I AM NOT A BAD MAN even though i do bad things Emerald Mangrove, the emerald jewel of the south, well actually he was hanging out in the forest just out side of the city.  it was big dense and most importantly, a good spot for agility training. The canopies of the trees made for decent obstacles, hoping from one to another made for a test of balance, coordination and could even boost one’s reflexes if they so desired. For the white hair, he was here to test his agility, to perhaps increase his reflexes in his human form, with the right amount of training he wouldn’t need to transform to face rookie or even champion Digimon. His heart was pumping, his chest was tightening, his eyes were focused, and sweat trickled down his brow. The white hair hopped from tree top to tree top, placing one foot on a branch with every hop. Leyton had read a manga with this exact thing in it, Na-or-to? Something like that, all he could remember was a whiny blonde kid playing ninjas with other whiny kids. Leyton’s training was going surprisingly well, he had been doing this for around five minutes, his attire his usual exercise wear: black shorts, gloves, and sneakers, comfy and fun. The Mangrove was usually ridden with bug Digimon, though today there was a surprising lack of them, not even a single Kunemon. The monkey man jumped onto another branch, though almost on cue the branch broke, sending him barreling onto the ground. He fell to the ground below, panic set in and he forgot to tuck his head. With a loud thud, he hit the forest floor, head bouncing off of the ground. Everything went black for a moment, as he fell unconscious.

From hot to humid, Obasi found himself in the most unpleasant weather conditions. It was almost as if the digital world hated him and his angelic companion, and planned to annoy them to death. Legion, his little Lucemon partner tried to his best by directing the trainer to more pleasing climates, but such was not the case. Whenever they went to one location it would be too hit, or too cold. Nevertheless, their almost unending quests to somewhere lead them to the Mangrove. Usually a haven for bug digimon such as kunemon, today it was suspiciously free of them. Not even a single Fanbeemon buzzed about, which was odd considering they’d usually be milling about doing “bug shit”.

“Most perplexing indeed.” Legion said, simply floated a few steps ahead of his tamer. “Most per…ahhh! A dead human!” Legion screamed before he collided into a startled Obasi. “Oww” Replied Obasi more in an annoyance than actual pain. Even if he did see a dead human so what? Legion was a ruthless little angel, so why did human death matter.”Did you really see a dead human? And when did you start becoming squeamish about death?” Hand gripped around the bruise on his forehead, Obasi questioned his digimon. “I am not. I was just surprised is all and he’s right there.” With childish indignation, Legion protested his tamer’s accusation ending in a point at the “alleged corpse.”

“Are you sure he’s dead?” Left eyebrow raised ever slightly at the white haired “corpse” before them. “Good point.” Blurted out the angelmon before picking up a stick and poking him with it. "Mr.Human are you dead? Do you need food?"

Leyton let out a ghastly moan as his bruised form arose after being poked. “What? Where?” he looked around for those who disturbed his sudden slumber. “A tamer and Digimon? Out here? What are the odds.” he shot up and stretched his arms and legs.

“Thanks for waking me up boys. Who knows what would have found me out here.” he tapped his chin, this fella had a holy diigmon, first Leyton had ever seen. “Neat you’re not a dark tamer,” he clapped his hands for the stranger “Yeeeeeeep, you must be quite a tamer maybe even one of the best.”

“Ahhh!!” A gasp escaped Legion’s lips, and Obasi fell to the ground again. Once again his digimon had fallen into him sending the dark-skinned boy earthward. He seemed to be spending more time in the ground than the guy they’d just waken up. Not that he could blame Legion, there was something strangely ominous about the white-haired spirit wielder. When Obasi was only a few days new he would’ve guessed this feeling of disquiet to be the man’s lack of a digimon. Since then he’d learned about the existence of spirit wielders, and guessed him to be one of them. Perhaps the entity within him inspired this subtle dread, whatever it was that wasn’t going to stop the chocolate-skinned youth from being civil.


“Well, I am dark and a tamer, but I doubt you mean in that sense.” Hands still pressed against the bump on his head, and a joking smirk on his face. “But I suppose you are right. I am the only tamer I’ve seen that has a divine digimon.” He knew of Legion’s angelic lineage, but truth be told the little Lucemon was more of a virus than a vaccine. The Gazimon they’d ruthlessly attacked was evidence of this. ”So uhh..what’s your name anyway?”

"Ahhhh I see what you did there." he laughed wagging a finger at the boy, "Dark and a tamer, Because uh, you're black. Wooo." this kid was pretty funny, I mean would it make leyton racist to laugh? Err, this was rough really rough, what was it President Trmp used to say abotu these things? 'Don't be scared'

Leyton chuckled a bit more, "Dark." he cackled holding his stomach, "Okay, okay enough." he tapped his foot a few times, he couldn't let this guy get to him, this was probably a mind game or something, this guy must have been quite powerful.

“Sorry. My jokes tend to be a bit on the er…uhh adult side.” A nervous grin attached to his face, more out of fear of making a more obvious, but awkward joke. He had to admit the snowy-haired adult was pretty interesting. Other grownups would normally think poorly of his humor, or they’d laugh in that way “this is fucking hilarious, but your ass is dead way”. It even put him at ease around the powdery-haired Hercules. He only hoped the guy didn’t decide to turn into a digimon and eat them.

“Oh sorry, I am kind of a dumbass. This guy here is my partner Legion, and I am Obasi. He should be digivolving any day now, but it hasn’t happened yet.” The Lucemon unlike his tamer was far less willing to divulge such personal information so freely. It wasn’t until a few minutes later that Obasi inwardly cursed at himself. Shit they’d given away their only fucking leverage and they probably were going to die.

"Anyday? How owuld you like to speed up the process?" that's right, Leyton was going help this kid because why not. "We'll meditate and stuff and before you know it you'll be a mega." the white hair laughed, he was smart with these sorts fo things, after all he was the one who got tate to digivolve, quickly at that. Yep Leyton was a Digimon whisperer, a real man among mons. A great guy, a good man, a dude among boys.

Leyton could probably make an Angewomon turn into a lady Devimon is he tried, he was that good with Digimon.

Sentiments of surprise and relief overtook Obasi’s features at Leyton’s offer. “Really? I was afraid you were gonna turn into a digimon and eat us.” Obasi said, relived that at least for now the powdery-haired Hercules wasn’t going to kill them…yet. Legion was doubtful that anyone, but a digimon’s tamer or some sort of device could make him ascend. Still, both digimon and tamer were intrigued by the mystery man’s offer. It’s not like listening to him would hurt them. Well, if he’d told them to do something suicidal could, but that was beside the point. Legion would remain on guard and Obasi would inquire in hopes of knowing what this man knew. The idea of mega was hyperbole, but becoming something closer to ultimate was a highly tempting prospect. After all, in Legion’s previous life he was a Holy Angemon, and how the digimon desired to return to that state.

Copper eyes narrowed on Leyton’s form, and with a hint of doubt in his voice inquired. “How do you make someone’s digimon digivolve quickly?”

"Hmm, nah, Divine digimon don't sit well on my stomach, gives me a bad case of indigestion ha ha" he laughed patting his stomach, "But hey you two wouldn't look too bad smothered in batter and fried up with a side of fries." the white hair licked his lips at the last part jokingly.

"Well it's simple, we meditate, it's how I acheived my second form, that and I beat up a fangmon... Badly. I mean within an inch of it's life is all. And I'm a guru with Digimon man, when we done you migth be a super mega or even an ultra mega."

Hands over the mouth the diminutive duo laughed. Whoever he was the white-hair was certainly charming and fun to be around. The little Lucemon still held his reservations, but if he wanted to kill them he would’ve done it by now. Obasi weighed in with his own thoughts on Leyton’s proposal. “We need to meditate while you beat up a fangmon? Why a Fangmon anyway, and why meditate?” Obasi’s words contained the same bewilderment and uncertainty that the tamer had. He could only think of one reason for that. Well, one reason that made sense to him, but why would a perfect stranger do such a thing? The part about it having to be a fangmon seemed weird in general though.

“Ok, I guess we will start meditating.” His Lucemon partner could feel the confusion in his words, but hey maybe this would work? If not theat just means they would have killed a few minutes, but they weren’t exactly busy anyway.

"Because, well it attacked me and I needed to try my spirit out on something, but that's besides the point." he raised his hands stretching from side to side. HE began to jog in place, "Simple, peace of mind = peace of body, peace of body= more strength, m-m-more strength, m-m-more power, m-m-more power, m-m-more speech therapy." he coughed, weird stutter.

"Anyway it's simple, we meditate, you get your power on, I get my eagle on, and we both get a power boost, and even if it doesn't work wouldn't you like to eb more relaxed? It's like dating your friend's older sister, might not get you much in the long run but you can do it again and again and never get tired of it."

A frown mixed with a look of utter irritation appeared on both of their faces. Was this seriously what he had in mind? Meditation? Exchanging looks between each other, they decided it was probably better to go along with it. Neither of them had anything better to do anyway. They might as well go along with the crazy white haired man’s suggestions. Who knows? Legion might’ve evolved out of sheer embarrassment if anything. “So by meditating my digimon is gonna evolve? Ok, but what about my friend’s sister? And when you say get your eagle on, are you talking about fucking?” He inquired with a look of bewilderment.


“Anyway, what do we do to start this meditation thing?” He said still unsure of this guy, and his own reasoning’s for listening to Leyton. I know

He smirked at the boy's expressions, each seemed a bit impaitent with the powder haired warrior. "Yeah, meditating does all kinds of good shit for your body, makes you calm, gives you peace of body after all." Leyton sat on teh ground and crossed his legs, "Sit down first, and by your friends sister, well that was a bad metaphor for meditation so be like nike, and just do it."

Sitting down he took a deep breath, letting out a few shallow gasp, before sucking all of the air back into himself loudly. "First relax and close your eyes, mimic what I do." he continued the explosives breaths.

Every word out of Leyton’s mouth was either nonsense, or a reference to tv. Regardless, he was a hilarious and fun guy to be around, and those weird traits only added to his weird charm. Hesitation eventually melted away and Obasi took to the ground, ready to follow Leyton’s lead. With a soft thud Obasi’s backside fell upon the forest floor. The digimon was hesitant, but after some coaxing from Obasi he agreed to this weird request. Almost as if they were mentally linked their legs folded inward, and they mimicked Leyton’s pose.

Chest sucked in, eyes closed his voice absorbed gusts of wind and blew them out. To be honest, he didn’t understand the appeal of this. Not to mention he wasn’t feeling any calmer. Well, at least he wasn’t irritated anymore. It was also pretty cool so as ridiculous as he felt, it wasn’t all bad. “So, do we do this all day? And what is your name anyway?”

"My name is Leyton, Leyton Thomson the first, and I am your guide." he kept his eyes tightly closed, "I DON'T HEAR MIMICKING!" he barked like a drill sargent telling a new batch of privates to do push ups.

"If you want we can do 100 push ups, 100 jumping jacks, and 100 crutches." he raised a finger eyes sitll closed, "Well that's how you get a body like this anyway," he pointed to his chest and abs. "Yep, makes a little lady named Andrea knock kneed, I'll teach you that when your older though. So do you wanna do 100s or what?"
