a full turn normally) unless fighting Twin Digimon) ○ Astral Breaker - Fires a powerful projectile of unknown attribute at the enemy. This attack ignores passive buffs to defense and tears through barriers up to ultimate. Has a three rounds cooldown if a barrier gets broken. ○ Lock-down - Launches a volley of spears made from dazzling light that attempt to hone in on the enemy. Enemies hit by this attack will be stunned for two rounds, or till the next attack hits them (whatever comes first), four rounds cooldown, can only affect up to Ultimate
