TRADING
Trading on Digimon: Exodus is very simple. There are three ways to do it, for both items and cards. These are:
- VENDOR RESALES
- PERSONAL TRADES
- AUCTIONS
Vendor resales are very simple. In each of the two subforums -- for items and cards -- there are threads (here for cards and here for items) which you can post in. Post the item or card you want to get rid of, and you'll be reimbursed; but only for half the original price.
Personal trades are a little more complex. Using the template below -- or another template, if you want to -- start a thread in the appropriate subforum (preferably entitled something like "<CHARACTER'S> ITEMS/CARDS FOR SALE". People can reply to this thread to negotiate a price in bits they'll pay for some of your items! Once a trade has been finalised, link to the post in the Notification Thread and staff will carry it out for you. Posts may not be sold in personal trade threads.
Auctions are slightly rarer. Only-ever staff-run, auctions will be set up in the appropriate trading sub-forum, selling a single (usually rare) item under a time limit. It's similar to an online auction: there's a starting bid, and from that the price may only increase. When the time limit expires, the person who paid the highest will receive the item! Occasionally, there may also be random box auctions where the contents of the box will be hidden.
