Nanosphere Forests

It had been only two days since the two met each other. Yet it was clear they were  destined to become partners. As Damion and Kiimon made their way about the forest the two would keep an eye out for other opponents. Carrying Kiimon in his arms the young male would eventually slump up against a tree and sigh heavily.

The forest was thick and unrelenting forests almost maze-like. yet the deeper he delved into this Digital World the more hostile the wildlife will become. Yet this would-be wander didn't fear and along with Kiimon the two made it this far. Yet he couldn't help but notice he was alone or so it felt that way.

"Kiimon, I don't recognize where we are buddy. Last I knew we were near the village of beginnings, but all this training and all this traveling I totally forgot which was was which..."

He'd say with a nervous laugh as the tiny digimon sighed,

"I told you we should have left a crumb trail..."

Smirking he'd shake his head and give a wise ass remark.

"Please we both know you would have ate every last crumb...but yea now I'm afraid to admit it but we are definitely lost. So lets try to find our way back, I think it's this way."

He'd say as the two once more traversed the forests making their way back towards their destination; being mindful to watch out for enemies and traps. Yet they were beyond lost, using his rather unique skills. Damion would climb a tree and try to see beyond the brush from the top which direction to follow. Sliding back down he'd shrug,

"I probably should have applied for boy scouts when I was younger...I did however get a good view of which the sun was setting. East I think is that way so west is directly that way meaning...I think this way is north buddy."

He'd say grasping the tiny digimon and once more traveling perhaps if he was lucky running into another person or digimon who might be able to help.

Strands of blonde hair twisted and tangled as a light wind blew it around. Calliope kept a steady pace as she walked through the forest glancing up at the canopy. She had only been in the digital world for a couple of days and honestly it was like an information overload. She had been wandering around the forest since she had met the adorable fuzz ball. Petite hands picked at the loose strings hanging from the sleeves of her jacket, and something shifted in the hood of her jacket. Calli's attention was brought back down and she turned her head slightly.

"Would you quit shifting about Yukimi Botamon?" 

At the sound of it's name a small white fluff ball popped up out of the hood and smiled.

"You can call me Yukimi, and sorry, it's hard to get comfortable in here." 

Calli gave a sigh pulled her blond hair over her left shoulder. As she stood still her knees rested against one another and she reached around, pulling the small digimon from the hood of her jacket. She shifted the ball of fur in her arms and cradled her.

 "Is that better?"

A large smile crossed her face as Yukimi giggled in response and she gave her a light squeeze as Calli began walking once more.

"You're too cute Yukimi!"  

Calli began to zone out again, as she limped along starring up at the trees again. She had surprised herself with how fast she had opened up to Yukimi Botamon. At that moment another thought crossed her mind, what was she going to do if she ran into another person? Where there even any others? Of course there were others, she had to be crazy to think she was the only one. She was unsure of where to go and the poor digimon didn't have any ideas either. Hearing a light snore her she looked down to see the fluff ball of a digimon sleeping soundly.

Nanosphere Forests

As the two explore about the area more and more they'd eventually hear a voice. Slowly creeping around the tree the two  would notice her. A strange pigeon toed girl whom appeared to have a digimon cradled in her arms. Raising to the occasion the two would slowly make their way towards her.

"Excuse me miss? You wouldn't happen to know the way out of here and back to the village of beginnings would you?"

He'd ask as his purple little buddy remained in his arms his hands holding either side of his triceps. Smiling some he'd lean in some and look at the girls diigmon almost intrigued

"What digimon is that, it's all fuzzy and reminds me of a really fluffy cat or something"

He'd say smiling as Kiimon cleared it's throat and Damion laughed. Then took a deep breath and smiled extending his arm out for  a friendly hello.

"The name is Damion and this is my little buddy Kiimon. We just got here a few days ago ourselves but we are actually pretty lost.

But I know we were headed east last I knew so if we head back north I'm hoping we will end up back towards somewhere we know. But this forest is a maze and a half. I just hope we will be okay as these digimon here are strong for one on one fights and will tire us out too quick.

But maybe with you around we can relax a bit. So what do you say mind joining us so we don't have to worry as much. They say there is power in numbers."

Chuckling the two would remain still once more arms wrapping around his digimon as they looked at her.

"So you got a name or am I just gonna have to call you beautiful?"

He'd say with a cheesy grin as he waited to see just what she'd say or do perhaps listening to her help him find his way out.

Calliope's head was in the clouds as she wandered around. In her mind she played over random games of sudoku. She turned quickly as she heard a voice from behind her. A tall boy holding a purple digimon began to approach her. Her cheeks turned pink and hand raised to her mouth as she began to nervously chew on her sleeve.

"N-no, I'm sorry I don't."  

Her voice was soft as she spoke and she avoided eye contact with the boy. He was way taller than her and seemed sort of intimidating, but then again she found almost everyone scary. As he continued talking she listened carefully and shook his hand when he offered it. Yukimi began to stir and she looked back down at her.
Her lips parted, ready to reply to him when he asked her name. When he called her beautiful in that handsome voice of his, her face turned beat red and she quickly threw the hood of her jacket over head covering her blushing face.

"C-c-call."  

She tried to speak out, but she was so embarrassed and nervous she couldn't manage to even say her own name. At that moment Yukimi let out a laugh and smiled up at Damion.

"Her name is Calliope. I'm Yukimi Botamon, but you can call me Yukimi. We are also lost. I hadn't been too sure where exactly we were supposed to go but I remembered when you said it. The Village of Beginnings. Sorry, Calliope."  

As Yukimi spoke for her Calliope grew even more embarrassed. Yukimi nuzzled into Calli apologetically. With her hood covering her face she glanced down at her feet that pointed towards one another and overlapped. She chewed nervously at her sleeve and glanced up slightly her blue eyes catching his only for a moment before she hid once more. The white fur ball in her arms however just continued to smile at Damion and his digimon.

As he asked her if she knew it appeared he was at a lost and would be lost for several more hours if not days at this rate. However, keeping cool and playing it safe he'd still chat with her a bit. Although he did take note of her timid nature almost shying away from even looking at him. Confused he'd still offer his hand perhaps she was not use to this world and still adjusting.

Either way eventually it would appear she'd take his hand and try to introduce herself. A cute little timid stutter would pass as she said , 'C-c-call' to which he'd wink playfully and tease.

"How can I call you if I don't know who to ask for."

It was with that joke that Yukimi Botamon smiled laughing before looking up at him and explaining. Arms cradling his own digimon at the moment he'd listen as Kiimon spoke.

"You must have been there at least once before, your a fresh hatched digimon like me...unless you snuck out to explore and got lost. Either way my partner here is only taking me back to confirm we were destined to be together so that is a thing. What about you two are you also tamer and parter?"

He'd as as Damion quickly showed them his D-3 digivice and then put it away. Smiling he'd reach over and pat her head,

"No need to be so shy and flustered I'm not a movie star, besides I need someone to talk to on this long and boring watch, besides I think we should start heading back it's going to get dark soon and we don't want to be here at night, most of the bad and stronger digimon flurish at night. So lets go..."

He'd say as he reached up taking her arm and dragging her along; using his other hand to hold Kiimon not realizing off in the distance the two seemed to attract an unknown yet curious digimon. Just who was it, what did they want only time would tell but for now the two would make their way in the believed direction of the Villlage of beginnings.

Calliope blushed even more as he joke, wasn't sure how to deal with this at all. Her eyes wandered up to glance at Kiimon as he spoke, and then looked down to Yukimi and petted her. She nodded at Kiimons question, reached into her pocket and held out her D-3 digivice to show the boy and his digimon. As Calli placed the digivice back into her jacket pocket she felt Damions hand pat her head softly.


Calliope reached up with her free hand and lifted the hood of her jacket from her face to look up at him. Bright blue eyes scanned him over curiously as he spoke. Why did he want to travel with her? She didn't even know anything about the digimon or the digital world that she was in. As the boy said 'So let's go...' and tugged at her arm pulling her along Calliope let out a squeak in surprise holding tightly onto Yukimi Botamon.

"I c-can't walk very fast!" 

Her voice wasn't even above a whisper as she stumbled over her feet trying to keep up with him. Her wrist captured in his hand as he pulled her along. It was quite strange how she walked, her feet pointing inwards as one stepped in front of the other and her knees crossed, knocking into each other every so many steps. All this giving her gait an odd limp with a bounce. It was a wonder how she could even stay upright.

"Wait a second please? I'm sorry, but I just... I can't walk as fast as you."  

Finally speaking up Calli pulled her wrist back and stood her ground. She breathed in deeply trying to catch her breath. She felt awkward about saying something, but she just had to say something. Her cheeks stayed a constant shade of pink as she shyly glanced up at him. The white fuzz ball in her arms just giggled at Calliope.

A small smile crossed her face as she noticed him blushing as he apologized. He seemed really sweet, and she was slightly distracted by his ocean blue eyes. Then his words struck her. Die? He really thought that they would die here? She had obviously expected some type of danger in this new world she was in, but nothing like that. Her smile grew a little and her cheeks brightened a bit, as she took his his hand and followed him.



"It's okay, honestly. I just...yeah.."



As Calliope spoke she shifted her gaze down at her feet as she walked awkwardly. His hand felt large around her small hand as they walked together. When he let go of her hand she watched curiously as he ripped up a couple of digi shrooms. Yukimi complained as Calliope placed her back into the hood of her jacket. When he came back she did as he instructed and fed Yukimi some of the mushrooms. Before Calliope could say anything Yukimi's voice rang from behind her head.



"Thank you!"



"Yes, thank you Damion."



With out a seconds notice he said something and then started climbing the tree. She squatted down by Kiimon and petted him before pulling Yukimi out of her hood and placing her down beside him. As she stood back up she felt an odd pit in her stomach, like at any moment something bad might happen. She shrugged her shoulders and looked up in the tree at Damion watching curiously. Her hand in her jacket pocket rolling the pocket knife in her palm. At that moment an idea came to her. He had said the forest was like a maze. As she thought this she walked up tot he tree that Damion was in and pulled her pocket knife out and carved a small triangle into the bark.
