"Becoming a legend" (ryuu)

The trio had done quite a lot during their time in the digital world, they had stopped countless corrupted digimon, helped save Terabyte city and a beach hotel,found three of the legendary armor digi-eggs, formed a group of heroes to help save the world and reunited a little girl with her family and so much more. Their latest adventures inside the digital world helped Renae and Remy make the push to ultimate level. Once this news spread around the south, many of the jungle dwelling nature trooper type digimon came either looking for protection, advice or just a comforting ear. Adam had become known as the Wild Boy of the jungle but even though they had accomplished many a legendary thing the trio didn't quite see themselves as legends but more as just people doing what was right because it was right. 

It had been rather quiet for the trio as of late however aside from a few requests for protection from some corrupted digimon or help rebuilding some homes due to storms and the like so the trio was enjoying some nice rest in the thick branches of the jungles tall canopy, having picked the perfect spot where just enough light shined through to keep them warm. The three heroes had decided to rest in three separate trees so that their eyes were spread out among the jungle. As they lounged however all three felt an incredible bored feeling wash over them.

"I can't believe I'm saying this guys but I kinda wish something big would happen."

Remy just yawned and stretched out along his branch and let one of his legs hang off of it while his tail wagged a bit, the fur blowing in a light breeze.

"I don't know what you're talking about Adam. This is awesome, do you know the last time was we got to be lazy bums?"

Renae just giggled into her paw and her tail began to wag with joy.

"Remy you're always a lazy bum. There is no last time with you."

Remy just sat up and looked over at her sister as she giggled away and just raised an eyebrow.

"What's your point sis?"

Adam just rolled his eyes but quickly sat up as he heard a familiar sound of a Stingmon's wings buzzing toward them. They had asked a recently digivolved lilymon that they knew to keep an eye on the outer jungle and look for any interesting new visitors or for trouble. The girl must have found something. It wasn't long before the rather beautiful flowery digimon hovered in front of Adam looking a bit out of breath. Adam had met her while she was a Palmon and knew her the entire time she was a sunflowmon. She was a rather nice girl though she could be a bit air headed and spazzy at times.

"Take a deep breath Lilly. You are gonna putter yourself out if ya keep going like that. What have I told you about breathing through your nose while flying. Now, what's the news?"

The spastic lillymon took a deep exaggerated breath before she began to flail her arms around and speaking a thousand miles a minute about idol gossip she had heard about who had digivolved or who stole who's berries. Adam just rolled his eyes and covered the lillymon's mouth. Adam then stuck his finger over his lips which made the lillymon nod.

"Now, I'm gonna take my hand away, and when I do you're gonna speak slowly and only tell me the important bits yea?"

The lillymon nodded and Adam took his hand away. The lillymon then told him that a strange older man with long white hair was wandering the jungle. This caused all three of the trio to sit up, exchange glances and then look back at Lillymon.

"Go to him, lead him here. It's best we meet him before he has the chance to do any damage."

The lillymon then did a soldier like solute before going to fly off at top speed and soon out of sight but soon a loud thud was heard as she ran into a tree. That was soon followed by a "I'm okay!" and then silence. Now all the trio could do was wait.

When the man showed up with his two baby digimon, Adam and his twins moved from their lounging positions and into that of sitting ones on the branches they were perched on. Adam just listened as the guy before them began going on and on about how they must have achieved great things because he had twin partners. This Made Remy, the more egotistical of the group smile but that smile quickly faded when Renae shot him a quick glare and put her finger over her lips to silently tell him to keep quiet. Adam just looked down from his branch at the giant adult but he wasn't scowling but rather smiling an easy going smile.

'It's not the deeds that make someone great but why they do those deeds. We aren't anything special, we do what we do not cause it will make us famous but because we are needed. Sure we can talk. The name is Adam."

Adam then just leaned back and let himself drift backwards off of the branch but as he began to fall he used the back of his knees to cause himself to go into a roll. It wasn't long before the young wild boy landed in the grass with a light thud, looking unharmed despite having fallen from such a high place. Once his bare feet were on the ground, he sat down and leaned his back up against the thick trunk of the tree he was once in. Hearing her idol and protector say that he wasn't anything special made the Lillymon gasp. She then began to go on a super rant about how Adam and his team not only had two of the legendary armor digi-eggs but also the golden digi-egg of destiny. She then continued by saying that they could dna digivolve and could also reach ultimate all by themselves. Before she could finish listing off the groups resume, Adam just motioned her down with his hand which made the ditzy digimon land on her knees.

"Lilly, I need you to do a super important job for me okay? Go to the west side of the jungle and see if any of the Pokomon have digivolved yet."

The lillymon just nodded, hugged Adam around the neck and then took off like a bullet once more. Adam just shook his head but smiled.

"You gotta forgive her, she's newly digivolved and I think the process made her a few pollen short of a bulb if ya know what I'm saying. She's a sweet girl though, she's my go too. What she says is true though. Not only that but I'm the leader of the soon to be legendary lightsworn, a group of tamers and their digimon inspired by the digi-destined of legend. So what brings a hulking oak tree like yourself to my neck of the woods?"

Renae just sighed from up in her tree.

"Please do forgive him sir. He's lived in this jungle a long time."

Remy then just laughed while holding his sides.

"Yea he has the formality of a stump!"

Adam then just looked up into the tree where Remy was lounging.

"You have no room to talk mr. picks his teeth with tree bark."

Becoming a Legend

As he listened to the boy and watched him land he noted he had no shoes on. Wiggling his own bare feet he grinned, the kid had some sense some style, he was a real manly man despite being  a boy. A faint chuckle passed as he continued to analyses and listen to the boy at the same time shifting his gaze about the room.

It wasn't until the boy sent the busy body Lilymon off that he'd turn his attention back to the boy who was now apologizing for her actions. Raising a hand he'd shake his head as if it wasn't an issue. Although he seemed to earn the man's respect to some degree, he lacked a certain confidence or back bone in regards to supporting his allies regardless. Most likely a reference to trying to keep peace.

"I must say, you impress me for a kid so young. You remind me of a young me. Although at your age I might have been a bit more reckless. None the less, thankfully I was trained bt the legendary heroes. An old self formed group of tamers. Their Ideology was nice. But this Lightsworn you speak of, I have heard of them  a little here and there."

As he then heard the two renamon crack wise his inner general would kick in,

"I see things are done a bit loosely around here. Interesting, but it must make for some rather difficult times. Anyways, what I was going to say is never apologize for your generals, those who are your go to are just that for  reason. Love then for their perfection and flaws."

Pausing he'd stand.

"If someone doesn't like it,to hell with them. To quote a famous american leader. 'I may not agree what with you have to say but I will defend your right to say it.' a wise man he was. I think you should remember this next time you disagree with your go to's action. Support them and in your time of need they will remember the kindness and die fighting for you if need be."

Walking over to other two he'd look at them bother,

"She must be the more reasonable of the two, she reminds me of Vee. He on the other hand must be the muscle of the two, reminds me of Duke. Anyways...where were we."

He'd say turning back to the boy.

"Ahh yes that's right. I am Ryuu Oda. Last known student of the Heroes of Legends and I came seeking to establish roots for what I plan to make The Legendary Tamer union."

A wide grin passed the males mouth before sitting own once more,

"I have yet to ask my remaining time for such a conference. Please tell me how many minutes I have left to speak and get my point across. I'd like to effectively Present my idea to you within the allotted time."

He'd say as he sat there waiting

The trio's collective eyebrows raised all at once when the man known as Ryuu began to go on about how they ran things loosely and then began to talk about generals and then some famous american guy. Both Remy and Adam looked up and down at one another with confused expressions but still smiled because the new comer had complimented Adam. The smiles soon faded however as the man began to compare Remy and Renae, calling one reasonable and the other the strong one. This was where Adam had to draw the line as the man sat back down and started asking how much time he had left to talk in a super fancy and complicated way. Both Remy and Renae did not look happy.

"First things first, I don't know anything about any human world famous talking people but here is what I do know. My team is not an armor or some fancy orginization, we are family. We joke around like families do but we also get things done when they need to be done. Please do not compare my digimon, Remy is just as smart and responsible as Renae and Renae is just as strong as Remy. So please don't compare them."

Adam then sighed which caused both Remy and Renae to jump down from the trees from which they were sitting in. Both patted Adam's shoulders and then all three of them sat back down with a sigh. Renae looked toward Ryuu and smiled a warm smile. She wanted this to go off smoothly at all costs.

"You have our full attention sir for as long as you need it. I have heard of that legendary group before. I take it upon myself to keep my ear out for legends. So if I may ask, why have you sought us out today?"

Remy couldn't help but chuckle a bit as his sister acted all polite but Adam was intently watching the man.

"I'm all ears man. What is it you have sought us out for?"

Becoming a Legend

As he listened to the boy take a hostile tone he'd arch a brow, that was something he didn't expect then again he was dealing with a child and there age gap was quite some difference. However he'd bite his tongue and listen to him scold the male for making a simple comparison to how they reminded him of his own digimon but not comparing them to each other; clearly there had been a miscommunication.

Sighing he'd exhale slowly and explain.

"You misunderstood me Adam, I meant they reminded me of my igimon because of their attitudes and behaviors...but if I have offended you or more importantly them then fine. I apologize as it was not my intent."

Folding his arms over his chest he'd speak a bit more,

"Sure what you say is true and you can do as you wish, but a family also needs structure and some form of plan for emergencies. But to each his own I suppose."

He'd shrug some then listen to the digimon speak,

"Well Remy, I was a student of them long ago. I came out seeking an old ally of our Stingmon. I want to form a Team, The Legenary Tamer Union. But not just any union. We would personally make connections around the digital work keep an eye out for familes who as adam put it stay closely knit and tend to only ask for help from others they trust."

He'd pause before continuing.

"We plan to build trust among the familes, do jobs to help them grow and remove the evil in the world. But we can't just go around and destroy digimon; that only solves the immediate issue. No We want to kill it at the root. I personally in the real world try to pick out chilren or tamers and help them get assigned to those we delete."

He'd smile.

"With memories gone they get a fresh start and with proper guidance a chance to be something that everyone doesn't believe they can be. Good. We believe there are no bad people or digimon, just misguided so we want to create a world where both people and digimon can co-exist in harmony. Where we can mutually benefit and live with each other. "

He'd then raise up to his feet and look towards the trees.

"Ever notice you can digivolve easier then others. This is because you have guidance friendship and love alongside trust. Things every digimon needs, if they don't they can be corrupted. But enough about my views. I merely which to establish a connection here with the Jungle Trooper family to help them out and work our way up to becoming strong allies; as I have done for the Dragon's Roar."

He'd say smiling as he then looked to his two digimon who seemed content with his words before looking to adam as he would too.

"I' also like to make allies with you adam, you'd make a valuable friend in the fight for my cause, perhaps my connection with these Jungle Trooper familes?"

He'd ask curiously.

Adam just listened quietly as Ryuu explained about his group. Adam had to admit that it did seem rather interesting to say the least. There was indeed strength in numbers. Adam just looked up at his two digimon silently and they just began nodding silently back and forth like they were having a silent conversation between tamer and digimon. It was a nice offer that they had been given. The thing was, Adam was a leader already and wasn't sure if he was capable of following such a military like operation. There were many pro's and many cons to the situation but they knew that they needed to help the digital world all they could.

"Okay you have a deal man. We will help all we can, for now at least. I'm usually the leader, and your military style is questionable but I'll try anything once."

Renae then nodded quietly and stepped forward.

"But if you do anything that goes against Adam's values or get him hurt they we will walk."

Remy then nodded with a small snarl.

"Until that day, consider us at your service."

Becoming a Legend

As he heard the boy and their digimon he'd grin. They seemed to be as close as he was with his digimon if not perhaps a bit closer. Either way their agreement to join him sufficed.

"I am glad I have your support. I acknowledge your concerns and will do my best to meet expectations."

Bowing the male would take his leave and allow the boy his time to do what he needed. Searching for Lilimon in the jungle was his next step he would want to gain her and the jungle troopers permission to claim some missions and earn respectable reputation among them.

Leaving with his twins in his arms he'd once more disappear into the jungle to continue on his journey and perhaps find more allies.
