When the man pulled out his peculiar digivice the three Tsukaimon froze on the spot, and for a moment one could have even heard a whispering 'By Numemon's droppings, we really got ourselves in a mess'. Of course the three of them were almost paralyzed with fear, in the end everyone in Terabyte city knew that messing with a DATS member was just asking for troubles. So either they would have fled as quickly as possible, or prayed to the twelve that they would have been spared from some horrible punishment. However, they certainly didn't expect the aforementioned punishment to involve being given a meal! The youngest one of the trio teared up, seemingly saying some words of gratitude while she started to devour the meal, the two elder siblings soon following suit after one of them replied. "Thank you... Ever since the wall collapsed and our house was destroyed we haven't had a decent meal in days, and with mom and pops gone..." However, upon hearing the description of the Blackagumon the youngest one flapped her ears in panic. "That's Blacky! You don't want to go to Blacky right now mister DATS!" The younger Tsukaimon seemed to had gotten one worried as she stated in a rushed tone. "Fight club is inside the large warehouse, near the outskirts of the city but don't go! If you go nobody will see you again! You see, Blacky and his human have been going into the Waterways recently! At first human was scary, had creepy look in her eyes like Digimon from the Dark Area, but one day I saw a human and two Digimon approach her! Really scary fight happened, but after that I met Blacky and his human and they changed! Even offered me a meal like Mister DATS! Said something about about hope and being strong... But Blacky and his human got enemies! REALLY scary enemies, I heard they were going to try to teach Blacky a lesson today... Blacky is strong, especially with human by his side but scary enemies are just as strong! but they gonna fight unfair! That's how they win for sure!" Seems something serious was going to happen at the fight club! Meanwhile as Yana and Ari discovered the large door leading into the warehouse it seemed to had been unlocked! Just a mere look inside the warehouse shown that they had arrived at the right place. Several Digimon and tamers alike were crowded around what appeared to be a pit of sorts where two Digimon and their tamers, a Tentomon and a Elecmon were in the midst of a heated duel. It seemed a billboard near the entrance shown a list of rules if Yana was curious about them, a bit to the side there was even some vendor stands with food and what appeared to be a place where one could bet on matches or sign up for them. Still, it seemed like there was no Blackagumon nearby... However, there did seem to be several cloaked figures, some among the crowd, others who preferred to stay in the shadows, lurking around the walls or seated on one of the crates... all in all it brought a feeling of both excitement and danger! ---- Current Objective: For Jeremiah: Your kindess has revealed a dangerous plot! Indeed there was an entrance... Yana found one of the supposed panels could actually be slid open, and after she figured that out it was just a matter of stepping inside. And being immediately overwhelmed by the crowd around her! It seemed like the large amount of tamers and digimon were all grouped up in a circle for the sole purpose of watching a pit below; and it didn't take a genious to guess what that pit was used for. Yana cringed at the sounds of fighting coming from below, and though Ari was visibly more at ease with it, she was clearly not too fond of pit fighting either. All in all, both girls were clearly outside their line of comfort, being mostly pacifists and all. "Is he really here...?", Yana wondered out loud, earning a quizzical head shake from Ari. She gulped and looked below, seeing a Tentomon and an Elecmon going at it for no apparent reason other than entertaining the masses... How did people enjoy this...? How did mother enjoy this too? She went on and on about the wonders of combat sports, perhaps that was the reason why her daughter grew so peaceful. In the meantime, Ari approached the nearby stands, asking the attendants: "Excuse me, is there a BlackAgumon fighting anytime soon...?", she'd inquire with a sweet yet calm look in her eyes. In the meantime, Yana looked down at the pits... But she wasn't really focused on the fighting, rather the arena itself. Where did the contestants come in from and out of? Where did they go to rest? While Ari went to try to gather some information from the nearby attendants, it appeared Yana's cursory gaze around the arena provided ample of information. Two large doorways, seemingly guarded by a rather tall Leomon were used by the arena participants, and it was likely inside that they rested and prepared for the upcoming challenges. It was easy to confirm this when the Elecmon won the battle, causing both Tamers to exchange a greeting in the form of a handshake to show their sportsmanship and then carry the fallen Elecmon back into the tunnel, a man next to Yana explaining in a cheerful tone, likely noticing her confused look. "There is a medical team in each of the combatant rooms, and battles here are usually not permitted to go beyond rendering your opponent unconscious. That's why we got those Leomon around." Yet at the same time Yana obtained this information, it seemed another hint of information was about to reveal itself when one of the attendants answered the Gatomon's inquiry with a smile. "A Blackagumon? Let's see... If you mean Kuro, then yes, he and Reikiko are supposed to be up next round. See why the crowd has been gathering, they are quite a duo to behold." And indeed, while Yana was looking at the arena it seemed a coated figure approached the arena, slowly lowering her hood, while the Black Agumon at her side nodded his head confidently. However, while cheers started to fill the arena, the opponent revealed themselves, a young man wearing a smug grin on his lips, arms folded up beneath his chest while a BlackGabumon stood at his side. "Remember me Black?" The Blackagumon tilted his head to the side in confusion, before shrugging his shoulders lightly. "How can I remember every fool that challenges us? And if Aneki doesn't remember you, then you're not worth remembering!" The crowd laughed at the Blackagumon's taunt, yet their opponent didn't seem that pleased, a loud whistle accompanying a heavy thud sound, as the two Leomon who were watching over the arena collapsed onto their knees, their bodies bruised and battered as a Weregarurumon jumped into the pit beside the man, a smirk upon the tamer's lips. "Don't take it personal, I just hate it when someone embarrasses me!" "Oooh... I see.", Yana nodded, smiling appreciatingly for the tips, and clearly relieved that they didn't fight to the death. It looked like that kind of place but Leomon was a kind, righteous Digimon. His mere presence alone was reassuring enough. Meanwhile, Ari had a good bit more luck than Yana did in her quest for information. Speaking to the clerks confirmed the presence of a BlackAgumon - Apparently named Kuro - Who would be fighting shortly alongside his tamer Reikiko. She came into the arena wearing a cloak, and her opponent was apparently another tamer partnered with a BlackGabumon. The two girls had seen enough but this much appreciated help saved them a good bit of time, and Ari responded in kind, "Alright, 100 bits on Kuro!", she said confidently, dropping a few bits on the table and expecting a ticket in return. Of course, it wouldn't be nearly as easy... How could it? Apparently the BlackGabumon was a recurring opponent for Kuro, one he had defeated often enough. And so he had lost patience with fighting fairly, and before anybody knew what was happening, the Leomon Referees were down for the count. As a WereGarurumon stepped into the ring, everybody knew something illegal was about to go down: An Ultimate type against a rookie?! This was obviously illegal, but fortunately for them, Illegal went both ways. "Nana-chan, Digivolution time!!", Ari called out as she leapt into the pit, jumping over the railing, as Yana nodded resolutely. She may dislike fighting, but cheap, one sided fighting was even worse! At least the previous contestants had sportsmanship. "Okay! Digi Armor ENERGIZE!!", Yana responded, raising her digivice and letting its radiance envelop her partner and trigger her digivolution. "Gatomon Armor Digivolves to... NEFERTIMON!!", landing in the arena with a loud thump, Ari would address Kuro, "Hope you don't mind if I even the playing field a little?" The WereGarurumon would find his path blocked by Ari, who seemed intent on letting Kuro Battle his rival without any interruptions...

When the Weregarurumon showed up Reikiko's initial reaction was one of surprise, seemingly having not anticipated the ambush, but after a moment she seemed to... smile? Yes, that smile upon her lips seemed to suggest she was welcoming the challenging, her hand reaching inside her cloak, a dark pulse of light coming from within it, but it was at that point Yana's interference caused the girl's gaze to shift toward her partner, who merely shrugged in response. The Blackagumon turned toward the armor-empowered Ari and merely grinned at her, replying in a confident tone. "Usually I would be pretty annoyed if you took my prey, but I'm tired after a day of playing around, so feel free to play with them as much as you desire!" Reikiko's response seemed more modest, a whisper of gratitude as she turned her focus toward the battlefield. There was two opponents, and with the new arrival claiming the more troublesome one of the duo it was clear that she had to fight the Blackgabumon! "Kuro-" "On it Aneki!" Even before the girl could finish her order it seemed the Blackagumon already anticipated her order, rushing forwards and unleashing a series of fiery projectiles toward his opponent, opening their clash! However, for some peculiar reason the fireballs were a little bit more intense than normally... The tamer seemed slightly perplexed by Ari and Yana's intervention, a groan of annoyance coming from the man as he made a gesture toward the Weregarurumon.

"Deal with them."

The Were Garurumon nodded his head firmly, a low growl coming from the predator before he rushed forwards toward the evolved Ari. She would likely find that her opponent was quite a speedy foe, being able to enclose the distance in a matter of moments, and with a violent opening strike in the form of a raised claw he attempted to slice the Nefertimon with a vicious Kaiser Nail!

In the meanwhile Kuro had engaged with the Black Gabumon, the small creature inhaling sharply before expelling a long stream of blue flames that consumed Kuro's projectiles before rushing up toward the black raptor, attempting to headbutt it with his horn. It appeared that the commotion within the arena had stirred something, because the sound of shouting voices came from outside the building, some people fleeing already from the scene. It appeared someone was calling for help!

The BlackAgumon hardly even seemed bother to be ambushed like that... Was he really, really strong, or just really cocky? Perhaps a healthy mix of both? Either way, neither Ari nor Yana approved of what was happening here the moment it turned from sport into a cheap, unfair ambush, and judging by the incredible power of Nefertimon's radiant aura, they weren't the only one to think like that: The wounded Leomon, the spectators, Kuro himself, all of the contributed to the power of Queen's radiance, empowering both Kuro and Ari. But there was no time to admire this newfound power, the Black Agumon promptly sprang to battle and very soon Ari would be forced to do the same. "How nice of you~", she teased Kuro with a playful giggle, her eyes firmly locked onto the Lupine enemy in front of her. Her opponent may be fast, but with her combined leg power and a swift thrust of her Wings, Ari quickly avoided the charging WereGarurumon by leaping upwards, activating her Curse of Queen. At the moment, she'd take full advantage of her foes' reduced speed, producing a beam of Light from her back and shooting forth a large slab of Rock in one of her signature attacks, "Rosetta Stone!!" Regardless of whether or not this initial attack hit home, Yana would be on her toes, watching her partner from the front row, cheering her partner on, "Gambare, Ariiii!!"

The Blackgabumon's attack was swift, but Kuro felt himself somewhat more invigorated than normally, his claws grasping a hold of the horn that attempted to impale him, and while the two were locked in a power struggle for a moment it seemed that Ari's encouraging aura drove him onward, making the black raptor let out a roar, with an attempt to force the Black Gabumon off-balance, soon accompanied with a powerful series of jabs that would finish up with a powerful headbutt. In the meanwhile Reikiko took a step forward, a sudden jolt of pain coursing through the back of her hand, her remaining hand suddenly covering the feint purple glow of the mark. "Don't worry Aneki! I won't need to evolve against an opponent like this!" For a moment it looked like she was about to protest, but then again... Kuro did have a point, the situation they were in was already considered quite messy, if the peacekeepers of Terabyte city arrived to find Kuro in his evolved state then things would surely get even more complicated! "Fine... Kuro, take him down!" "Aye Aye Aneki!" It seemed that Ari's attempt to slow down the two opponents was quite effective, even the Were Garurumon found himself slowed slightly by the effect of the curse, while the poor Black Gabumon was slowed enough that Kuro's Mach Jab combo landed cleanly, one punch after another following before the headbutt made him reeling backwards, attempting to regain his footing, soon retaliating by slamming the raptor with his shoulder, the sudden attack sending Kuro staggering as the two continued their brawl.

For Ari however the fight would prove to be more intense, as the Were Garurumon leaped into the air, seemingly in a straight bee-line for the approaching slab of stone, a punching motion being made to obliterate the projectile, and while a part of the boulder's fragments slammed into his shoulder, making it feel as if his shoulder just got sprained, the Were Garurumon's jumping abilities were revealed to be just as rumored, the large bipedal hunter ascending above the transformed Ari, before trying to slam one of his legs onto her head to send her reeling back toward the ground.

Even if his speed was reduced, the bursts he could make on terms of agility still shown his prowess as an ultimate opponent!

"We don't have time for this you two! Hurry up and beat those idiots already before the cops get here!"

The Were Garurumon grunted in annoyance, for even if he was an Ultimate stage fighter, he still had his hands full dealing with the evolved form of Ari, the armor-enhanced evolution being quite a difficult foe for him to handle.

The slowing effect was rather successful, Ari was in no position to see it but from her high point Yana was perfectly capable of checking out how much even Kuro managed to benefit from her debuff, perhaps even more so due to BlackGabumon's Virus attribute and lower level. Her own battle, however, was a lot different. Garurumon leapt into the air right after Ari, but neither the Nefertimon or her tamer were foolish enough to let him get close, not while he just put himself in an incredibly precarious position, "Get back, Ari!!" , urged Yana The difference between Armor Ultimate or an actual Ultimate level wasn't even that big, and the Beast Man digimon had made the mistake of attempting an airborne battle against an opponent with wings. Seeing him leap into the air, Ari promptly thrust her wings forwards, propelling herself backwards and perfectly clear of any attacks, as her heardress glew pink, "Beam of Isis!" SPOILER: Click to show ○ Beam of Isis - Allows Ari to shoot two homing beams of light from her headdress; this deals half damage per beam if they hit separate enemies. If it hits a Virus type enemy, they take double damage and are blinded for a single turn. Two beams would be fired towards WGarurumon, travelling around to strike both his right and left flanks, while in the meantime Nefetimon's paw guards glimmered as she fired a flurry of razor sharp gemstones, completing the deadlock and attacking her foe from three separate angles at once. If that weren't enough, she'd keep firing jewels from her paws as she strafed around it, always keeping a safe distance; ready to react to any unexpected attacks... SPOILER: Click to show ○ Nile Jewelry - Ari shoots small and sharp jewels from the gems in her paws. This attack is quick and easy to execute and has a large area of effect, but no additional bonuses.

While he listened to the warnings of the Tsukaimon, he also completely ignored them. Unfortunately, he was still quite far from the warehouse district, and it would take some time to get there. He swiped a card, and Behemoth, a large black motorbike started to appear near him. He hopped on, with Monmon jumping on behind him, and made his way to the warehouse as quickly as he could. He arrived 5 minutes later, which, while it didn't seem like long to most people, was an excruciatingly long period for him. A lot could have happened, and he didn't particularly want anything bad to happen to the target, or the girl that was assisting with the request. As such, when he heard the sounds of a fight erupting, he rushed in, Kong digivolving as he entered the building. Jeremiah and the now larger white monkey took a second to take in what was happening. The guards were seemingly incapacitated, and a blue haired girl with a Black Agumon were fighting a Black Gabumon. Not only that, but it seemed Yana was fighting someone as well. A WereGarurumon. Quickly assessing the situation, he realized that was probably the more urgent situation. As the WereGarurumon broke the slab and jumped into the air above the Neferitimon, he acted quickly, swiping two cards. A pair of large, red draconic wings appeared from Kongs back, and a large cannon like spear was slung under his arms. The effect of Examons Avalon Gate and Caledfwlch had taken effect, and the second card, Plugin:Adrenaline, doubled his power. His Visor locked on to the WereGarurumon, increasing his accuracy, and aimed the lance at the wolf digimon. A large orb of light appeared on the end, building in intensity, before a large, powerful beam of light lanced towards it. Jeremiah walked over to Yana, holding the lunch in his hand. The sudden arrival of the behemoth seemed to had surprised both sides of the battlefield, the enemy tamer seemingly looking slightly flabbergasted at the fancy motorcycle while Reikiko merely blinked in confusion before realizing her enemy was wide-open for an attack. Kuro intended to exploit this attack to its fullest, suddenly darting over to the Black Gabumon, who found himself without any orders, and during an attempt to improvise Kuro had already gained the upperhand by slamming his first clawed paw towards the little creature's face, before launching a renewed Mach Jab Combo that would surely disable his opponent in a matter of moments. However, Reikiko's gaze had quickly turned from Jeremiah back toward the battle, seemingly intending to finish it before her opponent could recover! ---- Reikiko post, GM post incoming next with details and actions of the opponents

To say that the arrival of Jeremiah had thrown their enemy from the boiling pot into the raging fire was not an understatement. While the Were Garurumon had been occupied trying to deal with the flying Ari, his best efforts to avoid the beams of light that were launched his way by shifting his body mid-jump, one of the beams did struck his already injured body, and with the jewel projectiles being conjured he could only barely retain enough speed to maneuver amidst the crates in the warehouse to avoid being barraged by them.

However, the hunter's mistake was clearly made when he was about to unleash some sort of powerful attack, a glow coating his body, but before the attack could be properly carried out Jeremiah's partner moved in. Avalon's gate was quite a powerful attack, especially with the adrenaline boost that Kong was experiencing, the blast hitting the Weregarurumon cleanly in the chest and sending him crashing toward the ground.

The tamer groaned in anger before looking at Jeremiah, realizing that this new companion of theirs would make the odds way too much, grumbling some curses while looking around like a trapped animal: clearly planning something.

In the meanwhile the Black Gabumon's endurance had reached its limit, the collection of punches from the Mach Jab Combo making it collapse onto its belly and remain motionless!

"If it wasn't for those meddlesome kids I would have finally gotten my revenge!"

Yep, it seemed the tamer really had found himself outgunned this time, literally judging from the equipment the evolved Kong was wearing! alongside Yana's armor-infused partner.

Ari's barrage had Weregarurumon on the defensive, and in the end no matter how hard he struggled, he was still attempting to dodge attacks in mid air, which was hugely ineffective - if not impossible - if one didn't have wings. Even if he jumped around in crates like that, there was only so far he could go and so far he could move while in midair. Thus, though he blocked one of her beams, he was unable to block the second, or the many sharp gems Ari shot afterwards, and in the end she landed quite a bit of attacks. But that wasn't even all of it. Soon, Kuro had wiped the floor with his already weak; but further weakened opponent, and to add insult to injury, Jeremiah - the DATS agent - arrived soon after. Not only did this salty tamer completely fail at ambushing a rookie with an Ultimate by his side, he was also most likely going to be arrested for his trickery. Kong further added insult to injury, unleashing attacks on the Airborne wereGarurumon. "Don't worry, you got the lunch back.", Yana smiled warmly, not really upset at Jeremiah's delay: She and Ari were perfectly capable of taking care of themselves and hold down the fort until he got back. But now that he did, they had to finish this, "That WereGarurumon is going to be troublesome. It's still an ultimate level... We should take care of his tamer while he's down." The Nefertimon understood the message, and immediately followed through on knocking down WereGarurumon: She would suddenly swoop grab the tamer by the scruff of his collar and beat her wings upwards, "Up you go!", flying up and dropping the cheater among the stands and spectators, right next to Jeremiah and Yana. This should be enough for the DATS agent or the security to do whatever they wanted with him. If he tried to attack either of them, she would be there... Whatever he was planning would be a lot harder to execute without his partners nearby...

It seemed the fight was all but over. With the vast majority of the attacks landing, the only thing left to do was to finish the battle completely. The Black Agumon had defeated his oponent, and the WereGarurumon was lying in a smashed pile of crates. So, as the Neferitimon dropped the perpetrator beside him, he whipped out a pair of cuffs, pushing the mans arms behind his back and restraining him. "Kong. Neutralize any threats." The monkey let out an affirmitive screech, and his wings unfurled, launching him flying towards the knocked down WereGarurumon. He would proceed to stab the digimon in the chest with his lance, before sending another deam of light coursing through his body, turning it into data, and preventing it from interfering. "As you have broken the law, I shall hereby excersice my authority as Second in Command of D.A.T.S to penalize you as I see fit. I shall permanently confiscate your tools used for criminal activities. Anything you say or do can be held against you." He clicked his fingers, and the WereGarurumons data started to flow up the lance, until it had all been absorbed by Kong, preventing the WereGarurumon from ever being reborn. Once the public execution of the offending digimon was over, he wandered over to Kuro, crouching down in front of him and passing the lunchbox over. "I believe Patty wanted you to have this."
