Anko giggled when Adam rubbed her back and then released her. She followed his gaze to the small tv, looking a bit confused.
Wait, that was supposed to bring them back? A little tv?
She watched Adam curiously as he told her she needed to step in front of this old tv and aim her digivice at it. It got her a little nervous as well.
"O-oh. okay." She said, taking her digivice out of her pouch. Anko looked at it, and then at Keigo. Did Keigo even want to go home at this moment? Would she want to stay home with her mom again?
Keigo grinned when he got her to blush, but then quickly retreated as Koichi tried to bite him. "Hey! I washn't going to hurt her!" He exclaimed, looking a little offended that he was not allowed to touch his girlfriend.
The Veemon then nodded when Renae told him they had a promise. At least the twins had a pretty strong feeling for promises. He giggled nervously as Renae kissed him on his cheek.
Then Renae walked over to Anko, whispering that she needed to take things slow for Adam.
"I.. okay." She replied with a firm nod. Though she could not promise anything when she saw her mom.
Anko raised her arm to hold the digivice straight at the tv. The young tamer closed her eyes, imagining her own house, her own couch. Her mother cooking riceballs in the kitchen and her father reading the newspaper beside her, muttering something about his payment being late. That was the exact state her house was in when she had disappeared to the Digital World. For her, it had only been a few days. But for her parents, merely a minute. or maybe ten.
Her voice filled with confidence, and her digivice began to glow.
"Digiport, open!" She chanted, and then the team was surrounded in a bright light.
When Anko opened her eyes, she was back in the living room. Confused, her eyes darted around. She looked down at her lap to see Keigo in his DemiVeemon form, eyes rolling around like he was dizzy.
Anko got off from the couch, looking at Adam with a stunned expression. It had actually worked!
The little girl did not hesitate for a moment, storming to the kitchen.
"Mama!" She exclaimed, dragging Keigo along with her. Her mom turned around, looking a little surprised to see her youngest daughter tackle-hug her like that.
"Anko..? Hey, sweetie what's wrong?" Her mother said, carefully going through her daughters hair.
Anko then realized that, it had been merely a minute that Anko left. The little girl uttered a sob, just hiding her face into her mother's long gown.
"I just.. love you." Anko whispered, and there was a smile written on Keigo's face.
Though, then she reminded herself that Adam was inside the house now, too.
"Oh- umm mom. There's a friend here for (sister name [OOC: It's not revealed yet]), is it okay if I play with him?" She asked, hoping to cover for the sudden intrusion.
"Well, as long as he plays nice." Her mom said, with a smile in her voice. Anko's father smiled down at her. "Isn't your sister working late today?"
Anko nodded, knowing that her sister was probably still in the digital world. 'working'.
"Yeah, it's probably going to be pretty late."Anko then returned to the living room, her eyes watering as she walked away from her parents. She brought Keigo to her chest to hug him firmly. The DemiVeemon struggled to breathe.
In the back, she heard her father talk to her mom again. "Did you buy her another stuffed animal?" "No, honey. I have no idea where she gets those from."
