No such luck for Claire- rookie Digimon claws were an even match for her sword. With a grunt of effort, she stepped back, pushed away by the monster's swat. At this point she was thankful that the attention was off her for the most part. Out of her peripheral vision she could see that one of the Agumon still remained out of the group that charged for the Spirit user, and that made her a tad concerned. She, of course, knew the risks, but would rather not be burned by a well-placed Pepper Breath, if possible.

Eyes narrowing, she went for the dinosaur again in silence, hoping to quickly overwhelm it at close range with aggressive but precise slashes before the other BlackAgumon came to its kin's aid.

Walter knew this was coming- no doubt the Ultimate level wouldn't be happy, to say the least, about his blasts. Time to go, lest be become barbecued bunny. No, thanks.

"Rabbit Run!" Walter kicked up his feet just in the nick of time to avoid the full force of the Triceramon's attack, but not before receiving a hard singe on the backside of his legs and tail. "Argh!" Luckily his armor provided just a little protection on the covered areas, but if he was honest, the Rabbitmon was lucky the heat didn't melt his own armor to his backside.

Gritting his teeth with pain, he bolted to the side of the gigantic dinosaur, then to the back where the tail swung. If he timed it correctly, with his agility he would be able to use the tail as a ramp to get on the monster's back.

With a leap that would hopefully lead to a continuous run along the Triceramon's tail and back, Walter attempted to get on top of the monster. He certainly had coordination to pull it off if his target were still, but with the tail's unpredictable movements, he was taking a risk of a hard blow. But the other lizard Digimon in the back had the right idea before- if he couldn't keep his run, he had to keep his diamond-sharp claws ready to dig in and hang on upon impact.

It hadn't taken very long for news of the situation to reach the people of Terabyte City. A Triceramon rampaging throughout the Savannah stirring up the more aggressive side of certain Digimon. They were attacking and destroying anything in sight. Sure, there was also news of others having already arrived to deal with the situation but that didn't stop people from panicking. In fact it was because other people had arrived to handle the threat that Riku didn't feel any desire to go. He wasn't a hero, he didn't need the fame, and no one was going to pay him for helping. Of course his plans to ignore the fiasco had changed. The leader of Hades Company had called him, something that didn't happen often. Apparently the boss wanted Riku to help with the situation. A way to give the company some good publicity, make sure the people knew that Hades Company wouldn't ignore things like this At least that had been the reason the boss had given the Spirit User. Riku couldn't help but feel like something else was going on behind the scenes. It wasn't his place to question orders though.

By the time Riku had managed to arrive on the scene the battle looked to have progress a great. He scanned the conflict from a distance and was capable of making out a few familar faces. The girl giving the Seadramon orders was definitely some he had met before, and he was pretty sure that goat boy was as well. The rest of them were basically all fresh faces to him, not that it mattered. The youth let out a soft sigh and cracked his neck, followed by popping his back into place. It wasn't often he got the chance to prepare himself thoroughly before a fight so he was going to make the best of it. Not that he needed much time. He had already good grasp of the situation from his first little glance over it. Like he knew that someone over there, likely the Seadramon, had the ability to summon rain. The area he was standing in might have been dry but it was raining cats and dogs on the actually battlefield. That alone was going to hinder some of his abilities but he was positive he'd managed. "Ready or not here I come." he muttered pulling out his D-Tector, a ring of data forming around his free hand.

Darkness began to crawl along the ground, creeping itself onto Riku's body. He could feel the entire weight of its power seeping into his skin as it covered him whole. It was a vastly different experince than the one he normally endured when transforming into Impmon. He knew it was because of the sheer difference in power between the two forms. The darkness had only been around his body for seconds but it had felt like minutes for Riku. He swung his hand to the side and as he did so the darkness around him was blasted away revealing something other than the boy. A large warrior clad in shiny black armor a cap flapping about in the wind, a double sided spear gripped tightly betwixt his hand. Dark Knightmon launched himself forward, jumping through as if the heavy armor wasn't even attached to his body. His body came crashing down onto the battlefield next to Tobias. The pitter patter of the rain against his armor echoing inside of his mind as he nudged the Champion out of the way of the flaming ball of magma. The red-hot fireball hit against Dark Knightmon instead of its intended target.

The knight of darkness found his body coursing with pain but he also felt a build up of power beginning to take place inside of him. Dark Knightmon didn't hesitate in counter attacking with a move of his own. His spear filled with a portion of his power a black outline appearing around the weapon. He then swiftly flung the spear forward, "Infernal Javelin!" they were so close that it was highly unlikely he'd be able to dodge. If Triceramon was even capable of movement at all right now. That also meant that Dark Knightmon or anyone else within a fifteen foot radius was shit out of luck too. Infernal Javelin had a nasty little habit of exploding upon contact with things.

Revenge - Dark Knightmon is a Digimon that was born for battle and it shows in its unique ability. The more damage that is inflicted upon Dark Knightmon the stronger he becomes. This increase in power happens in intervals of ten, and is only activated once he has taken at least two hits. What this means is that after two hits Dark Knightmon's power increases by 10%, and then after another two hits another 10% increase in power is gained.This boost in strength maxes out at 100% and will go no higher even if more hits are stacked up. Embodiment of Darkness - As the Spirit of Darkness Dark Knightmon acts as the very embodiment of the primordial force. It's that very fact that gives Dark Knightmon access to another unique and powerful ability. When fighting at night or in the Dark Area of the digital world Dark Knightmon receives a 10% percent boost to both his strength and defensive capabilities.

Infernal Javelin - Dark Knightmon will take aim with his 'Twin Spear' and then fill it with dark energy. He will then toss the weapon forward and upon making contact with a surface an explosion of dark energy will take place. The explosive dome of energy has a fifteen foot radius from the center of impact.

SET FIRE TO THE RAIN

The fireball made contact with the clone's flank; and even in spite of the Hive starting to kick itself into gear in the back of Katsuro's mind and forge a shield around them, and Shadramon's particular affinity for fire, as soon as it collided, the clone shattered and dissolved into a minimal stream of data, one of four mimicries collapsed.

Katsuro saw it and grunted, but soon enough, a Seadramon had called to the sky; clouds gathered rapidly, and it begun to rain. The Shadramon scowled down, just about making out a gir-- Harley? From the camp? That was... unexpected, to say the least. He abated his frustration for a few moments; a combination of the dinosaur's affinity for flames and the rain was not going to endear him.

He called his clones in a line above, and had the three remaining, one at a time, plummet down as if they would charge into the lumbering beast, before pulling up at the last minute, hopefully disorienting him. It felt like a paratrooper drop, each going sequentially after the other, before it came to Katsuro himself. He readied himself and ceased his hovering, toppling his centre of gravity to pull into a nosedive.

He watched the third clone miscalculate to find himself gored and immediately reduced to visualised fragments of data upon the dinosaur's horns; as if the stakes weren't high enough. His other two regrouped in the treeline, but as he descended, he held out his gauntlets, charging a glimmering spark in either of them, ready to bank and pull up at the last minute.

"FLASH BUSTER!" He roared, before pulling sharply upwards, releasing a burst of blinding light; it would be of course to no avail and assist nobody in melee range that side of Triceramon, possibly disorienting them too, but hopefully, it would have its desired effect on the target, stunning it for long enough that he could perhaps pitch in with enough basic kicks and punches from himself and his clones to whittle down its energy reserves further.

Katsuo's Stun Beat Blow continues to irritate Triceramon, but its paralysis has no effect on the Ultimate-level Digimon, especially considering it is also rooted to the spot. Triceramon uses TRIHORN CHARGE, hoping to gore Katsuo with a point-blank strike. The three BlackAgumon Katsuo leapt over also each start to fire more PEPPER BREATHS. Ogasawara, Katsuo

Pagu's Thunderhead is a direct hit! Triceramon is struck and shook from side to side; but it has angered the dinosaur, who is now ENRAGED! His eyes begin to tint red and he unleashes a harrowing roar, engaing JURASSIC ALLIANCE once more; a swarm of more BLACKAGUMON rush out of the treeline with a symphony of roars, accompanied by two TYRANNOMON, one of whom darts strait for Pagu, his head down in a melee charge. Annelise's Violent Pounce makes contact, but the enraged Triceramon is already flailing; it will not be pinned or stopped! It uses TAIL SLASH, trying to jab at the BlackGatomon with the razor-sharp spines on its tail, with great speed and force! Lisbeth Kendt

Claire's strikes manage to eliminate the first BlackAgumon, deleting it as it collapses into data; however, the second TYRANNOMON is now rushing towards her with its claws bared! As for Walter, however, Triceramon has felt it creep up its back and seemingly allowed it for now, provided Walter does not fall off immediately due to its flailing/deigns to go and assist his tamer. Katsuro's Flash Buster only adds to Triceramon's rage, blinding it and dizzying it temporarily, but only having a partial effect due to the level difference. It roars and stamps its feet, one at a time... in sequence... stomp... stomp... stomp... stomp...

The storm summoned by Pagu continues to rage, but another challenger appears on the horizon, raising a spear and charging it with energy after being struck by Magma Burst. Riku seems to have timed his entrance perfectly, raising the spear, and throwing it...

...as an earthquake begins to wrack the plains, and Triceramon uses TRIASSIC STOMP! A concussive shockwave erupts forwards in every direction, its epicentre Triceramon, and the ground begins to quiver and split, wracking from side to side those surrounding him, hopefully knocking them completely off their feet, including Katsuo (Ogasawara, Katsuo ), Annelise (Lisbeth Kendt ), and Walter (CLAIRE LYON ) who will likely be launched from Triceramon's back with great force!

The Infernal Javelin, however, is knocked clear by the resultant force a foot or two away from Triceramon -- this triggers its explosion of dark energy, however, which lashes out and tears at Triceramon's side, dealing him further damage, as the defensive buff from Triassic Stomp coats him in a glistening white glow as a defensive sheen wraps around him! Sadly the secondary effect of his barrage attack didn't affect the Triceramon and as it tried to ram its horns into him, Katsuo thankfully was able to dodge the attack by quick stepping to the right, though barely. That would have done some nasty damage if it had hit. What the Aegiomon however wasn't prepared for was the BlackAgumons and their Pepper Breaths, and so all of the balls of fire hit Katsuya, with the blast from the attacks pushing the Spirit Wielder. He didn't get too hurt by the attack, but the pain and the heat was strong enough to cause him grunt from pain and flinch a bit. While trying to think that how he should act now, with the BlackAgumon obviously being a bother, but they might leave if the Triceramon is defeated. Before being able to make a decision the Jurassic Digimon went ahead and summoned some more Digimons to assist it. This time 2 Tyrannomon's responded to the call. One went to fight against the Seadramon and the second one went towards one of the humans. Hey, wasn't that a really bad thing? "Oh, for fuck's sake!" Can this Ultimate be any bigger of a pussy? It already has the level advantage, so why does it have to be able to call for assistance? Must be Katsuo's bad luck in work. Being too occupied with worrying over about the sudden appearance of the Tyrannomons, the quake attack of Triceramon took him by surprise and hit full force, knocking him off-balance and damaging him at the same time. Things were getting hectic. Too hectic to be honest. Struggling to stand up back up, but able to do it, Katsuya was could have possibly tried to make an attack at the Triceramon, but he decided not to. Rather, he was going to against the Tyrannomon that had targeted the human. Not like the woman could fight the thing. Crouching and leaping away from the Triceramon, once Katsuo landed, he went in for a dash towards the Tyrannomon. Once close enough, the Aegiomon jumped straight towards the red dinosaur Digimon's head, using as much strength from his legs as possible. "IRON TRUST!" Katsuo yelled and kicked the Tyrannomon's face, using the power of his goat leg and the jump. STUN BEAT BLOW is cooling down and usable in the next post IRON TRUST, just a strong kick PROTECTOR'S SPIRIT is active, raising Katsuo's power by 50% and he can withstand one hit that would otherwise take him down. Crap.

While the Agumon was defeated, Claire now had quite the problem on her hands- a Champion-level Digimon had come to the Triceramon's aid, and the big red monster looked like it was locked onto her. Her sword? Useless against this thing, unless she could somehow get it through the head- she wasn't stupid or desperate enough to try throwing it, however, and opted instead to break into a full sprint away from the attacker.

Luckily for her, it seemed that someone was going to come to her aid- a Spirit User, but no one she immediately recognized. Perhaps she'd have to thank him later, if she got the chance. At least her impromptu allies were paying attention, but, woefully, not a one of them seemed to be able to Digivolve to the Ultimate level, which was proving to be a massive hindrance in taking down the rage-fueled animal.

Still running, she sheathed her sword with haste and roughly pulled off one of her gloves and placing two of her fingers in her mouth. A piercing whistle came from her lips and pierced through the air, but was cut off by a sudden earthquake- a lovely gift from their Ultimate friend. Like most likely many of the others, the woman was thrown off-balance mid run, tumbling to the ground. Though her clothes were thick enough to protect her from the scrapes that would have otherwise marred her skin, the impact still stunned her for a moment and with the Triassic Stomp in progress was unable to recover immediately.

Just as Walter was preparing a Diamond Claw attack, multiple things seemed to happen at once- Claire's whistle could be heard just for a second, causing the rabbit's ears to perk up with alarm at the signal. At almost the same time, Walter suddenly found himself flying into the air, tossed away with a hard buck like an inexperienced rodeo rider.

What he saw in the air, though only briefly, sent a jolt of anxiety through the rabbit. Besides the obvious main opponent, one of the two Tyrannomons were dangerously close to Claire. As resilient as she was, no human would be able to stand being crushed by that thing's feet... or worse!

SLIDE DIGIVOLUTION

Digivolving midair, Rabbitmon became Lekismon, and he wasted no time- using the force the Triceramon threw him with, he gathered his newfound energy to right himself, aiming to come down hard on the head of the Tyrannomon the Spirit User was attacking. "Moon Night Kick!"

The Triceramon could wait.

❝ It was a short lived mistake - it seemed that Pagu's assault only made the Triceramon call for yet more minions - and this time with a couple actually strong enough to occupy him for more than a couple seconds. Along with the two champion-level Tyrannomon came a large swarm of Blackagumon - a few ignoring her Digimon and going straight for her. Once again, Harley instantly deemed her pocket knife useless in this situation, it was starting to become a somewhat annoying reoccurring theme. Some of the other Tamers around her could probably help her, but they all seemed so distant or preoccupied at this point in time. They were just rookie levels - she could likely take a couple of them. The tamer looked at one of the dark dinosaur Digimon, and promptly kicked it straight in the nose. The Agumon variant flinched in pain, but quickly reared its back in place, launching a blind Pepper Breath towards the girl's feet. She was able to dodge this, the fire sizzling out on the wet ground, and issue another kick, this time at least knocking out the rookie level Digimon. It was but one of many, though. "Ugh, they're like roaches. We need to take out the bigger one!" The tamer yelled at her partner, realizing this swarm would likely not end until the Triceramon was defeated. The Seadramon noticed his partner's call, but was preoccupied with the two Tyrannomon that immediately charged him. The large dinosaurs hit him directly, causing the sea dragon to fall backwards with a loud crash. Harley looked in despair, allowing one of the rookie Digimon to catch her off guard and issue a large scratch to her arm, lacerating her flesh and creating a slight bleeding wound. She was quick to knock the creature off of her in this moment, being absorbed with her fallen Digimon, "Get up!" The dragon responded swiftly, springing back up to action and hitting one of the Tyrannomon with a MIND FREEZER attack, chilling the heat-based Digimon down to the bones. He then followed up with a mighty swing of his tail, attempting to sweep out the crimson dinosaurs from underneath their feet and place them at a disadvantage. Just to make sure, he would follow-up these two actions with another THUNDERHEAD attack, hopefully finishing them off. active boosts: + rain: it is raining. fire's power is diminished. electricity's power is increased. + passive - walk in the rain: offensive power and movement speed raised when aquatic digimon are wet. attacks used: + thunderhead + draconic tail + mind freezer

“What exactly are we doing?” Jack's backside rested against a flat-sided boulder, adding a certain echo to his lungs. “Look.” A simple response from a simple dragon digimon coincided with the question. Ocean-colored hues twisted and stretched behind giant pebble, into the far direction of his partner's view. With the hues growing much wider than normal, a consensus was made that they were dealing with something so much bigger than he could ever expect. Other digidestined, others just like him and their partners, were taking ground on a boss right out of a video game. It was more than just terrifying, but it wasn't exactly cool to show that in any way. “What in the hell is-” The chosen child was cut off by a slug into his left shoulder. “We need to help them.” Another simple response, but this one was heroic in nature. “Are you crazy!? You can't even digivolve yet!” Jack's volume twisted towards the end to ensure their stealth from the big baddie. “It doesn't mean we shouldn't help.” Vee couldn't sound anymore right. There wasn't a verbal counter offer this time, it was just a nod. Jack agreed with partner this time around, as it was after all, the cool thing to do. The bigger the numbers, the better. And if they happened to make it out alive, new allies wouldn't be so bad either. They just needed some plan of attack, but Vee wasn't going to wait for it. “Vee, stop!” Another shout from the chosen child drifted off into a lower echo. He was ignored, but not entirely. Vee just took it as a sign of caution. A flying kick from a Lekismon stomped towards one of a the Tyrannomon, as a Seadramon was having its way with another. Their corresponding tamers sat in the back dishing out commands as partners instead of leaders. Surely they were inflicting much more damage as champions, but the little blue rookie wasn't about to give up. “Use Vee-Blast!” A command this partner could finally agree to. Jaws unhinged as the spike on the Veemon's nose lifted clear into the air. A blue-tinted fireball birthed behind razor-sharp teeth before a sudden release. It soared through the air like a bullet, but didn't appear to have a whole lot of damage behind it. Its target was no other than one of the Tyrannomon. ○ VEE-BLAST - A basic projectile attack fired from the mouth. Rivals other rookie energy attacks.

"JESUS FUCKING CHRIST." That was the unison battle cry of both Lisbeth and Annelise as Triceramon's tail swung up to parry the cat digimon's attack, and as a swarm of tiny dinosaurs charged at Harley, also utterly ignoring Lisbeth, who was at this point, getting pretty pissed. Annelise managed to narrowly avoid being gored (AGAIN), by catching the blades with her own sharp claws, although being sent hurtling into the air was certainly not her idea of fun. she came down a few feet away from where she'd been, on his tail, as the earthquake struck. Not that it really fazed her, however, due to her CAT-LIKE REFLEXES. As everyone around her was tripped up by the tremors, she stood her ground, and moved to attack the beast, but just as she thought she was in the clear, the javelin struck. Why did it always have to be her... "Oh, for fuck's sa-" The explosion rocked the area around the Triceramon, including Annelise, and she was sent flying once more, this time quite far from the Jurassic behemoth. Well, at least someone was here with the right mindset to wreck this thing; collateral damage always works in superhero movies. Meanwhile, Lisbeth saw her chance to be a great hero as the swarm of BlackAgumon charged forth. Rather, she saw her opportunity to beat up a lot of rookie level Digimon, personally, and MAYBE, finally get Harley's ATTENTION. What a rude person, she was. As two of the smaller dinosaurs came by, she leapt out of the bushes, hoping to catch them off-guard from the side, as she mercilessly cracked down at them in rapid succession with her steel bat. "IT'S THE BOTTOM OF THE NINTH AGAINST THE EDGY REPTAR WANNABES, AND I'M CALLING MY SHO-SHO-SHO-SHOTS, EVERYBODY!" Annelise sighed in shame, without really knowing why, from across the battlefield. Tobias collapsed once the Magma burst AND the explosion of Riku's Infernal Javelin had made contact with his body. He was blown back by the force of it.
"Nn-urgh.." He groaned, staring at the sky as it was twisting and turning. "Darn it.." He cursed bitterly, before slowly getting to his feet and sending the Spirit Wielder a glare. Sure, they didn't know each other, but did the guy have to use an attack which hit others, too? At least give them a heads up.

Leaning on his legs, Tobias was catching his breath. Now that he had some distance on the Triceramon, the Dynogamon had some time to heal himself or an ally.
He looked around the battlefield, but did not find anyone that needed direct help.
Right, then he'd use his heal on himself instead.

"Dragon's Roar!" He shouted, and an ominous aura surrounded the dragon. Tobias instantly felt a little better, healing himself for 15%.

ALL THE GOLD AND THE GUNS IN THE WORLD

Howard had been observing the battle for some time already. From the very beginning actually. He just decided not to hop in straight away, as joining the battle right at the beginning wouldn't be too smart. Well, at least if you only have a Rookie level Digimon with you.

Stepping into the battle field with his Sistermon Noir, Hilda, following right after, Howard pulled his trusty, old combat knife from the its sheath, hanging from Howard's belt. Spinning the knife between his while inspecting the field and humming, Hilda stood there waiting for his tamer to make a decision.

"Alright! Follow me, Hilda." Howard chirped and went in for a dash, running towards the Triceramon. It was the very source of this whole ruckus and also the beastie that summoned all the other trouble makers, so it was safe to guess that things will calm down if it goes down. Of course a Rookie wouldn't be able to take down an Ultimate down, but Howard had an idea he wanted to try.

Once the pair was at the distance of 30 Howard made a stop, with Hilda stopping right next to him.
"Just try to shoot both of its eyes. If you get even one that's good." The man said to the Sistermon Noir, who nodded in response and raised her twin "Anthony" guns to point at the Jurassic Digimon. Before going ahead and pulling the trigger, the Digimon turned to look at her Tamer with a raised brow.
"Where are you going, Howie?" She asked from Howard, who had turned to look at a trio of BlackAgumon, which had been targeting the Aegiomon and was ready to start running at them.
"To contribute a bit to this battle myself. Don't worry. I'll be careful." The man grinned, adding some reassuring words at the end, before Hilda could even show any concern and made quick start, running at the BlackAgumons.

Once up close to the black reptile Digimon, Howard went in for a low kick in an attempt to trip over one of them and after that proceeded to the next one and made an attempt at plunging his knife at another one's eye. Right after Howard had made his run towards the BlackAgumon, Hilda turned back to look at the Triceramon and fired once with both of her guns, causing the sound of two gunshots. The trajectory of the bullets was so that they would both go just past the things head from both sides, but these weren't ordinary bullets.
"ANGLES SHOTS!" She yelled the moves name and at the same time made both bullets make a tight turn right towards the Triceramon's eyes. Howard could hear the gunshots clearly and he only could hope that a Rookie Digimon could damage an Ultimate one, if targeting a generally soft and weak spot.

The bullets, though their aim true, are far from deadly; the white defensive sheen of the Triceramon causes them to crumple and ricochet, but not without blocking its already-hindered vision and causing the Triceramon to recoil. It readies fireballs in its maw once more, before spitting them with even less warning: a MAGMA BURST, with two fireballs bound for the Sistermon Noir and her Tamer Howard, and the other two spinning towards the Dynogamon! But the Triceramon begins to pant, quivering: its energy reserves are diminishing, and the attacks are beginning to take their toll. The Ultimate will not be able to hold out much longer -- will the do-gooders succeed?

Walter made a smooth landing on the ground, his powerful legs bending to absorb the impact of the fall. Wasting no time, he pulled the valuable data into himself, ensuring one less Tyrannomon in the future- not something he particularly liked to do personally, but the Lekismon would be lying if he said he didn't get a thrill out of the way Claire looked at him when he performed well.

For her, anything.

As soon as he had obtained sufficient data, the rabbit made a mad dash for his partner, finding it much easier to move with the earthquake subsiding. More likely than not, she was fine- he knew her endurance rivaled his own- but still, he like any lover was concerned, and offered a gloved hand to help her up.

Claire was panting, but took it and offered her partner a smile. "Thank you, and good work- impressive, by the way," she commented, looking over his new form. Excellent- tipping the scales with another champion form could be just what they needed in this fight. Surely, with so many attackers, it wouldn't be holding out for too much longer, and indeed, she could see it panting and shaking.

Though Claire had already turned her attention back to the problem at hand, Walter was momentarily preoccupied with her words. As succinct as her compliment had been, if the rabbit Digimon could have blushed, he would have. "Ah-hem... Nothing you haven't seen before." He cleared his throat and turned his attention toward the Triceramon. "Shall we, then?"

"All yours," she replied, gesturing calmly as the monster fired off two more fireballs, thankfully not anywhere near them. "If there's major trouble, you'll hear me. I'll be close." She glanced back to check on the Spirit User that had assisted them, but made no move toward him, instead choosing to keep a lookout for more reinforcements- if the Ultimate was going to play like that, they needed some people and Digimon on the lookout.

"I'd rather you be safe," he sighed, but dashed forward, preparing a sphere of ice in his glove at the same time. "Goodnight Bomb!" Stopping short a small distance away diagonal to the Triceramon from the front, he hurled the crystallized ball toward his opponent, aiming for the face- but even if he missed his target, as long as he was close enough, it should have the desired effect.

The Tyrannomon went down with the combined powers of Katsuo and the Lekismon, who seemed to be the partner of the woman. The Aegiomon hesitantly looked at the data that used to form the Tyrannomon. Now would be the perfect chance to assimilate it and get a boost in power, but Katsuo honestly wasn't sure if he wanted to do it. The thing hadn't probably even willingly joined the battle, as it had responded to Triceramon's call, which could have some kind of capabilities of controlling certain Digimon, but it's not like Katsuo could know for sure. He however ended up assimilating the data, as the Lekismon had went ahead to do so. The Tyrannomon was at that point already erased, so Katsuo taking the rest wouldn't have mattered. With that said and done, the Triceramon itself seemed to be rather tired at this point, so things seemed to start wrapping up. Katsuo wasn't going to waste any time anymore and decided to now wait for a good chance to strike with his strongest move. Raising his arm to the level of his shoulder, the Aegiomon began charging it with lightning. At first only a small amount of electricity surrounded his arm, but at a steady pace the amount raised and wild, blue lightning seemed like it was close to burst from the Spirit Wielder's arm, but he kept charging the move. RAIMEI BREAK is charging and is usable on the next post. PROTECTOR'S SPIRIT is active, raising Katsuo's power by 50% and he can withstand one hit that would otherwise take him down. Damn, even with being so close all he managed to do was scrape it with the dark explosion. To make it worse that damn earthquake had caused him to lose his balance. Luckily the dino didn't seem to take notice of him, even with the damage had done. Worked out perfectly for Dark Knightmon as it allowed him a chance to retrieve his spear from the ground. Even now it still hadn't bothered to notice him too busy dealing with everyone else and calling back up. He really should have greatful but honestly all it did was make Riku feel ignored, and he really didn't like that. His grip on the twin spear tightened and he took a couple of steps backward, it was time he showed this overgrown monstrosity what it meant to fuck with darkness. An aura of darkness coated the knight and it quickly split itself off from him, giving shape to another form. A second Dark Knightmon stood next to the first, and while equally in size it was not equally in power.

"Ohh don't tell me you plan on doing something....life threatening? All to get a little attention too huh?  The things you do for that company of yours. I love it."

Riku wasn't sure if his spirit knew that if what he had planned didn't work out they'd be screwed. If he did know, he certainly didn't seem to care about the way Riku was risking his life. He didn't exactly have a lot of time for an internal struggle though, so he put his plan into action. Dark Knightmon's body bursted into black flames, the power of which caused even him to take damage from them. The rain might have been weakening the strength of fire attacks but Hellfire Overload also imbued his strikes with the strength of darkness. He turned his flaming body towards his copy and gave a nod. The mimic already knew what to do as it take aim with its own spear, and flung it towards the Triceramon. Another blast of Infernal Javelin imminent. 

Meanwhile the real Dark Knightmon made its way closer to the intended target, not fearing the impact of his clones attack. Instead once he was close enough he buckled his knees and held his spear to his side. The flames around his body began to dance rapidly anticipating his next attack. "Hellfire Vortex!" he spun his entire body turning into a mass of dark flames as he attempted to cut into the Ultimate. He was playing a dangerous game getting this close, but it was the only type of game that Riku knew how to play.

Revenge - Dark Knightmon is a Digimon that was born for battle and it shows in its unique ability. The more damage that is inflicted upon Dark Knightmon the stronger he becomes. This increase in power happens in intervals of ten, and is only activated once he has taken at least two hits. What this means is that after two hits Dark Knightmon's power increases by 10%, and then after another two hits another 10% increase in power is gained.This boost in strength maxes out at 100% and will go no higher even if more hits are stacked up. [4/50 Hits] 20% Increase

Embodiment of Darkness - As the Spirit of Darkness Dark Knightmon acts as the very embodiment of the primordial force. It's that very fact that gives Dark Knightmon access to another unique and powerful ability. When fighting at night or in the Dark Area of the digital world Dark Knightmon receives a 10% percent boost to both his strength and defensive capabilities.

Unstoppable Force - Members of Hades Company are always pushing themselves to the limit. They charge forward like...well an Unstoppable Force. It's this iron will and desire to prove themselves in the face of hardships that gives members who are Rookie or above in level a special ability. When faced with an attack that is one level higher(or the same level) than their current form they are capable of brushing it off as though it never happened. Unfortunately they are only capable of doing it once. [Not Used]

Infernal Javelin - Dark Knightmon will take aim with his 'Twin Spear' and then fill it with dark energy. He will then toss the weapon forward and upon making contact with a surface an explosion of dark energy will take place. The explosive dome of energy has a fifteen foot radius from the center of impact. [50% Power]

Dark Doppler - Dark Knightmon's entire body will be coated in an aura of darkness before he takes a step forward. The darkness will lift from his body and form into a solid copy of himself. This mimic of himself is weaker(50%) than the actually Dark Knightmon(doesn't have access to Revenge), but is still capable of fighting on its own. It has access to Dark Knightmon's Infernal Javelin and Hellfire Vortex attack and can take a total of three hits before fading. Should the hit count not be reached it stays active for four turns. 5 Turn Cooldown

Hellfire Overload - Hellfire Overload- His entire body will burst into black flames imbuing all of his attacks with both darkness and fire damage. The flames around Dark Knightmon's body don't just enhance his attacks they also burn away at whatever he hits as he fights. Similar to Impmon's Hellfire Slash in how they stay on their target for a total of two turns before fading away. Dark Knightmon is capable of keeping this buff active for four turns but can end it sooner if he pleases. While active Dark Knightmon is slowly taking damage from his own attack (triggering another stack of the Revenge buff once every two turns whilst it's active). 6 Turn Cooldown

Hellfire Vortex - As he bends his knees and holds his weapon behind him Dark Knightmon's 'Twin Spear' will become engulfed in black hellfire. The dark knight will then spin himself around becoming vortex of black flames that slowly pulls the enemy closer to him. Anyone caught within range of the vortex is dealt a large chunk of damage both from the Twin Spear and the hellfire.
