It was a peaceful morning within Terabyte city, the type of morning where a pleasant spring breeze blown along the streets and the warm rays of sunshine shone from above. All across the city humans and digimon alike were preparing for their day, a day that seemed so hopeful that nothing could go wrong, right? At least that was what Patty the Patamon thought. She and her human partner tended to one of the bakeries in town, quite a famous establishment considering how often people were lured inside from the scent. There were even several tables for people to eat their pastries at, all alongside some fresh juice from the nearby farms that were often tended by the Palmon she knew so well.

However, on this particular day there was something just a little bit different. Hanging on a large sign outside the bakery was a message of some sorts. A message that provided the following:

Deliverymon wanted! I'm in desperate need for someone to make a super important delivery for me. Reward will be granted upon successful completion of this task. Please inquire inside the bakery for more information.

Patty the Patamon

And yet even on this particular day, and with her mind plagued with thoughts about that delivery Patty still continued to greet the guests to her establishment with the brightest smile she could muster. Nevertheless, she truly hoped that someone would arrive to carry out her task. It had been at least a few days since she posted the advertisement, and even after all this time she still thought back about the person who was meant to receive that delivery...

After the events that happened here before, Terabyte city has resumed its peaceful life. Though the missing tower was quite an obvious eyesore on the horizon, the city itself had quickly began rebuilding, turning itself into the bustling metropolis it had once been. The terrorists that had caused the damage, both the human tamers, the digimon, and the spirit wielder known as Daichi Kumo, had yet to be caught, and because of this, the city was patrolled by plenty of police. Whether in D.A.T.S uniforms, or in the uniform of the Terabyte City guard, the city had taken on a slighty stricter note. That was why Jeremiah was here. Making sure the city was secure, that the D.A.T.S prescence was there, yet not too overwhelming. It seemed that the city was fine however, and that he wasn't needed there. Even so, he decided to continue his rounds, even just so he could have a pleasant stroll. As he wandered the city, he saw a sign in front of a bakery. Deliverymon wanted! Patty the Patamon Normally, he would think himself above such a menial request, but as he saw it, right now it was his job to help the citizens of this city out as much as he could. And, since he was planning to wander around the city for a while anyway, why not help out someone while doing so. He walked into the shop, and walked over to the patamon. "Excuse me, but I heard you need something delivered? I would be more than happy to help you out."

Terabyte city, second attempt... The first time Yana came by to this city, she left wholeheartedly believing she wouldn't have any interest in coming there again. It took a good few days since the first attempt, and little by little Ari gradually convinced her to try again. It's not like she had to punish the city's tourism for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. But then, all it took was a bright, lovely day for Ari to give Yana the final push she needed: "Nothing's bad is gonna happen this time", she said, "What are the odds?!" Aside from the possibility of jynxing it - which Yana didn't really believe in - Ari made a good point. She didn't even remember the last time it had been attacked like that! And truthfully, it was a worthy trip. People and digimon looked happy as they went about their business, and the city had already been rebuilt. None looked too keen on dwelling on that dreadful memory a few days ago, nor let it stop them from living their lives. The russian girl cound appreciate that, and it was more than enough to understand she shouldn't have passed on visiting the city on account of her first impression, "Ari, what's that?", asked a curious Yana as they passed by a bakery where a few people were lingering outside. They all seemed looking intently at something, and her both girls curiosity naturally got the best of them, "Patty still hasn't gotten anybody to help him...?! That's sad...", spoke a disappointed Ari, "We should go inside and help her out." Yana agreed with a nod, figuring she could find out more about it from Patty herself. The two girls walked inside the bakery, they found a glasses man already speaking to the Patamon, and simply approached them, not interrupting the conversation but clearly interested in helping out...

Just like usually the bakery had been fairly occupied, and yet surprisingly enough the Patamon and her tamer were more than enough to handle the large crowd of people. Still, when a young man tried to draw her attention Patty the Patamon turned her attention toward him. He looked quite intelligent and serious, the type of person who would see his work through completion. Perfect! That was the type of person she needed! And to make it even better Patty's gaze drifted from the young man toward the duo standing behind him, a bright smile appearing on her lips. "Welcome! I'm so glad you decided to take on my request. In fact it's fortunate you both showed up right around the same time, please come inside, I'll tell you more about the delivery. Jessica, I'll be inside for a moment!" The Patamon shouted toward her tamer who raised a thumps-up to signal she had heard her, and soon the adorable digimon started to make her way deeper into the bakery, seemingly motioning for the two of them and their partners to follow. The inside of the room seemed quite normal, judging from all the various utilities and boxes that this might had been a room used to store recently prepared pastries. "Let's see... The reason I'm asking for someone to make this delivery is because it's meant for someone special. You see, several days ago I was saved by a Digimon, but I never had the chance to properly thank him! So I asked around, and learned he loves meat and fish! So I been working on something super special. A fish bread!" The Patamon's excitement was clearly noticeable as she scooped a box from a nearby shelf with her ear and presented it toward the group. A nice piece of bread was carefully placed in a box, and being a feline Ari might had been able to catch the scent of fish slices within the bread! "But... he never visits the bakery, so I need someone else to find my hero and deliver the lunch to him for me. However, please be careful... A LOT of hungry citizen would love to taste this new recipe, so make sure not to let them catch you! Also, I been hearing rumors about some troublemakers causing some mischief. I doubt they will bother you, but if they do please ensure my hero doesn't get in troubles!" However, amidst all her excitement she realized she had not yet properly described her hero, and soon her ears were flapping excitedly as she was making gestures with her ears and paws. "He is really handsome! I think he is an Agumon, but for some reason his skin is as dark as the night, and he has those green eyes that can stare at you with an intensity that would make any maiden swoon, so be careful Ari!" Smiling at the Gatomon she soon continued her explanation. "I'm afraid I don't know where he usually hangs around at, last time I saw him was near the outskirts of the city, you know near all those warehouses that people use to store things at. Perhaps you can look around there, or just ask around if anyone seen him. I don't think there are that many digimon like him in the city, so finding him should be a breeze! I wonder if he would look even more handsome if he had glasses like you..." He simply nodded when she mentioned how happy she was for Jeremiah to take on her request, but was slightly confused when she mentioned both of them. He had left Kong outside, so he didn't know how she knew about him, unless the little idiot had followed him inside. He turned around, a scowl on his face, ready to tell the little monkey off, when he came face to face with a dark haired girl. The scowl was quickly replaced by a look of surprise, before being covered by a cool veneer, hiding any shock that he may have been feeling. As the Patamon shouted at her tamer, it drew his attention, and he followed her as she motioned for them to. He listened to her request, not particularly caring what it was that was being delivered, only really needing the client and target information. It didn't matter what it was, because it was going to get delivered no matter what. Simple as that. He stayed silent as she mentioned the hungry digimon that might try to take the food, and the troublemakers that had been going around causing trouble. A couple of people delivering food would be a prime target for them, so Jeremiah made a mental not to make sure to be extra vigilant, so not to be accosted by these ruffians. He reached over to take the lunchbox, before turning to look at the female that was to be accompanying him on this request. "My name is Jeremiah" he stated, giving her a simple nod as greeting. "It will be a pleasure working with you." With introductions out of the way, he pulled his phone out, accessing the network and bringing up a map of the city. "I suggest we head to the outskirts first and ask around. Or, if you think splitting up would be more efficient, I am fine with that. Any other ideas, I would be happy to hear as well. Either way, I'll defer to your judgement for now."

The other man noticed her appearance the moment Patty mentioned someone else. He turned to her with a rather mean looking scowl which earned him a surprised gasp from the shy Yana, "Uhm, hi...", she waved sheepishly with a soft smile. He looked pretty mean at first, but he eased up soon enough, and the dark haired tamer followed suit, while Ari just giggled, likely having a better understanding of the situation than her tamer did. Yana and Ari followed Patty deeper into the bakery as she promptly greeted the four, quickly realizing they were there to take part in her request. Apparently, he wanted to make a delivery for someone special... Yana crossed her arms with a curious, intrigued look while she mentioned being saved by someone a few days ago and still havent had the chance to thank that person. She went on to elaborate how that person liked fish and meat, and thus Patty decided to make a fish sandwich. Her eyes glimmered as she described her savior, so much even the empathetic Yana and Ari couldn't help but smile at the sight before her. They found this savior was actually a dark skinned Agumon - A BlackAgumon no doubt - with Green eyes, who hung around the outskirts off the city. The man with the glasses took the meal and before long the two had waved goodbye to Patty and headed outside to look for the BlackAgumon "Likewise! I'm Yana...", she bowed softly as she exchanged her name with Jeremiah, with the gatomon beside her promptly introducing herself with a playful wink, "...And I'm Ari! Nice to meet you~!" With this, Jeremiah pulled out his digivice and Yana cocked her head curiously, before he explained their options. Suddenly looking a bit more serious, Yana pushed up her glasses and commented, "Sticking together might be best. According to Patty, people might try to steal the gift." And there would be safety in numbers if the worst came to pass... Splitting up wouldn't really be a good idea under those conditions.

Upon exiting the bakery it seemed that the duo was at least not assaulted by a hungry mob right away. Certainly, the crowd around the bakery was looking rather excitedly toward the duo, but it seemed they had no intention of trying to grab the lunch, well at least not yet. With how some of them were drooling a little it wouldn't be a surprise if that changed soon! Better not linger around the bakery for too long... Nevertheless, if they decided to look around there would have been no traces of the described savior, although in the distance a small group of Goblimon were marching into the opposite direction, almost as if they had gathered for some reason. A Koromon had been near them, bouncing up and down in excitement and shouting something about a 'duel between digimen', but did they really have the time to investigate every single detail? Then again, if they wanted to find the savior they would need to start looking for clues. It seemed he usually hanged around the outskirts of the city, near some warehouses but there were a lot of those in the area! If they wanted to just search the area it might had been better to move soon, with so many places to search at... However, the two tamers and their digimon would most certainly notice the fact they were being watched, the crowd having turned their eyes at them like hungry predators... ---- Warning: Crowd seems to be getting hungry! "Then stick together we shall." As they exited the building, a small green monkey walked up to the group, standing beside Jeremiah. There was quite a contrast between the two, the monkey wearing a leopard-skin loincloth, with a dopey expression on its face. Jeremiah, on the other hand, had a very sharp gaze as he looked around, and was wearing a somehow immaculately clean suit. "Oh, this is Kong. He can speak, but he normally just screeches at people. I don't know why." The little monkey nodded his head, letting out a screech as if to confirm what his Tamer had said. "It seems that these digimon can already smell the package. I didn't realize Patty had such renown as a baker around here." He looked around warily as all the digimon seemed to be watching them out of the corner of their eyes. The atmosphere seemed to darken, the digimon all watching out to see if they would be able to steal the food from them. He started asking around, not mentioning the food, just asking whether they knew of a blackagumon, but no one responded in a very helpful manner. Eventually, he saw a group of goblimon marching away, in a very uniform line. His eyes narrowed, and he walked a bit closer, hearing something about a duel between digimen. That sounded... Interesting. If this BlackAgumon was the kind of digimon Jeremiah assumed he was, this could be a perfect place to meet him. He looked around for Yana, and told her his idea. "If this is a battle between strong Digimon, we could potentially find the BlackAgumon there. However, we would be going in the opposite direction of the warehouse district. I think this battle could be a good starting point, as even if the Digimon in question isn't there, someone there may have better knowledge."

Both girls waved at the silent monkey digimon who appeared soon after, no doubt Jeremiah's partner, wincing when it screeched in a form of greeting. Why would he do that?! They doubted that would remain mystery for much longer however... Both tamers and digimon alike saw the hungry eyes some digimon gave them, but paid it no mind for now. The crowd of Ogremon in the distance didn't really escape her scrutinizing eye, and since they were looking for a savior who was probably strong in a fight, some of the would be duelists might have probably heard about him. How many Blackagumons could there be in this city anyways? Yana had never seen even one... It was indeed in the opposite direction of the warehouse... But one look at Ari was enough to reassure Yana that they could just rely on Nefertimon's fight ability to avoid whatever came over to attack and steal their lunch box. She nodded at Jeremiah, rubbing her cheek softly as she considered the options he suggested, "It wouldn't hurt to ask around and see what we can dig up. If all else fails, we can always fly out of here!", Yana explained, as Ari shook her head disapprovingly "I'm not your mode of transportation you know?", she observed, not really upset or annoyed at the idea, but simply taking the chance to play around with her tamer. The chuckle afterwards proved it. Regardless, Ari took the lead at this point since the tamers were busy holding the lunch box, and approached the Ogremon with her charming, cutely angelic smile, "Hey guys~! Have any of you seen a Blackagumon around here?"

To approach a crowd of Ogremon was quite a bold decision to do! Although the Goblimon might had been less of a threat, the fact three mature Ogremon had been talking nearby had likely made most people wary of approaching the trio... and yet Ari's lack of hesitation or nervousness made one of the Ogremon look down at her before laughing heartily. "A Blackagumon you say?" The Ogremon raised a hand to his chin, scratching it lightly as if he was thinking very intensely on the matter before he mused out loud, loud enough for Ari and the group to hear. "Must be the 'Black Knight' you're talking about! That's what they call him lately. Fiery little fella, quite a interest kiddo if you ask me." However, the Ogremon raised his club, resting it on his shoulder while he continued his explanation. "If you're looking for Kuro your best bet is to visit the underground fight club. The lad used to get himself in troubles there in the past, but ever since something happened to him and his partnah they changed. Seems they are looking for something or someone, and that's why he challenges every strong visitor to the fight club to a duel. That's why they call him the black knight, fights fiercely, but lately he hasn't killed anyone since dat incident. The other Ogremon shifted uncomfortable, one of them protesting in annoyance. "Oooy Aniki, you shouldn't be talking about that." The Ogremon that had been talking to Ari apologized with a soft laugh, yet it seemed that right at that moment something happened, a youthful voice coming from somewhere. "Out of the ways four-eyes! or are those glasses merely a mirror to appeal to your narcissistic side!" The rude remark seemed to had been accompanied by a Tsukaimon flying straight into Jeremiah's face while something pressed onto his arms, causing a moment later as the Tsukaimon pulled back to reveal a second little Tsukaimon had grabbed the box! "And what are you looking at?!" Shouting at the female a third Tsukaimon tried to obstruct Yana's face while taunting her further. "Hurry Tsuka! If she is as dumb as she is lacking in sex appeal then surely we'll get that food in no time!" Flap flap, the Tsukaimons soon attempted to flee, seemingly rapidly running past Yana as the older of the duo hummed softly. "Retreat! All forces retreat!" One of the Ogremon sighed softly, stating with a hint of amusement in his tone. "IT's the Tsukai gang again, hungry little fellas really been causing some troubles. Don't blame them with how recently they lost their home when the wall broke down, lost their tamer and everything... Jeremiah followed slightly behind the pair, deciding to let the two deal with the Ogremon. While he had no problem dealing with them, he was well aware that he could sometimes come off as quite cold, or abrasive. And this girl seemed to be the type that would get on the good side of most things. Easier, and probably more effective, to let her question the digimon. And apparently, it was a wise decision. The Ogremon started spouting all kinds of information about a BlackAgumon, potentially the one that they were looking for. It sounded like this BlackAgumon, which they had called Kuro, was someone that respected strength above all else. Should be interesting to see how this 'savior' would react to this group then. As he listened to the Ogremon talking about Kuro, he heard a voice coming closer towards him. Saying some offensive, and quite honestly, uncalled for things. He turned his head, about to scold the offender, when it flew into his face, blocking his view. He felt something else squirming around his arms, and tightened his grip on the lunch. It was to no avail, unfortunately, as the two started to fly off with the lunch in hand. As the digimon started to leave, with the lunchbox in tow, he noticed a third had been doing the same to Yana. "I'm going after the Tsukaimon. I'll try to catch up with you at the Arena once I have the lunch back." He quickly scribbled down his number, giving it to Yana. "Contact me once you are there." He didn't check to see if Yana agreed with his decision, deciding that it was the best course of action himself. With that he bolted off, chasing the fleeing Tsukaimon. As he ran, he reached into his briefcase, pulling out his composite bow and arrows. He pulled back, aiming at the two that had acted as distractions, releasing blunted arrows at the pair of them. "I think you will find that my glasses are for shooting down irritations such as yourself." Kong followed his tamer, jumping up on to Jeremiahs back, and pulling his slingshot out. Aiming carefully, he activated SNIPE SHOT, charging his attack as Jeremiah chased the trio, before loosing an attack with extremely high accuracy against the Tsukaimon holding the lunch, and if the attack hit, Jeremiah would jump forward, attempting to catch the lunchbox.

Indeed, she wasn't really scared. There's more to a digimon's fighting ability than their size and apparent strenth, Ari knew that if she digivolved, even three Ogremon at once whouldn't do much to hold her down. Indeed Nefertimon was stronger in group battles, but she was still fast and ultimate level. Besides, she wasn't here to fight: What kind of big burly men would attack a small, seemingly defenseless girl? Indeed, they didn't attack her and actually told her what she wanted to know, earning them a lovely, appreciating smile from the Gatomon, "I see! Thank you for your help~", Ari thanked the trio graciously, turning just in time to see ever annoying Tsukaimon swoop in and steal the "Kyaah-!!", yelped a startled Yana, for once display her considerable strength with a swift, reflexive slap of the attacking Tsukaimon in front of her face. These were the same reflexes she had been trained to use to break arms of men who tried grabbing her, even if the Digimon was much smaller, it would likely still be hurt... No way her regular self would have been able to attack like this if she hadn't been astonished, but even if she swatted the third Tsukaimon away, the insults still got to her, making her look rather depressed when the trio left. She never fancied herself beautiful, but ugly...? She just uttered with a somber, cocking her head down sadly, "I'm... Ugly..." Fortunately she was too positive to be brought down so long, and a simple cry from Ari was all it took to stand her back to attention, "Don't listen to them Nana-chan! That is how they fight!!", she called out, making Yana suddenly perk her head back up and look to the man with glasses as he handed her his number and prepared to head after the annoying fliers. "OK! I'll wait for you there!", she nodded as the more resolute Jeremiah went after the tsukaimon. With this the two went their separate ways, with Yana immediately heading towards the warehouse and looking around for a Black Agumon... Soon it might be time to call Jeremiah, if she found their client that is...

It seemed the three Tsukaimon had clearly not expected a proper retaliation from Jeremiah, certainly not the type that involved drawing a bow from his suitcase! Perhaps it was their unpreparedness that had led to the two blunt arrows to knock them out of the sky, crashing straight into the wall of a nearby building where their rubbed their nose with their ears. "Sniper glasses" "Without a doubt those glasses are a cheat device" The two Tsukaimon whined in annoyance as they quickly tried to get up. The third Tsukaimon unfortunately was a bit less fortunate, the sling shot landing a clean blow on its rear, sending it toppling onto the ground while the lunch started to ascend into the sky, before making that dreadful descend downwards, that luckily was prevented from being finished thanks to Jeremiah's quick catch. "Four eyed demon" "Monkey Sniper" "If it wasn't for them we would have finally gotten food..." The third Tsukaimon seemed to be on the verge of crying while his elder siblings placed one of their ears on each shoulder, as if to comfort him. Would Jeremiah take the time dealing with them? Or would he join up with his partner? For Yana and Ari their endeavor was seemingly a bit less exciting. While they reached the warehouse with little to no trouble their target didn't seem to be anywhere, but what the two of them did stumble upon were muffled noises from one of the closed doors of one of the warehouses! Perhaps worth an investigation? And because of that, I have the right to restrain you, or punish you as I see fit. So stay there for a second, and I'll be lenient on you." With that done, he stood up and walked over to one of the food stalls dotting the street. He paid for three meals, and walked back over, dropping them in front of the trio. "Stealing is bad. So don't do it any more, and I wont take this any further." He was about to walk off, when he had an idea. "You three seem like you would know a lot about this area? Would you be able to find someone for me? There will be some more food in it if you can." He proceeded to give them a description of Kuro, hoping they would know of him, or be able to help find him. Just in case he wasn't actually in the Underground Fight Club. "He may be in the warehouse district. But I'm going to be heading to the fight club. If you find anything, you can find me there." He stood up and turned around without waiting for their response and dusted himself off. "Kong, with me." The little green monkey screeched, and followed Jeremiah as he walked towards the underground fight club, lunchbox in hand.

There was really nothing to do here until Jeremiah came over... No target, no arena, no nothing... Yana walked around the complex a few times with a bored, idle look on her face. There wasn't even anything remotely fascinating to see here! As her co-worker took care of beating the Tsukaimon and swaying them from their criminal ways, Yana realized there might actually be something worth investigating here: Ari froze in her tracks, ears twitching as her keen hunting eyes looked around. "Hmm... Turns out Black Agumon might actually be here.", she smirked as she approached the warehouse, and as her own footsteps grew silent, Yana started hearing it too. No matter how she looked at it, that sounded like cheering voices. If one was expecting an arena to be around these parts, well... Odds were this was probably it! Wasting no time, she picked up her Digivice and messaged Jeremiah, "Heading inside the warehouse. Gonna look for Black Agumon in the arena.". That said, she had no idea whether such an arena was legal around these parts. Ordinarily she might have thought it was, but in that case why was it hidden like this? If it wasn't legal, then it might not be easy to get inside... Regardless, Yana redoubled her efforts to look around the warehouse, not for a BlackAgumon, but a way inside: "There's gotta be an entrance...", she thought out loud, trying to swing open the only door she could find.
