She'd look around as her one red-one blue eyes looked at every direction. She was curious and wanted to know of this digimon tournament that she kept hearing about. Maybe she'd find someone to tell her about it. 'Doubt it...you'd have better luck getting kidnapped.' the dark woman's voice spoke within her thoughts. She made a pouting looking face as she crossed her arms blushing. 'I-I doubt it.' she responded within her thoughts.

''Stop talking to yourself in your thoughts and let's keep going. We're not going to get anywhere like this.'' Naku spoke and hopped into her arms to be carried. Karisa shook her head and lowered her gaze at him. ''You lazy bear...'' she mumbled and looked forward to walk. It was midday, soon to be dinner time although the sun and weather seemed like noon. It was fairly beautiful out as it waved her unnatural ocean blue hair. She was wearing her hair in pigtails which touched her hips, her arms dangled at each step as she continued to venture through this area hoping for a sign to get information.

Edward sat on his bike, the engine shut off and his eyes fixated on someone. He had been watching and waiting to see what this strange blue haired girl was doing. She had caught his eye given that her hair was a bright and brilliant blue. He wasn't a stranger to dyed hair given that his lavender locks weren't natural, but he had to know how much time and effort did she put into doing that for her own hair. He wasn't lying if he said that he was attracted to her from afar. She seemed young and naive, the type of woman he liked. So now the only question was to approach her or not?

As she started forward with the bear digimon in her arms he made up his mind. Starting up the bike he was sitting on he slowly drove it towards her. Pulling up next to her he smiled as he kept the engine going. “Well hello there, it's not often I see such a pretty flower here in the digital world. How about you hop on and I give you a lift to where you're heading to.”

Her eyes wandered as she kept on looking around. Karisa didn't know where to go as she didn't really have a location to be fair. She held her bear close as Naku was her comfort, friend and the only real friend she needed. Even though Karisa's eyes seemed innocent, pure and glistening with light she stared at people and think of the worse thanks to her negatives. She took a deep breather as she was about to walk till she heard some loud erupting noises coming towards her.

“Well hello there, it's not often I see such a pretty flower here in the digital world. How about you hop on and I give you a lift to where you're heading to.”

'Stranger danger.' she heard from some voice within her thoughts. She wasn't so sure as she looked up towards his direction. It was a nice bike and she wanted to touch it. Her eyes sparkled as she finally looked up at him letting him see her eyes and her bear's head tilted up to with his sinister smile and glistening right red eye that was glowing. Her left red eye was glowing and glistening as well as the shadows of the sun dimming devoured their way. ''You're joking right?'' she spoke softly and soothingly as she tilted her head to the right. ''Pretty flowers exist only when they first bloom within Spring time. Futhermore...I don't have a specific destination although your bike is very nice.'' she says with a sweet smile and squeezes Naku. Naku seemed quiet which was weird as every stranger she would meet...he would say some mischievous remark or something.

He simply chucked at her response when she made mention of pretty flowers only bloom in spring however it seemed at the very least she was interested in his bike. “Now now don't you know flowers bloom all the time. It doesn't matter the year you can always find a flower if you look hard enough, and I've found one right in front of me.” He kept his smile across his face as he spoke to her eyeing the little bear like digimon that she carried in her hands. It seemed like that was her partner, he wasn't exactly sure as to how strong they were, but that didn't matter.

“If you don't have a destination why not come along for a joy ride, maybe you can think of something or somewhere in the digital world you want to go.” Once more he patted the back of his bike to see if she would hop on or not.

Karisa looked at him as she then looked at the bike holding Naku tightly. Her thoughts were telling her no that she shouldn't take the chance as it might be dangerous, he might be dangerous...but the real question was...when wasn't she in danger? She's been truly alone other than Naku and her adopted sister she never sees, adopted mother she never speaks to and her real family...her real family...

Part of her heart sank, but in reality her facial expression seemed positive, innocent and as she wanted most to believe...naive. She's been through killing those that were needed to be killed in the real world and even her own father due to him trying to kill her. She made a sweet smile towards this man as she then softly touched the bike as her heart wanted to feel adventure...to find her own happiness and maybe this would be the start of it. Karisa slowly got on the bike, holding her bear tightly to her in silence as she then looked away shyly. ''A-alright, I don't know much about here so...'' she started as her actually felt thirsty, but didn't wish to say anything and she still wanted to know more about this fighting area...but was he the one to ask?

He waited in silence to see what she would do. All the while eyeing her to see what her facial expression was. When she finally climbed on the bike he smiled waiting for her to sit down properly before moving. However before he accelerated he spoke “hey hold on tight. I don't want you to fall off ok.” He would wait for a moment till she held onto either him or the bike before starting off. Now the question was where to go? Hearing that she didn't know much about this place gave him a few ideas.

Even though they were in the old grounds there was one place that he knew that would be a bit better than just wandering around the arena. He revved his bike once before taking off at high speeds. Sure he had someone riding on the back of his bike, but that wasn't going to slow him down. As he zipped down the roads dodging the digimon in the middle of the roads he spoke. “By the way I didn't catch your name.” He was taking them outside of the city and if she was paying attention she would notice that they were driving closer and closer towards the ocean.

Her eyes looked forward as she wondered where they would be going. She heard him speak of holding on. Did he want her to grab onto something? She tilted her head a little as she looked at the sky trying to think and blushed as she noticed what he meant. Her head looked down as she slowly stopped embracing her teddy bear digimon and hesitated to touch him. She's never touched a male in her life, a hug or anything since...

*Flashbacks of her father while she was a child being hugged, pushed on the swing and to when she turned early teens and killed her father*

Her eyes half way closed, bit her lower lip and slowly gripped onto his sides as Naku would attach himself in her lap. Her hands felt warm even over his clothes, her heart was beating wildly as her face turned red upon her cheeks. It felt hard to breathe, what was this?! She tried to ignore this feeling, keep cool or at least looked down as to ignore any way for him to see her face.

As the motorcycle started and him driving it she heard him ask about her name. She gulped and tried to bring up the courage to say her name while she was experiencing this new weird feeling. 'Ugh, this is bugging me...' she thought as she then opened her lips a little for words to escape. ''Karisa...'' she spoke soothingly and softly as she wasn't looking on where they were going. ''And y-yours?'' she asked and took a silent deep breather as to relax while she was still gripping his sides so she doesn't fall off.

He could feel her warm touch through his clothing. Yet as he drove he could feel something was off, she was shaking as she held onto him. Was she afraid of something? Was he going too fast? Or was she just nervous? So many things could be wrong, but he didn't know what it was that was causing her to shake. So he started to slow down on his bike, out of concern for his own safety. If she shook too much it could cause him to lose control and crash. Either way her warm touch felt nice as he continued to speed out of the area.

“Karisa huh? That's a cute name for someone like you. You can call me Faust for now.” Suddenly the bike stopped moving, he had stopped up on a cliff side overlooking the ocean. “Great view isn't it?” While there was a road leading down to where he wanted to take her for now he thought it would be better for her to take in a nice sight of the ocean to calm down a bit. Looking over at her face he could see that she had been blushing. He smiled and placed a hand softly on her shoulder. “If you're up to it I can teach you how to ride my bike.”

She could feel herself somewhat shaking which slowly she calmed down. She could also feel that he was slowing down, was this her fault?
She would just feel the wind to her face as she was going down to wherever they were going. She could feel Naku be against her as she slowly let go with one hand and pat his head, giggling. Her eyes sparkled as they stopped seeing that they were on a cliff. Slowly getting off as he did she would grab Naku and saw that he was looked straight at her now.

Something was going on with her as her blood was boiling and her eyes couldn't stop starring at him, blushing upon her cheeks even more. She could feel the heat on her face as she felt him touch her shoulder. 'W-what do I do?' she thought as she slowly backed off. It wasn't him it was the fact that she's not use to being touched at all besides hugging Naku or was it? She didn't understand this and her shyness was killing her. She shook her head as she made the blushing go away and looked at the ocean more clearly walking past him.

 ''It's beautiful, mostly when the sunsets...it looks like as if the sun is sinking within the ocean to create its ghost, the moon.'' she spoke soothingly but rather in a cooling way. Slowly she turned to face him as her long blue ocean hair would wave a little to the left, her red and blue eyes shining with the setting of the sun. ''Maybe you can some other time. Although I don't have my own and I don't think there would be a time I'd own one.'' she spoke and smiled cheerfully and then went back to her normal stare with a small smile. Naku was being silent, which was strange...did he just not want to interupt something or knew something she didn't?

He didn't mind it too much when she pulled away from him touching her shoulder. It just meant that either she didn't like to be touched or that she was uncomfortable in this situation. Both things he would note down later on in his little black book. Her words were interesting to say the least. He really didn't think that deep on the world around them, after all this place was only data and not flesh. This was a virtual world for them to mess around in and to do with as they pleased.

“You're very new to this world aren't you Karisa.” His words came out more like a statement rather than a question. He kept the smile across his face as he watched her blush. Turning off the bike he got up and stood with his back to the cliff side right on the edge. He motioned for her to come closer to him with his hands.”I know it can be a scary thing to be alone in this world, not knowing who to trust and who is lying to you. So I'm going to show you that I trust you and that you can trust me.” He took one step back now teetering on the edge of the cliff just a simple push away from falling off.

He kept one hand extended out towards her and smiled. “You can either take my hand and pull me back to safety or push it away causing me to fall to my death.” This was all part of a plan he had. After all he wasn't going to die right here in the digital world like a fool just to prove something to someone he had just met. No this was a test of her character and he wanted to see what she would do. However there would be no way for her to know that it was just a test.

The breeze hitting her face she could feel the small hairs from within the longer hairs tickle her neck. Her eyes were looking at the sky till she then felt weird as he started to speak about trust. Her heart started to stab as she then thought about how the people she trusted either ended up dead  or killed by her own hands. She clenched her hands into fists as she remembered her past, looked away and started to think. 'Let him go...you don't know him.' the darker one spoke within her thoughts.

Her eyes looked down at him into his eyes as her eyes shined and sparkled with the ocean although one eye represented an ocean of blood (red eye) and an ocean of pure water (blue). Part of her heart dropped as she instantly grabbed onto his hand. What was wrong with her? Why couldn't she let him fall as much as satisfying as it sounded in the back of her head, her heart wouldn't let him fall.

Karisa pulled him up as she would then fall back with an umph on her butt, but looked up to see him up of course. Was she weak? ...Was she weak for choosing to lift him up from danger? She wondered as she looked at him, lost within mind on her choices.

She grabbed him, she didn't let him fall and he smiled. It seemed for now she could be trustworthy. However he had his own issues at hand, given that she had pulled on him with a bit more force than he thought he was now moving forward and falling over. He moved his hand to try and stop himself from falling however it was too late. By the time he acted he couldn't stop it, so he landed on top of Karisa his face right next to her's while his hand kept him propped up resting in the grass to the side of her body.

From here he could look into her eyes, both of them and noticing how vibrant both of them were. Slowly he moved one hand up to fix his glasses which had slipped a bit during the tumble. He smiled at her before speaking. “You really are beautiful in this light Karisa.” While he didn't plan for his test to go like this he wasn't exactly complaining about it. Still he had to wonder what was going on in her mind.

Her head was on a soft area upon the ground as she had her eyes closed. Her eyes slowly opened...as they did her heart bursts, beating like thousands of stallions that roamed through the fields. He was so close to her face that she frozed. Karisa has never been through this situation as to being so close to a male. What game was he playing? What made it worse was what he spoke in which calling her rather beautiful.

The ocean, sun going down, beautiful weather...most people would feel this would be a perfect time for a romance love story, but not this one.

Shaking her head she flustered, biting her lower lip. ''I'm not...A-are you going to get up?'' she mumbled softly, but flustered. This feeling was weird, she hated it...maybe it was just because this feeling was new. Karisa didn't know rather to be disgusted or more curious. Cornering her eyes to look away, she'd wait for him to get up.

He chuckled softly as she muttered out that she wasn't. She really was adorable and he was glad that he actually decided to get to know her better. “You know, when you act all flustered like that.” He leaned in close to her face keeping his just a breaths away from her's .”It's hard to not to want to kiss you.” He said softly before moving his lips past her's and to her cheek before placing a soft kiss on them. His lips touched her cheek for a moment before he pulled away. He figured that he had done enough, given the way she was acting he assumed that she wasn't sure how to feel.

Rolling to the side he got off of her and placed his hand next to her body as he sat up watching the sunset. “You don't have to be afraid of what you're feeling. It's ok, you can trust me after all I trusted you not to push me off the ledge.” He wasn't sure what she would do or react to what he did, all he could do was wait and see. Just like with everything every action had a reaction and now he had given her something to react to.

She looked at him all confused as he started to speak, get closer to her face. She wanted to freak out, fluster and kick him in the balls, but she wanted to see what he would do. Would he get up? Her heart kept pounding though and she wanted to escape through this cluster fuck of a feeling. 'Doooo it, kiiick him.' the darker voice spoke within her mind as she shook her head. 'No.' she thought sweetly as she then saw him getting closer to where his warm lips planted upon her cheek. It was enough for her face to warm up and blush rather red even more. Her face turned to look away as she then saw him roll on the other side. His hand was not that far from her either as she listened to him speaking about trust. Could she even trust him when she couldn't even trust her own father? The one who tried to kill her even though fate switched and killed him instead? Her head turned straight to look at the night sky as millions of stars appeared. It truly was a beautiful night...

''I don't know much about my own emotions or what some are even called.'' she spoke softly and calming with sweetness. She could feel her bear on the side that Faust wasn't by. ''They say stars are souls that shine like the light.'' she spoke once more softly as she smiled and giggled. ''Nights like this makes me want to play a musical instrument and sing.'' she speaks one last time before she lays there and gazes at the night ignoring what he did so her flustered feeling could just escape.
