"Are you ssseriousss right now? What do you mean I 'play to hard~'?" The Kuramon asked as it made its way next to its partner, the American Tamer named Maxwell. The Digimon was clearly not excited about the comment that was made about being a bit destructive when it wanted to play.

"I'm not trying to be mean, just honest. Remember the last time we played? You crashed my home network and deleted a bunch of random files! I should be happy nothing else was connected to the internet at that time." Max stated, albeit rather sternly. He'd gotten to the point where his partner's playful antics had to change. Anytime they did stuff together, something ALWAYS seemed to go wrong. Of course, it wasn't Necross's fault since he didn't know better.

But it needed to change.

So Max decided to follow a rumor he'd heard about a place in the old sewer system where people and digimon went to get things out of their system and try to change the way they did things. It was really what they needed.Especially if there was another, stronger digimon that would let them get this stuff out of the Kuramon's system. Even if it was just a phase or a momentary relief, anything would help. At least, that's what he hoped.

[attr="class","grtext"]It was getting hopeless; Anastasia had been waiting for what it seemed like hours but not a single sight of life had passed their way. Just a few moments ago, she was in Terabyte City trying to look for a route out. She wasn't too confident with her navigating skills so she went against Puru's advice and asked for direction from a random stranger. After some twist and turns, she ended up in a maze-like sewer.

The Virulent Waterways wasn't a playground, not for the new meat at least, that was why Puru insisted that they stayed in one place and waited for help to arrive. It wasn't the best choice but in her condition, she wouldn't be able to protect Anastasia against strays. While old and seemingly deserted, this maze-like sewer definitely catered dangerous types.

The British remained quiet, sitting on the cold ground, hugging the pururumon between her chest and knees. Guilt pressed so hard against her shoulders that she felt she'd fall. Her digimon did reassure her- after giving her a long scolding- but the realization of still not being ready to do things herself drowned her... until faint voices caught her attention. She quickly turned to Puru, who gave her a nod of encouragement.

Anastasia quickly got on her feet, following the sound-- it wasn't too far. Hope began to leak in as the voices got louder and at a turn at a corner, her gaze met the back of another human. "E-Excuse me!" She stuttered, trying to sound as loud as she could be. Finally, someone!

Maxwell instinctively turned towards the noise. Had a voice just called out? He reached towards his gun. No reason to not be careful down here.

"Isss it sssomeone to play with me?" The Kuramon asked as it began to make its way to the voice's origin. Of course the data consuming Digimon would be able to do something like trace the sounds. It wasn't a smart move to make, but his partner certainly was impulsive and acted on his own.

"Are you serious Necross? That could be dangerous!" Max scolded his partner when he followed the fresh digimon's path. When he caught up, he noticed a woman with her own digimon. Time to be polite. He reminded himself.

"Hi there. Is there something I could help you with?" It was a simple question, but one that often led to answers. Or more conversation. Either way, the Tamer was prepared to handle almost any situation right now.

[attr="class","grtext"]"Kuramon" Puru called upon catching a glimpse of the jellyfish-like creature on its way to them. It made Anastasia stop and stare; she looked at her own digimon then back to the other, then to the human running and calling after this little kuramon.

As the man got closer, the pink-haired felt more relieved. What seemed to be pressing against her shoulders was suddenly lifted upon seeing another on of her kind. She felt reassured; all hope coming back into one piece. "H-Hi!" Anastasia replied almost abruptly at his greeting, then blushing upon realizing her exaggerated reaction. But hey, who could blame her? She was excited not to be alone. She slumped her shoulders together out of embarrassment, though cleared her throat as she prepared to speak again "I-I mean hi," A slight tint of pink crept across her face.

The pururumon let out a sigh at her tamer's impulsive actions before giving the girl a nudge, signalling her to carry on with the talking. "Well, it might sound a bit odd but do you know the way out of this place?" She inquired, a bit of reluctance lingering in her voice. The last time she asked a stranger, she ended up in a sewer. There was no telling where this guy's direction would take her but then again he didn't look that shady or anything. Besides, it wasn't like they had a choice. Her eyes widened, though, upon realizing an error "Oh my, where are my manners," She almost exclaimed, bowing a little to show her apology "I'm Anastasia, it's a pleasure to meet you." She introduced, a small smile forming on her lips.

Maxwell smirked. "Of course I'll help. Name's Maxwell. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance Anastasia." The digidestined said to the woman. It wasn't often he met others, but it was certainly a nice change of pace. They would need to go back the way they came, meaning that his original intention for coming down here would have to wait. He just hoped Necross wouldn't make a big deal out of it.

"Pleassse ssstop giving me that look!" The fresh digimon piped up at Maxwell's expression. The Kuramon would oblige to his partner's desire to help right now. Solely because it increased the likelihood he had of playing with the pururumon. The jellyfish like digimon made its way over to Maxwell before climbing up his leg and finally resting on his shoulder. It wasn't often that he chose to get this close to the human, but it would help their timing.

"So what brought you down here, if I may ask? It's not often that people just wander down here without having some intention they were pursuing originally." Max questioned. It wasn't his fault and his time at the university had only made it worse. Things were sure to get interesting the longer they were together and down here. He just hoped it would lead them to anything dangerous. Worse case scenario, he would pull his gun out and hope that it would deter anything from approaching long enough for them to escape.

[attr="class","grtext"]Upon this postive response, Anastasia was finally able to breathe easily. It was like luck was on her side today; a prince had appeared to come to her rescue, or that was at least how she tries to see the situation. "Oh, thank you!" She chirped happily, leaning just a tad bit closer. This guy probably had no idea how happy and alive he made her feel-- a million thank you's weren't enough for this favor.

Her attention was then brought to the protesting kuramon. Despite its strange appearance, it had its special appeal. Certainly, it was adorable in its own little way. Red eye followed the jellyfish's journey to its tamer's shoulder. She gave it a small smile before turning her attention to Maxwell and his inquiry. Though to be honest, she didn't want to talk about that subject, but that would just be rude.

"Well, it's kind of a funny story," She began, lightly scratching her cheek while a short string of nervous chuckle slipped her lips "Puru and I were on our way out the city but we didn't exactly know how," Without even finishing her story, Anastasia was quite sure that anyone would be able to guess how she ended up in the Virulent Waterways "So, we asked for directions and ended up here." She sealed her story with yet another string of chuckle, though this time they came out more natural "How about you?" She turned to him with a gentle beam.

Well, that was a certainly odd set of directions she seemed to have gotten. However, they were not out of the question that they were possibly given, especially if it was on purpose.

"We came here to play with othersss!" Necross piped up to answer the woman's question. It certainly wasn't like him to interact with others so easily unless he was in a playful mood. But the Kuramon seemed pretty tame at the moment. Was it a sign of maturity? Highly unlikely.

"It's as my partner says. It shouldn't be hard for us to find our way back in after we take you out. In fact, we might just come at a later date." Max said as he started to think about what time it was. He didn't want to be too tired for his classes tomorrow. Whatever happened, it would surely have some sort of reasonable price. He might even learn something on their way back out.
