TAMERS
So you wanna be a Digimon Tamer?
Tamers are the most common character class on Exodus. Based on the Tamers from Seasons 1, 2, 3, 5, and 7 of Digimon (Adventure, Adventure 02, Tamers, Data Squad, and Adventure Tri), these are the norm.
Regular Tamers work in unison with a single Digimon partner in order to achieve their goals. Most Tamers encourage virtues of teamwork and friendship with their Digimon, but this is not always the case -- the relationship between your Tamer and your Digimon is entirely yours to decide.
Tamers initially have a choice between the D-1, D-3 and D-Power Digivices, whilst Tamers with DATS get the iC Digivice and its unique Burst Mode ability. Each of these has its own key traits and drawbacks, which can be consulted further in the Digivice Information thread.
Tamers start at a flat 0 posts-- right from the beginning! This is so you can experience the nature of RPing your Digimon's Fresh and In-Training forms and hopefully establishing an initial relationship between Tamer and Digimon -- but I wouldn't worry. You'll be climbing levels in no time!
Finally, Digimon Tamers' unique Ultra equivalent is named Biomerge. When a Tamer Biomerges, they fuse with their Digimon and unify their power and fighting spirits together in an act of complete unity and cohesion to unlock their greatest strength!
