A Short Joke (Open)

The Fresh level shivered slightly at the man's cold logic. He was kinda right actually... If she ever thought about assimilating others, killing her off would save others' lives. Still... that meant that the actual bad guys here were getting a free pass to do as they pleased. Would that not also cost others' their lives? "But what if the people I would want to harm are worse than I? What if they only seek to devour innocent people? If you let them be reborn and they don't change, your actions would lead to the deaths of others." She'd say, her voice grating. This was not fair at all, the fact that this just opens up more and more cans of problems irritated her greatly. "Ugh... why are there no right answers!? Fix one problem and five more pop up!" She'd squeak, obviously frustrated by all this. Why did both worlds have to be so cruel? Why was there not just some magic answer to all these problems? It really was not fair.

Puttimon seemed to finally get ahold of herself after her short outburst. "Look, I don't know. All I know is that I know information about the wars of the human world, and I don't like that this stuff happens. It's not fair that some people, human or Digimon get away with doing all this horrible stuff, yet they never get a taste of their own medicine. I don't want to hurt people, but it feels like that is the only way to get people to stop and listen."

The small Digimon glanced into the man's eyes... He honestly looked very experienced in this world, far more than her. She wondered what cruelties he has personally experienced... or maybe even committed? It felt like his heart was in the right place definitely, but when you live in the Digital World, innocence surely could not last forever. "Mister? Have you and your partners ever fought in a life or death situation? As-assimilated someone?" She'd ask, an innocent and unsure look on her face.

A Short Joke.

Shaking his head he'd shrug,

"Your logic spoke of evil as a whole not the shades or levels it comes in. Evil is evil and should be given no chance for redemption....This is where my logic an yours differ. I believe everyone is capable of being good, it's those lead down the wrong path that cause this."

he'd pause for a moment then continue
.

"I believe that if you delete a digimon through normal means and find the matching digitama that results with a confirmed mate. Then you can guide it down the right path by changing it's upbringing. There is a method to deleting another's data to change them; as well as remove past memories."

He teased some poking her forehead.

"Who is to say I didn't do just that with you..."

Of course he was teasing but the point of their chat was to make her think and not act on such rash feelings, although chatting is one thing and forcing is another. yet he noted her final question.

"The answer to your problems is death. World wide, complete eradication. A virus to delete any and all digimon for good and once complete delete itself. With no digimon or man there are no problems. Just nature left to thrive an eventually if you believe, begin a new with another set of creatures until war reveals itself again and the process comes full circle again."

He'd smile some and ruffle her hair more.

"Then at this point you are becoming more and more  like those you hate. You look at the world black and white. You must understand Yin and Yang are one in the same. If you kill to get your message across then you must be evil. Because to kill is evil.  But if you sit back and do nothing then nothing will ever truly change. There is no right or wrong, it is what you make of this life and how it plays out."

He'd sigh some and try to help her understand.

"Some of those like myself are heroes, we punish the bad but not to an extreme of assimilation but to the point like I said where we try to give them a second change, now this isn't to say we are so foolish to try indefinitely but we do at one point do believe enough is enough and  either assimilate them or cast them away in prison's deep in the dark sea."

He'd say as she asked yet another question.

"Yes my digimon were killed recently although I've never assimilated an enemy they tried to do such to us. I nearly lost my life protecting my team mates. So yes, death is not a fear of mine nor my family. We understand it is inevitable but to die for a good cause is admirable and worthy of an early death."

He'd chuckle some then poke her nose,

"So why is someone so cute so interested in morbid ideals?"

he asked curiously arching a brow.

So he believed that everyone was able to be redeemed? That would be nice honestly... she wanted to believe that everyone can be a good person if they tried, but it was basically impossible to do so for everyone. Some people are just too stubborn. She could not help but puff her cheeks up all pouty when he teased her about maybe having tried to do the same thing to her. "Meanie, what would have I done in a past life to deserve that anyway?" She'd spit a raspberry at him, though it was mostly in a teasing manner. 

She listened intently at his words, frightened of the idea that the only solution basically amounted to genocide. So much for a solution... she was NOT a monster. It felt like all of the world's problems were so complicated... she felt useless for not being able to really do anything to help them. "So, is there really no clear answer? Is it just try and do what you think is right and hope for the best?" She'd ask. There were still so many things she was not sure on... all she wished was to live in a world where she could live to her heart's content. There was not much else she wanted.

So... there WAS a limit to his patience for others huh? She gulped slightly at that thought. What could someone do to afford them no mercy from someone as compassionate as this man? It was a frightening thought, even just imagining him angry. "I hope I never have that happen to me." She'd mumble softly, awkwardly gazing towards the Guilmon and Veemon timidly. 

As she felt herself booped where her nose would be, she could not help but glare at the man some, though coming from her adorable face, it just made her look silly. Despite initially being a bit angry, the look on her face calmed down, she now looking more than anything pitiful. "I wish I wasn't. Stupid brain seems to like to think about it, and I can't get it out of my head. Death death death... I don't want to think about that stuff!" She'd say, inching a bit closer to him, lying in his lap as she sighed slightly. Frankly, she didn't want to think about this stuff, but it just kept coming back to her over and over again. While still upset, being close to this human... it did make her feel better. She looked up at him, she looking like she was about to cry. "Am I a freak mister? For thinking so morbidly?"

A Short Joke.

Laughing he would ruffle her hair as she gave him a raspberry then poke her forehead,

"Easy there...no need to be rude I was teasing but at the same time I'm glad you noted my point."

He would say smiling as Guilmon and veemon closed their eyes for a nap while the two chat. His attention shifting he'd nod.

"Nope,no clear answer. Think about that, if there was would the problem exist?"

He'd chuckle a bit more as she mentioned his limited patients and teased pinching her cheeks.

"You have nothing to fear so long as you keep your nose clean cutie. Like said...everybody gets one second chance."

He said arching a brow as she spoke again Pulling her closer he'd pat her head and rub it some shaking his head

"No not at all, your just a child too smart for their own good. Let the adults and stronger digimon worry about it. Enjoy life while you can. Rarely do digimon mess with the weaker variants such as fresh or in training. It's not worth the hassle."

He'd say as he then picked her up and pat her head some more before offering her to help her a bit.

"Tell you what, I will keep you around and take you on my journey until your strong enough to handle your own and reach the rookie level. Then your free to go solo and do what you want. Sound good, do we have a deal?"

He'd say as he smiles some and waits for her response.

The Fresh level nodded at the polite tamer's responses to her questions. For a human... he certainly was quite wise. Then again, it sounded like he was a important figure for that organization he mentioned before. He'd have to be wise to be part of it. "One second chance." The Puttimon would repeat to herself, her voice very clear. Seemed fair. A second chance for everyone seemed fair, but she personally would not give any more chances. A fool she was not. 

Puttimon's eyes practically beamed when the man offered to take her along with him for awhile, at least till she could hit Rookie level and take care of herself. Honestly, she could not believe this... this man was too kind for his own good. The Fresh level's eyes got a bit watery as she nuzzled into his cloting. Most Digimon were naturally orphans, but it was clear that the baby was starting to get attached to this individual. She managed to collect herself once more, she looking up to him and nodding.  

After she had let her emotions loosen some, she awkwardly glanced upwards to the man, realizing that beyond calling him "mister", she did not know his name. "Mister? I don't think I know your name... Who are you?"

A Short Joke.

A warm smile passed as she seemed to be a bit emotional from the offer. Noting this he would do his best to answer her final question. A warm smile passed as he grinned wide an stood tall; the sun glistening across his tan and war beaten skin.

Scars all over an the weird but most likely war oriented paint coated his skin, golden hues would look to the tiny digimon as he reached down to pick her up. She had a better view of him now, nothing but pants and a cape.

Shifting the cape he'd made a sling of sorts and placed her in it, his back now warmed by the long white shaggy locks as his lips finally broke.

"I am Ryuu, Ryuu Oda. If what my parents say are true, one of the last true decedent of Nobunaga Oda. A man who once came close to unifying japan under his name. However, unlike him I am thinking much large, I will surpass his name in this world an next. I Ryuu Oda will be the man who not only unifies the digital world nor the my own. But both. I will unify two worlds at once and they will become one that can co-exists and prevent any further pain or suffering to either."

His words came out with such confidence as he continued

"But any good general acknowledges it is not just himself who wins a war but his army and those army are comprised of many individuals each unique and special. each capable of great feats on their own but when together an unstopable force. I plan to gather the world leaders on my end and establish some leaders on this end and successfully establish a sort of union between these two sets of leaders and thus create a New world order."

His gaze shifting down he'd smile warmly and ruffle her forehead before kissing it

"and you my cutie pie will be one of the few among it whom potentially might be a leader; perhaps a queen of a sub sector. A true queen of the mon."

He'd tease some smiling warmly as he looked down to his digimon.

"Just promise not to forget your family when you get there. Speaking of which little one, This is your brother Duke, the guilmon and your other brother Vee, the Veemon. Since you already know me this concludes your family introduction. There only remains one question love, have you decided a name for yourself princess?"

He'd say lovingly as they began to walk. Keeping his word to keep her around and along for his journeys.

Puttimon stared at Ryuu in shock at his claim that he may have very well been a descendent of Nobunaga Oda. She fully well knew about the man, and frankly she could see how Ryuu could be descended down from him. This guy was a born warrior. "Nobunaga. I know about him. A very scary foe to those who opposed him. You have warrior's blood mister... Ryuu." 

She could not help but actually awe at his determination and wishes. Frankly, his ideals were some that she could respect. Alot of the problems of these worlds felt like they were caused by a lack of unity. Not just mere dimensional barriers, but the fact that it seemed the only organization in these worlds were scattered. If one were able to unite them, the sky was the limits. While she was not sure he'd be able to accomplish such a feat, uniting the human and Digital World... it was an admirable feat to dream. 

She giggled at Ryuu's mild teasing, she for a moment daydreaming at the thought. Wouldn't that be nice? Lil' ole her growing up to be a leader... a queen! She was glad to know she was being welcomed with open arms... She glanced at the two draconian Digimon, she actually smiling some towards them. It felt nice to know she wasn't alone now... a family? She did not mind calling them that. "N-nice to you brother Duke and brother Vee." She'd greet the surprisingly quiet pair, she glancing back to Ryuu. "I... hmm... I want to call myself Angeli. Princess Angeli. Because maybe one day, I could be like someone's guardian angel... kinda like what your doing for me right now?" She giggled some as she weakly fluttered onto his shoulders, ready for the ride ahead.

A Short Joke.

A warm feeling seemed to fill his heart as she was fitting right in at home and was happy to call the others brother a warm smile passing the trio would be noted as the walked over and pat her head some until she flew up upon his shoulders.

Fixing his cape once more behind him they'd leave the tree and begin their journey onward. His first stop being a small training ground established by an elder for younger digimon up til rookie.

"Alright my little angel. Angeli it is, and as our first act as a family we will head to a small gym for young digimon an train. It's somewhere here in the forest and I will take us. So hold on tight little one, we are gonna jog there."

He'd say as the trio took off jogging towards their destination.
