Blake Winchester Obasi Azikiwe Red Mantle Haruto MoriThe ocean air could be felt high in the sky as Zachary and his champion-level digimon, Mytholomon, flew through the sky towards their destination. Having heard the rumors from Terabyte City, Zachary had decided to investigate the rumors-- of mysterious digimon that actually dropped cards! It was a great opportunity to perhaps get some rare cards as well as explore this new section of the digital world. They were now flying through the Coela Coast, the glistening and bright beach region of the south end of the digital world-- along with the ocean over it. In the distance, they could see a small bunch of islands surrounded by the blue glistening waters of the digital sea. Astride on Mytholomon, Zachary could see the islands below, with Blake behind him with his own digimon as well. It was a bit more of a haul for Mytholomon to carry all 3 of them, but for now he was able to carry them all, despite moving at a slower pace. Looking over the edge of Mytholomon, Zachary could see the first of the islands. " This should be the place, Mytholomon. Luckily all the island seem to be closely connected. You guys doing okay back there? " Zachary asked to his friend Blake behind him and Barkmon. Mytholomon let out a soft growl as he flew, flapping his flaming wings. " I just hope this isn't a wild goose chase. " the large panther replied, flying towards the island. " Well it may be, but I would regret it if we didn't check it out. Think about it, Mytholomon," Zachary said, " Free cards. I mean these creatures may be able to produce them. We just catch a few I bet would be awesome! Please Mytholomon, for me? " Zachary suggested. The large panther sighed and soon began hid descent towards the island. " Alright, alright. Its not like I don't recognize those cards are of value to you. " he said. After a small dive and pull, Mytholomon landed upon the shore of the closest island. As his paws met the sand and everyone got off-- his form changed, and glowed. His body shrunk and he returned to his form of Panthermon. THe panther stretched his limbs out, his claws leaving trails in the sand below him as they stood before a lush jungle forest upon the island. " Okay, so how should we start?" Zachary asked his friends. (OOC: Aside from Blake, other members should arrive their own way or just happen to be there)

[googlefont="Ubuntu"] Kiss ✰ Me "HEY!" Zachary and his partner would hear a familiar youthful voice calling from the distance, and if they turned to look towards where the sound came from they'd see a fiery streak, almost like that of a shooting star or a meteor rapidly making its way towards them.
But once it got close enough to make its features discernible they'd see that it was merely Haruto; the pink haired rookie member of the Nexus riding upon the winged back of a Firamon. "Don't forget about us!" Of course the male had heard about the rumors in Terabyte City, after all, the rumor mill makes sure that by the end of the day everyone and their Babamon knew about it; all it took for him to get there as fast as he could was Havoc side-evolving to his other Champion form and in no time at all they were closing in on the island.
The fact that they had seen -and felt- Zachary's figure and signature in the distance as he rode his own winged feline only made this much better; they wouldn't be alone in this endeavor! Finally touching the ground, the teen dismounted the Firamon's back, his knees wobbling slightly as he tried to get his bearings back together after that heart-pumping flight. "W-wow, you're certainly fast in that form, Havoc." Havoc merely puffed up his chest in pride, preening at the attention. "Always willing to please you, Haruto." The winged lion of fire teased with a small draw in his voice.
Turning towards his Boss and his Digimon he smiled sheepishly back at them, one hand rubbing the back of his head. "I hope you don't mind us crashing with you in this adventure?" A lot had changed in the past few months, and if you were to tell the teen he would be riding on the back of a giant feline with burning wings he would have laughed thinking it to be pure fantasy. Though this was very much real, and he was experiencing this riding on the back of his friends partner digimon panthermon’s champion form Mytholomon. During the long, and pressing flight Zach would turn to face the duo asking them if they were alright. “Yeah, I am fine, but I am not so sure about Blue here.” The blue, and white hound with bat like ears was hunched into a ball with a green shade between his eyes. “Little fella must not like flying too much.” Looking down at the island they were about to make their descent upon he would smile “Man, I really hope this place has those cards we are looking for. We would be able to create one heck of a deck, and trump most of those baddies that attempt to confront us.”
As they landed the young man would leap off of the back of the feline, and Blue would follow suit immediately going to the ground. Worshiping the solid ground at his feet, which would bring about an intense laughter from the young tamer. “Well, I see someone is really glad to be here.” After finishing his sentence he would note a male landing on another fire endowed feline. Pulling out his digivice he would scan the data on the digimon. “Firamon, Champion Level, Vaccine Attribute, Beast Type.

Blake Winchester Obasi Azikiwe Red Mantle Haruto Mori Landing and returning to his true form, Panthermon observed as Barkmon kind of was not up for flying. A chuckle escaped the cat as he continued to stretch and get adjusted back into his smaller form. " Just glad the guy didn't vomit on me," The cat said, poking a bit of humor at Blake's digimon. The two digimon got along, but were often playful in the spirit of cats vs. dogs at times At mention of blake's desire for cards too, Zachary nodded. " We can't be sure how they are here, but if that Hookmon said was true, it should be within this island chain. I'm just not sure how digimon could create them. I mean, I never heard of a digimon in any of the games or card games that could produce em." he explained. Just then, the sound of other wings interrupted him. Turning around, he found another flying cat-- Firamon. As Blake scanned and identified him, Zachary soon recognized him. It was Haruto, one of the newer members to Nexus. Though he seemed a bit young acting and even a bit insecure at times, he was a friendly person and with a strong digimon as well. A lion digimon-- a fellow cat lover as well. Either way, Zachary was always happy to see Haruto around and knew he meant good intent in his actions. " Hey there, Haruto! " Zachary said, waving to him and calling him over. " No problem. The more the merrier. At least I think so," Looking around, Panthermon assessed their environment. It was indeed a jungle zone, and while still surrounded by water, it was still an area the panther could easily travel through. " I don't sense any hostile digimon for the time being. We should be clear to explore this jungle, but still be on alert. " the panther said, looking to the obscure jungle up ahead of them. Agreeing with his partner digimon, Zachary nodded and urged them to move forward. Zachary pushed a few loose palm branches out of the way and began to make his way through into the jungle of the island. " How did you even know we were coming out here, Haruto? " Zachary asked, not sure how he learned where they were going. The rich jungle echoed the sound of wild birds and animals. What animals they did see were around, but of course in the digital world it was hard to tell what was natural or artificial. Either way it was a blend of the two that made the place very unreal. They hopped over logs, moved vines out of the way as they explored the area. However, they didn't find any digimon around-- not yet anyway. " I wish i had more to go on. I mean, HOokmon said it was a digimon among these keys, but I am sure its not just one digimon who has it," Zachary mused as they continued. " Just wish I knew what this thing looked like." Panthermon growled as he hopped up a tree to look around next to the group, traveling from limb to limb. " Maybe because Hookmon are known for looking for fictional treasures," the cat said in a pessimistic tone. Zachary rolled his eyes at his partner's skepticism and kept moving with the others.

[googlefont="Ubuntu"] Kiss ✰ Me Haruto merely grinned back at Zachary and followed the others close behind; not willing to get lost in such a strange jungle like this one. It would be his luck if he missed everyone and a Digimon chose to attack him since he was vulnerable without his partner Digimon. But feeling the slowly smoldering heat of Havoc's fur close to him settle down his nervousness and hesitation, a good thing since his boss asked him a question. "Oh you know how rumors work, once people start gossiping everyone will know by the end of the day. I just followed the coordinates and soon enough my Digivice detected your signature not too far ahead."
Havoc didn't mind being scanned by the human known as Blake with his Digimon Partner Blue by his side. Though most of his attention was set on his Tamer to make sure nothing happened to him, as they moved forward he made sure to move much of the foliage impeding their way be it by breathing a small amount of fire to turn it to ashes or slicing them apart so their way was less obstructed by the vines and large branches. "Do you spot anything over there?" Havoc asked the Panthermon slowly stalking across the limbs of the trees above them.
"Well, you know what they say," Haruto tried to be optimistic. "Rumors always have some base of truth on it; we just need to keep looking and we'd sure find it!" If he was honest with himself he was also started to get a bit pessimistic with the thought that perhaps coming all the way over here was a complete waste of time, but he wisely didn't make any comments about it and instead chose to keep it to himself. Blake would smirk at the interaction between Panthermon, and Blue it was like the old saying cats and dogs. Then the newfound ally would begin his journey with the group, and a sense of inferiority would begin to wash across the young tamer. “I’m sorry for being such a burden fella’s I don’t think Blue, and myself will be strong enough to do much if a strong enemy were to encounter us.” The small dog would pull his knife from its sheath with his mouth, and would begin to cut small trees out of their way. “I guess its good that we can’t detect any hostile digimon in the area; might mean that the treasure hunters have given up on the quest, and ruled it a legend.” The boy would pull his digivice out, and would look at the beautiful area; “I believe that this journey will not be for not because at the very least we got to see some of the most beautiful terrain I believe I have ever laid eyes on.” Blake’s mind would then wander to back when he first started competing in card tournaments, and how he felt not knowing how to play as well as the others. With hard work, and dedication he was able to become his regional champion how was this any different? He was just new to it was all. Zachary Scryer Haruto Mori

Red Mantle Blake Winchester Haruto Mori " But -- I-- what--" Zachary was confused how Haruto knew about his search and was worried if others knew and was gonna follow him as well. " I mean, how did you learn we were on a hunt for digimon that said to stash cards?" Zachary asked him, unsure how he knew and was of course afraid he set events in motion-- like a certain evil tamer he knew of who would try to pull the carpet from under them. Blake suddenly went to say sorry that he was a burden to them, to which Zachary turned around, his hands up defensively. " Whoh-whoh, no one said you were a burden, man! It's cool. I'm glad for the company, really. Besides, I invited you knowing if this rumor was indeed true, you would probably benefit more than me. You know, cards and all that," Zachary said, smiling at him. " But yeah, I guess i didn't think of that. If Panthermon can't sense any threats, then perhaps I am worrying over nothing. Anyway Haruto, its good to have you with us as well. " As they continued through the thick jungle, Zachary jumped over another tree and ducked another branch as Panthermon easily strolled along the branches. Hearing Havoc's/Firamon's response, Panthermon looked down at him. " Nothing yet," Panthermon grumbled, clearly having a different opinion of their trip. " But Blake is right. It is still a good chance to explore this area of the digital world," Zachary countered, trying to not think about it being a wild goose chase. " Anyway I got a good feeling about this." Just as Panthermon was about to rebuttle, his fur stood on end and he crouched lower on the branch he was climbing. " Wait.." Panthermon said with a hushing tone, causing everyone to stop. " I hear something... up ahead..." With his soft growl, he blended into the surroundings and became invisible for a short moment. Waving for the others, Zachary pressed forward quietly and calmly, being careful where he stepped. They passed a few more bushes, approaching a small grove-- and that was when they saw it. In a small clearing in the jungle. The oddest digimon Zachary had seen yet. In the center of the clearing, floating around like some stray soap bubble was an odd little digimon. It hovered in the air with two little flap-objects levitating with its body. It made soft little chirping noises. Moving towards a small stream that cut through the clearing, it was playing near the water. At that time, Panthermon reappeared nearby on the branch nearest to them, looking at it as well as the others. " Never seen a digimon like that before, that is for sure," the panther whispered softly. Zachary soon got out his digivice and opened the advance reader, causing multiple hologram screens to pop up-- far more than the regular D Powers did. With it, Zachary saw the same digimon image appear, as a cherubic little ball with the strange card-shaped objects levitating around its body. " Okay... let's see," Zachary said, as he looked it over, but soon was puzzled by what he found. " Wait a minute... It dosn't have alot of data. It only says its name is Cardmon. Free Attribute-- no type, or even a level indicator. Not even a special attack. " Zachary shared with the others, showing them how the advance reader didn't recognize the digimon. However, while they were still hidden, Zachary found one more little circle reader that he missed. " Hold on, there is some minor information here. " He said as he began to read it aloud. " This little digimon is not often seen and is coveted for its unique genetic make up-- allowing it to generate and create digimon cards from its body. Often gather in small tribes and are peaceful creatures by nature, though sometimes playful and elusive." he said, finishing the description. It was them. They found the digimon Zachary was searching for-- Cardmon, a digimon who could actually create cards. Cardmon link if you wanna learn more

SOON AS THE FIRST ROUND STARTS, YOU'VE BEEN BEAT, YOU'RE IN DEEP.
Coela Coast was one of the Digital World's hidden gems, aside from its obvious material value as a prime vacationing spot for those who sought respite and refuge from the politicking and fighting that all of society seemed embroiled within. The salty ocean air provided a stark contrast to the smog-riddled industrial complexes and the energy-wasting corporate office buildings that rapidly sprung up within every major city. It was slowly becoming more and more like his former home, the world he had come from, where all humans originated. And, in a way, it made the mysterious "Red Mantle" all the more saddened by this rapid advancement. Back then, the Digital World was far more selective over whom it chose to bear a Digivice, to uphold the honorable purpose of cleansing the world of darkness. Nowadays, Tamers and Spirit Wielders seemed to just "pop up" without warning. Clearly, there was a far more sinister game afoot. Something is tampering with the balance, and all it has done is create needless victims out of people who are not ready to accept the responsibilities that were thrust upon them. How can they be, when all they are given awareness of is the special connection to the Digimon programmed exclusively for them? There were so many answers he wanted to find. Maybe Coela Coast held the proper clues? — — — — —
"Boss, I'm hungry!" Complained his Veemon ally, Blue, who tugged at the collar of his shabby brown cloak to express his discomfort on a physical plane. "When are we gonna go get McBurgermon's again?" Mental projections of chicken nuggers dances around the Rookie's head, tormenting him as his stomach churned from (what he perceived as) starvation. The Red Mantle sighed, having been asked this question for the fourth consecutive time in a row. "You have plenty of opportunities to travel to any city and get it on your own," he reminded with a mildly annoyed tone of voice, his steel grey eyes focused on a chain of islands off in the distance. Was there a way to get across? Blue snorted in annoyance, folding his arms into his chest. "Yeah, but it ain't no fun goin' out fer food widdout people ta talk to," It was so typical of Red to push aside the more important things in life — good food, good booze, tons of money, unlimited low-quality cable television — in favor of pursuing his own, significantly more boring endeavors. Blue shrugged, "You gotta chill out fer once in yer life, man. Let off some slack, hit da beaches and soak in some sun! Why be here if we ain't gonna have some fun?"The warrior with no name shook his head. "Stay focused, Blue." Begrudgingly, the Veemon nodded in compliance with his Tamer's wishes, casting weary glances every which way in the hopes that he would find some kind of fruit-bearing tree, anything that could give him sustenance, even if only a small inkling of nourishment. Hell, the sand itself was starting to look like piles of granulated sugar... "Easy fer you ta say..." Blue muttered under his breath. After several minutes of searching, neither of them had found signs of a pier or dock from which to cast themselves out to sea. In that stretch of time, the Mantle had caught a glimpse of what he could only make out as a vaguely line-shaped streak of fire heading its way towards one of the islands. Who, or what, was that? And where was it going? Reaching into a hidden pocket near his belt line, the white-haired man retrieved a card depicting an image of the Royal Knight Gallantmon's steed of choice, Grani, a sentient aerial mount categorized as one of the "ZERO-ARMS". He could summon the flying vehicle for Blue to investigate, but to do so would possibly draw unwanted attention, especially from whatever had just flown by. For the time being, he deliberated on a course of action, studying the Grani card.
[I'll probably have Red meet with you guys later in the thread, if that's cool. Figured I'd at least drop him here first, lol.]

[googlefont="Ubuntu"] Kiss ✰ Me "Cards?" Haruto blinked at Zachary; clearly whatever rumors he had heard did not mentioned that it was about cards of all things. "I just heard that there was a newly discovered island of some kind, rumored to possess a treasure of some kind in its depths; so feeling like nothing to lose I decided to come here myself."
It was clear that Haruto did not hear the real story from Hookmon himself, instead he had been listening to two other Digimon talking about it and then he heard another gossip with the bartender and then by the armor shop and by the time his curiosity got the best of him to ask the real history got so muddled and paraphrased that no one knew the real deal anymore.
Turning towards Blake the pink-haired teen frowned slightly. "You're not a burden, dude. After all, strength in numbers and all that?" It was clear he wasn't the best when it came to reassuring complete strangers or merely acquaintances if it had been one of his precious set of friends he might have done a better job, but as it stood he didn't know Blake well enough to make an adequate effort without coming off as overbearing or strange.
Merely humming thoughtfully back at the Panthermon the Firamon continued padding forth side by side with his Tamer until finally, they stumbled upon something strange; which considering the Digital World was already strange, to begin with, so that was saying a lot.
"Man, if the Digivice doesn't even have much information about it; perhaps it is a new species of Digimon?" Haruto took a shot in the dark there, for all he knew the Digivice was just malfunctioning or something. Though it seemed that Zachary overlooked a small piece of information which he quickly made sure to read to the others. "So this little thing can create cards?" Havoc asked dubiously while taking another look at the oddly cute Digimon. "What should we do then?" Should they attack? Talk it out with it to get some cards?
It was hard to say what they should do now, so the Tamer looked at his Boss for some sort of answers or orders.

Blake Winchester Haruto Mori Red Mantle ( Blake Winchester has gone mia suddenly, so we are gonna move on without him for now. Sorry ) Zachary and Haruto were now there looking over the curious little round digimon, bobbing along with the strange card-shaped wings. Both their digimon, cat-like digimon in their own rights were crouched in hiding, waiting to pounce on the little digimon. Zachary felt bad to simply attack the little digimon. It was hardly a bad digimon. " I think the answer is obvious," Panthermon said, crouching lower on the branch. " We catch it. We catch it, and I am sure it will be forced to give us the cards we want." The cat seemed keen on pouncing on it. Perhaps it was all about the predatory instinct going on. Zachary shook his head. " Well, lets just try at least. Just catch it okay for a start." There was a pause as the little cardmon fluttered by to the center of the clearing and then-- RRAAAAWW!Panthermon roared and pounced, trying to catch the little cardmon like a ball! However, seeing it jump out from the bushes, Cardmon jumped and sped across the ground, going right under Panthermon! As it ran for the bushes, Zachary hopped out as well. " Cardmon! Hold on, we just--!" Zachary spoke but... "EEEK!" the little cardmon chirped and simply darted another direction. For being a tiny little ball of a digimon-- he was slippery and fast as he attempted to flee into the jungle ahead of them.

Quickly mounting his Digimon's back, the fiery winged lion quickly gave chase to the fleeing Cardmon, his enhanced speed being enough to at least keep pace with the running Digimon, but would it be enough to catch it before it completely disappeared?
"Zachary!" Haruto used the comm link he had Nexus install in his Digivice, helpful to speak with other members of the organization without having to be face to face with them. "I'm trying to catch it, but I'm gonna need your help. After all, four heads are better than one, aye?" Hopefully they could catch this thing if they worked together.

SOON AS THE FIRST ROUND STARTS, YOU'VE BEEN BEAT, YOU'RE IN DEEP.
The Red Mantle's crooked eyebrows furrowed. He wasn't willing to let that fiery streak in the distance rest, as it danced across the surface of his mind as though the memory was stuck on repeat. He had to investigate the situation, but doing it himself would likely raise alarms. He had to make Blue go. "Blue," the tanned warrior called out, tilting his head so that the gastronomically ailing Veemon could better hear his calm yet firm tone. "I need you to conduct some surveillance on that chain of islands over there. Do that, and I'll buy you whatever you want when you come back." Try as hard as he did to resist doing so, a warm smile crossed his face for a moment –– a gesture the queasy Digimon caught a glimpse of, and one that brought complete elation to his face. "Really!? Yes, sir! Yer da boss, boss!" Blue cheered in triumph as he leaped for joy, pumping his fists in the air expressively as his brown cloak flapped and swayed like a flag in the ocean breeze. "I'm gonna get all da McNugger boxes I can stuff my face wit!" Red sighed with slight distress, rubbing at his temples. "Take it easy, Blue, I have to prepare you first," he reminded him, applying an increase of tension to his voice to better get the gravity of his assignment across. It was irrelevant, though: the chipper Veemon had agreed in full, compelled entirely by faith and self-assurance, knowing he would receive his reward if he did a good job. Reaching beneath the scarlet cape that hung at his waist line, the Red Mantle retrieved his D-Power –– it was a gaudy little thing, this gadget, with far more gold-plated accents than he knew what to do with. But, it was something, and it worked when he needed it to. In his other hand was the Grani card, but he would reach beneath his cape again in order to fetch a second, code-imprinted card: one that depicted a peculiar, key-shaped sword. With a series of dynamic arm movements invoking his ingrained martial arts training, the warrior without a name slid the first card into the tiny slot built into his Digivice, pulling it through as fast as he could while arcs of static energy sprang from the card's bar code. "Digi-Modify! Gallantmon's Grani, activate!" In a brilliant flicker of light and data, a wireframe model slowly materialized into view until this hollow structure began to manifest what appeared to be crimson armor that took after draconic imagery, resulting in the creation of what ultimately appeared like a flying hovercraft that a single individual could pilot. Not even several seconds after the Royal Knight's steed had come into being, the Mantle moved to slide the second card into his D-Power, calling out its name as he did with the first. "Digi-Modify! ClavisAngemon's Key, activate!" Blue yelped as the name of the card was revealed to him, quickly reminding him that he was about to receive a piece of equipment that would aim to help him defend himself in the event he found trouble –– and that usually ended up being the case, knowing his luck. Thrusting an open hand forward, a segmented beam of white light manifested before the Rookie as it took the shape of an odd weapon that appeared to be a physical cross between a sword, a javelin, and a key. Simple and strange as it looked, its heavenly imagery suggested that, even at a downgraded level, it was not a weapon to underestimate. "Dis won't take long, boss. Leave it ta me!" Blue asserted as he flourished his new weapon with style and skill, hopping up in order to mount Grani's back; as he did so, a pair of metal loops extended themselves from the biomechanical creature's armor to properly secure him down, so as to avoid any unwanted "accidents". "Let's wing it, Grani!" He dug his heels into Grani's back, activating a set of lower thrusters that propelled him vertically before Blue leaned forward, taking off like a fighter plane from an air strip, streaking across the water as it split apart from the pure force created by his flying steed's back burners. The Mantle sighed again. Here's hoping he didn't forget the stealth implications behind the word "surveillance" this time. Cards Currently ActiveClavisAngemon's Key (3 rounds) Gallantmon's Grani (3 rounds) Blue will arrive your way next round. Expect an obligatory Kingdom Hearts reference, lel

Haruto Mori Red Mantle Blake Winchester Zachary and Panthermon's little tag attempt didn't work well-- as Cardmon zipped away, to then run into the predatory claws of Firamon. However, with Haruto upon his back all the same chased after the same target. Zachary indeed followed Haruto's suggestion as they all tried to converge on the same target. However... Cardmon was clever and fast. Each time Firamon would try and catch him-- he would dart in another direction or slip under them. THe little guy was super quick as he would retreat into the trees, moving in the eastern direction!. Clearly of course, Firamon was far faster than Panthermon or Zachary on foot-- but this was hardly a battle of power or combat to fight an enemy. Even destroying Cardmon was not an option. It was more like high stakes tag from the way things were evolving as the little sprite-like digimon zipped away deeper into the forest. It now had evaded Firamon and ducked into a hollow log, following it out and reaching to a small stream. " I got it! I got it--!" Panthermon shouted as he pounced on the ball-- his cat like instincts going after it immediately in the interest to catch the ball more than the cards... However... SPLASH!! Panthermon's pounce missed as the little creature bobbed with the water and caused him to go falling into the water. The cat was now soaking wet from the stream-- a known fact that cats HATE water Zachary observed as his partner grumbled and pulled his now wet fur from the stream. He tried hard not to laugh. " Somehow, Haruto... i think that little guy is not gonna be easy to catch." Zachary answered back in the communicator on his digivice. The little guy continued to zip from the water onto the shore, now attempting to climb the branches of a tree-- despite not having any arms to literally climb up anything.

[googlefont="Ubuntu"] Kiss ✰ Me Haboc couldn't help but snort loudly at the drenched sight of a Panthermon coming out of the water after that failed attempt to catch the Cardmon. At least that sight filled his amusement quota for the day. "You need some help over there?" He asked teasingly as he tried to follow the elusive ball's footsteps; not willing to let it out of his sight. "Don't I know it, Zach?" Haruto deadpanned, a blank expression settling across his features so he wouldn't start to laugh when he saw Panthermon completely drenched after he failed to catch the Cardmon. "At least Panthermon tried to catch it, now perhaps this will help us." Or not, it all depended if the Cardmon would continue to run or not. "Havoc! Fira Claw on that tree's base! Full Power!" The flying lion of fire obeyed his Tamer's orders. His claws lighting up with a fiery blaze as he speeded through the air towards the tree the Cardmon was somehow someway climbing up to even when it had no arms. With a roar, his paws blessed with the kiss of fire slashed through the tree's base and it slowly came tumbling down. "Timber!" Haruto exclaimed with a laugh.
OOC: Firamon's passive: ○ Fire Digicore - This form was made for flying and speed, leaving a small trace of fire in his wake; with every turn that passes Havoc's speed increases by 20% up to a maximum of 100%. Because of the core of fire in his body always coursing through his being, moves up to Champ level and below that would hinder his speed and agility are nullified.

SOON AS THE FIRST ROUND STARTS, YOU'VE BEEN BEAT, YOU'RE IN DEEP.
Though easily motivated, especially by food, idleness was Blue's ultimate enemy, and after closing about a fourth of the gap between him and the chain of islands that Red instructed him to survey, boredom immediately began to set itself inside the Digimon's mind; this caused him to ease up on Grani's foot pedals, slowing him down to a much more casual flight velocity in the process. This whole ordeal was for Red's benefit at the end of the day –– all Blue wanted was some McNuggers. Weighing the facts, he could have easily just took off with Gallantmon's steed to acquire as many boxes as he wanted, but doing so would have left the Mantle back over on Coela Coast, likely pissing him off as well. Yet he couldn't ignore the possibility that there may be some hidden threat lurking on the island that he was quickly approaching. Danger, or food? These were the important questions. The Veemon sighed, tugging at his collar as he started whistling the chorus to a Japanese song he had listened to years ago, lightly flourishing ClavisAngemon's key-shaped sword in time to it's melody. A Kingdom Hearts fan could instantly recognize it as the opening leitmotif to the very first installment of the franchise, the first game, the one that brought back glorious memories of his past friendship between Red. It provoked butterflies of elation in his little belly, which drew a smile of remembrance from Blue. In his reverie, the sword-wielding Rookie Digimon closed another large chunk of space between himself and his Tamer's intended destination, coming up on a cluster of trees that appeared to replicate a forest ecosystem. And in his daydreaming, he failed to notice, even from his distance, several shapes running about between the trees, all of which were chasing after a small, yellow thing... Cards Currently ActiveClavisAngemon's Key (2 rounds) Gallantmon's Grani (2 rounds) Sorry for the crap post. Haven't really felt like it these past couple of days.
