Akihabara District
Located in the Akihabara district of the Chiyoda ward of Tokyo, Japan. Sometimes referred to as Akiba after a former local shrine, is a district in central Tokyo that is famous for its many electronics shops.
In more recent years, Akihabara has gained recognition as the center of Japan's Otaku culture, and many shops and establishments devoted to anime and manga are now dispersed among the electronic stores in the district. On Sundays, Chuo Dori, the main street through the district, is closed to car traffic from 12 to 8pm
It isn't uncommon to see many events like conventions or competitions held from card tournaments to arcades to even kimono contests. The area is truly a hub for those who are into technology and the Otaku Life style; a nerds dream.
Among many shops that scatter the area for technology there are many businesses such as maid cafe where maids will serve you food and drinks. A popular hang out to eat with friends. However, for those more interested in beautiful woman dressed up. There are a few cuddle centers; where they will cuddle and comfort guest who eat or drink tea.
Cards shops and hang out spots can be found around every corner. Most of which sell various cards such as pokemon, digimon, yu-gi-oh and so forth. However most hang out locations stream anime and host events for them daily.
If gaming is your thing the have game centers; arcades scattered about as well. With all sorts of fun things from racing games to more traditional combat games. Along the roads they also have some Kekbab shops which is one of the newer crazes in japan and a quick lunch for those not willing to spend the extra cash at a cafe.
Over all the city has a very welcoming and fun going atmosphere a true paradise for nerds. However todays journey takes them to one of the more famous card shops in japan.

Famous for it's cards, this shop hold weekly digimon, yu-gi-oh, magic, pokemon and duel masters tournaments. A fun location to buy good cards for cheap prices. This is where we find ourselves currently in the geek haven of Akihabara.
Ryuu shifting about inside looking at some of the rarer cards and rubbing his chin. Would pause to stare at the price some before shifting his gaze to the owner he'd asking the price for a specific. Shaking his head he decide to test his luck with a rare card pack.
Opening the pack he'd pull four rare cards and grin.A Plugin: Accel Burst, 100% boost speed/power, an Argomon's Judecca Cannon and two Alphamon's Ouryuken. A good pull, a few repeats he'd trade but it wasn't an issue. Looking among others in the shop he'd rub his head some looking for someone to trade with.
Finding an American on vacation here Damion DeAndre he'd be surprised by his skills in a match he watched only to see him lose and walk away in frustration. Having hand him his cards and mumble something about quitting. He'd grin at his new found cards and add them to his collection. Taking that as a sign of luck, he'd prepare to exit the shop before bumping into someone.
