Midnight Festival (closed)

[Karisa]

Her eyes lit up as he offered food and drinks. It sounded good and to feel nice it would be a little better. She did hope that it didn't end up like the night before. She wanted to enjoy the night, the drinking, eating and this festival. Karisa looked around as she then followed Faust to where they were going to get food. After getting there she would then look at all the choices. ''I'll have...that bottle, two spicy Dangos, the colorful Watame, Beef Yakisoba wrapped up in Okonomiyaki and...'' she started to state. The guy at the counter kind of was wide eyes as he was amazing at her order. Her eyes didn't pay attention to him as she was looking at the options..''That's it for me.~'' she purrs and giggles smiling happily while looking at Faust to wait for him.

[Faust]

He chuckled as Karisa ordered that much food, it was to be expected given how much time had passed since they had eaten. “For now I'll just take a bottle as well and a beef yakisoba.” He liked the fact that she had a healthy appetite, but he had to wonder where it all went. Still he paid for everything and smiled at Karisa liking the fact that she was actually giggling and smiling at him for a change. He grabbed his own order from the man and even took on what Karisa had asked for. “Let's go over there and eat it has a nice view of the festival.” With that he started to walk off with everything in hand say for the bottle of liquor that Karisa had wanted. He assumed she wanted that for herself.

[Karisa]

Karisa took her food in her hands and chuckled at the amount she ordered. She hoped that he didn't mind the cost or she could probably pay him back. Walking next to him she would follow where he was talking about. Nodding she then sat down slowly and put some of the food on the side table. Taking her eating chopsticks she would nom on some of the food she had and nommed some more. Her eyes looked around as she was eating and wondered on what they should do next. She looked at the games and wondered if they could play one and maybe win somethings. She never really went to a festival before and mostly to one from the digi world. Not looking away from the view she would grab her bottle, open it and started to drink her liquor of pink mixed with some red. It tasted delicious to where she drank 1/4th of it already even though it was quite a large bottle. After eating her food besides her Watame and Dangos shed look over at him...

''Thanks for the food, Faust.'' she speaks and smiles cheerfully before going to her Dangos and eating them one by one. They tasted amazing and spicy as inside of them had some meat mixed with patatos and such. ''Mmmm..they taste nice.'' she speaks happily as she grabbed a chopstick, picked one up and lifted it up to his mouth. ''D-do you want to try one?'' she speaks and blushes looking away shyly.

[Faust]

He had been quietly eating his food and drinking a bit from his bottle when he finially heard her say something. “No thank you for inviting me here and letting me see an amazing sight I I wouldn't of seen otherwise.” He said in his normal flirty tone towards her, though he was actually grateful to be here. While he spent so much time trying to learn all that he could about the digital world and the people in it, he really didn't take that much time to actually experience it. “Hmmm” he said as he eyed the dango before him. He smiled and opened his mouth waiting for her to place it in there for him. He would take a few bites from the dango before making a sour face at the spiciness of them. He really didn't like spicy food at all but he simply washed it down with some of his drink. “Thanks Karisa.~”

[Karisa]

Karisa stuck it in his mouth slowly as he was then eating it. She made a small frown as she saw him make a somewhat sour face. Did he not like it? Maybe it was the fact that it was spicy and he doesn't like that type of food. She sighed and then turned away slowly to put down the sticks and grabbed for her bottle to drink it with a small frown. She didn't know he didn't like it or was into that type of food. She loved spicy food and part of her wanted to actually share it with him. slowly she got up and cornered her eyes at him...''I...Imma go look around alone and maybe some games.'' she spoke with a fake smile that looked real. Slowly drifting away she would look around and wonder what game she wanted to play. Her eyes then spotted a stuffed animal that seemed weird, something that didn't belong there. It was a bunny and half of it was pink and the other half was white. ''Here you go...'' she spoke softly as she gave the guy the money to play. She got a few darts to dart somethings that would go left and right...playing and hitting the targets exact as she thinks..

[Faust]

He looked at her when she spoke, he could tell that she was sad and he sorta knew why that was the case. It seemed as if she really did like spicy food and it just didn't sit well with him. He let her wander off for a bit while he watched her and finished off his own food. When he was done he stood up and walked towards where he saw where she went. He saw here there, looking sad as she was playing a game to win something. He wanted to cheer her up, but he wasn't exactly sure how to, as he looked around he saw something that gave him an idea. Running over to a game booth he slammed down a rather large wad of bits and pointed at an object. “I'll buy that straight up with these bits.” The digimon at the counter didn't complain a bit as he handed him something.

With the object in hand he stood a few feet away from Karisa and started to play. He had bought a guitar, if there was one thing that he had picked up from his father was how to play it, not extremely well, but well enough to carry out a simple melody while he hummed along with it. “I need someone to sing for me Karisa.”

[Karisa]

She sighed as she lost for some odd reason as in she didn't get the stuffed animal she wanted. Her eyes of blood moon red and ocean moon blue would glaze and shine as she saw someone standing next to her. Her head and eyes turned as she saw who it was. Faust standing there with the stuffed animal she wanted she felt a sudden warmth go through her body. Her right hand went to her mouth as she giggled and tilted her head to the left a little. ''You didn't have to faust, but thank you.'' she spoke softly with a sweet smile. Her blue hair would sway to the left and right as she could feel small winds as the night became darker. He spoke as he showed his guitar that he needed someone to sing. 'Should I?' she thought and wondered of if she should sing her song, a song that then came to mind...from her heart and feelings. Naku showed up as he had her suitcase making her smile, patting his head. ''You're always there when needed.'' and then took out her violin and bow. Looking towards Fausts direction she would then walk away from the game and to where she was in the middle of the view of the moon her hair shining and sparkling. Her eyes half closed as she would put her posture in use with her violin, started to sing with a hum that soon turned into Japanese words with the tune.

[Faust]

He was happy that she enjoyed the gift he had gotten her and even more so that she joined in with him. As she started to play a song he somewhat knew he simply followed along on the guitar. He had to admit, she was much more talented than he was. There was no doubt about that in the least bit in his mind. As they continued to play he could see digimon and people forming a circle around them. He simply kept on playing getting closer and closer to Karisa. As the song came to a close he leaned in close and kissed her softly on the cheek as the people and digimon around them started to applaud and cheer. He whispered softly into her ear “sorry, it just felt right.”

[Karisa]

Playing the song that was coming from her heart she would wish that her real parents could be here, there...somewhere alive and none of the things that happened happened. She hated how her family, her past and the people she knew turned out as they were all dead besides Yana and now someone she met, but how long will it last? The song kept going till it was the end in which she stopped singing, playing and opened her eyes to see that Faust then planted a kiss upon her cheek. It shocked her heart making it feel fuzzy and weird once more as her face went red. Her face tilted down as to look away listening to him apologize. Biting her lower lip she'd stutter, ''I...It's okay just...Nevermind.'' she spoke softly and shy as she then had a tear fall off of her right eye. Karisa would put away her violin in her suitcase as Naku became quiet and just smiling. She never understood why he hasn't been talking much these past several days but it was worrying her. Trying to forget she would then turn to Faust, ''What now? We could go find a nice place and just drink and eat while questions as the night passes.'' she offers out of nowhere. She didn't know where those words came from, but it was too late to take back and she'd just go with it.

[Faust]

“That sounds perfect to me Karisa.” He gave her digimon the guitar he bought seeing as he had no use for it for the moment. He smiled as he reached for her sleeve once more to lead her off somewhere. The crowed slowly dissipated as they started to walk away and head elsewhere. He had been in this area before and knew of a nice little spot right outside of where the festeval was being held, but they could still watch it from there. It was a simple little hilltop with a tree or two atop it. With his bottle in one hand he lead her there with a soft and real smile across his face.

[Karisa]

Nodding she followed him as they went through the festival, the people and carts to go to a specific spot. She didn't know where he was taking her and Naku didn't really care as he wanted to just use the guitar to smack Faust. She giggled at the thought and just continued their stroll. Her eyes looked up top at a hill with a tree that had falling sakura blossoms falling. She nodded and walked up the hill to then sit down, opened her bottle and started to drink it. Slowly she would put the bottle down and lean back against the tree all relaxed. Giggling she asks, ''So, what question do you have?'' she speaks softly and away, not giving him eye contact as she knew she'd freak out, shy and blush all at the same time as she knew how she was.

[Faust]

He sat down right next to her leaning on the tree as well, his shoulder touching her's.“Hmmm what question to ask....” He wasn't really sure as they had played this game last night as well, though it was with her other half. “Oh I know, how about this, tell me did you enjoy the soft kiss on your cheek?” He knew it was a silly one, but it was to get the game started. As he waited for her to answer him he would take a drink from his bottle.His bottle was still rather full compared to her's so if needed he would end up offering it to her.

[Karisa]

She listened to his question and didn't know rather or not to answer it, but due to it being the rules to answer...she had to. She thought back on the kiss on her cheek and touched it with her right hand, thinking deeply on it. How did it make her feel? Did she enjoy it? Trying to think she would then look at him, blush and looked away again. ''It...was warm...so a little.'' she spoke shyly and partly as she then tried to think of a question...She had no clue what to ask...'Oh!' She knew what was on her mind. ''What were you and the shop keeper talking about...before I came up.'' she asked quietly and looked down thinking.

[Faust]

“Oh it was warm was it? Warm like this?” He said as he kissed her cheek again to slightly tease her and see her blush more. He knew that he might get reprimanded for that later on, but he didn't care. He loved seeing her blush so much. Still he had to answer her question. This was a bit of a difficult one given that he didn't want to lie to her, but then again he didn't want the exact truth to come out, not just yet. “About payment for your kimono and about the past. She's known me for a while now, she tends to my clothing and I keep her shop safe from those hoodrats.”

With that said he took another swig from his bottle and thought of a question to ask her. "What were you doing before you came to the digital world?"

[Karisa]

''I see...'' was all she had to say. She felt like there was more than that...there was something else. Did he not trust her? Did he just not want to tell her everything? She made a small frown forgetting the fact that he kissed her cheek again, She heard his question as she took another drink of her bottle. ''My story is too long to talk about...'' she spoke softly as she looked away and closed her eyes half way. She felt rather distant again and felt strange. Honestly her life story was long and didn't know if she should really talk about it. She was alone, didn't have any alive family that she knew of and all she had was her digimon to help her through her life that was a piece of crap. She glared away as her eyes felt flamed and her heart was hurting, but she had to act cool/calm. ''I was pretty much traveling the world, learning things.'' she spoke as she didnt give much detail...if he wanted to know...he'd have to be more specific and not hide things from her.
