In the dim light he looked at her, he was pissed off at her. There was a rocking motion along with the smell of salt air and rust. The light hung by a wire kept swinging back and forth between the two of them illuminating their faces. It was easy to see that he was pissed off as the light illuminated his face with a black eye and a busted lip. There were marks around his neck all around his chokers. His hands changed up to a pole in what was a shipping container. His glasses broken. He would stay there just eyeing her wondering what he should say, how he should vent at her for getting him into this situation. He knew he had made a mistake in trying to come back to New York to speak with her. The last time they parted ways it wasn't a good ending and now, now that he was trying to make more connections that he could use for his own goals and one of them was going to be her, that was till the two of them were jumped, before he could even act he felt a fist hit him across the face and then a bag tossed around his face and ropes used to tighten it so he would pass out. He saw that she was tied up as well when the light swung to her. From the smell of it and the way this thing was moving he assumed that they were on a boat. Normally this wouldn't be an issue, but his digivice was taken from him when he was taken with her. However he would get that back in time. No the more pressing matter would be getting out of this hold and fucking over those that did this to him. He didn't care about what she did, he wanted revenge. Katelyn Coralie

Hey, do you do Judo When they surround you? The small, congested room reeked of blood and rust; Both sickening scents. It almost reminded her of dead animal. The salt of the sea made the air even more bitter; It was something she wasn't quite able to adjust to - it all caused her breathing to become quite labored. Katelyn didn't look at him; She could feel his golden eyes, behind his broken glasses, burning holes into her very core. He was pissed, no doubt. She distracted herself from this by staring at the swinging light above. Katelyn was paying him no mind. How did they get into this situation? She was sure it was her fault, but she couldn't remember what this gangs beef with her was.
Suddenly, the door swung open - it was nice, compared to this room. It was likely they were only being kept in the shitty room as part of their 'punishment'. A large man made his way into the room, largely unarmed aside from what looked like a branding iron and a bowie knife at his belt. No gun. Katelyn was racking her mind, trying to figure who this man was. She was sure she had seen him before. He mosied on over to them, taking his sweet time; He eyed Edward, but simply bypassed him.
The man was roughly 6 feet tall, well cut but not largely muscular, and a shaved head. He wore an untucked, casual-fit dress shirt with somewhat worn jeans. His grey eyes held a tinge of green, and they focused on Katelyn intensely. He twirled the brand in his hand, unlit. He did not speak.
"Why are we here?" She asked him, keeping her eyes on the light. Katelyn didn't make eye contact, but she kept her tone steady.
He grabbed her face roughly with his free hand, still twirling the brand in the other, and forced her to look him in the eye. "Why?" He mimicked, scoffing. "That's almost insulting. Come on. I know you're smarter than that. You've evaded us for this long - doesn't take a simple-minded whore to do that." He released her face and gave it a couple of gentle, yet patronizing, slaps on the cheek. "You've been bad, Kitty Kat. Not only have some of your friends killed our men, but we entrusted you with some pretty expensive merchandise. I have a very difficult time believing that that much coke just..." The man did a dramatic hand gesture. "Disappeared. You follow me?"
Noooooow she remembered him. "Look, Michael. That was two years ago. How am I supposed to remember who took what? I've told you that someone stole it - you know I've never been in the party scene. I've been out of that scene, too." Katelyn was trying to keep her voice level, but her eyes couldn't help but flick to the brand. "I have bills. I have college. I can't help what happened - I don't have the money to pay you back." She looked back up to meet his eyes, which came in and out of focus as the light swayed. "I can't help what happened to your men."

The door creaked open letting bits of light in along with some fresh air. While he was still ticked off at Katelyn he wasn't going to let her rot here like this, no he had plans for her and he knew that saving her from this situation would help sway her opinion and help further his own goals. Still Edward eyed the man that stepped into the room, tall, somewhat muscular, armed with a knife and a branding iron. He had an idea as to what was about to happen, but he would sit there and listen as the man talked to Katelyn and she spoke back.
Knowledge was power and right now he was learning why he was in this situation. It seemed as if the man didn't care too much for Edward which was good for him. While his arms were tied up, there still was a way to get out of it, but it wouldn't be pleasant for him, he would have to dislocate his shoulder to allow it to slack enough to get his other hand out. With one arm free he could escape and take this man out, but that was his last resort, for now he would continue to try and figure another way out.
The man laughed at what Katelyn said about being out of the game. “You don't get it do you? You're only out when we let you out.” He moved closer to Katelyn placing the knife at her throat letting the blade slide up the side of her neck without cutting her. “Oh don't worry, I'm not going to kill you, no see you owe me money and my men deserve payback. So we're going to have you turning tricks for me and for my men till you pay back every cent you owe me.” The man pulled back before licking his lips and pulling out a needle filled with heroin. “And to make sure you don't run away I'm going to get you hooked on this stuff so you need us. I'll make your life a living hell and only after you've given up then I'll kill you.”
Edward had heard enough, and wasn't about to watch his potential asset be reduced to nothing but a drugged out street walker. “Hey limp cock, really tough picking on a tied up girl. You're almost as scary as trick or treaters.” The man turned around and looked at Edward a bit annoyed at what he had said. “The fuck did you say to me boy?” Without missing a beat Edward responded “I said I've seen scarier teddy bears than you. You lick cock fucker.” That pissed off the man, exactly what Edward wanted, the man took long and heavy steps towards the chained up Edward, however Edward wouldn't be chained for long. He dislocated his shoulder and freed his hand, keeping it behind his back as the man raised up his knife to stab at Edward.
Without even knowing it, Edward kicked the man in his shin hard from sitting down, followed up by him grabbing the arm that the knife was in to keep him from using it. In their struggle the branding iron fell off and landed near Katelyn. Edward brought up his knee to hit the man in the groin, getting the advantage he needed to turn the knife onto the man and stab him in his shoulder before slamming his head into the side of the container knocking the man out.
With his shoulder disloacted he looked down at Kaytlen and spoke “want me to save you or should I just leave you here trapped with him?” He pointed at the knocked out man on the ground, “he's not going to be too happy when he wakes up you know.”

Hey, do you do Judo When they surround you? Katelyn kept her cool as this man preached his intentions. Even as Edward challenged him - keeping silent was her best option for now. However, much to her surprise, Ed retaliated quite quickly - taking the huge man down. Their brawl almost seemed one sided, over in an instant; Although, it was at the expense of his shoulder.
She took him up on his offer, inching with what little leeway she could to expose her bindings. Where he would cut her free, she flexed her hands and rolled her shoulders, enjoying her new found freedom. "You don't think that could have been executed more..Elegantly?" Kat asked, getting to her feet - staggering a bit as she did so. Her legs felt like gelatin, knees weak and wobbly. This made her wonder how long they had truly been out. "With him, there is sure to be much more. He has many people." Kat noted, nudging his head with her foot. "I'd say we should throw him in the ocean, but that would cause a full blown war. Not sure I want to get myself in the mix of that."
Looking to him, she eyed his shoulder - his arm dangling limply from its suspension; She figured she should probably help him out for his valiant sacrifice. Even if it was mostly for himself. Kat reached out, placing one hand on his shoulder and the other on his forearm. Steadying him, she quickly said, "3,2,1." in what was definitely not 3 seconds or enough time for him to prepare; Nonetheless, she snapped his shoulder back into its socket firmly. She was somewhat used to aiding those who would get themselves roughed up. "Better? Now, we should probably formulate a plan. The 'bad guys' will be after us soon enough. They're a bunch of rapists, thieves, murderers, and drug addicts. I'm sure they've been itching to have their 'way' with both of us."

He knew that she would take him up on his offer, she would be crazy not to given the type of people they were dealing with here. After going to the knocked out man's body to dig out the knife he cut her bindings hearing her rather charming thank you for helping her out of that bind. “Well excuse me princess, but I don't exactly have the use of both of my arms, nor my sight right now.” With his glasses busted he wasn't able to see very clearly, so he had to assume what he was cutting was the actual rope.
He pondered on the idea of killing the man that held them captive, it would solve issues that could arise later on, but right now with a wound that large in his shoulder he wouldn't be running around fine, if he didn't bleed out. He wasn't paying attention so when she grabbed his dislocated shoulder and popped it back into place he let out a rather loud grunt of pain. The noise echoed in the container, they were lucky that no one rushed into the container from that, but right now there was a big unknown, how many people were on this ship and how far out was it from the shore?
After hearing her summery of the situation he spoke. “I think most of them would rather have their way with you Kat, though most men would. Right now we have a big disadvantage, we are out gunned, out numbered and trapped. Further more we are fighting on their turf along with the big unknown element of where we are exactly, where we are going or most importantly how many of them there are. Right now the plan is to survive.” He let out a heavy sigh before stepping to the side of the door and peaking out of it to see that they were on a cargo ship, all around there were other shipping containers and a few people walking around caring guns. Even with his sight impaired he was still able to make out that they were people with weapons.
“Alright, lets go.” He waved to her to follow him as he ran out of the storage container and to the side of another one. “We need a gun....” He was trying to focus in on one of the men carrying a gun that was alone. He could go after him with the knife, but he had another plan. “Distract him by any means necessary and I'll kill him so we can take his gun.” He looked back at her, he hoped that she would take this seriously and do what he said. The better the distraction the easier it would be for him to kill the man without being seen.

Hey, do you do Judo When they surround you? Katelyn nodded to him, mulling over potential courses of action in her mind. After checking if there was anyone in eye or earshot, aside from this guard, she decided to throw herself headlong into the situation. Hopefully, she wouldn't get shot if she didn't surprise him too much. She attempted to make her presence known, before charging at the man half heartedly. Kat was caught with ease, punched hard in the gut and slammed against a shipping container. Her arms were pinned behind her back in restraint; The scent of rust on the iron and the mans breath invading her senses, causing her to scowl.
He leaned in, laughing in her face. "What the fuck kind of escape attempt was that? And to leave your friend behind? You really are just a heartless little stripper." The man noted, feeling up her body. He had an assault rifle slung at his hip, and a pistol at his other side. He slid a knife almost identical to Michael's from his heavily armed waist, sliding it over her neck. A bit of blood was drawn. "You're lucky I was told not to kill the merchandise, but I was never told I can't fuck with it a little."

He had t o chuckle at her way of getting the man's attention, he assumed she would use more of a seductive manor to lure the guard, but this worked just fine as the guard now had his back turned to him. This made the next part easy, while the man was over Kat he ran right at him, his knife drawn and aimed to stab him right in the heart from behind. His hand went to cover the man's mouth as the blade pierced his flesh and his heart.
The action of being stabbed in the back caused his grip on Kat to be loosened so she could move or grab the gun from the man. Edward would hold onto the man as long as he could till he felt the man was no longer living and slumped down to the ground. Taking the other knife the man had he looked over at Kat for the first time since his plan went into motion and spoke. “You alright? He didn't hurt you too much did he?” He wanted to make sure she was still ok and able to move, though he had heard something interesting she was a stripper, if he wasn't taken he definitely could have had a bit of fun with that.
“Take his guns, I can't see for shit, so you'll be a better shot than me.” He would wait for her to take the gun before pushing the man's corpse off of the side of the boat. “No body, no trace.” There was a bit of blood on the floor from the stabbing, but the mixture of rust and salt water made it hard to tell on these floors what was what. Now they had a better chance of getting out of this alive, but he wanted something else, he wanted to know where they had taken his stuff. With that in mind he eyed the captain's room. Slowly walking towards it while keeping to the sides of the shipping containers not wanting to be seen.
