"Dammit, dammit DAMMIT!" Hyde hissed as he kept himself pressed against the wall, peering around the corner from the alleyway he was currently hiding in. You'd think being in a large city like Terabyte City would make hiding easy. But noooo, no sooner had he come into this damn place, was he then spotted by a DATS Tamer and chased through the city. The DATS had wanted to recruit Hyde for years, interested in his genius. And Hyde's response had been the same. A laugh, a 'hell no' and then flipping them off. However, it seemed they weren't going to take that anymore and simply decided to just try and grab him. They had apparently deemed his habits too 'dangerous' to leave him wandering around free. And of course, when one pushes Nicholas Hyde, he pushes back.
Now, normally him going up against a tamer wasn't much of a problem, but right now he was at a bit of a disadvantage. Due to a foul up in one of his more recent outings, his two partners, Weiss and Sable, had been dedigivolved back into their fresh forms, a pair of Puttimon twins. Naturally, a pair of fresh digimon weren't really up for fighting against a skilled tamer, leaving Hyde having to resort to sneaking around and keeping his datagun on hand. While he would love to put a couple of bullets into this smug bastard's head, he had to keep an eye out for his partners. Being a tamer was such a pain at times.
Thankfully, it seemed like the tamer was distracted by the crowd. Hyde began to back away into the alleyway, hoping to quietly put some space between himself and his pursuer. Then came the crash of a garbage can. "Dammit Sable!" "Sorry sir!"
Ok, screw sneaking. Time for more running.

 [attr="class","modtext"]Playing tag with a grown man was never a pleasant game, especially if they had to do it where lots of people were busily crossing roads and hindering pathways. It annoyed him that he had to be assigned to look for this Nicholas Hyde and convince him to join DATS. Now, that would have been a very easy task if this one-eyed maniac was compliant. But no, he had to be a pain in the ass and run around the city. What was an employee supposed to do? Orders did say capture Dr. Hyde and bring him to the headquarters alive. Nobody mentioned about how he was supposed to be brought there. Given the size of Terabyte City, the man and his twins could be anywhere, hiding between nooks and crannies-- the search was almost impossible, things started to weigh down until... a loud crash from a nearby alley caught the tamer and his partner's attention. Immediately, both had ran towards the noise and upon arriving, his eyes met the backs of their target running away. "HEY!" He called out, accelerating in hopes to catch up with the guy. Clicking his tongue, he turned to his dobermon and nodded at him "We have to drive him to a dead end, or at least get him cornered."Without questions, the canine digimon complied and took the next turn, vanishing from sight. One basic rule everyone should know when you're chasing a potentially crazy person who's armed. Yelling out for them to stop never works. Ever. Second rule of thumb, shouting that out only gives the person your chasing prompts to turn around and fire at you with said weapon. Which was exactly what Hyde did as he ran, twisting his body to fire backwards. Granted, the shots weren't aimed to kill, merely drive the guy to take cover, or at the very least wound him and slow him down. After all the adventures Hyde had here, he had to keep reminding himself that humans, unlike Digimon, did not respawn n death, and that killing them was morally wrong. Damn morals.
"Sir, are you sure it's a good idea to be firing that thing in the middle of a public place?" Weiss spoke up as he flew alongside him. Good thing Puttimon could fly, otherwise Hyde wouldn't be able to keep up this pace. "Weiss, when people are trying to take your freedom, anything becomes acceptable," Hyde replied, firing a couple more shots before rounding a corner. It was almost amazing to see such a tall guy move that fast, but years of having people trying to kick your ass had forced him to hone his body into a fast, strong, ass kicking machine. That and the ladies loved it. The eyepatch also seemed to help. "You two. Keep an eye out. I don't see that guy's partner, and that damn mutt could be anywhere." "Gotcha sir!" Sable spoke up, flying higher to try and get a better look of the crowd, trying to spot the Dobermon.

A profanity escaped his mouth as he did his best to dodge all incoming attack; he pushed people, stepped on people, tackled people, headbutt people-- he was a human bulldozer and he swore that if curses and glares could he kill, he was already dead. But this was not his fault. "Sorry!" He yelled out, raising a hand for a moment before turning back to Dr. Jerkass, who was already turning to a corner. "WAIT UP DUDE. I JUST NEED TO--" He exclaimed but paused midway, gnarling "Dammit."The dobermon's was doing greatly, though compared to his human. The goddess of luck seemed to smile on him as Hyde appeared along with his floating meringue-esque digimon partners. He had no hesitation as he charged faster, visciously showing his fangs at the guy. No mercy for this person. "Dobermon!" His ears perked at the voice of his tamer, the guy appearing on the opposite side of the road "Watch out he's got a gun!" The data gun seemed to be doing its job we'll enough, causing the tamer chasing him to have to duck and dodge through the crowd, allowing Hyde to put enough distance between him and the tamer, rounding a corner and slipping out of sight. Seriously, did this guy think Hyde was going to stop because he told him to? This guy wasn't the first DATS tamer he had to deal with, and he most definitely knew he wouldn't be the last. However, while he putting distance between himself and the tamer, his Digimon partner, Dobermon, had other ideas, cutting him off, the massive canine was charging towards him like a junk yard dog, teeth bared, no doubt wanting to rip him apart like a steak. Hyde was no fool, he knew his gun wasn't very effective against Champions. However, he knew what was. "Now!" he yelled out. Hs two partners moved in the air ahead of him, their little bodies shaking to release a sort of powder into the air. Hyde quickly brought his hand up to cover his mouth as a small cloud formed between himself and Dobermon.

Hyde wasn't sure how this combined cloud of dust would effect Dobermon, but at the very least, it should throw the dog Digimon off enough for Hyde to get past him. Combining Weiss's relaxation inducing dust with Sable's excitement inducing dust should result in a nice little mind screw. |

[attr="class","modtext"]With a clear goal, it was impossible for the dobermon to lose concentration, even after being showered with powder-- a combined attack of the twin digimon. Was that suppose to hurt? Nothing bit, nothing stung; only that his sight got a bit blocked but even that wasn't too much of a problem. The canine jumped out of the cloud of dust safe and sound, no scratches or whatsoever. The tamer let out a heavy sigh upon the emergence of his own digimon, unharmed. Hyde's partners weren't a problem as long as they stay that way and it was a great advantage. The only thing he should be worried about was the gun. It posed harm not only to him but also the innocent bystanders of Terabyte city. "The weapon needs to go!" He exclaimed "Black beam now!" It was his turn now. Dobermon meant real business and so when he was given an order, he quickly executed it with no questions and no complaints. As he opened his mouth, a black energy ball the size of a golf ball formed in his mouth and immediately launched it at their target-- specifically at the data gun. The canine was a bit confident that he got the man because given their distance, dodging that laser beam was a matter of luck. Nicholas Hyde

Damn that dog had a one track mind! He had hoped the powder would have done something to throw off the Dobermon. But no such luck. And now Hyde had a damn energy ball flying towards him. The lanky man attempted to move to the side, to avoid the attack. He was, well, partially successful. The attack had missed its intended target, the datagun, but had instead hit Hyde right in the shoulder, causing the scientist to spin out, barely able to keep his balance before he was suddenly barreled over by the charging Dobermon. The next thing he knew, he was on the ground with a snarling dog in his face.
"Boss!" Sable cried out, wanting to run to her tamer's aid, but Weiss quickly intercepted her. They were still in their fresh stage while Dobermon was a champion. They'd get ripped apart. Hyde was glad Weiss had a good head on his shoulders (so to speak), as he glared up at the Digimon, before looking over at his tamer, acting almost unimpressed. "Care to get your attack dog off of me? Good lord his brew is enough to kill a Raremon. Just what do you feed this thing?" Let it be known that even when faced with possible mutilation, Hyde will still be insulting to your face.

[attr="class","modtext"]BINGO BABY! A large grin was pulled from the corners of the tamer's mouth when the attack hit Hyde's shoulder. Not exactly what he wanted but he could make adjustments. Although it would be foolish to assume victory over the war this early, it was just hard not to celebrate-- mean, just how many did DATS send to get this guy captured? A lot. But the people who got this far? Heh. Probably not so much. "Good work, bud," He said as he made his way towards the pinned man, before turning to inventor chuckling at his statement "Hold him still," He commanded, giving the digimon a nod. He crouched down near the one-eyed fugitive and flashed him a mocking smile "You're so feisty, it's almost cute," In a childish voice, he taunted "But to answer your question, it's TLC." A shrug fell from his shoulders, his eyes wandering until they met the datagun "I'll be confiscating this first, thank you." He didn't care if he was being rude or disrespectful and snatched the gun without no warnings. Hyde's expression immediately fell flat when the tamer gave that little 'feisty' comment. "Ok, I know you're probably new to this whole taunting thing, but calling a man several years older than you feisty and cute is not clever. It's creepy. You're creepy." He calmly watched as the tamer picked up his gun, continuing on with that almost smug demeanor of his. Oh how Hyde was going to enjoy kicking this kid's ass when he got this mutt off of him. His eye quickly glanced skyward where he could see his two partners flying overhead. Flying and glowing. A smirk appeared on Hyde's face as the glowing forms suddenly began to descend, before he looked back at the tamer. "For your information buddy, I don't struggle. I kick ass." and that's when they'd hear them. "Elastic Bubbles!" "Bubble Blow!"

ELASTIC BUBBLES - Motimon fires out stretchy bubbles to hamper the opponent's movements, slowly the movements of digimon rookie level or under by 25%

BUBBLE BLOW - Motimon fires out a stream of explosive bubbles at the target.
Weiss' attack would come down straight onto Dobermon's eyes (ouch), while Sable's would hit the dog Digimon right in the side. That would be before the forms of the two recently digivolved Motimon would land on Doberman as well. Hyde took this chance to try and throw the distracted Digimon off of him. If successful, he would immediately spring to his feet and launch himself at the smug tamer, intent on tackling him to the ground. [Weiss and Sable have digivolved into Motimon!] |

[attr="class","modtext"] "Creepy?" He raised an eyebrow as he put one hand akimbo. To be called creepy by someone with abnormally pointy teeth was just plain offensive. But whatever, aside from being amazingly condescending, this guy was reported to have a few loose screws in his core, so better just let that go. Shrugging off the remark, he pulled out his cellphone and began connecting with the headquarters, telling them about his success until... "Elastic Bubbles!"
"Bubble Blow!"Explosive bubble attacks were fully received by the Dobermon as he was unable to move due to the previous command given. It hurt but not so much-- what was agitating was the canine digimon had to catch both the slime-types as they fell on the ground, keeping him from running after Hyde. The tamer, on the other hand, found himself on the ground. His cellphone's speaker was bursting with questions regarding the sudden roughhousing. He cringed at this before turning to the inventor with a grim look in his eyes. Just as how these motimon were protective of their tamer, the dobermon was too and so quickly rose up to his feet, easily overthrowing the pink digimo, making a run towards the inventor. Hyde smirked as his attempt to free himself from Dobermon was successful, as well as his tackling of the tamer. Hyde was by no means a strange to having to kick ass, and with his added height, he could probably take the guy on in a fight. He quickly swung a punch aimed at the tamer's head, nothing really too devestating, just enough to disorient the man, and make him drop his gun. That was his weapon dammit!
Meanwhile, while the motimon had been enough of a distraction to get Dobermon off of their boss, they weren't really enough to keep the champion type digimon distracted for long. After all, they were only in-training up against a champion. They both let out a yelp as they were thrown off. That yelp alerted Hyde to the dog digimon quickly closing in on the pair of them. Hyde had to act quickly and knew just what to do. Grabbing the tamer by the scruff, he rolled the pair of them over, putting the tamer on top. Quickly pulling in his long legs, he pushed back against the tamer, trying to effectively throw the guy into his oncoming partner. At that same time, he tried to grab the discarded datagun, scrambling to his feet and launching a couple of shots, particularly at Dobermon as he quickly backed up. "Let's go guys!" he called out to his partners as he broke into a run, the twin digimon following to keep up.

[attr="class","modtext"] "Holy shit!" the tamer exclaimed upon being treated like a ragdoll, and being reminded how he needed to hit up the gym more. He felt some crack at the bottom of his spine. Now, that probably didn't mean good. Well, being tackled and thrown to the ground weren't both good signs. The dobermon, on the other hand, had successfully evaded his tamer's fall but had been shot once by the data gun. However, instead of letting out a whimper, he growled violently and grinned, showing once again his fangs "You alright?" The tamer asked as he picked himself up "Yeah, I had enough of this game too," The smug look on his face dissolved but his eyes remained glued at the back of Hyde and his partners "Go."The dobermon's growl continued to grow louder and once it reached its piqued, he let out a resonating bark before rocketing his way towards the trio. "Grey Noise, dobermon!" His tamer's voice was faint as he left him behind but every order from him was absolute. He took a deep breath, blowing it out along with an ear-piercing howl that would surely paralyze the in-training brats. Hyde was strong but his partners were no match against a champion. Hyde gave a very irritated growl. This was just getting annoying now. Hearing the Dobermon prepare his attack, Hyde did the natural thing, and dove to the side. However, his partners weren't so lucky, being hit by the sound, this little stretchy bodies locking up. "Dammit guys!" Hyde yelled out, quickly springing back, grabbing his two partners and making a run for the nearest alleyway.
Where a couple of numemon and a sukemon were playing cards. Guess the sewer munchers had to go somewhere to relax. After a very brief pause, Hyde moved to the nearest trash can, quickly stuffing his partners inside. "Stay quiet, and wait until it's safe before coming out," he hissed. He could hear the two DATS narks approaching. He suddenly reached out, grabbing Sukemon by the arm. "Sorry buddy, gotta borrow you for a second."[/color] he said, before suddenly hefting the screaming poop Digimon over his shoulder, intend on hitting that damn mutt with him when he came around the corner. Then, without missing a beat, and using one of the numemon as a footstool, he leaped up to grab hold of the fire escape, scrambling up it like his life depended on it.

[attr="class","modtext"]As he turned around the corner, the dobermon found himself being slammed by a Sukamon. It should have sent him on the floor but managed to take a last minute defensive stance. He slid backwards yet remained on all four. He gave his head a quick shake before resuming to his task. Dobermon once again let out an angry growl upon seeing Hyde, and was about to jump and reach the invetor's ankle though was stopped by a different command from his tamer. "Black beam, now!" The dobermon wasted no time and quickly aimed the laser the black-haired. As his digimon executed the move, the tamer, on the other hand, stepped on the same numemon and jumped to reach their target's ankle. Nicholas Hyde

Hyde let out an irritated grunt as he felt something grab hold of his ankle. He looked down to see that damn DATS tamer, having jumped up after him. "Let go dammit!" He hissed, bringing his leg up to kick him off before he noticed the Dobermon preparing to launch that attack of his. With a yelp, he let go of the fire exit, still holding on with one hand as he tried to swing out of the way. Thankfully, he was able to avoid the attack. Unfortunately, the attack instead crashed into the fire escape, causing it to break and sending the pair of them tumbling to the ground before, Hyde landing on the tamer, and the metal ladder landing on Hyde. Dammit!Hyde groaned, obviously hurt from the fall. Not as badly as he believed the tamer under him to be, but he still had to deal with a rather angry dobermon. "Well shit..."Suddenly, a bright light emitted from the trash can he had stuffed his partners in, before it seemed to explode, revealing two, small armour clad forms lunging towards Dobermon. "For our master!" "For the boss!" It seemed that they had managed to digivolve back into their rookie forms, Pawn Chessmon (White), and Pawn Chessmon (Black). Hyde smirked. About time those guys regained their forms. "Pawn Lightning!" Weiss yelled out, thrusting his spear out fast enough to generate a shockwave as Sable closed in from another angle. "Pawn Penetrate!"[Weiss and Sable have digivolved into Pawn Chessmon White and Black]
