❝ "Good job, Pagu, now let's finish this!" Harley shouted to her Digimon - having just have taken down a particularly strong Veemon. It wasn't without reason, the dinosaur monster was causing trouble with a group of Palmon, picking on them and bullying them out of their money. Pagu, in his Seadramon form, stood many miles over the defeated Rookie level. Data absorption was a controversial subject in the Digital World, but it made one stronger - and the stronger she and her partner got, the better they could protect the world. It made sense, at least, to her. "Alright, buddy, I hope you had fun while it lasted!" The sea dragon opened his mouth to issue a final Mind Freezer attack before devouring the Veemon's data, but just as it were to do so, the downed Digimon began to glow with a golden energy. "What?" The fighting dragon said not a word, revealing a small relic, something he had been clutching to and had somehow hidden from the duo beforehand. "That's an armor egg! Quick, before it activates!" Harley yelled out in despair, quickly realizing what was about to happen. Pagu went to finish off the blue monster, but it was too late, his form changing and growing in size - becoming enveloped in a shining digital code. ARMOR_DIGIVOLUTION_ The former Veemon shook off the code in one release of his arms, sending it out like shattered glass, forcing Harley to cover her eyes. When she looked back upon the monster, she noticed he had completed changed - now much stronger, taller, and adorned in a golden armor. The new Digimon released a few sparks of electricity from its body, igniting a few rain-drops around it. Still silent, the knight-like dragon bounced from a nearby tree and directly at the Seadramon, delivering an electrically charged fist to the serpent's face. The elemental damage tingled through the beast's entire body, sending him back and slightly knocking him off balance - but not completely over. The Magnamon looked his opponent dead in the eye, ready to avenge itself for the beating earlier. "We have an actual fight now - that's what. Let's beat him down a second time!" active buffs/debuffs: - rain - it is raining. electricity power up. fire power down. - passive - walk in the rain: offensive power and movement speed raised when aquatic digimon are wet. attacks used: - none this round

Attacks Used: Magna Blast (Plasma Shoot): Fires a shot of ball-shaped plasma. Aura Barrier (Light Aura Barrier): Envelops self in a barrier of light to ward off enemies.

It rushes forward, speed far exceeding it's previous form, and holds up one of it's arms.

It's opponent would be able to witness a blast of ball-shaped plasma, rapidly fired at it's body, before the Magnamon encases itself in a barrier of shining light, hoping the other Digimon has some sort of slipup.

❝ The Seadramon took the full impact of the Plasma Blast, taking additional damage due to the effects of the rain. Even so, it wouldn't be enough to stop him, if only slow him down a little bit for a few seconds. The sea dragon backed up, gaining focus again on the golden Veemon variant. He was using some sort of barrier technique - attacking it straight on likely wouldn't be the best course of action here. "Hit it from above." With this simple order from his Tamer, Pagu gathered a large amount of electricity in his mouth, sending it to the clouds above in a seemingly anti-climatic matter. Seconds later, a powerful bolt of lighting would come down upon the Magnamon, in an effort to break his shield, or activate its effects at a safe distance. Harley knew that likely wouldn't do much to a Digimon that was utilizing plasma as an energy and power source, so something else had to be done. None of Pagu's current attacks seemed like they would be too effective at this point, other than Mind Freezer. There had to be something else. The pale girl reached for her cards, shuffling through them, but still finding nothing of value. Wait. The tamer grabbed a single card, 48. Gaogamon's Spiral Burst, then swiping it hastily through her Digivice's built-in card reader. With activation, Seadramon began to glow with a faint green aura. "Go on, use it!" Harley shouted at her partner, who agreed with a simple nod of his armored head. The monster released the energy given to him from the D-Power device, sending forth a powerful burst of wind-based energy in the form of a small twister. "Now don't stop there, follow up!" Without thinking twice, Seadramon reared back, firing forth a frosty beam of energy directly at his opponent, something that they would hopefully have trouble avoiding while dealing with the other attack. "MIND FREEZER!" That wouldn't be enough, hopefully, otherwise this would have been a waste of time after all. active buffs/debuffs: - rain - it is raining. electricity power up. fire power down. - passive - walk in the rain: offensive power and movement speed raised when aquatic digimon are wet. attacks used: - thunderhead - mind freezer - spiral blast

Attacks Used: Shining Gold Solar Storm: Sweeps enemies away with golden laser beam. Magna Punch: Puts all its strength into a powerful punch.

A smirk.

The Magnamon had shown that much expression, from seeing it's opponent taking the full force of it's attack.

But it was brief, as it witnessed the sea creature simply shake it off like it's attack had been nothing.

The Magnamon wasn't happy. It's barrier still active, the Magnamon had rushed forward once more.

Mostly a reflective surface, the barrier didn't serve any purpose of protecting itself, but rather ward away the threat of any possible danger.

So while it had tried to dodge the attack by it's opponent, found that it couldn't due to it's surroundings.

The attack had electrified it's body, and the Magnamon was clearly in silent pain. But it wasn't planning on going down this easily. Not after their last round.

It shook off what it could of what was remaining of the attack, and holding both it's arms out once more, met the other Digimon's twister, with an attack of it's own.

A golden laser beam was shot out, and towards the twister, where it would expand and contract like an explosion. Whether or not it hit, didn't matter.

The Digimon, keeping composed, would charge forward once more, one of it's arms reeled back in what would clearly be a punch aimed at the other Digimon.

The frosty beamed of energy directed it's way would be swiftly dodged. Puddles splashed around as it's feet landed back on the ground.

It's opponent was mistaken if it believed this match would be easy.

❝ Thunderhead made direct contact, shocking the dragon-man throughout his body. He seemed to bite the bullet for the most part, however, not making any audible indications of pain or agony. That was too bad - triggering those was generally the idea when taking down an enemy. Both Harley and Pagu started to feel more and more indifferent to taking down other Digimon. It was strange, because even the idea of murdering somebody else in the real world would have made her queasy, but the possibility of it having to happen here didn't bother her as much anymore. Her card was wasted, the twister being blown apart by a powerful beam of energy. It wasn't a big deal, but definitely would be something she wouldn't let happen again. The pale girl shuffled through her deck again - this time coming across a much more useful card. She hated resorting to using rares - it felt like a waste of her talent. She grabbed the card with a sigh. As the tamer was busy messing around with her cards, Seadramon's Mind Freezer attack was dodged as well, the agile knight-like Digimon stepping to the side of it, and then countering with a strong electrified punch. The aquatic Digimon grunted, feeling the effects of the attack as it tingled through his long body. One of the dragon's eyes twitched as it tried to re-focus on the enemy, it wouldn't be able to take many more of those punches in these conditions. "Alright, I suppose we should start trying." The tamer said with confidence, sliding the card she had grabbed earlier through her card reader. Gigadramon's Genocide Gear - it was a rare equipment card, covering her Digimon in cybernetic equipment. Mechanical panels and missile ducts made the armor champion far more intimidating and effective in battle. "Try another Mind Freezer!" Harley yelled out to her Digimon, giving him a hand-signal as her looked at her with one eye, acknowledging the unspoken additional command. "MIND FREEZER!" The dragon screamed, blasting forth another beam of icy elemental energy. This time, the attack was aimed towards the Magnadramon's feet, in an attempt to hopefully get him to dodge by jumping. Soon after firing forth his signature attack, Seadramon activated his Genocide Gear, opening a missile panel and firing forth four small missiles towards the area where it was predicted the Digimon would move to dodge at. It was a gamble, but hopefully the enemy would at least take damage here. active buffs/debuffs: - rain - it is raining. electricity power up. fire power down. - passive - walk in the rain: offensive power and movement speed raised when aquatic digimon are wet. - genocide gear - 2 posts attacks used: - mind freezer

It's attack had hit.

And seeing the human's distaste when it had, the Magnamon knew that it was doing pretty good.

Although it could still feel the effects of having taken that attack from before, which continued to course through it's body, and threatened to make it tremble.

It was forced to use a tree to support it, but was still keeping a close eye on the other Digimon.

One thing it didn't understand, now that it had digivolved, was how the human kept revealing it's attacks. Was it just mocking the Magnamon?

Apparently so, because the girl had told it that they were just actually getting started. It didn't like that.

Prepping itself, it's enemies had once again yelled out an attack they had been using for awhile now.

But the Magnamon was quite prepared, and began to jump back to dodge the energy beam.

Then the girl had done something, and the water creature was now firing missiles at it.

The Magnamon lifted both it's arms, once again firing off an attack it had used before, in an attempt to counter the attack that was coming for it.

Firing away balls of plasma, it would be able to hit few of the missiles, but the rate it's opponent was firing at, was far faster than the Magnamon's own attack.

It tried to dodge what it could, but the explosions from the missiles made things difficult, and would hit it as well, forcing the Digimon to fly backwards.

As long as it could still stand however, this was going to be far from over.

❝ "Good job, but don't let it catch a break. Punish it!" Harley shouted to her partner, pointing at the Magnamon and bringing a finger to her throat, gesturing the removal of its head. The Seadramon nodded in response, readying his Genocide Gear for another round of missiles. Quite a few of them had made contact - though it was not enough. He had honestly hoped that attack would be the end of the battle. Now he had to exhilarate more effort. Electricity crackled in the sky above, bending to the serpent's will, before he commanded it to come down upon the golden dragon with a single booming word, "THUNDERHEAD!" The bolt would hopefully be a direct hit - even if one commanded the power of electricity and plasma, the raw force and heat of a strike of lightning would cause major damage, especially considering the battlefield was wet and thus conductive. Pagu wasn't yet done there, however, issuing the commanding words twice more, "THUNDERHEAD! THUNDERHEAD!!" If two missed, one would surely hit. The sea dragon would follow up by using his Genocide Gear equipment a final time, sending forth another barrage of missiles at the dragon man. These attacks were all inaccurate, but as long as the tamer could get her Digimon to deal a large amount of damage over a large amount of area, she wouldn't need to worry about accuracy - or at least she thought. seadramon - a. champion condition: good! status: normal attack up! speed up! + passive walk in the rain: seadramon causes it to rain, increasing the attacking power and movement speed of aquatic digimon. + equipment genocide gear: active for 1 more post. + active thunderhead x3: Seadramon calls down a bolt of lightning from the storm above, striking a single target enemy. If the target is wet, the electricity will travel to all adjacent targets.

Attacks Used: Aura Barrier Magna Punch Shining Gold Solar Storm

Things were changing.

The Digimon could feel it happening in the air, and it wasn't just from the atmospheric pressure their fight was causing either. Nor delusions from his injuries.

This fight was trying to come to a close, and the taunting done by the human had confirmed that.

Once again, the Magnamon's body would shine, reflecting an aura of light against the dark weather.

It's opponent was continuing to call forth it's onslaught of missiles as well. Unlike last time however, it wouldn't waste any time with carefully dodging each one.

Instead, the Digimon had stood in place, the rain cascading down across it's armor.

Let them come.

The missiles were getting closer by the second, but it hadn't been the only attack sent by the sea creature.

Calling forth the power of the storms, both an ally, and an enemy, was threatening to strike down as well.

With the surrounding water around, even if it had managed to slip past the attack, it would still feel the effects, as weakened as it might be.

But the Digimon was far from worried. As the missiles approached, and the lightning hit, so had it.

What happened with the first onslaught of missiles and lightning, was an explosion from the impact.

Even with the already surrounding noise of the weather, the sound was deafening to those within the area.

And like the previous attacks, clouds of smoke were created, as the missiles were set off.

Only the dissipating light of it's barrier, and the electricity generated from the lightning, broke through.

The Magnamon was still standing, although it's movements were even more sluggish and heavy.

As the dust settled to fully reveal the Digimon, it had wiped away a pain surfacing around it's mouth.

More lightning struck down, continuing to electrocute the water, if it had managed to miss him.

Let them come.

The Digimon raised both it's arms after a struggle, which involved it having to step forward to balance the weight it was trying to create.

It's golden energy beam. Perhaps the strongest attack it had, as it would cause a force that exploded the air around it. The Magnamon knew it wouldn't be enough.

This battle was fought in the territory of the creature, after all. But the resulting pressure would do something.

And that was all the armored Digimon was really counting on at this point of the battle.

With the Digimon's final bout launched, it's arms drifted down to it's side, as the pair's own collided with it.

Let them come.
