"keeping a watchful eye" (Adam and Karisa)

The North, Adam hated being in the north! It was cold, windy and over all miserable. The young wild boy wouldn't dare set foot or paw in the cold tundra of their own free will and for leisure but thanks to their new position as the Element of Earth for the watch they had a duty that they had to stick too. They had to keep a watchful eye on all of the different regions to make sure that One of the groups of darkness like the seven weren't making any moves and that meant the frigid north.

Since he was on an official mission for the Watch,Adam decided to dress in his nicest clothes which were the fancy looking green and grey robes that he had bought in order to look more official and instead of wearing his trade mark green trench coat he wore a thick brown hooded coat with internal pockets. Since they were in the snow covered north Adam made sure to purchase some insolated snow boots to wear on his feet and even though he his two twins had fur being Renamon he bought them matching brown hooded cloaks. The trio had been traveling for about five hours via the air using their golden forms of Rapidmon and Magnamon but as they landed at the cities outer wall the two digimon landed and went back to rookie and followed their tamer inside after all three put up their hoods. As they entered, Remy made sure to stay on his tamers right side and Renae on his left.

"What exactly are we looking for Adam?"

As Remy's skeptical words rang through the air Adam rolled his eyes and sighed.

"Any signs of trouble. The Seven have attacked most of the major cities where the Olympians hold court and even have managed to take one of them. It's our job here today to make sure that doesn't happen. Keep your eyes open and your senses steady."

As the trio quietly  and swiftly moved through the crowds of the snow covered city Renae couldn't help but giggle.

"I've never seen you take work so serious before. What gives sweetie?"

Adam dodged a few fridgymon as he raised an eyebrow at his digimon's question, not really looking where he was going.

"We weren't around when Triton was taken. I'm not dropping the ball this time."

None of them no longer paying attention to where they were stepping, Adam felt his body gently collide with another being causing him to stumble a bit and his hood to fall down and his digivice to show from under his robes around his neck.

"I'm so sorry! We weren't paying attention where we were going."

Yawning softly sitting on the warm arm chair positioning in front of the fire she would lean back. ''What am I going to do?'' she questioned out loud. She was wearing some jean shorts with some simple cuts, a sleeveless white tank-top and a jacket. Some people would call her crazy due to it being cold here, but honestly she couldn't feel the cold as in the pain of it. The most cold she could feel was the simple feel of the cool waters. ''Mmmm, let's go enjoy the winters.'' her Naku spoke making her have a sweet smile. ''Alright...'' she would mumble getting up from the chair.

Slowly getting up she would turn around and stretch. Quickly the huge knight would pick her up and carry her out the door. ''N-naku please.'' she flailed a little as he then let her go. She knew that the knight form didn't talk as much as his other forms and lately they haven't been talking at all. Opening the knob she would walk out of the resting house and walk into the snow with her boots with two dangling fuzzy white spheres on each of the two laces per. She let her arms dangle on the side as she walked forward step by step in a playful way. Her white long hair with simple ways would sway left and right upon each step as her unusual red and blue eye would look around.

'What to do what to do...' she thought. 'Maybe find some sucker and use him.' one spoke. 'How mean, how about make some more friends.~' the peaceful sounding one spoke. Sighing softly she would wonder on which to do as she would then out of nowhere she looked over and didn't see Naku. ''Na-..'' she was about to say when she heard.

"I'm so sorry! We weren't paying attention where we were going."

Her eyes opened wide as she saw him standing there silently. ''N-now Naku...I'm sure the nice fellow didn't mean to.~'' she spoke in a happily tune. There was silence and it just looked down towards him. 'Well...he hasn't turned red so I'm sure there will be no trouble.' she thought as she then saw him walk to her and stopped to turn and look at him once more. Smiling and blushing she would scratch the back of her head innocently and blush. ''S-sorry about that. It's alright now though.'' she spoke and stood up straight looking up at him and then back at the random guy in front of her.

Adam blushed apologeticly at the woman standing in front of him along with the knight looking digimon in front of her that seemed to be her partner. As she calmed down her digimon and said that everything would be alright now Adam just bowed politely causing his digimon to do so in return. Once the trio stood up straight Adam noticed the outfit that the woman was wearing and how little it covered. He just blushed and smiled.

"My name is Adam and these are my twin digimon Remy and Renae. The black one is Renae and the yellow one is Remy. Forgive my asking miss but aren't you cold? If you would like you can borrow my coat. Please allow us to make up for bumping into you by buying you some lunch."

Renae then stepped up with a gentle smile and a wave of her tail. She then bowed to the girl once more before clearing her throat gently.

"Miss, if it is alright with you we would like to ask you a few questions about the area. We are here for work but alas we live mostly in the east and south and do not know the area here as well as we should. We were the only ones available for the job however. It would be most helpful."

As his tamer and his sister spoke, Remy just eyed the digimon known as Naku as if he saw him as a threat, sizing him up silently. It only took a moment before the male digimon moved in close to his tamer as a sort of shield just in case the knight digimon felt like attacking. The trio had decided to try and approach their missions a bit more diplomatically and only use their power if they absolutely had too. As Remy stood close to his tamer he shot a small gaze toward the rather beautiful woman in front of him.

"If you know any nice places to eat it will be our treat. We are well known in the south and east territories. Money is no problem so be as fancy as you want."

Adam blushed as Remy bragged about their small amount of fame. It was true that they had gotten a sort of name for themselves but they were supposed to be acting low key and trying to avoid attention but the truth was Renae was right. They didn't know the area and they need a bit of civilian help or their mission would fail.

"We would really appriciate your help."

Looking at the stranger she would keep her smile as her eyes shined with delight when they seemed very kind. 'Good...so no worries on these guys.' she thought. Her eyes looked over at Naku and felt rather happy that he was calmed and did not repeat what happened with Faust. He introduced himself as Adam and he was a twin digimon tamer. They were both Renamons although the difference was that one was dark and the other one was normal upon the renamons. she would nod to his introduction and then did nothing when he asked if she was cold. ''N-no...I don't feel the pain of the cold. Pain at all for that matter besides my heart.'' she spoke softly and soothingly as small puffs of cold escaped her lips upon each word.

Next they would offer her lunch which would include Naku. Her eyes of shining jewels would look at both of his digimon and then her own. She knew some places and someone else paying would be nice for once. She nodded to this and then listened to one of the digimon.

"Miss, if it is alright with you we would like to ask you a few questions about the area. We are here for work but alas we live mostly in the east and south and do not know the area here as well as we should. We were the only ones available for the job however. It would be most helpful."

''U-urmm...alright.'' she confusingly just simply replies and then looks at the tamer and then back at the other one.

"If you know any nice places to eat it will be our treat. We are well known in the south and east territories. Money is no problem so be as fancy as you want."

She stood there listening to them as they speak about being known well in such areas. Honestly she has never heard about any of his digimon nor him and she has traveled everywhere. A small sweat drop appeared upon her right side of her head as she smiled. 'Who are these guys?' she thought to herself. Her eyes opened normally as she would make a sweet smile. ''Sure. We can go to the cafe.~'' she spoke in a happy tune. Turning around to go back into town she would have Naku walk beside her. Her eyes looked left and right and then after some minutes she would stop. ''H-here we are.~'' she speaks once more as Naku walked in first, herself second and then the guy and his digimon afterwards. She was welcomed by cheering ladies wearing different outfits. ''H-hai.~ We're here for food.'' she speaks sweetly and puts up a hand to wave simple and then lets her arms dangle once more. One nodded in which she had some bear ears making it weird since Naku's usual form was a bear. ''Here's your seat.'' she spoke and giggled as she looked at Karisa and then at the guy with her. 'Oh god...' she thought. Sometimes she did come here and she even had her own outfit as she worked here sometimes secretly. There were some other cafes she worked at as well, but for now she would be here having some food and stuff.

Remy and Renae couldn't help but smile a bit as the woman agreed to help them out. As the trio followed her and her knight looking digimon toward the restaurant they enjoyed. As they walked however the two digimon had a realization. They had yet to get the female tamers name which meant that they could have been walking into a trap. Their tamer had been so eager to get his mission underway that he had forgotten to ask the woman her name. As the group walked into the diner and were greeted by cheering girls in uniforms the two digimon noticed that their tamer was blushing a bit. As they sat Remy nudged Adam's arm and motioned toward the woman causing his eyes to go wide as the waitress greeted them.

"Oh that's right! I never asked your name mam'e. We heard your digimon's name is Naku but we never got yours."

As the rather attractive dressed up waitress waited for the groups order Renae just quietly scratched her chin. They had eaten meals meals in three of the five major cities and had to be honest their favorite places to eat were in the east but they were always open to trying new things. Renae just smiled at the enthusiastic waitress.

"Hello miss, I would like to order the house special for my brother and my young tamer. We are not from this area so this rather festive restraunt is all new to us. May I say though you are rather delightful little lady. We would like three cokes with our meals please."

Renae smiled gently at the young waitress and then turned her attention back toward the young tamer sitting across from them and her digimon. She then looked toward her brother and motioned for him to start with their small line of questions. Remy cleared his throat with a small smile.

"You have probably heard about how the desert city of Triton has fallen to the evil being known as Crow a member of the evil Seven. We are part of a group of people who are dedicated to keeping a watchful eye over the world in order to make sure that another city doesn't fall to those tyrants. The reason we were asked to come here today is because the seven seem to be trying to pick off the 11 remaining Olympians and take over their domains starting with the major cities. Our question for you is during your stay here have you noticed anything abnormal like digimon's personalities changing, uneasiness within the citizens, talks of uprising of some kind, things like that?"

Adam listened silently as his male digimon did a rather good job asking the questions. Even though Adam wouldn't admit it, Adam was rather nervous because this was his first big official mission.

Smiling sweetly and nervously she would blush from all the outfits that were being worn. There were girls wearing cat outfits, mouse maid outfits, bears and more as it was only the ears and tails...sometimes paws. She had a cat one which she honestly was really embarrassed about wearing at first. Karisa would be too shy to wear it right now as she didn't know this guy. Sadly she is the type to be shy no matter what to where it even hurts. Giggling she heard him ask for her name in which she never did give. ''M-my name?'' she blinked innocently as she made a sweet every-lasting smiling. ''My name is Karisa.~ Sorry, totally forgot.'' she speaks blushing and then looking over as the maid was leaned over close to her. Her eyes could see the perfect shaping of the animal-maid dressing woman's breasts. Her face blushed more and looked away biting her lower lip.

''What can I get you sweety?~'' the maid teased. ''Just...a BLT, french fries, smoothie and a salad.'' she spoke shyly and waited till the girl went away. The maid would giggle, ''Alrighty! Be right back.~'' she teased once more and then went to go get the orders. After they were away once more she would then pay attention to the one that was called Remy.

After listening to his explanation and his questions she would nod. ''N-no...Not as far as I know. I don't know any of these Olympians either. Sorry that I'm no help.'' she spoke softly and made a worrisome smile as she hated to be trouble. It went silent after the question(s) the digimon asked and then looked at Adam with her bright glistening blue and red eyes. ''Have you found any favorite places so far?'' she questioned to bring a conversation. She didn't like silence so she had to do something and not be too shy...

The trio watched as the woman who named herself as Karisa ordered her food while watching the waitresses. The small look of enjoyment on Adam's face watching the waitresses turned to confusion as he watched the waitress walk away. Noticing that her tamer was staring with a confused look on his face, Renae elbowed him once more causing him to blink and then look at her. She then pointed at Karisa as a silent way to say pay attention. He just blinked and nodded.

"Right sorry, I'm paying attention I'm just really confused about something. How come these girls are dressed as animals? They aren't digimon."

Renae looked at her tamer and patted his head softly with a roll of her eyes and a small sigh. He was a mighty warrior and was beginning to become a symbol and yet when it came to the nature of other humans he was still rather naive. The young lad had spent his entire life around digimon and not humans and so even though he was extremely knowledgeable about the different digimon cultures and their legends, he knew very little about every day human customs.

"They dress that way in order to attract customers especially males. They use their..figures to attract customers. Think of it like the legend of the sirens who use their voices to attract men but instead of killing their customers they feed them."

Hearing it explained in a way that he could understand using the legends that he had been told and he himself studied. The young wild boy nodded and then turned his attention back to Karisa to hear that she had never heard of the Olympus 11. This made Adam's jaw dropped a bit.

"You haven't heard of the rulers,kings and queens of the digital world? One of the Olympians runs this city! His Palace is at the edge of the city! There used to be 12 of them but recently a being named Crow killed the Ruler of Triton city Neptunemon. The beings called the Seven are trying to kill the gods and take over. As for our favorite places, we have homes in the Nanosphere forest and the Emerald Mangrove."

Renae nodded and giggled a bit.

"I love the shops in Terebyte city."

"My favorite is the exalakes."
