When you're in the digital world, and especially when you're a virus inhabiting the body of a hapless human, you tend to expect a lot of stuff to happen. Of course, the one thing Gepetto had no expected was to see the mother of all Sukemon suddenly fall in from nowhere and start eating the Commandramon.
What...the fuck?
He didn't say anything, backing away as the giant pile of sentient filth had yet to notice them, and when Giygas told him they were moving out, well, he didn't need to be told twice. He quickly followed his super powered employer into the darkness, keeping into the shadows as they moved to make their way towards the lab. With any luck, the big thing would draw everyone's fire, including those 'big three' that the Commandramon had mentioned. In the meantime, discretion was the best part of valor.

DOWN WITH THE FOOLS!
It appeared that fortune smiled upon the duo, for the Sukamon was too busy devouring the fallen guards to care much about the two of them, giving Giygas plently of time to leave, although Gepetto would likely feel that while chasing after his feline overlord, that the ground had turned rather warm and soft, albeit if he looked down he would likely notice he had accidentally stepped on a... poop? Was it a poop even? It seemed yellow and icky and was now partly hanging on his foot! Yuck...
Nevertheless, by the time he had caught up with Giygas he would likely overhear the sound of gunshots in the distance, confirming the reinforcements had engaged the giant mutant. Still, whether this remained a good thing or not remained to be seen. More peculiar was that the duo had soon arrived at the entrance to the building itself, a large elevator giving them the options to head straight to floor one, two, three or four but not knowing what might await them on each floor, or a less obvious approach by using the staircase to head up to the first floor.
The choice was obvious for Giygas to make.

Shrugged as he noticed that Ham was leaving a trail of crap behind him. That kid was seriously testing him. This was a test, surely. A prank. A social experiment. At that point Giygas would tap some sequence into the elevator, slamming the code to skip to the lab. After all, he wasn't exactly going to have it so that everyone could access the elevator, was he? "Choices choices. How about we just skip to the end so I can hopefully wake up in my bed and realize this whole thing was a nightmare?" Giygas barked, a bit agitated clearly as the doors closed behind him. The gunfire in the distance caused him to breath a sign of relief. Things were going smoothly, too smoothly at that. Yet, he wasn't worried. He was perfectly aware those doors would open to more hostiles, so he took that time to casually shift to stand behind Ham, whistling a catchy tune as he did. "When the doors open spread your arms and legs to cover more space. It's... um, it's a security code. Just do it." eris of gs

Well, on the plus side, they had managed to elude the mutant Sukemon, and the sounds of gunfire indicated that their opposition had not. On the downside, Gepetto now found his foot in which he could only conclude was poop. With a few choice curse words, Gepetto wiped the offending gunk off of his foot, silently telling whatever deity was throwing all this at him to cut it out! Thankfully, the crap was off his shoe by the time he had caught up to Giygas, who seemed just as agitated by the whole ordeal as he was. Thankfully, with everyone back fighting against the Sukemon, things seemed to be smooth sailing.
Or at least, he thoughth so, until Giygas practically told him to stand in front of him as a human shield. Gepetto gave the digimon a flat look, clearly showing that he didn't buy the whole 'security code' excuse one bit. Unfortunately, he had a powerful digimon ordering him around, so telling him to go screw a Leomon wasn't really an option. Instead, Gepetto had to think fast, an idea forming in his mind.
As the doors slid open, Gepetto suddenly threw himself through them, looking like he had been running for his damn life. "Somebody help!" he yelled out, looking panicked, "There's a damn giant Sukemon eating everyone! It's horrible!" Here's to hoping Gepetto's performance would draw attention to him and away from Giygas, at least long enough to let him do whatever it was he was planning.
