Brennan let out a yawn, bored beyond his mind. He had mastered Trigonometry years ago, but still, he sat in this classroom, learning... well, nothing. He sat slumped over his desk as his teacher droned on about the Pythagorean Theorem in Japanese, which Brennan didn't understand, honestly, practically everyone he knew had already been familiar with the concept in, at the very latest, the seventh grade. Nevertheless, he could not afford to fall behind in his studies, so he scribbled down everything the boring old man in horn-rimmed glasses said, albeit sloppily. He sighed quietly but kept writing, looking around the class for something interesting, anything interesting. "Alright, class." The man wheezed in Japanese, "What's the answer to this question?"
He rapped a piece of chalk against a triangle on the chalkboard. Simple math. Just like always. Brennan raised his hand, as he always did, and as always, the teacher, Mr. Moriyama, did not pick on him. Instead, he pointed to a random student who wasn't paying attention, "You, what's the answer?" The girl looked up, startled. "Eh?" She muttered, "Uh, is the answer 13?" He shook his head, "Idiot." He muttered under his breath in Portuguese, to keep people from understanding him. Nevertheless, the entire class stared at him, and he waved awkwardly. Mr. Moriyama stated at Brennan, "Do you know the answer?" Mr. Moriyama asked coolly. Brennan shrugged, "It's 17, is it not?" He could tell my Mr. Moriyama's irritated expression that he was correct. Brennan sighed once again, "This is easy." He muttered, "I'm going to the restroom." Mr. Moriyama was very cleared extremely irritated, but he didn't stop Brennan as he opened the door and walked towards the restroom. "This is so stupidly easy. He muttered to himself in English, "Why am I even here?"
