Chie woke up in the woods, slowly getting up, with a foggy memory trying to recall anything she could about the previous few hours.
It started out as a typical day for her, school was normal, she handed in several assignments and taken notes in school, as per usual. She avoided socialization, she thought to herself "Was I drugged and brought here? left in the woods? damn... I've been pranked before but this is too far" but she took into consideration what happened after school, specifically on the way home. As she was walking, she heard an eerie voice call " Chie......"as she stopped to look around for the source of the voice. She took a few seconds to figure out where, only to get no answer. After tripping over a loose wire, she saw a black device, as if it were some sort of monitor or game. She picked it up, and found a folded piece of paper under it. It said 'dear destined owner of this device, you have a choice, you can break this and forget about it. Or take a chance and open new doors beyond your imagination. Hold this device out to a terminal device and you'll learn more of the world than you know', at the time, that made Chie laugh, but she knew that it could be a possibility. She assumed this was some sort of beta testing of a new blue tooth compatible device. After getting home, she knew she was alone, her mother at work. She threw her bag onto her bed as soon as she entered her bedroom, picking up at device she acquired earlier. after sitting at her desk, she examined it for a short period, only to look at its back while pointing it to the monitor, unbeknownst to her that she opened the digigate, such sucked her in.
After she was finished recalling the past, she started to stand up, only to hear a voice from behind her say "Yay! you finally made it!" and started to slowly turn around, still unsure of her surroundings and decided to be very aware of her surroundings, only to be shocked by what she was about to see.

She turned around to see what appeared to be a blob of purple fur with cat ears and brown eyes with a fairly large mouth for the size of the creature. She took a step back after a slight gasp. Her expression was very surprised, while she was trying to figure things out in her mind. "What is that? some sort of cat? No, it has features that wouldn't fit even if it was overweight, such as the mouth and lack of a snout. Plus it spoke, either I am dreaming, on some sort of narcotic, or in an afterlife dimension. This thing was waiting for me, so I assume if I can take advantage of this encounter I can gain some insight as to where. If I was 'tripping', if that is even the correct term, it should be similar to a dream with similar rules. Anyways, guess I should try to seem polite, how would I go about this, am I talking to a kitten or a sentient being, how would I go about a hybrid. Tone as if I am speaking to another human, but posture of interacting with an animal." and finally started to walk towards the creature in front of her. She walked up to the creature and sat down on her knee's, so she could see this creature in finer detail. She ran her fingers through the fur, noticed how tough it was, and after feeling that level of detail ruled out dreaming, and narcotics in the process. Meanwhile the creature saw that gesture as some form of appreciation, it purred a bit, excited that he possibly found someone he's been hoping for his relatively short lifespan.
Chie was first to speak, "Hello, I don't think we've been formally introduced yet, I am Chie, Chie Kira, I have a few questions but I suppose those would mostly be answered by your introduction and explanations of this situation so by all means feel free to speak." she spoke with a calm tone, while trying to maintain a minor sense of cheerfulness, not wanting to dissuade this figure right away, especially not while needing answers. The figure responded with "What's an explanation? Anyways, my name is Dodomon, you're digimon partner, welcome to the digital world Chie! I thought you'd know since you opened the digigate with your digivice.". That explained a little, but not much, Chie sighed, she closed her eyes for a minute. "Opened the digigate? what does that mean? and what's a Digivice? wait, that device i found..." she pulled out the divice from earlier, and noticed that bellow the screen it said 'D-3' "so.... this is a digivice? it has a portal function? seems like this device opened a new door, and gives a chance to grasp, but first, before I play, I need to know my pieces... starting with this device." She then faked a smile and spoke in a fake sweet tone that any intelligent person would catch, "Dodomon was it? could you please tell me what a digivice does besides opening a digigate?". Since Dodomon is quite the fool, he bought her act, and responding cheerfully "Oh yes, a digivice, I know all about that I do! It can do many things, like make me big and strong, oh is that a d-3? that can use a special form I think, oh and it can also-- uh.... I don't actually know much about them, sorry."
, that answer made it difficult to deal with this figure, but what was more frustrating was that she could not just remove Dodomon, she required his services for now. However she knew that this might be a bit of give and take, as this figure was a blob, no limbs whatsoever, she sighed once more and spoke up "So... is there anywhere else to go, or how to get back to my wold, you know, the 'non-digital' world. " only to get what she felt was an attempted shrug from the limbless being. "Nope, sorry.... can't think of anything about either" . That answer made Chie cringe, this idiot introduced itself as her guide, she knew she needed to be the bigger person, or sentient being. She stood up and picked up Dodomon carrying it in her arms, and started to walk off. "Well, than I guess I need to look for something, guess I might need you later... for whatever reason, one last question for now, you said you were a Digimon, correct? How powerful can they be?"
Dodomon answered with a cheerful tone "Very! there are godly powerful Digimon, and lowly powered Digimon like my level, however those are not set in stone, Digimon only get power through Digivolving! Most can Digivolve on their own, but some use partners like you to Digivolve!" and that answer made Chie smirk, she predicted that if she learned the secret to taming this creature and this technique described to her, that a new door would truly open up.

 [attr="class","modtext"]Dangerous digimon weren't always partying in the Nanosphere Forest. To be honest, if one was careful and witty enough they'd be able to navigate through to woods without getting injured... or that was what Pinamon thought. Ironically though, days without getting himself in trouble with others were rare. it wasn't his fault he always had to be on-the-go. Running was everything to him, unfortunately not everyone understood that. Today, however, wasn't an exemption. Once again, little Pinamon was running for his dear life after accidentally electrocuting a dokunemon. Well, unintentionally... it wasn't his fault that his tail generated its own electricity and it was definitely not his fault the insect-type touched it. It was clearly the dokunemon's choice yet it was him who had to face the consequence, much to his annoyance. Taking a sharp turn, the pinamon found himself in a small clearing running straight ahead to a strange pair, specifically at the human. As Chie started to walk while carrying Dodomon, a tiny creature was seen running. Chie noticed the creature come up. Shocked by the lack of expression. Dodomon jumped out of Chie's arms as he said "Don't worry Chie, I got this! this guy is not a problem! Chīsana Tetsu Tsubu!" and Dodomon shot tiny metal balls from it's mouth. Chie noted the attack, and sighed. "Well.... this might take some work. Dodomon might need a bit of training" and took a step back as she prepared for the oncoming assault for Dodomon, letting him take the fall. She reached into her pocket and pulled out her D-3, but it lit up and activated it's scanner function. She looked at it and noted how beside Pinamon's name it listed a level as 'in training'.
Chie looked towards the fight as she asked "Dodomon! this function on my d-3 says that the Pinamon coming towards you is an 'in training' level, what does that mean?" and in response Dodomon tried to hop out of the now aggravated digimon's way. Dodomon was panicking as he said "I don't got this! run away! he is stronger than me! I am a 'fresh' level, that's below Pinamon!" and Chie was stepping out of the way, she knew that this would be a better time to observe. In regards to Dodomon, he mistakenly led Chie astray, in her eyes, this was good discipline for him. Chie hid out of the way as Dodomon was trying to get away. "Pinamon! please don't kill me! I don't taste good!"

It was true that Dodomon was a fresh but his attack still had a bite to it, even enough to get him to stop from running and fall on his butt. But that was it and there was no way he'd let that one pass. He wasn't even doing anything worth attacking for. This dodomon's a dead kid. While Pinamon busily recovers from the little iron beads, the pair seemed to have engaged in a quick and strange conversation that made the chick feel sorry for them. Seriously, they didn't know that he was in the in-training stage? Amateurs. The nanosphere forest was definitely not the best pick to be around if they wanted to survive. "Pinamon! please don't kill me! I don't taste good!"Well, that was pathetic but the chick wouldn't be moved. This would oughta teach him to use his head before actually taking on an innocent by-passer. As he got on his feet, he began jogging in place, generating tiny sparks and sending them towards the dodomon's direction. chie kira

Chie was confused when the Pinamon was just running in the same spot. She assumed it was trying to intimidate Dodomon, even though she thought that a flower could intimidate him. She noticed the sparks, and figured out was building up a charge, on it's release she yelled "Dodomon! I think he's building up a charge for an electrical attack! If you have a brain in there get out of the way!" but much to her dismay, Dodomon looked at her and asked "What's a brain, oh is it a thinking thing, oh yes I have-" and before he could complete his sentence, he was hit be the sparks. He was bounced back a bit, shocked by the attack. Chie closed her eyes and sighed, disappointed as she decided to see if she could resolve this peacefully. "Pinamon, I apologize for that idiot I have to call a so called 'partner digimon's behavior, I meant no hostility towards you, that was just Dodomon acting out of line." and much to her dismay, Dodomon misread her attempt as a distraction and said "Thanks for the distraction! Chīsana Tetsu Tsubu!" and began to shoot tiny metal beads at Pinamon again.
Chie was now annoyed but refused to let it show, mostly just questioning how stupid Dodomon is. She spoke in her usual calm tone "Dodomon that was not a distraction, how stupid are you, I was trying to resolve this peacefully." and Dodomon saw the cold look in Chie's eye as he tried to back away, "Sorry boss, but uh.... That doesn't work with Pinamon?! Oh yes that's right, no mouths, they don't talk, just fight or flight. Guess my memory was just jolted awake." and Chie sighed, and did not bother to respond after that horrible pun, she decided to await the response of the Pinamon, hoping he was not angry.

[attr="class","modtext"]If the Pinamon had a mouth, he would have been smirking proudly at his successful move. Though, he couldn't help but to feel a bit pathetic to take pride in that attack-- the dodomon was obviously inexperienced and so was the human... But at least, she had a brain. The black-haired tamer spoke, apologizing and explaining for the sake of her and her partner which he was about to buy if it wasn't for another batch of metal beads hitting him. Was this dodomon trying to prove something? The chick slowly turned towards the fresh and although it didn't show on his face, he was really displeased. Legs began to work once again but this time Pinamon wasn't running in place but was actually moving.... moving quickly towards dodomon that was. His electric attack was quite shocking for beginners but the wrath of his melee moves would knock some senses into small fries trying to dominate. As he approached the slime digimon, he angled his head downwards and proceeded to charge. Once he and the dodomon connected, it would be a pretty awesome headbutt. chie kira note: hi chie! can you please tag me or post on the tagbox once you've replied? thank you!

Chie stepped forward out of hiding, looking at Dodomon and exclaimed "Dodomon! don't you dare lose, I've had enough today, I don't need to see my partner fail!" and Dodomon looked at her with teary eyes and said "you.... called me partner..." and Chie's D-3 screen lit up as Doromon was encased in light for a few seconds Chie called out "Dodomon! what is going on!" and as the light around her digimon faded his voice called out "Digivolution! I digivolved to Dorimon!" and in place of the slime creature was a more cat-like creature, with legs, a tale, and a more physical body. Dorimon Charged towards Pinamon and yelled "Metal drop!" as he was meeting Pinamon's tackle while simultaneously shooting iron grains instead of Dodomon's iron beads. Chie stood there calm as if this was not surprising, while she was dropping her invisible jaw at the sudden change of her Digimon. summary- Digimon: Dodomon -> Dorimon attacks used: ○Metal Drop - Spits iron grains from mouth while charging at the enemy. usagi |

[attr="class","modtext"]What's this? A digivolution? Then great, he and this digimon would have at least a fair fight. Pinamon proceeded with his attack, even adding more focus for a harder hit but as he guessed, Dorimon wouldn't make it an easy fight. Meeting head on with those iron grains wasn't the best idea-- they stung harder than the previous beads. The chick lost a bit of his concentration but had managed to keep his speed, a very bad combination for a tackle. Closing his eyes, Pinamon plucked up the courage to continue and hoped for the best. BAM! The impact was very real to the in-training and had sent him on the floor. He and Dorimon were both in the same level but he had been receiving attacks like an open book more times than the other. It wasn't fair and all he could do was wish that his pathetic tackle (if you can even call that a tackle) did a bit of a damage. chie kira note: hi chie! can you please tag me or post on the tagbox once you've replied? thank you!

As Dorimon and Pinamon hit each other, neither escaped the conflict unscathed. As Pinamon hit the ground Dorumon was sent back a bit after slipping on one of his hind-legs falling down. "Ouch that hurt! I am dying, I can see the light! Oh wait, that's just glare, my bad." and Chie sighed, loosing the ounce of respect she just had for her Digimon. Chie watched Dorimon get back up, feeling knocked up from the attack of Pinamon, Chie could not help but feel admiration from the opposing party. Fighting even though he just took a big hit from Dorimon's comeback, either he had no sense of fear, or wanted to win no matter what. Chie wiped away those thoughts as she spoke up with a calm tone that suggested cruelty and a lack of caring "Dorimon, you are on equal level with this Pinamon now, there is no excuse for failure, so get him out of my way." as Dorimon got up he replied eagerly "Right away! Metal drop!" and charged at Pinamon again. As he was tackling Pinamon yet again he was spitting out metal grains, with a deadly intent. Chie smirked as she saw Dorimon finally able to prove his worth, wondering how far her pawn can reach. She started to view Digimon as chess pieces, Dodomon was a pawn that reached the level of a knight (Dorimon). Meanwhile Dorimon was just glad to have someone around, Dorimon was afraid of being alone and saw Chie as his savior. If fighting Pinamon was what she wanted, then he will fight without regret. [attr="class","modtext"]Oh no. Pinamon's pupils constricted as the the iron grains approached. What-- again?! The chick felt a bad vibration kicking up from his stomach but it most certainly wouldn't stop him from fighting for himself. He wasn't some kind of pathetic shrimp! No one was allowed to bully him or anyone in the Digital World. The brown digimon wouldn't back down without a fight. If he gets deleted, then he'd be deleted with dignity. The chick began stomping his feet in a notably faster pace, generating stronger and larger electric charges and flakes. With unwavering courage, he welcomed Dorimon's metal drop- feeling every grain and every impact hitting his body- in order to send his Piripiri Spark towards the other in-training. chie kira

As Dorimon got close to Pinamon he could feel the electric flakes from it's attack. Chie noticed Dorimon decrease in speed a bit just as he was in close range of Pinamon. Dorimon still managed to make the hit connect, but not without a toll on himself. He felt the pain of the sparks conducted through the metal grains and the sparks that hit him directly. The pain from the tackles recoil also did a fair bit of damage. He was heavily breathing, waiting for either Pinamon to drop, or run away. In an attempt of bravery he said "I won't lose to you, not in behind of my partner!" to which Chie would have felt some form of ease to know that she had an eternal ally, but she was disappointed by his stupidity. "Dorimon, you mean in front of, not behind" and Dorimon shot her a look of confusion "you sure about that? I think you might want to get a refund on wherever you got your education", if Chie didn't have the calmness of a lake she would be cringing right now, she was ticked that Dorimon was stuck with her for a while, but she didn't flinch for a second. She started to walk in a direction slowly, "Dorimon, ensure that Pinamon is out of the way, this is starting to get redundant, I need to figure out a way to return to my world and this Pinamon is just a worthless distraction, stop playing and get serious." In response, Dorimon started to charge at Pinamon once more, giving everthing he had and more shooting metal grains and charging. "Metal drop!" [attr="class","modtext"]Pinamon couldn't help but to admire the bravery and passion his opponent was showing. Despite being ordered around and insulted even!, he continued to fight for the human. Stupidity, martyrdom... or perhaps loyalty? As a free digimon, the chick couldn't completely comprehend but it seemed as if traits like those and the desire to protect others would trigger digivolution faster than you could say battle. It was a long fight and Pinamon, himself, wasn't quite ready for a battle like this. He wanted to stay and fight but meh, they'd probably cross paths again. For now, he'd stand back. He knew he did his best. He fought good. He could rest peacefully. With a calm deamanor, the brown digimon willingly accepted the grains- his defeat- before falling down unconscious on the ground. - PINAMON IS DEFEATED - chie kira

As Pinamon fell, Chie did not even so much as congratulate Dorimon, she immediately walked away and said "Dorimon, let's go, Pinamon is not worth anything more." and Immediately Dorimon rushed after Chie, believing that he was not praised as this was the first fight and she had nothing to value it for. As they walked Chie was annoyed, not able to figure out a way home was bad enough, but she realized that Pinamon was not the only threat she'd have to face, and that they're would be plenty more.
Dorimon looked up at Chie with wide curious eyes and asked "Where we goin' Chie?" and Chie coldly responded "I don't know, as you are no help I will find someone who is"
