Leyton was relaxing atop of one of Central Park's many benches. He was sitting in the traditional 'draw me like a french girl' pose watching as people, more specifically jogging women, interact about the park. He didn't know what to make of the device in his pocket, in fact, it was a bit disheartening that it wouldn't leave him alone at all. If he threw it away, it would find it's way back, if he lost it on purpose it would turn up, no matter what he did he couldn't shake this damned device. For a moment he thought about the instrument and whatever it might have done, that is until he spotted a few ladies doing Yoga not too far away from where he was.
"Maybe I should get in on that," he tapped him chin pondering on what he'd do, "Naaaah." he turned his attention to the dimming sky, he let out a yawn.
"Getting dark, and I'm getting sleepy..." he muttered laying his head on his now flat arm, "Maybe I can take a quick... Nap" his eyes drifted shut before ultimately closing. With a loud groan, he shifted on the bench, snoring even louder. It was just a little nap. What could go wrong? |

 People Run In Circles it's a very, very mad world It didn't take much for a certain University student to get motivated to go for a run. Although it was getting dark, Maxwell didn't care. He preferred it anyways, especially since it made things quieter for him. Gave him a chance to think, something he didn't necessarily have often nowadays. He kept his D-Power on him, since there was no reason to miss the potentially dangerous situation he could help with. " Hey Maxy~ can we pleasssse play ssssome?" The familiar digitized voice came from the Digivice. Maxwell stopped and looked at the device's screen. The Kuramon literally kept bothering him at some of the most inconvenient time. It wasn't so much that he didn't like the digimon, but his destructively playful nature wasn't helpful at all when not in the proper setting. The Tamer merely sighed. " Look. I told you I would play with you after classes this week. They end tomorrow for me. So please relax until then." He said simply to the Digimon. He lifted his head to look around, there was no reason for others to think he was being weird. It would be the last thing he needed, especially if a fellow student saw him. It would be a kiss to his academic and social career goodbye. He did see one guy who looked like he was napping. Not smart for the approaching time of the day. I should probably wake him up. He thought as he began walking toward the figure. Necross was still saying something, but his partner was merely ignoring him. It was blissful in a sense. " Hey, buddy, you awake! If not, get off you're ass and go home. It's not safe to be in these parts when nigh sets in." |

Leyton's conscious was mildly active; he felt himself drift into a slumber like state, the fresh air of the approaching night brushed against his messy white hair, his skin becoming rough with goose bumps, lips chapping as the air passes over them. Nothing could ruin this night; his environment was bending to his will. "Easy like Sunday moooornin'" he mumbled, voice becoming sluggish with the impending rest.
The rustling of the tree tops and the wisp of the wind began to sing a natural lullaby to the sleepy boy. "Rest in-" a voice broke Leyton's sleeping form. Why couldn't Leyton get a single nap in? Just one nap would be nice, anywhere but his place. His bachelor pad was getting stale. Particularly with the lack of female companionship, yes Leyton was that shallow, but he didn't care, he would rather be thirsty and dry than drowning and water logged.
Leyton's coffee eyes groggily opened, a groan escaping his thin lips. "What?" he asked, eyes wet and red. He narrowed his eyes at the boy before him, "Oh? Then why are you out here at this time of night?"

People Run In Circles it's a very, very mad world Max thought as he raised an eye brow at the man's question. " What makes you think I might not be on my way home?" He asked simply. It's not like it made much difference. He had his gun on him in the back on his back. If anything would potentially happen, it wouldn't take him much to pull it out and disarm the situation. That's assuming that Necross didn't cause some issue raising more unwanted attention. His D-Power beeped, noting that Necross was trying to get his attention. Not the time to just casually be talking to his digital partner. |

Ah, a man of Leyton's own breed, a people person. Leyton got a big grin on his face, "What makes you think that I wasn't about to wake up and go home..."
Leyton's D-tector was buzzing, but there were no Ringbound meetings, or atleast not any that he knew about. Pulling out his D-tector he studied the screen, there was nothing there but a bit image of a Kotemon jumping up and down in excitement. "What on Earth.." This was the first time this had happened to him, never before had he seen this Kotemon, was it his spirit maybe? Strange regardless. 'This human is something special,' a monotonous voice said in Leyton's conscious, 'treat him with respect.'
"Uh.. okay Voice in my head." he replied through his thoughts. "My mistake man, I almost didn't recognize a fellow digidestined."

Must have been why he was freaking out when he engaged the other guy. " Honestly, I had no idea you were one either. I think my partner knew, but I was ignoring him because of where we were. So is there anything special you've enjoyed about being a digidestined yet?" Max asked the other guy. It was rarer for him to meet another chosen one in the real world. That was speaking relatively, since he still didn't run across that many of them in the digital world either. It would have been better to meet in more favorable circumstances, but to be honest, it was probably better that they were together. Strength in numbers, right? |

Leyton smiled at the human, so he was one of the few selected by a digivice, though he was mentioning being a Tamer. This was interesting, a real tamer, other than Astoria of course, this one lacked the venom that the lovely Miss Astoria had. He must have been a bit kinder to his digimon.
Anything special? There wasn't much to being a Spirit wielder, he got a voice in his head and would often never truly feel alone anymore, that was about it in the real world. "Honestly? I could use some more company, but use spirit wielders must hold our own." he laughed.
"Ah, so you don't allow your partner to freely travel in the real world?" he tilted his head, this was strange, from his research most tamers allowed their partners to take their premature forms when in the real world. "IS your partner too rambunctious?" |

People Run In Circles it's a very, very mad world rambunctions? That was easily one one way to put it. His partner was a crazy son of a gun. If it was in the real world... He didn't even want to think about the nightmare that would be. Plus, Necross often ate any sort of data in his path and the city was full of it. Before he could speak, the digivice chimed again. This time, a digitized voice could be heard. " Why the hell aren't you sssaying anything in my defenssse, Maxi?! I can be resssponsssible when I want to be! But on another note, do you think this dunce would be up to play?" The Kuramon looked more playfully intrigued than the anger its voice communicated. It things could get worse, they were definitely starting onto that path. This could get really ugly... Maxwell thought as he began thinking things through. " Well, is it okay with you if I port him here? His play can be a bit on the destructive side, but he's still a Fresh-leveled Digimon, so it's unlikely that he can do much damage." Maxwell asked the other digidestined. The student hoped that this would at least attempt to appease the young digimon. |
