Leyton took a stroll down one of the empty roads of Teton city, it had been quite a week for him, he joined and left a Mercenary group, got a weird message from Rei about a looting, or were they gonna beat someone up? Regardless he was excited about it, he had so many new friends in this world and even had a ‘rival’. In the real world he was always alone, not a care in the world, now he faced danger everyday, almost like the protagonist of a fantasy manga or something,



His shoes tapped against the pavement of the road, with every step, he had a skip in his step today. The sun was bright, the air was clean, and the sky seemed bluer than usual. The white hair was feeling himself, not in his usual manic way but he was relaxed, more relaxed in the sense that he felt at peace with the Digital world for the first time since he got there.



Beaming eyes peered the buildings of the city, he took a sip of his latte, a smile on his face. How could this day get any better? He waved to a few passersby, Digimon and Tamers heading on their own adventures, no doubt marching into whatever awaited them outside of the city no doubt.

Walking through the city of sands, in which she likes to call it. She had her eyes of red and blue look around to figure out on what she wanted to do. Behind her was Naku in his armor knight form look around as well. He was obviously looking around to make sure nothing was to harm her health. She would smile though as each step was further into victory of her recovery. Her blue medium dress would sway with the small wind that was going towards her way. Her boots would sink into the sand, although not very deep. Her long white marshmallow hair would wave back as her short bangs would somewhat get in her eyes before they would depart. ''What to do what to do.~'' she spoke softly and giggled.

''Well Naku...now that Faust is away for a week, we should travel more. Just the two of us unless we meet friends to visit.'' she speaks in a happy tone. She smiled sweetly as her eyes looked forward and continued to walk. She started to think on why Faust had to leave so suddenly for a week. What did he have to do and why couldn't he tell her? Karisa sighed softly as her head tilted up to look at the sky. ''Dummy...that's what he is.'' she mumbled sadly with a pout. ''Oh well!~ I mean...if he doesn't come back when the week is over...he'll sure meet a new surprise.'' she spoke to herself and then cornered her eyes to look at Naku with a sinister smirk.

Quickly the smirk disappeared as she then smiled her sweet-usually smile. Continuing to slowly walk she would see a somewhat familiar face. 'Is that Layton?' she wondered. 'Looks like him, hah.' the darker one joked. ''Laaaaaaaaayton!~'' she yelled out and waved blushing as she couldn't believe she was yelling to where people would look at her weird. Mostly towards a guy that legit joined the group she joined and left right away. Who does that kind of thing besides mean people? Even though that was true, she saw loneliness within Leyton which was weird.

He took another sip of his piping hot latte, licking his lips in satisfaction,"Ah nothing beats french vanilla on a hot day." the excited young man kept his head up, meriily going his way, to where? He didn't know, maybe he could pay a visit to Apollomon in the city capitol or whatever he lived.

The white hair would pass an array of merchants selling junk or overly shiny junk or super expensive junk. "Hm, looks like there's nothing going on today, real shame too." he blew his beverage and took yet another sip.

He heard his name be called from afar, looking aroudn the area he would scan for the voice, a fan perhaps? Soon his eyes would fixate upon a familiar young lady, "Kaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarisa!" his tone was high as he waved to the girl. She was one of the people from the band of mercs from earlier. "Helllllooooooo"

Karisa looked at him as she saw him look around as if he wasn't sure where she was. It was sort of funny to her. Giggling softly she would see him wave towards her saying hello, with her name. She would skip to him as if she was a little sister skipping towards her family through flower field. After being three feet away from him she stepped and looked up at him. ''How are you doing?~'' she asked in a happy tune.

She couldn't be mad at him as he probably had his own reason for leaving the group so soon. She was still pouty about it though. ''What are you doing out here?'' she questioned softly and tilted her head a little. Her unusual eyes would look at him and then around in curiosity on what he was doing. She didn't want to seem nosey though so she stopped and gave eye contact. Something felt childish within her. Why was this? Karisa felt playful, wanting to play and to have fun. What was exactly happening?

He took yet another sip of his coffee blend, licking hops lips again, the heat made his lips tingling and his taste buds wince with pain but it was so good. He looked down at the girl, both of those exotic pools of ruby and sapphire peering up at him. She had skipped like a child? Well, that was something, a full-bodied young lady like her skipping so effortlessly. How did Faust get THAT, it's almost like going to a dealership looking for a camero and leaving with a bugatti, luck of the draw. "I'm okay, just drinking coffee and such. Looking for some trouble, enjoying the views around the city, I'm liking the one I see right now." he winked at her with a mischievous smirk.

"What am I doing out here?" he thought about it for a moment and tapped his chin, "Hangin' out I guess." he looked into her eyes, feeling sort of awkward... Is she okay?

Karisa would look up at him still as she would wonder on what was on his mind. Her hands would appear to behind her back holding them together like a child. Her body would motion left and right a little as well like a child. What was going on with her? 'Why am I feeling so funny? So...free?' she questioned. Did it have to do with the hospital accident? Did she get hit in the head? 'No silly.~ It's my turn now!' a childish girl voice spoke within her thoughts. 'W-what?' Karisa questioned. 'Let's just have fun Kari.' the girl spoke in her thoughts.

She didn't seem so dangerous like the red one and some of the other voices within her head. 'Alright...' she said finally. Karisa's eyes would brighten as she heard him say how he liked the view, which meant her. ''W-well thank you!~'' she spoke shyly and smiled happily. ''Well, Layton...If you're just hanging out, how about we go have fun?!~ What do you wanna do?'' she questioned shyly, but excited in the most childish way.

He tilted his head, she sure was different from their last meeting. Maybe she was feeling ill? She seemed happy, almost child like in a sense. Perhaps his charm was finally getting to her? Or maybe she was just excited about being in the desert city. He couldn't put a finger on it but she must have been in a pretty good mood. "Are you feelin' alright-" she beamed at him once more, her eyes gleaming with wonder.

"Uh sure, we can hang out and have some fun. How about we get some ice cream and hang out at the fountain in the center of the city? Ice cream is on me." he gave her a smile, it was strange, her acting so child like made him feel... Different... He had only felt like this one other time, with his step sister but that couldn't mean anything.

Karisa looked up at him, waiting for him to respond and tell her on what he wanted to do. She seemed excited and wondered on what he was going to pick. 'Sand castles? Swimming?!~' she thought as she just couldn't wait to know what he wanted to do. As he spoke on what they could do, she was ecstatic. ''Yay, icecream.~'' she speaks in a singy-tune as she would grab his hands and went towards where the icecream store was. There were all kinds; chocolate, vanilla, mix, mint chip. 'MmmmMMMMmmmm.~' she thought as she thought of all the yummy flavors. ''What kind are you going to get, Layton?~'' she questioned as she looked back/up at him as she was pretty much dragging him along.

Her eyes then looked forward as she would look for the store. Taking a swift turn she would then stop in front of the door. ''Here we are.'' she spoke sweetly and lets go of his hand. Slowly pushing the glass windowed door, she would then step in feeling the cold breeze. 'This feels nice.~' she thought making a sweet-child smile. There was no line either which was great. Walking a little faster up she would then stop where a big fat guy would be standing. He seemed nice though, so she didn't want to say any mean names. ''What would you like, ma'am?'' he asked in his rather deep voice. 'Weird voice for a guy like him.' she thought judging. 'It's mean to judge...' the original Karisa would say within her thoughts. 'So! We're having fun.' the girl spoke.

''I'll have...birthday cake! Topped with...Mint Chip! And...'' she spoke happy-like as she looked through all the wonderful flavors. ''I want...vanilla on the top! Thankya sir.~'' she speaks in a soft happy tone. He would nod and do so as she turned and looked at Layton. ''I hope you're sure about paying.~'' she teases. Turning back towards the shop owner, she would then grab her cone and wait for him patiently.

Karissa pulled Leyton along into the nearest ice cream parlor, portly gentlemen standing behind the counter. He must have been nice and cold in here, seeing how he was surrounded by mounds of frozen goodness all day. He looked at the flavors, they had a little of everything though the white hair liked to keep it simple. "I'll probably get Strawberry," he stuck his hands in his pockets.

'Hmm maybe I can take her somewhere fun... But what's fun? He could take her for a ride 'phrasing' on his motorbike, let her take it for a spin. Nah, what girl would like that? She wanted to have fun... What city had a park for recreation. A little fun, on a hot day. "water park!No..." he snapped his fingers at his genius. Then again they were in the digital world... "How would you like to come to New York with me? We can hit coney island up," he felt like a genius, coney island had everything! An aquarium, a big park, food, and more food. Yeeeep, perfect place to take a babe.

He pointed at the strawberry ice cream, "Two scoops of the pink stuff sir." the hulking fellow handed him a cone of strawberry icecream, plain but delicious.

As she stood there patiently she would lick her icecream cone. Her tongue would wrap around the tip of the icecream, sliding the bit within her mouth. 'Mmmm, this tastes amazing! So cold and fresh.' the girl thought as she would nom the rest slowly. Her eyes looked up towards Layton as he started to talk about some Island at New york. 'New York?' she questioned. 'It's a big city with different things...Coney Island is a park with rides and -' Karisa started to explain nicely. 'OH!' the girl thought happily as she smiled after licking her lips to get the extra icecream off. ''Sure! Sounds amazing and fun.~'' she spoke nicely as she then finishes her icecream by nomming it more till she was done. Child-like Karisa didn't want to get all messy and stuff on the way to the park. She waited for Layton to then get the portal out and on their way there as she didn't know where exactly he wanted to land. She had never been to New York nor the island obviously.

Leyton's jaw hung open as he watched the girl eat the ice cream, 'Wow...' he thought holding his already melting cone. His eye brow arched upward, as she slid a bit of the frozen treat into her mouth. He shook his head in sorrow.

He pulled out his Digivice not able to make eye contact, "Y-yeah," he tapped a combination of buttons into his Digivice, soon a blue portal opening in front of the duo. "After you" he gestured for her to enter first, head still down in misery. If only he were younger, and had purple hair, and glasses, one hell of a disguise.

Upon entering Karissa would find herself in the center of the bay bound park, aka Coney Island.

Due to her ice cream being gone, Karisa felt somewhat impatient. Before it was too late though, Layton would open the portal and told her to go in first. She felt rather very excited as she would run in there and stopped seeing all the pretty colors, rides and food! She would turn around and look at Leyton. ''C'mon! Time won't go slower for us!~ Haha.'' she giggled and twirled around in her blue/black dress. She would roam forward towards the people, hoping not to get lost. Honestly if she did get lost, it would just be a game of hide-n-seek. There were so many things to start with. So before she got lost she would turn around to look at layton. Bent forward a little like typical children, waved and grinned. ''You're slow.~ Where wold you like to start?'' she asked while standing state.

Leyton opened his mouth to speak but before he could get anything out Karissa looked around the park in awe, almost like an adorable child instead of an attractive young lady. He would have to try his best to keep up with the powdery haired girl. "Hey don't leave me just yet." he called with a light chuckle, before wiping the sweat from his forehead, for some reason he had been feeling ill lately, and he was in tecton in the first place to sweat out his sickness.

He was a bit dizzy but he kept with the excited beauty. "Am not!" he chuckled trying to keep with Karisa's pace."It's not where I wanna start, it's where you wanna start, whatever you wanna do I'll pay." he gave her a weak smile, panting under his breath.

Karisa would twirl in her dress and stopped to look at Layton. She smiled till something hits her. Her eyes looked at Layton as he didn't seem to look well. The medical self within her, hits her. ''L-layton, is everything alright? You don't look so well!~ Maybe we should not go on rides and go to a nursing place.'' she spoke. She wanted to get cotton candy, get on a rollarcoaster, bumpercars and a lot of other fun stuff, but not if he wasn't feel well. 'This is no fun...' the little girl spoke within her thoughts. Her head looked around for a bench to drag his sorry ass there to sit down. Making a sad face she would grab his hand again and escort him to the bench. ''Sit! You need to get better.'' she ordered in a commanding-child-like manner. Her eyes fixed upon his as she looked up at him. She oddly cared for him, why? ''Why didn't you tell me you were not feeling well?'' she speaks in a soft sweet manner, looking disappointed. ''We didn't have to do anything...'' she mumbled and looked away. Karisa's eyes looked back at layton, wondering what was then wrong. ''So what's exactly wrong? If it's too bad, you don't have to be here for my silly sakes.~'' she teases, trying to bring a somewhat better aura out from her.

Leyton watch Karissa twirl, and boy did she twirl, lookin' fine in that little blue dress. How she hooked up with a kid like Lavender was a CRIME, a pety CRIME. Poor girl was probably on edge with his constant talk of his sword and how much he polishes it and junk, you'd think he preverse playing with swords more than he does sheaths.

Before he could open his and ask what she wanted to do she threw him onto a bench and asked what was wrong, "I'm fine, come one, let's this the roller coaster." he pointed to one of the bigger ones that loomed not too far from them. He couldn't let a little bug get in the way of quality time with Kari.

"Come on let's go," he grabed her hand and pulled her to the ride.
