"Just sit down and rest already Calli!"



Calli let out a sigh as Yukimi Botamon, and wiped some sweat from her forehead catching her breath. The desert was crazy hot and trying to climb the wall in front of her seemed almost impossible. With the way her feet angled towards one another is made it difficult. Climbing a tree was no problem for her, but rock walls there was not a lot of room for her feet with the way they turned inwards.



"No, Yukimi. I'm gonna climb this wall. We've gone this far on exploring, why should we turn back now?"



She spoke with determination, and Yukimi botamon just settle back into the hood of her jacket and sighed. She looked down at her scuffed and dust covered clothes. Her face and hands were scratched as well. A petite hand raised to block the sun as she glanced up the wall. She was lost in thought thinking about how she could make the climb when she was approached by a giant of a man.



Hearing his voice she froze and turned slowly on her heels. Her soft porcelain cheeks turned pink from embarrassment, and a soft wow could be heard form the back of her hood as Yukimi Botamon peeked from the hood. She decided to ignore his shrimp complement, and thought for amoment about his offer. Calli's dainty fingers picked at loose string on her sleeve and she gave a small smile as she began to reply to him.



"I'm Calliope Clearwater. It's nice to meet you, and I'd be really grateful for your help."



With that she shyly placed Yukimi Botamon in the makeshift sling that he made from his cape. She stood there awkwardly for a moment before he began to help her onto his back and climbed up the wall. She whispered a soft and barely audible thank you as she clung to him, trying not to choke him.

Never Give up

Grinning as she introduced herself, he'd nod and help Yukimi into the sling as Duke and Vee giggled murmuring about a new friend. A warm smile passe as he crouched down hands sliding up upon her calfs up to her thighs getting  a good grip as he then help guide her hands from his shoulders to around his chest and looked back.

"This is just so you don't choke me. Hang on tight, If you feel the need to hug close don't shy away. I don' want you falling."

With those words the male would grunt as he began to climb the wall with the extra weight. She was light and that made it less of a challenge then he was expecting, none the less it was still a challenge.

Each motion upward was a guess upon if the rock was solid enough to support them. Once or twice it wasn't but his intense core managed to tighten and grip another rock as he slowly made it towards the top.  Turning back he'd warn her to hold on before all at once with the last thrust upward he'd fling their bodies towards his destination. The flat side of the cliff.

Upon landing hard upon his knees and hands, he'd smile as his hands gently pat her bottom,

"Alright, your safe to open your eyes and let go, we are at the top."

He'd say with a hearty chuckle, letting the digimon go and undoing the cape.  Motioining for her to follow him he'd turn back as he slowly walked towards the edge leaning some before jumping back and over, only to remain still.

"Invisible bridge. Few know about it but it's solid and will take us over the canyon and avoid some thugs who try to prey on the weak who take that path. So coming."

He'd offer his hand and continue to lead her towards the destination. Monochromon's shop and his personal base of interest near by.

"I never really did get the reason your doing all this, my beautiful friend? But sometimes I feel, we do things just because we can or feel we need to."

He'd say almost hinting at his curiosity. Yet respectful as to not intrude on her personal matters. Yet at the same time his large stature might have intimidated her into some sort of revealing. Unless she was quick to catch on to his gentle holding of her hand as he lead her across the bridge. Before finally making it across.

"Well we are here. Congrats on making it this far, how uch further you got to go Sigma mountains? You said your new here no?"

He'd inquire a bit more again out of curiosity. Since folks rarely came out this far.

She stayed quiet as the digimon mumbled back and forth, and he helped her onto his back. Her lips parted as she whispered a small okay to what he instructed her and guided her arms around his chest. As he began to climb Calliope stayed calm even when a couple rocks broke under their weight. She hoped that her extra weight wasn't causing extra problems for him.



Her gripped tightened on him as he warned her and flung the two of them up over the top of the cliff. As she began to slide off his back, she felt his hand pat her butt. A squeak jumped from her lips and she swatted at his hand, causing her to to fall flat on her bottom. A groan of pain left her mouth as she pulled herself up and watched him walk over to the edge of the cliff.



She couldn't help but wander what he was doing. Calli looked away for only a second as she reached down to pick up Yukimi. Looking back up as he spoke to her she noticed his hand out for her to take. She kindly refused and laughed inwardly at herself and followed him across the bridge. An invisible bridge, but no invisible latter? The digital world just seemed more and more odd as she explored.



"Well honestly, I'm just exploring, no real reason behind my traveling. What about you? Where are you traveling to?."



Her words where soft and her cheeks pink as she spoke. When they made it across, Yukimi thank him as well and Calliope gave him a nervous smile.

Never Give up

Listening to her he was a bit surprised, arching a brow he'd rub the back of his head.

"I'd never have expected you to be the Adventurous type, then again you are here. Interesting, how long you been here. I first came around eight, then within the last month or two Duke and Vee were deleted and reborn without there memories. So I'm kind of starting over."

He'd say as he then thought about her words.

"I got some connections here with some Dramon digimon one of the name Monochrmon we go way back. I been looing for work and I was hoping he'd have some or know some folks who might help."

Pausing he'd look to her and smile.

"But you are new and new tamers could use guidance. I am starting up a tamer's union I need founders an member, could I interest you and help guide you in the way of the digital world. My temporary base isn't far from here, ya know so if your interested we could discuss there."

He'd say offering to lead them to sit and talk at a nearby cave.

"I actually was thinking of getting meeting Monochromon, your gonna need work too. If he has a job for me we could do it together."
